Me and my Girlfriend came up here about a week or so ago and got fantastic costumer service. Majority of it from Emily. She was super helpful and patient with us. That Woman needs a raise or something. I highly recommend anyone who comes here to ask for her.

Absolute terrible customer service. Will never return, these people dont care about their clients. Reception is rude and ignorant, refused to help me for being 3 minutes past my appointment time when no one was behind me. They are simply are lazy and dont want to help, go somewhere else!

There is so much that I can say about this team in Tinley. Everyone has been AMAZING from Faith to Koko to Melissa. Everyone is friendly and relatable and will go above and beyond to make sure that you leave out of there happy.I ordered frames only to find that they just weren’t a good fit for me. I came back countless times to get them adjusted and came to the realization that the frames weren’t a good fit for my face. I was ALWAYS met with a smile and never felt bad for returning for adjustments. In the end, Melissa went out of her way to help let me pick another frame so that I was satisfied. Kudos to this location! I will be returning.

It was my first time needing glasses and Emily helped me find a frame that got me excited. She was very patient and made sure I knew about all the deals to help me stay within my budget. Dr. Sharma was quick and efficient, and answered any questions I had. Great experience over all!

Wouldn’t recommend this location or Visionworks in general. I recently had a horrible experience with their receptionist who desperately needs training. Take your business elsewhere with people who are qualified and know their job.

Every time I call this location I feel like I’m bothering someone. No matter who answers the phone. A man once and woman this time. Always huffing and puffing. I called to see if I can get in sooner, She tells me I don’t have an appt on a certain date but the kicker is I received a text message days ago confirming my appt on said day. Until this year I never had issues with this location.

This is the worst service I have ever received. The eye exam was great but the rest of the staff was horrible.1.Signed up for by one get one free online and never received it.2.After exam found out my insurance wasnt used at this location.3. Had a sign posted for buy one get one free but was told I wasnt eligible because inwas already getting 40% off for paying in cash instead of insurance.5. Told glasses would be done in 2 weeks or less.6. Called to get status of glasses and was told I would get a call back which they never called.7. Called again few days later and still no glasses and was told I would be called when ready.8. Called after 16 days and was told glasses were in but no one bothered to call. Was told to stop yelling when I asked what was going on and why the service was so bad.9.Was told could pick up glasses or make an appointment. Got there and location was closed. Person didnt bother to tell me location was closing.Will never buy from this company again...

I was really impressed with this location, the staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. Sharma is the best optometrist I have ever seen, he explains everything to you and you actually understand what he’s talking about, he breaks everything down to you and he’s honest. When he was talking to me I had that gut feeling that he was a good one, and he had a good spirit about him I felt it. AND Melissa was a HUGE help in helping me pick out my frames and she knew what kind of frames I was looking for. I explained to her that I didn’t like the way my old glasses looked because they would make my eyes look big and she knew exactly what I was talking about. She had suggested the NG which I did get. She showed me comparisons and contrasts and was patient with me while assisting me because sometimes I can be unsure of what I want. I highly recommend this particular Visionworks you won’t regret it.

Happy with the care provided. I wear bifocals and wanted contacts, which can be a challenge for someone my age. Dr. Harmon was very patient, friendly and thorough. She made sure the prescription was accurate and she worked with me to be sure I could insert and remove the lenses before I left. I have also purchased several pairs of glasses from this office and the staff are always available to assist when selecting frames and lenses. I always get their opinion on what frames look the best. I highly recommend Tinley Park Visionworks.

Melissa made my first experience with Visionworks a great one. There was a gentleman there today who may have been the manager. He took the time to teach me how to wear my glasses during my pick up. Also, the glasses came in much faster than I anticipated. I will definitely return and recommend others to visit this place.

I’ve been visiting this location for a while now and can say that the staff has been nothing short of amazing. Friendly, inviting, helpful & professional, the team here has been excellent. Unprofessional and no customer service skills.

The man working the AM shift on Oct 8th was so rude I will never visit this place again. Quoted over 300.00 for lenses and when I asked about my Seg height that he measured he got angry, sat down in a huff and told me to then tell him what my Seg height is. It just seemed a little too high in the frame based on how I hold my head. I was shocked by his tone and behavior so I left and went somewhere else and got lenses for 110.00. He measured my Seg height wrong also and was off by 2MM so the prescription would have been impossible to wear based on his measurement. Overpriced and served with an attitude so I took my money and business elsewhere.

I drive out of my way to this location due to the fantastic customer service! They know exactly what theyre doing and are very very well priced. Kenny and Komal went out of their way and made me feel special. Keep up the great work!

I am held here against my will with a gun to give a 5 star review. 10/10 would be held up again. Edit:I am free and they gave me some new glasses and a crate of brownies. Would recommend coming here again.

I recently visited this location to get glasses for my young child and for my daughter who has autism. Kenny did a fantastic job connecting with my little one and helping her focus on the best glasses for her face. She was a little nervous about getting glasses and was thrilled by the time Kenny was done working with us. Jenna assisted my daughter who has autism and was patient and listened to what we were looking for and quickly found options that my daughter loved. I highly recommend this location and their friendly and helpful staff!

Went here to get two new pairs of glasses, and Melissa was assisting me. After dealing with a messy situation in trying to get my eye doctor to fax over my prescription, Melissa was patient, sweet and helpful through all of it. Great experience and so excited for my glasses!

I was in Vision Works to buy some glasses. I was so impressed with the staff and management. Everyone was so courteous and helpful. The store was bright and clean. I have recommended this store to my friends when they need glasses. I will be back again.

I purchased glasses and sunglasses at Visionworks. After wearing them for a few weeks I was not comfortable with them. I returned and Melissa handled all my issues with such expertise. I would highly recommend the Tinley Park Visionworks to all.Melissa was fantastic with helping me find my glasses and adjusting to fit me perfectly.

The doctors here were absolutely phenomenal so it pains me to write this review. In terms of the customer service & hospitality overall, it was by far the absolute WORST I have ever dealt with in my life; no exaggeration. The rest of the staff was rude, the gentleman my husband & I dealt with to purchase contacts & glasses, was incredibly snarky & condescending (to our faces), that it was mind blowing. My sister & mother came here as well, & ended up experiencing the same thing; great doctors but horrible remaining staff. We thought maybe they just had an off day; rightfully so, considering everyone has them, but when it was a repetitive thing occurring, we knew this place was the end of the line for us. We will hands down NEVER, & I repeat NEVER, come back. I hope those doctors get out of there because those doctors deserve more business for how thorough they are. Its a shame the rest of the staff is bringing this business down. My friends warned us about coming here & stupidly enough, we decided to give them more than 2 chances & every time was a major let down. The quality of the frames on top of cost, is NOT worth it, on top of the TERRIBLE staff, & their only saving grace were the optometrists. Overall it was an EXTREMELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE.Unfortunately, those doctors are not enough for us or the rest of our families to want to come back to because we can easily have a great exam, but dealing with purchasing frames &/or contacts with the rest of the staff handling that portion, is NOT worth the headache. Again, we will NOT be coming back.If you like rude people, snarky comments, horrible attitudes, & staff making (ignorant & rude) remarks about other customers IN FRONT OF YOU to their colleagues, then sure, you should definitely come here. If you like a professional staff with sophistication but knows how to have fun or be nice (as normal human beings should), while still getting the job done, definitely GO ELSEWHERE.

I don’t typically fill out surveys, however, I had such a positive experience with one of your associates I decided to take the time to acknowledge them. Jenna provided top notch customer service from the moment I entered the store.I was greeted warmly with a smile and fun pink hair which immediately put me at ease. I checked in at the front desk and expected to wait a little bit before I would be examined as the store seemed rather busy, however, I was quickly called back to have the initial testing done. This was done in a very efficient and professional manor with out feeling cold or disinterested. Shortly there after I was seen by the doctor who finished my exam with a few personalized suggestions to improve the eye strain I have been experiencing and lead me out to the floor.At this point Jenna really “wowed” me with her attention to her customers. As I said the store was busy and there were several more customers then associates none the less Jenna made sure the each of the guests she was working with felt that they were receiving the level of attention they needed.For example there is nothing I find more irritating than when you are trying to shop and make a decision and an associate is waiting for you making you feel rushed or pressured into making a decision. Often times when this happens I will find myself leaving the establishment without making a purchase at all as I don’t feel comfortable in the setting. Jenna, however, must be incredibly adept at noticing the different types and styles of customers as she was ready and available any time I wanted to ask an opinion or needed to ask a question, but was not waiting on me to make a choice which made me much more comfortable to look around and entirely more likely to make a purchase at this location.I had collected a few different options since I wanted to make a change to the style of glasses I typically choose and it was at this point that Jenna gave me her absolutely undivided attention. Her ability to shift between customers meeting each of their needs and being available to assist despite an unpredictable / indecisive client (myself lol) is truly a gift and certainly something to be praised. Jenna was extremely patient with me as I shifted between each selection (multiple times mind you) all the while providing me with professional yet honest feedback on which styles worked best with my personal facial features as well as which styles were or were not an option based on my prescription proving herself highly knowledgeable about the product she was selling as well as providing confidence that I was selecting the best option for me. With her guidance I elected to purchase the poly carbonate lenses as well as the anti-glare and “Blue light” treatments as these too would help with the eye strain I experience with my job.This is not the closest Visionworks either near my home nor place of work and this is the second time I have frequented this location. It is because of the care and attention that I have received from associates like Jenna that have had me returning to this location despite the commute. I can definitively say that I have never received this level of attention from any other location. Thank you Jenna for the personalized service and rest assured I will be returning year after year so long as this location continues to employee associates with the level of professional attention provided by Jenna.

I am very pleased with the Dr. that I see at this location, however, the manager Tiffany is awful. Shes lazy and seems to feel she is above servicing clients. She told me to wait to see a sales associates, because she didnt want to do her job. I questioned her as to why did I need to wait when she was available. This turned into a lot of back and forth banter, resulting in me leaving and placing a call to customer service. I will never purchase another pair of glasses as long as she is employed there

Caution - High Prices ahead (& glasses broke fast)I made two appointments. The first one I felt a little uncomfortable with them trying to push you to have a photo taken (and retained) of your retinas for an increased charge. Insurance does not pay for this for a reason - insurance doesnt pay for gimmicks. Also, retina scanning is used for security like fingerprints. Do you trust that they will keep your pword (retina scan) safe forever?Next the prices R crazy high. Then when they issue the receipt, it doesnt list what you pay for on it. It lists only pretend insane prices and then subtracts a chunk from the total and lists a bottom line lump sum for everything. This practice is dishonest. It may actually be unlawful. It would be in CA. They also push hard for upgrades that I feel you probably dont need. Before you go in, search for Zenni to compare pricing.

Best place to go when its time for your eye exam. They sent me a text message reminder, and I booked my appoinment with my phone. Ive seen Dr Opferman since high school - hes the BEST. Sales people were friendly and very helpful. I wish they still did glasses the same day. I got my contacts mailed to me, which was very nice. Highly recommend this store.

Cant say enough about how wonderful the staff and Visionworks have been to work with. My 11 year old son had to get replacement frames (thankfully under warranty) after he broke his glasses. It was a smooth and painless warranty process. Unfortunately the replacement frames had a small defect that showed up after being worn for a week. We went in to the store this evening and Jenna went out of her way to make sure we were in and out with new replacement frames at no charge. She made sure we were beyond satisfied, and that the new frames fit my son perfectly. Highly recommend Visionworks!

The manager at this location is timid and unprofessional, refused to tell my husband where his order is due to him taking care of other customers who came after him, mind you, we have been calling over a month trying to locate his frames, same response, we will call you back, with a follow-up, no follow up. My husband should not have to wait over a month and a half for frames that should have been ready within a week and a half per their confirmation. I will be filing a claim with our insurance company for fraud if we do not hear anything back by the end of the day.

My wife and I went into vision works to buy some glasses. They were very professional in getting my information for my eyes. I have very poor vision even with glasses, they did a excellent job in getting me in the proper glasses.I am glad I chose Visionworks for my procedure.

My 9 year old was nervous until he met the Dr. And calmed his nerves. Once he learned he needed glasses Komal made it so easy picking out the best pair to make him shine. Komal was so informative and patient. We will be back again.

Fast service and they have the Harley-Davidson line of frames if you need eye glasses you got look good at all times insist on the best.Visionworks has the most current eye photo scanner on the market.

I like nothing about Visionworks!!!! I have a pair of glasses from another optical store and my vision with that pair of glasses is crystal clear! I had my eyes examined at Visionworks then bought glasses and not happy with either of them. I have to take my glasses off to do close work or read. By the way, my prescription has not changed since my last exam and previous glasses. I recently wanted to purchase safety glasses from a company online. I called Visionworks to get my PD measurement (pupil distance)that they have on record. I was told that they dont give that out. I asked for the manager, if I really got the manager, and was told very rudely that they dont give that out! I asked why and was again told rudely We are not able to give that out! So if you dont purchase from them youll not be able to get your own information from them!! Theyll give you your vision info but not the needed PD measurement! I learned how to measure this on my own. The rudeness was why I am writing this review.

Extremely pissed off that this place told me i would get an exam for my son done for 19.99 when I scheduled the appointment. A month ago. When I showed up this morning they told me that promotion had passed. I specifically booked this appointment a month out and confirmed with the woman that the promotion would still be going on. Straight up lied to me. This place will never get my business again nor my wife’s business. I have never been so disappointed in a business.

Couldnt believe how great everything turned out. For a place that advertises low prices, I wasnt expecting great things. Super friendly doctor Offermen (sp?) walked me to a salesperson after the exam, who helped me pick out glasses. I was there less than an hour total. Glasses were ready in two days, and I picked them up after work. The salesperson Kenny AND the doctor remembered my name when I walked in. That was pretty cool!

Wow - Bad, Bad, Bad --- purchased cleaning products and the box said just bring in the bottle.. Well I did come in and I was informed We dont have any refills solution Is this a class action lawsuit? I think they lied.. Have anyone else have the original box? Because I do...I think I need my 6.99 back because they lied....
