This is a great location. We were looking for a game for my 4 year old son, Lego Jurassic park and we couldnt find it. A young kid named Dan I think asked to help us and he looked for about 15 minutes and finally came back with it and my little man was so excited! He event took us right to a register to pay for it so we could get out quick! Thanks!
I am so disappointed with my recent purchase. I purchased a wooden tv stand, when it arrived the box the beat to hell and you know that means open with caution. Open the box and the first part is split in 1/2. I get on the phone to process a replacement, it comes the next day in worst condition than the first one. You can only speak to someone overseas with bad phone reception and a thick accent. This is why Walmart gets so much business, you expect raggedy products. This time I want a refund, I’m done!

Josh the service manager deserves a raise. He saved me a headache and your company from wasting time & resources. open box items are not automatically included in the price match guarantee- so after support denied me a match, so I was going to return my S7 tablet and repurchase another, as the price dropped drastically days after my purchase. Josh did the match and saved your team time and resources that didnt need to be squandered over a weird logistical oversight. He was super professional, tackled a related issue like a pro, and if I were running my own business I would totally try to convince him to jump ship. Like, starting by offering a minimum of 22$ an hour to join my team. Treat him right or someone else will, Best Buy.
Todays phone call was the last straw.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again, nothing was resolved.Its been 9 months since Ive been trying to get the refrigerator I purchased from Best Buy repaired. 9 MONTHS unbelievable!Best Buy sends me to Geek Squad, Geek Squad to Samsung., Samsung to Geek Squad and Best buy.I keep asking to speak to a supervisor and still waiting on the return phone call from a supervisor from the very first call I made to report the issue back in February of this year and all the other calls Ive made for the past 9 months. Geek squad keeps promising they will call back. But nothing ever happens.
Strong on home electronics. Mostly caters to home computer and electronics use. Reasonable prices. Do you homework on what you need and what you are going to use the item for. They will ship it to you. Specialty items check Amazon. Best Buy is great for if you need it now and want to touch it first.
Everybody that works here seemed more worried about stocking shelves than helping me, so I left. At least 10 employees blew right past me.
The young black employee with the pink shirt wasnt courteous with me at all, too bad I didnt get his name as he didnt have a nametag!!He criticized one of his coworkers in front of me, I let it go and proceeded to simply ask him a few questions about electronics and he huffed and puffed - showing visible signs of frustration. He couldnt even hide it, I dont know what his problem is but Best Buy needs to hire more competent people! I walked out of the store and headed to Orland instead!
This particular Best Buy, in Tinley Park off 191st is Amazing!! The young man @ the front door was such a doll in getting me help with a TV exchange.Then, dealing with Chris in the TV Dept, Justin in Customer Service and Josh, Customer Service Mgr....their knowledge & professionalism were second to none.Thank you Best Buy for such a WONDERFUL CUSTOMER BASED EXPERIENCE, but most importantly the HIRE of these THREE MEN!!
Confusing place to shop. It took a while to find someone to assist and explain some things. When we did things went rather smoothly.
This is my favorite best buy location with wonderfully educated salespeople. I just bought a high end laptop here and was very pleased with the laptop supervisors advice, Mr. Michael Coffey. I have bought an amazing TV, laundry appliances, Ring doorbell, and other computers here. Im very happy with this location!
I have to say this was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had. I didnt have to hunt for help and the associates were pleasant and helpful. Would surely visit again.

Greeters are always very friendly and ensure to point you in the right direction. Customer service is very quick to get you checked out in a timely manner. Stock is unpredictable but thats definitely not at fault of the store with everything going on the past year.
Ive gone on 2 separate occasions to buy different appliances & both were positive experiences. The salesmen were nice, not pushy. Focused on listening to the customer, instead of aiming for a big commission. Preston was the best!
Always clean, even when busy, not too hard to find help. We usually find what we want, are helped with our questions, and leave with a good product at a good price. We always go here for our electronic needs. Great store, in Tinley Park!

He never rushed me or tried to get me to buy unnecessary items. He located the MacBook for me and checked me out so I could be on my way. I know for me going to make a big purchase can be overwhelming and sometimes you feel rushed. That was not the case today. MICHAEL!!! Thank you!!!!!! You helped me find the right Apple Watch and took all the time to explain everything to me!!! I spoke with the manager before I left and I’ll do the survey as well but for those looking to make any type of purchase and you want to feel valued.... come to Best Buy in Tinley Park!

The worst experience ever, except for the last time I was there. I would have given it no stars but it wouldnt let me write a review without one. Ive been shopping at Tinley Best Buy since they opened, and in the last two years they have gone to sh!t. Worst employees ever especially the management. I will NEVER go back again.
I was treated VERY Bad at the Tinley Park Best Buy store, by the Manager Josh! I do feel I was mistreated, based on my Brown skin. This is a ongoing problem at this location. I am a 54 year old woman. I asked for a return of items I paid cash for. The total was over $1000. Josh said, we dont give cash returns to over $500. He said, we will mail you a check. I said, I dont want a mailed check. I paid cash, and thats what I want back. Josh started getting very rude and speaking very harsh to me. I said, well let me return one item. Josh said No because, you are going to try to return the rest of the items at another store. Then he started yelling at me like I was a kid and degrading me. I told my friend, he was treating me bad because of my Brown skin. Then Josh really started yelling at me. I was able to get him to return a less expensive item. Then I went to another Best buy and they returned the other items with no problem. I called customer service and they said the cash limit was $600 and not $500. Every time people of my of my color come to this store, many of us, is miss treated. Ive had many bad experiences like this happened to me at this store. I tried to call the next day, to report the incident to maybe a General manager but the store voicemail say, they are not answering any phone calls. I went home and cried about this situation. If how bad I was treated. Im a grandmother. I pay for everything I want in life. I didnt deserve how mean he spoke to me. It was so bad.
Looking for px625 batteries and IBM microdrive card reader, both obsolete old tech devices. they didnt have them, sounds like a deep google search, but computer and geek squad staff very helpful.
Pleasant, helpful and professional! Went in to purchase a new TV and recycle old TV and had a very no-hassle and no-pressure buying experience. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Wasted our time because they dont know how to do their jobs! According to the manager here the best buy website is illegal since I was easily able to do on there what I had gone to the store to do (upgrade my phone) and they wouldnt let me!
Got a far as 3 ft in the door, when I got Customer Service, looking for a replacement battery for my laptop. I did a turn around, to go out the door, BECAUSE they no longer sell them in the store, But they shared with me a local place to get what I needed. Thanks Guys.

Never anybody available to answer from the store when you call. They always transfer you to a rep in another country for help and NOTHING gets done. I have learned my lesson and will be taking my business elsewhere.
Not happy with Best Buy and really any other Brick and Mortar store anymore. I want to look at and examine items to see if I like it. Most things are online purchases only. Go back to hands on shopping. Have more items in store. Best Buy did not have any of the things I wanted in store. Everything was online only.
Just purchased a phone from here. The experience was phenomenal. I had an easy transaction with the associates, they were down to earth and quite amusing. I will be back to purchase a television.

I went on a Saturday morning at 11am with intent to buy a laptop. There was only 1 person in the department and I waited, waited and waited. I left the store and told the person at the door that they missed a sale. I ended up buying the laptop at another retailer that could customize the laptop with memory, storage and processor, screen display, etc. I found out that Best Buy cant do that!

Nice store. Clean, stocked and signs let you know where things are. Ample parking. There is ALOT of staff. And most (MOST) will approach you and say “are you looking for anything / may I help” but not everyone. I remember seeing a group of Best Buy staff in a group (4) and talking and not offering to help after making eye contact with us.The checkout lane was a bit confusing, maybe some rope to make a designated line would help instead of just a sign.

Dont bother asking the Microsoft guy anything, hell act annoyed that you pulled him away from browsing on his phone, and doesnt know basic stuff like what Surface hdmi dongle is or located.

Listen to your store customers as much and as often as you can.Best Buy requires electronics returns or exchanges to be accomplished within 2 weeks.Its a 20 mile drive one way and takes approximately 28 to 35 minutes to make the drive between the two cities.I gave my sales..., boy - my phone type and model stats: Samsung Galaxy (Android) Note 10 Plus. He gave me the requested Otter Box case.But not the one for a Plus.So I had to go back and get the right one a few days later.An annoying and unnecessary trip and waste of an hour. Most of my shopping instances where I need a specific item for a specific thing - I order from Amazon Prime. The microprocessor chip hears me or reads me and steers me to the correct choice(s). I pick it, they ship it. No driving, no fuel, & no time gets wasted. Plus it can be had for cheaper from Amazon.Take proper care of your customers.. pride in your job and yourself.Its nice at times to hold in our hands, and see with our eyes what we want and need. Evaluate it. Compare one to another.Your job is to make sure the choice is right and will fit. Its not that hard. Can you help me?? Sure. But will you.

Always have what I’m looking for. The people who work here are always helpful. They do a good job practicing social distancing and using PPE. It’s never crowded here when I come. They also have curbside pickup.
Whoever the guy was that was working customer service wanted to make sure that everybody in the store knew that I was in the wrong line and still didnt help me.
I love the products they show, both breadth and quality if youre looking for it. Their return policies are lenient too. Most of the folks working there are friendly and helpful. They did goof up the curbside service since they advertised it but more or less stopped doing it without telling the customer to enter. I sat waiting a few times. Some if the managers are excellent. Could improve overall but not by too much.
I absolutely love shopping at this Best Buy! A young lady assisted me, should have gotten her name, and caused me to prettty much find what I wanted right away. I was able to get in and out in less than 15 minutes, which was wonderful! The store is well organized, there is ample free parking, and restroom facilities. This is one of my favorite places to shop.
Worst curbside pickup of all time. Took forever to fill and receive the order. All I ordered was thermal paste cuz they said it would be fast and easy. I could have walked in there and got it off the shelf 1000 times faster than they took to get it for me.

First, I’m an elite plus two times over. Simple stuff like answering the phone, they are terrible at answering the phone. On hold over and hour and now nearing close time and still haven’t answered the phone. Secondly, they suppose to sent someone to pick up my washing machine and a “No Show” Lastly, they canceled my projector with no refund. Every time I call I get a reference number and they will claim they are looking into it. It’s time to go to One of the other tech stores.

This place is ridiculous, I bought 2 tvs online and didnt get a receipt when I picked them up. I have tried calling repeatedly to have receipt emailed but no one ever answers the phone. Its just constant obnoxious music.

Curbside pickup is usually really quick. My last time there, the pickup was slow. Might have been a little short staffed. But it still was a pleasant experience. Got spoiled with the fast pickup line. 😁

A little pricey compared to other electronic stores
I came close to closing to buy a laptop quickly. I knew the exact model that I wanted. When I walked in they quickly stopped me. I explained why I was there and they explained that you now had to have an appointment in order to buy a computer.I understand social distancing, but now having to sit with a salesperson so that they can try to upsell me without any other option is not acceptable.
Wish I could give it more for the reason they had what I needed but couldnt because the employee that they sent to help me didnt help me more like had a attitude like they were bothered by i guess that what we got to deal with now a days..
There are at least 5 Best Buy locations closer to my house, but Ill drive the 120 blocks to this one for the customer service. The Reps at this location actually seem trained and knowledgeable of the products in their department, and appear eager to educate a customer on features and take time to find the right product to fit their needs.
