I would not recommend using this storage facility. My review is based on numerous issues. To start, I was putting stuff in my unit and noticed buckets in the hallway. I asked what was going on and only when I asked I was told there was a leak in the roof. I had to take everything out of my unit and line it with tarps. Everytime you call there you have to wait for the one and only worker there to call you back. That can take hours. When it came to checking out, I was charged the full monthly amount for only using the unit for 10 days. I only got part of my money back. I got completely ripped off. To be exact, I was charged $192 for 10 days of using a 10x10 unit. I would not recommend this facility to anyone

Would highly recommend. Super easy to rent online, efficient staff, and incredibly well maintained physical spaces. I only used it for a short time due to some remodeling, but I would definitely rent from Extra Space again if I needed more storage.

I applied for a unit online and the process was simple and streamlined. Super quick and easy to sign up and move in! Once I paid for the unit I got a call from Debbie who walked me through the entire process and ensured that I had all of the information that I needed. She was very nice and full of personality! I am very happy with my decision to store my extra stuff with Extra Space!

Deb Dugan at the Tinley Park WALKED me through the entire process LONG DISTANCE! absolutely amazing...moving forward September 2021, and our father is gone and we need to close the storage, and Deb in Tinley Park, is once again there to help, this time she worked with her Houston partner near me Ali Hassan who helped me ...theres a saying PROPER PLANNING PREVENTS DELAY, FAILURE TO PLAN WONT PREVENT ME FROM GETTING PIST...well, Deb never reacted upset, unprofessional, instead she MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS THE ONLY CLIENT SHE HAD EVEN THOUGH I didnt properly plan...my family and I are so grateful !Jonnita Pleasant

Definitely good customer service and very clean! But... They are pricey for such a small storage. Ive had my unit for like 3 or 4 months and they just upped my price by $20.50 making my small unit now $161.50 a month as of August 😳

I had a wonderful experience setting up an account with Extra Storage in Tinley. I didnt have to go in to see the unit, everything was explained very simply. Customer Service over the phone was good.

For a first timer i must say reserving a unit online was very easy. The owner Deb called to confirm my 5x10 unit. She asked reasonable questions, explained everything, told me what to expect, instructions on how to get to my unit and made wise suggestion that i can choose from to protect my stuff while stored. Deb peronality made my day as well as making me feel comfortable enough to know that my stuff will be in good hands. Thanks for allowing me to rent a stage unit!!!

We stopped at Public Storage shopping for a new storage unit. There was no one in the leasing office but there was another office next door. After waiting for 10 minutes I knocked on it and the employee came out and actually scolded me for knocking on the door. So, we headed up the road to extra space where Deb & Steve warmly greeted us at their beautiful storage facility. It was so much better than public storage in every way, clean and very secure. But the best thing about it was the attention to customer service, making us feel welcome, and explaining everything clearly!

The online contract was quick and easy. The location called about 30 minutes later to confirm and go over unit location and how to access. Awesome service!!!!

Extra Space is THE BEST storage facility in the U.S. Always clean, high security - unlike OTHER storage companies, there are functioning security cameras, alarms and features that actually protect your stuff. If any bad folks DO get into the building, they will find it near impossible to access any units. The staff, especially Deb, are always pleasant, knowledgeable and they go above and beyond to make sure your time here is successful, affordable and efficient. You have TRUE peace of mind when you leave pieces of your life here. Highly RECOMMEND!

Have rented from here for a few years. They have consistently raised my rental price EVERY 6 months by $10-22 per month!! This is UNFAIR to your loyal customers. They are known for doing bait and switch pricing. The office is often empty and locked DURING business hours because the manager is out to lunch or doing personal errands at any hour throughout the day (their car is gone from the small parking lot). So its very inconvenient and frustrating if youre coming from a long distance away and cant speak with any staff during posted office hours. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, THEY RAISE YOUR RENTAL COST EVERY 6 MONTHS!!
