Don’t bother wasting your time or your money here. My family and I are moving and we purchased a washer, dryer, and fridge from here. The washer and dryer were fine but when the fridge was delivered it didn’t work. We asked before purchasing if everything works and we were told that everything he goes through a 24 point inspection before going on the showroom floor (Bologna). The fridge they sent us wouldn’t even turn on. So I called the store and informed them I was coming in. Whoever I spoke to failed to tell me the managers were leaving I went for nothing. We called the next day and we were told they could get us the fridge from IN. Apparently, there are 2 locations in IN and the one that had our fridge wasn’t in their district. At this point they wasted 3 days in which we could have been looking for a fridge elsewhere. They finally informed us today that they would issue a refund which should have been done from day one because we will be in our new house in the next few days and we don’t have a fridge. Like I said, don’t waste your time or money here. Absolute worst experience ever.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!first to start it off terrible customer service!!!Also bought a sofa couch did not have screw holes for the front of the couch and was not explained when first purchased that we would have to make holes for the legs of the couch. Also goes through a third party delivery service but they are great. When calling to speak to manager employees don’t seem to know what they are doing and don’t go over financing options. Not a good experience having to go out and but power tools for furniture that was previously stated “Only needed to be screwed in” When talking to third party delivery service seems like this is a trend with their SOFAS!!! BAD FIRST MOVING EXPERIENCE

This was my first time here. I came here to help my mom buy a fridge. They have some really good products, and most of them are priced at a fair amount. I have seen a couple of products where it’s best just to pay full price for it. The workers who were there, all friendly and helpful. The worker who helped us that day was super friendly & helpful. I wish I can remember her name, she explained everything in detail, as well did her best to answer any of the questions I or my mom had. Sadly for the delivery for the fridge wouldn’t be a week from that day, but she did say we can come back anytime to pick up the fridge if we find a truck. We came back that same day in the afternoon, she, herself helped us load the fridge !

It all started as if I was purchasing a car and I was exhausted! I had a salesperson that was clearly going through something and maybe should of had the day off. I wont name any names to spare that person and to leave an honest review. I wanted a simple bed, dresser, and mattress set which should have taken an hour at the most to get purchased. My salesperson was going through something mentally and physically so my husband and I tried to help speed things up so we ended up finding out furniture in the store ourselves. This process took 4 hours and we still didnt get our items delivered on time. We received 2 of the same items and no boxspring. After the weekend I spent the next 3 days trying to get my full delivery. Finally the 4th day they rectified my situation and the manager delivered my boxspring himself. Although I had a not so good experience at first, they fixed it in the end and for that, I give them 4 stars!

Fantastic from start to finish. Vikki Evanich was knowledgeable and helpful and I was able to get in and out quickly while saving hundreds of dollars. Their installer did a great job was very courteous plus the installation was more difficult than planned and he made sure he took his time to get it right. with no additional charges. The installer is a subcontractor by the name of Heavens or blessings installations I wish I caught his name.

My experience with them was good at the store but when I got financed for the merchandise through the finance Dept American First Finance they tried to charge me an extra 1200.00 I only financed 1350.00 it’s a hoax don’t do it !!!

Ive had the worse experience with this store. Ive schedule a delivery and they call me that the truck broke down ok I get it, supposedly someone was going to call me to schedule my delivery again, no one did, I had to call 4 times until they gave me another day. Im waiting the day of the delivery the time goes on and I call, they tell me sorry your delivery is not going to be made today. Really, Ive been waiting 3 hours and no one could call to tell me that. If it wasnt because I need the appliances I would have cancel everything.

Great prices. Most of merchandise has small Nicks and scratches but their are some appliances that are sold out of the box. Sears do deliver according to miles, and the store do carry parts for appliances.

I was told no matter what I bought if it was delivered if it gets damage they wont replace it made me not want to spend a dime they wont last

I went here when it was still the Sears Outlet and I was not impressed. They had very little stock, very limited options and no real discounts. I mean they offered discounts, but sale prices everywhere else were just as good or better. I bumped it up to 3 stars as I did a quick walk through. Didnt see too many super good deals but they warrant further consideration.

Horrible experience on multiple occasions. I have purchased both a refrigerator and a dishwasher. First, I purchased my dish washer and paid for it to be delivered, installed, and hauled away, costing around $150. I was then called the morning of my delivery and told they were unable to deliver. I decided to come get my appliance and have it installed by someone else. This was handled and I was refunded my money for the delivery, installation, and haul away. This was an inconvenience but not what was my final straw. I then purchased my refrigerator and again paid for the same expected service of delivery and installation. My refrigerator was first delivered late, I had to call and ask if it was still coming on that day. It finally arrived late in the evening 3 hours after expected time. It was installed and then told everything worked fine (I.e. ice maker, water filter, etc.). I started to notice a day after installation the refrigerator stated filter needed to be changed. We bought a new filter and the light went off and everything assumed to be working good. We go to the basement to retrieve some items to find a puddle of water on the floor under where the refrigerator is placed. We immediately pulled the unit from the wall and found the floor soaked under fridge and floor softening. This occurred on a Sunday 3 days after delivery. The following day we attempted to contact the purchased office location and was told to leave our information and the manager will call. The manager then calls from a blocked number and told to call back, this was 30 minutes before they close. We immediately call back at 7:32pm and was told the manager Lily W. Was gone for the day and there is nothing they can do. So now I have damaged property and had to pay an independent company to come and appropriately install the refrigerator unit. I will never purchase anything from them again!! This has consistently been the worst service I have ever received after spending thousands of dollars on appliances. Never Again, Wow.

This place used to be Sears outlet which had great deals. Seems the inventory and setup were similar from previous owner but prices are elevated. They have rented items but still pricey. The inventory is name brand and if you like pretty appliances this is the place.

From the moment I walked in the sears outlet I felt welcomed and warmed from Lindsey’s greeting. She was very knowledgeable of the products that I inquired about. I didn’t think I was going to actually make a purchase today but after Lindsey and I got acquainted she knew exactly what I needed/wanted! The staff was very knowledgeable about the stock on site. Definitely some deals here, but dents and dings abound. Some were fine, some were not. Worth a look to save a bunch of money. I would definitely go back for my next appliance or furniture. Yes, they have furniture too!

Sears Outlet used to have discontinued or one of a kind appliances. American Freight carries damaged appliances. Original manufacturers warranty still applies but damage is notable, like doors not closing correctly on refrigerators.

We purchased a washer and dryer set from Lindsey Lusby. She was great at answering my questions and making sure I bought exactly what I wanted and needed. We are very happy with our purchase and with the service we received. We will definitely go back in the future.

Bought a Hotpoint Dryer from this location - got it at a great price. There were few sales people in the store, and the ones that were seemed very discriminate with who they approached and asked for help. We were not one of the ones that were asked if we needed help. We finally found someone who would assist us and we paid for our purchase and took it with us. No problem with helping load our truck. For various reasons we never got around to connecting the dryer, but when we finally did, a year later, it didnt work. We called customer service and was told the warranty expired (was only for 1 year) and we had to pay for a tech to come out. $99 to look at it, plus parts. Tech came out, saw it was brand new and never been used. Said the auto cut-off switch was pinched in the inside part of the door. Released it and it worked perfectly. Tech was a gem - n/c! Wish we would have been able to test it in the store before we purchased, but it works perfectly and were happy with it.

I had an issue with a refund and online customer service however it was resolved and the store manager Vicky was very apologetic, genuine, and understanding about the matter and went above and beyond which is something I appreciate in customer service!

You can get great deals on appliances and lawn machinery here as long as you dont a few scratches or dings. They offer great waranties for repairs or exchange if you are not happy with your product. I have been going here for years and recommend this store.

I worked with her because she answered the phone when i called at 10am sharp, with questions regarding my future purchase; I did not know she was the manager until after she started assisting me in the store. Shopping for major household appliances is usually about as pleasant as undergoing a root canal----trying to understand which features you do & dont need, hoping that the salesperson is knowledgeable, attempting to determine if youre receiving the best deal----well, my recent purchase experience at the Tinley Park, Illinois Sears Outlet was more like enjoying a terrific summer day at the beach all because of the superb professionalism of store manager Vikki Evanich. My clothes washer & dryer had recently quit on me, and within ten minutes of my arrival at Sears Outlet, Vikki identified the best replacement clothes washer & dryer for me, consummated the purchase, & we were chatting like longtime pals! What a terrific experience! I had never previously visited this Sears Outlet location & it is absolutely outstanding-----& so is Vikki Evanich & her fine staff. I cant say enough about the customer service that we have experienced at this Sears Outlet.Both at our time in the store and when we lost the original receipt and almost a year later needed to get proof of purchase, the staff at this store were kind, courteous and went above and beyond to help us out. One of the employees, Shawn even offered to personally send some photos of an old invoice that we were missing to help us out in a pinch. Both times we have interacted with the staff here, we have been given quality service and product of considerably higher service than we paid for.I would highly recommend purchasing from this store.

Dottie helped us find another one instead Entire staff helped us a d were extremely friendly. We even hung around to buy a few more odds and ends. Surprising to get service like this these days! Great store, my experience there was amazing. I went in to look at a washer and dryer set and the sales person Jihan was very helpful and knowledgeable about appliances. I wasn’t sure what to get at first but she was definitely amazing. In the end I didn’t purchase anything because I needed to measure the spot i want to install the washer and dryer. However, I will return to make my purchase. I will definitely recommend to my friends that are in the market for appliances.

Terrible experience at this location. Just bought a house and looking to purchase multiple appliances. First time I’ve ever been in the store. Since I’m looking to save some money I thought the Outlet store would save me some money. Since I just got my tax refund back I was ready to buy!! The prices are not that good at all considering the damage I saw. As I walked around, nobody approached me at all to see if I needed help. Then things got even worse. A white haired elderly lady who looked like a manager was basically publicly shaming her employee for making mistakes. It made me feel so uncomfortable and downright angry that someone has the nerve do such a thing for the customers to actually hear. After I left I went to the Home Depot right down the street and spent over $5000.

Im not gunna lie after reading all the bad reviews I was very skeptical about shopping here as anyone should, but after the service we got from the store manager Matt I have to disagree. After putting up with us for an hour Matt finally found us the perfect washer and dryer set with warranties at outstanding prices and even gave us 24months no interest on my sears card, when I asked about the about all the bad reviews (cause I really wanted to know why it was so bad) he explained that there was poor management before him and he was fairly new store and was trying to put back the confidence into the store. So I figured this review would help him since he gave my husband and I outstanding service!!!!!
