Always get a killer deal at Harbor Freight! The staff at this one was really friendly, outgoing, and helpful. I got a great deal on what I was looking for, and some more great deals on items I wasnt looking for! Its really fun to shop at Harbor Freight.

They tried to be helpful but some of things I wanted were out of stock and they did check. Always some cheap tools that you can use there.

Pre-ordered a 56” toolbox. When the box arrived, I received a phone call to come pick it up. I asked how late I could pick it up, and was told any time before 8 p.m. Drove the 40 minutes out of my way to get to the store. When I arrived I was told that they can’t load my box because they don’t have enough people. Assuming it was too heavy for the 2 people that were working, I offered to help. The associate told me they use a forklift, and then still said they can’t load the box. Offered for me to come back the next day before 4 p.m. Great! I’ll take the day off so I can fit their needs. Very frustrating experience.

The manager of this Vancouver store( was there Saturday a.m. I believe)does the best she can to accommodate the guests and the operation. Of course things are not perfect in the transition back to re opening the economy and the circumstances,staff, and especially the customers have been very difficult lately . Myself included.I sincerely admire her efforts in the face of obvious challenges she navigates daily . I dont know her name but I want to show her the support and recognition she probably deserves.Dont expect to win any popularity contest but make your store a profit and you will likely succeed. You earned my business ( and I even endured your sarcastic remarks no harm no foul I get it 100%)This property isnt the necessarily best location and it still does well in my observation. So, thanks for your efforts. I called that good management!!

I drove from an hour away to find out the inventory on their website was wrong. They refused to sell the display. I understand stores have policies about displays but when there is something wrong you should make it right for the customer. I was the third customer that day trying to buy the Bauer thickness planer and if they would have sold it to the first customer it would have corrected the inventory discrepancy. They could have sold it to me to prevent the next three customers from driving 2 hours round trip. The supervisor David would not bend on the policy to make it right... it’s just really poor customer service and inventory management.

Came in to Harbor freight today to buy a 3/8 ratchet and ended up leaving with a cart full of items LOL. They used to have low quality tools but I am quite impressed with the last year or so at how they have raise the bar and really are striving to sell good quality tools at an economical price. This is why I keep coming back here it just gets better and better. And to top it off I saw the largest tool chest I’ve ever seen in my life that they have for sale there many options. Love this place!

I have never had worst customer service experience in my life not only was the manager rude but when they did finally get the product that I didnt want but had to get they brought it up front and let me stand there for 10 minutes without saying oh heres your product the cashier that was helping me just walked away worst experience ever will not go back one out of five stars I would do zero if I could

The cashier wasnt able to do simple math in that he tried over charging for my purchase... Other than that it is was a good visit, I found what I was looking for.... I have no real complaints other than the above mentioned which was remedied before I left the store... All in all I will shop there again...

This is the sign on the store for hours. Yet its not eight. They aint open.Great fence post levels though. This is the best harbor freight I have ever been to as far as cleanliness, service, line waiting time, and clientele.So five stars. But dont bother coming after seven thirty when I got here.

Harbor freight tools is awesome. its not the absolute highest quality stuff but its always really good for how much you pay and it is the least expensive place to get tools.

No, I think at this point, harbor freight is not a place for me. The last time I was there, it was all about the manager. I am the manager and my time is very valuable and Im a very busy person. All I would of like to have done was to exchange a 4 pack of tie down belts for ones that were bigger and heavier duty. I did not want my money back. They were going to make more money on this transaction. In todays time and technology I really didnt see the problem with that exchangeThey have my e-mail, they have my only phone # that I have, they have my home address.But no. I didnt have my receipt.Yes indeed, where is the old fashion, customer service we all once knew. So, I was in Gresham, Oregon today helping a friend. We neede some tools, we went to Home Depot. This afternoon we went to Sherwood, Oregon to visit a friend. He was working on a project. Yeap, there is harbor freight there and again, we instead went to Home Depot. Their manager there was vey helpfull. Yeap, went back there twice. So no, I dont see harbor freight in my Cristal ball any time soon ...

Harbor Freight is always a great place to hang out - they usually have a little of everything, and some unusual finds too. Some items are hit or miss, but generally a good alternative as a source for tools

Staff was very friendly and helpful, even during the pandemic. Found what I was looking for. In contrast I had ordered the same item two months ago, and it was back ordered, but the stores had it the whole time. The company gets 3 stars, but this location (Tigard) gets 5. So 4 on average. I recommend this store especially at this location to anyone, so long as you understand what this store is; A place to buy cheap but often effective tools.

Ive had nothing but great experiences with Harbor Freight. Their tools have held up well and to top it off you can always find some coupon to use. I do a lot of projects around the property and for friends as well. I have yet to have one of their tools fail on me. And for those tools that get used perhaps a few times a year, it makes no sense to buy a brand name tool that costs perhaps 2-3 times more.

This is a great place for a bargain on tools that do the job! You MUST know what you need before going into this location as the staff are quite bothered when asking for any assistance. This must be one miserable location to work at as the staff are not friendly what so ever.The staff is also very conniving. I used a 20% off coupon for a $119.00 item, on the same purchase I also bought a $2.99 item and the staff member applied the coupon to the least valuable item...

Sometimes you need cheap tools or throw away stuff, Harbor Freight is the great place for that. I bought a 9000 watt generator that works perfectly for 4 days of power outage.

Dude behind the register tried drawing me into a political discussion when I asked if they offered a veteran discount. Clearly into the anarchist thing with the clothing and apparel he was wearing. Started prodding me about the presidents comments about vets. I dont care one bit about anything political and was simply trying to purchase some tools. Veterans shouldnt be used for political points, especially in the PNW when any other time, vets are looked at like criminals and world police. Keep your personal jargon at home, not a place of business that i will never visit again.

With the exception of nitril gloves, all of the sale items that I went there to purchase were in stock. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The only negative thing was that in order to accommodate seasonal items, stock had been moved so that the aisle identification signs were inaccurate.

Drove a ways to get a rotary tool for my business. Within the first day the tool broke. The staff was great. But the products have very few choices to choose from. So the products on hand are cheap and not well made. Paid 30$ for a cordless grinder that I have to remove the battery every time I use it.

I love this place! Theyre so convenient and almost always have what I want. Ive bought everything from hand tools to a large tile saw and find the quality to be very good - especially for the price. I use them exclusively for drill bits, 4 grinder discs, microfiber cloths, cable ties, etc. Their tool storage is top shelf. As a hard core do-it-yourselfer, I often need a tool for just one project and dont want to break the bank. Harbor Freight fills that bill and with their new line of Doyle pliers they have a direct competitor with Channel Lock at a substantially lower cost.

Ive always said that for a business to survive you must have cheap prices and/or good service but you must have at least one. If the prices at this store ever go up they are in a world of hurt...

Inexpensive tools and stuff. Some are great values (like the 4/4.5 angle grinders that last forever - multiple blades) and some arent (like the sawzall knockoff - lasted 10 seconds on first cut). If you dont use a tool a lot you might as well try the inexpensive one first. I own a lot of their tools and enjoy browsing the store and their catalogs.

I was impressed by the variety of tools here. You do need to make a walk through to fully grasp what is available. From small hand tools to the heavy tools, you will find many of them. They didnt appear to have every possible tool that you might want, but for the convenience and price, this store should get a visit from you if you spend much time around tools.

Cheap tool place that has just about everything

I read a lot of reviews about the quality of their tools. Ive purchased tools randomly from a few of their stores. Never had one fail that I didnt abuse.

Love this place! While I do have a full set of professional grade tools, Harbor Freight is a great place to pick up tools that dont need to be so precise, or you dont use everyday. For some items, I would recommend spending five minutes looking at reviews before you make your selection (and print out some coupons :-) because some items may not work as well as needed. A lot of it depends on what youre doing. The employees always seem helpful in finding the items, but they may not know how well some items work.

Harbor Freight has off brand tools that are less expensive than name brand tools, and usually have good warranties. They always have sales, and getting free items with purchases is nice. Place is well organized and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Always fun (and a little overwhelming because of the huge selection) to come here to pick up some things. We had a specific project we were shopping for so we didnt have to much time to shop around as we knew exactly what we were there to get. I always think we are so lucky that we live so close to one of these because we can always find what we need in such a short amount of time and there is always someone there that we can ask questions to.

Get most of my tools there and quick easy parking. Just wish that as a ITC member it would automatically ring up the club price after scanning your club member key chain card. Love the new tool lines.
