Easy parking, quick in, quick out. Had the specialty appliance lamp I needed at a decent price, and the wood glue and bolts. Overall, quick and easy and in my hand.
I couldnt find what I needed and I couldnt find someone to help me find it. I left the store empty-handed. I went across the street to Lowes and had the exact opposite experience. Next time Ill just go to Lowes and save myself 15 minutes.
My boss and I went into the store today for some replacement nuts and bolts. Both Beez & David were friendly and very quick to help make sure we had the correct items. Thank you very much!
Walked in asked customer service where something was. They sent me to the wrong area. The paint lady was not friendly she was no help either. Went off to find what we were looking for ourselves. Found several kinds and wanted to speak with an employee saw about 3 or 4 as they walked by. I asked one employee to call someone from the dept no one came. I had to stop another who did offer his help and was knowledgeable. The people who claimed to be customer service need to be trained where items are in the store. Very bad experience. Train your employees.
Love this place. It has so much to offer for decorating and maintaining a home. Staff was nice and helpful, too. Had no trouble finding things.
Painful shopping at this store. You cannot get help from an employee to save your life. They will literally see you coming and intentionally disappear like Batman so they don’t have to. If you go to true value in lambertville they have intelligent helpful staff who’s job is to help you find whatever you need. It’s a night and day difference the 2 stores.
This location gave me the runaround on the Husky Tools lifetime, no questions asked warranty. I went to another Home Depot location and they did my warranty swap with... you know... no questions asked.
Employees are always very helpful though some of the items are online only it would seem. Still excellent service.
Had what I needed at a good price. did not receive any assistance on sales floor and used a self serve checkout. guess the days of customer service are in the past.
Easy to find what I needed and store was clean. Friendly and efficient employees at checkout.
Total waist of my evening. Waited 10 minutes with no help. Asked one worker for someone in Appliance, she is over there. I said not she or he is not. Then she got up and walked away. I go up to customer service, they page someone to meet me in Appliance. I wait another 7 minutes. No avail, so I start walk out we go to customer service again, ask again for her to page someone. Finally after 5 minutes, someone shows up. I asked for a Manager, they are not available, I asked why they are in a meeting. I asked who is taking his calls. No one. I then ask for a product and its availability, they give me a date, and then tell me I will either need to use my old 240 plug or buy a new one. Which amazed me you pay $1500 for a washer and there is no plug. Umm, then I walk out. Total incompetent workers tonight, as well an overall the poorest customer service I have experience in my life. And I have been involved working with the public for 32 years.
We have had a great experience, so far, with the carpet department. We have a next day appointment to measure, the other place said 3 weeks as they are going on vacation, ugh! The young man that waited on us was quick and knowledgeable.
Great selection. Prices not as good as they used to be.
Very nice and great sales, anything you want its there.
Nice flower choices. Employees are always very helpful. Even though they were out of an item I needed, the employee did all he could to try to find it. Several employees would always pass & ask if I need help whereas at Lowes theyll pass you straight. If I had a choice between Lowes & Home Depot I would definitely pic Home Depot because of their customer service.
Needed to quickly re-order paint for a home project and the Gentleman in the paint department was able to assist me with my order. He then transferred me to a nice lady at the ProDesk so I could pay. The entire process from start to finish was less than 7 minutes and the paint was made and ready for pickup by the time I got off the phone. What efficiency!!!! Both team members were extremely helpful and courteous! Great experience!
Wow I cant believe Im saying this but sometimes I go into Home Depot and its like dealing with the Three Stooges bam there it is
Had just what we wanted where they said it was. Self check out and loaded ourselves. In and out in 15 minutes
I couldnt find a screw and asked for some help, but no one could help me. The woman sitting at the desk for the hardware dept wouldnt even get up. Told me idk, there will be someone here in 30 that can help you. Took me another 15 minutes to find it on my own. I find it ridiculous that there was NO ONE that could help me, or the other 3 guys looking for things that they couldnt find, at NOON on a Thursday IN A HARDWARE STORE.
Ordered a new dishwasher from Home Depot, but received a unit with about half a gallon of water in it. I was expecting new and paid for new, not an open box or floor model. I submitted a review on their website tactfully describing the experience, but received an email a day later stating that my review violated the guidelines. In other words -- don’t complain – or your comments will be rejected. A business that disregards it’s customers, will one day have none. Bye.
Bought a Refrigerator which seemed like a great deal. It was a floor model that was on special. I should have known something wasnt right because for some reason it wasnt even plugged in even though all the other refrigerators on display were. Brought it home myself because they said this particular refrigerator was not eligible for delivery which seemed odd. Got it home and set it up. I let it sit for 24 hours like the salesman said to do so. Plugged it in and the freezer worked great but the refrigerator section didnt cool at all. Now I have a brand new refrigerator that has to be serviced. Service people didnt even come out and troubleshooted it over the phone saying that it is the fan motor and it would be a week before they can come out. Lesson learned. Dont buy a refrigerator unless it is actually operational before you bring it home. Very dissatisfied customer.
Dont buy a large appliance here! Delivery date moved with no warning, no customer service, no concern at all about anything further than taking the money for a refrigerator that may or may not show up. Awful customer service experience. They have lost a customer here.
Only issue i had was listening to a freaking hi lo back up the whole time I was there. Ended up giving me a headache. Other than that i never have any problems here or any other home Depot
Garden center very assemble, helpful, friendly employees. Good prices and choices
Good prices, clean store, tons of stuff in stock, friendly employees, my only complaint would be when I go to the store and Im trying to find something or have a question there never seems to be an employee around so the you have to walk several aisles to find one, gets very old, they should have some kind of light or chime in every aisle so they know there is a customer waiting for help, Im spending my hard earned money at your store and its not my job to find a sales associate!
Nick was a great help for me. I needed a valve in plumping. He gave me a lot of options. He finally found exactly what I needed. Basically he did a great job in saving me a lot of time in my work. Thank you for your help.
In and out. Thats what I like. Went in asked for what I needed, helpers were available and checked out. Everyone was helpful and knowledgable.
Went in for a leaf vacuum. The model I wanted is not sold at this store, but I able to buy another brand. The employees who helped me were kind and helpful and also had some good advice to help me out with a different problem.
Unbelievable. Theyve got a brand now called broyhill. Its nice
They had what I needed and were helpful in finding it
Although I was very excited to have new carpet installed in my home, the process was completely disappointing. The carpet was cut incorrectly and I had to wait almost two weeks for the job to be completed. We had exposed tack strips throughout the house and my daughter had to sleep on sub-flooring with exposed tack strips.A sharp carpet razor was also left in my daughters closet. Not to mention I have a one-year-old that could not be upstairs at all. The project started before Christmas and because it was not completed, I had to cancel holiday events at my home. All of our upstairs furniture was moved downstairs and had to stay that way until they finished the job. Upon explaining how disappointed I was I was assured that everything would be taken care of. Boy was I wrong. All of the promises quickly disappeared once the job was complete. I was going to have them do my kitchen next but I will be shopping elsewhere for sure.
Decent place, not much selection in the gardening area but other than that they have some hard to find items?
Well we had the unfortunate experience of a woman panhandling in the store. Reported to clerks. They should be escorted out. Patrons should not have people begging for money. But the store over all was great on Lewis /Alexis.
Had an unhappy experience with one of the self checkout employees (I usually have no problems and fly through the self checkout without being bothered which is why I go through the self checkout: its quick and you dont have to interact unless you need and ASK for help or if you seriously struggle with something for a long while)However, I had this lady (probably in 40s to 50s) today who just kept bothering me the entire process. I was buying sweeping compound for an oil spill at work. I scanned some barcode sticker on the bag (it was the wrong one so it gave me an error) and then I found the actual one, but as I did she came over and as I was about to scan she told me the one I was about to scan was the wrong one again as she was looking where I was about to scan. It worked so she just kind of said oh and I went to scan my second bag and she was still hanging around watching me do it. It doesnt work after the first try and she tells me Im holding it too close so she takes it out of my hand (I have never once asked for any of this help or assistance this entire time or said a word but she just forced herself into it assuming I need help without asking and then taking the scanner out of my hand) and she scans it for me and THEN walks away.I then go to pay and put in the PO number. Its for the general shop so I call my boss for what to put it under, she tells me (this time from across the self checkout area) that I can just put in nothing and I was on the phone to see what to put down. I tell her I already tried putting in nothing but it gave me the error and that I called my boss to get the PO he wants me to put down and she tells me oh did he tell you to break it (referring to the checkout machine I guess??) Which she said in a tone that felt rudish but it was very strange (but she had a general attitude and tone the whole time like I didnt know what I was doing / she just had this way of speaking that rubbed me the wrong way but that parts just personal I guess). she went away for the moment and I finally got the receipt for that purchase. She sees I have an item still on the counter and comes over and mentions it and I tell her Im buying it with my own card / for personal use (not using the companies business card). She picks it up and is looking at it and asks me what it is so I tell her its a car phone mount and shes just like oh, looks at it a bit more, and then finally puts it down and walks away and I can finish checking out.I know some of it may just be personal issues but if Im at the self checkout I would prefer to be left alone and checkout myself and if I cant figure out something I will ask for help or if Im struggling for a long while THEN it may be ok to step in and ASK if I need assistance instead of forcefully taking control. I didnt appreciate the tone, forcefulness, saying Im doing it wrong, or assuming things about if I didnt need a PO after I got off a phone call (I couldve been calling to get the actual PO, although I did put down shop as the PO so I basically did). She ended up slowing down the checkout process (especially when she picked up and was looking at the last thing I needed to scan) it was a very sour experience that kind of irritated me and made me real snappy and quick with my responses (but I never said anything rude to her I just ended up talking really fast when she asked me those questions at the end) and I was ready to leave the store as fast as possible.Aside from this self checkout employee, I usually have no problems and Im in and out in minutes going through the self checkout. The employees dont bother or pester customers unless they look lost or if I actually ask them if they know where something is that I cant find. So overall its usually a good peaceful, quick experience. I just happened to hit a sour apple today.
Great store..great employees, always helpful..keep up the good work!
Clean store friendly helpful staff.
Worst service from the Store Managers Kim, Eric and the EOS Laurie. No call backs.... no resolution. Store blames installers (CFI). Installers blame the store and 3 months later still no resolution...I have shredding carpet and NO ONE CARES. #HDCARES....SO NOT TRUE!
Tool rental was quick and simple. Associate was helpful as well.
Always have what we need.
Had to wait forever for appliances. Mostly because of LG. When problems did come up, Home Depot did eventually get things fixed up and all is good now. They need to deliver their own appliances and not contract delivery to a third party company.
We bought carpet, that process was a nightmare. Home Depot’s third party installers messed the seem up. Home Depot says it’s not their fault, the third party installers say it’s not their fault, had a third party inspector in to say it was the installers fault. Home Depot won’t call us back, the third party installers won’t call us back. Every manager at the Home Depot on Alexis road in Toledo Ohio is incompetent. Never again will I ever shop There.
Always find what I need .
The equipment we bought is great! But the service? From the 6 or 7 people that we asked for help or directions that were between semi cordial to flat out rude, and Not @ all helpful. The 1 that sticks out in my mind most was when i asked where the extension cords were, while standing about 10ft from the electronics, and OBVIOUSLY just came from there, I got Um back in electronics. Thats it. And the attitude of the woman in contractor check out, which is where we went as the only non commercial lanes open were self check out, was that of an annoyed parent dealing w her unruly children as she juggles the scanner and the dam cell phone threw the entire 10min check out EVENT! I mean seriously it seemed a LOT like half of your staff, or @ least EVERY SINGLE PERSON we talked to really didnt care if they had a job or not. Most of them were dismissable, but like 3 of the 7 were worth complaining about, if I planned on coming back, but if i do, it wont b the Lewis location, i can promise that. And w Lowes n Menards right here, well.....
The staff was super friendly in the mower area today but you do not carry my mower blade in stock .... Having a 18in universal blade might be nice ..... Even though you dont have my blade in stock I can order it online and the fact that the lady was extremely helpful is the only reason why I left not upset.
Cash is american currency. Open all checkouts to cash not card only
NEVER go through Home Depot contractors for ANY home improvements. You can find way better places then HD. I paid for a flooring install 4 MONTHS ago and they’re “contractors “ have rescheduled THREE times due to their workers being sick. GET IT TOGETHER. There are way better family oriented businesses out here that will defeat Home Depot. Never again will I trust Home Depot. All they did was make excuses but they took my money without a problem. Never again
Too many old (& young) lazy cranky ppl work here. Shame. If you dont want to assist then just say that, but dont lie & say HD didnt have the product only for me to find stacks of it. I will be spending my $ w/ Lowes from now on.
Tired of going to this home depot when the new hires are to busy hitting on each other then to help customers will it ever end. Store has what I need but most of the employees are not motivated to help .
The gentlemen Dave was a great help much appritiated
Very nice staff ! Walked in without a mask cause I hate the mask thing and everyone was extremely polite and helpful and didnt harass me for not wearing a mask .
In electrical the older guy that helped me is very knowledgeable and helpful! However they did not some wire ends I was looking for. People here seem very helpful!
Always have what I need much more than Menards or Lowes.
They wasnt able to order a tub, they didnt have it in stock, gave no reasoning on why it couldnt be ordered so to me false advertisements to have a display that cant be offered. Menards ordered it just fine. Then we went back for pool paint.... that could not be ordered either, I wont be going back anytime soon.
Great stuff clean nice people good prices where a masks
Had to make a return/ exchange. They made it simple and painless. Customer service was fantastic.
Friendly staff, good service
Home Depot on Alexis and Lewis in Toledo has always generally been a great location, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff, fair prices, and everything Ive ever needed. As a business owner, its good to know they have my back. I bought a 16 aluminum Werner ladder today for $30 cheaper than an aluminum 6 Werner from Sherwin-Williams.
Good food good service. The location is great
Service could be better Im from the south most of the home depots Ive gone in are in Georgia and services number one priority for those guys I went in and got more than I expected to get came to the register with two packs of wood to burn for our bonfire ask the attendee at the self checkout if he would be kind enough to grab me a cart as I had gathered more than what I needed and I was trying to check out he directed me to the opposite side of the store where the carts would be located as if I asked him for directions to the carts so I graciously left my belongings at the register walked past him towards the exit where there just so happened to be a cart probably 10 ft away from where he was standing I was a bit disappointed😒. funny thing after he directed me to where the carts were on the opposite side of the store I said okay that means no thank you and he did not respond what can I say millennials need work to. Found everything I needed no problem though store was clean.
Always find what I am looking for
Unfortunately we ordered appliances online from Home Depot. Refrigerator and microwave were delivered damaged. Non working. In calling GE they are unable to deliver new for 2 to 3 weeks. Going to Home Depot to see if they can help was unsuccessful. The girl at service desk did everything she could to help. Thank you Ryan!!The manager would not even come speak to us. So now we know that Home Depot does not work with the online ordering. We just needed a refrigerator today. We now have none. And they wont pick up non working appliances for 2 weeks. Bad for business. But promote the front desk girl!!!
Everything was fine until the power went out. Scary
Went looking for outside furniture. They had a very limited selection. Employees were some what helpful.
Got a key made pretty quickly
They had what I wanted
Convenient nice people who work there
Its a great place to visit I really enjoy shopping there start the employees are friendly and respectful and thats the type attitude make anyone feel welcome
Good customer service.
Rented a plumbing snake worked greatIt was in excellent condition and saved me a lot of money by not having to have a plumber come in and do it. Easy way to rent quality equipment.
The workers were friendly but the manager was extremely rude & hostile over a simple question. It was the worst I have ever been treated by an employee of a business. Made me feel like a criminal and even had a worker follow me out after asking if I could use my instore credit without my ID. I told her I would never come back & she happily said “that’s it totally fine with me”. Unbelievable.
My go to place its always good here
Had to hunt down an employee. Once I got help this young man was very helpful. I had wood cut. He offered to help me out.
Very very rude!! Went to get some wood and the guy who was working gave us attitude about cutting it for us and after he was done he shoved it at us and walked away..... he was giving us dirty looks the whole time. The nicer we were the more rude he got with us. I will NEVER shop here again. I wish I could give 0 starts
☆☆☆☆☆E X C E L L E N T BUSINESS..VERY KNOWLEDGE PEOPLE..HAVE NOW MADE IT(after a while of testing of course, Our usual procedure since 1976, people, places, & things)ONE OF OUR OLD SCHOOL TYPE PLACES TO GET THINGS DONE😃😉.
Wanted to order grill off the website, however it wouldnt let me order on the website because they dont have debit card option, only have PayPal and credit card. 🙄
No snow shovels, but the staff was helpful and what I did buy was reasonably priced.
I went there to get a yellow jacket wasp trap that they were supposed to have, according to their website. They had a different one that wasnt rated as highly (& only had 2, which another customer wanted but I was there first so I got 1) I did get help getting it & he looked for more which was good. Now I will wait & see if it works.
Always great. You cant go wrong here.
Got delivered the wrong item. They want me to drive 40 mins to return the wrong item they delivered to the store return it and order a new one to be delivered again in two weeks... I hired two guys to come instal my vanity and mirror just to have to pay them for their time and have them go home. I was put on hold for over an hour at their store until finally they said they’re busy and would have to call me back. Home Depot cost me my time, $140 for the men I had to pay and $1,500+ for a wrong mirror and vanity which then I found on amazon for half the price. I’ve literally never left a bad review but wow.... I am just so disappointed you can’t fix your mistakes.
Always have what I need for a reasonable price
I love home depot it relax me from all day problem
I was in search of a electric jacket by Milwaukee young man by the name of Kenny was so very helpful and obtaining the very last one in the size and color I wanted thank you so much for a wonderful product and a enjoyable experience with your sales associate Kenny :-)
I found what I was looking for the experience was good
I dont like constantly being asked how Im doing or if I need help. There was always the right balance here. However, when I went to get my cordless cellular shades cut, there was nobody to help me. When I finally found someone, I was told there were only 2 people who could cut them down to size. One person was on lunch, and the other was helping another customer. That was understandable, but after waiting 15 minutes, this older lady, Sara, who was supposed to help me walks over and helps this other lady first. Understandable, again, because she didnt know who was first, and I didnt say anything. I made it very clear, while they were talking, that I needed help. When finished with the first customer, Sara walks right past me to a customer that just walked down the isle. Towards the end of helping the other customer, I interjected.Me: Excuse me, would you be able to cut these for me?Sara: What?Me: I showed her Some shades?..Sara: No. We cant cut the cordless shades. I can order some for you, but theyll be very expensive.Me: No thanks. Ill just take these (I already paid for them)Clearly she doesnt know what shes talking about. The shades were from Home Depots brand of cut to size shades. (See pictures)It was very frustrating after having to wait for so long.
Found what I needed right away. Awesome staff! Very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this store.
Im not a big home depot fan, but I did find what I was looking for at a reasonable price.
Fast easy pick up
Alot of hardware items to much to mention
Great. But if you need assistance you have to go looking for them. They dont like it if you stop them while they are walking around doing nothing
Love home depots. Ots where i mostly can find. Things and its reasonably priced
I went to Home Depot to buy a metric wrench. And they had separate large metric wrenches. Lowes and Manards did not. They also have large 21 - 25 sets online that can be ordered. The price is lower.
Nice place to goin get stuff for your yard work especially if youre going to build a deck
Friendly and helpful associates. I didnt have to look for someone to help me, I was approached and asked if I needed any help. Thats always a major plus in my book.
NO STOCK THEY HAVE TO ORDER EVERY THING
They have helped me greatly over the past few months during remodel, and currently with my outdoor projects. Wait on help to load is a bit long, i loaded myself. I chocked it up to low # of employees due to covid, not a lack of intent or desire to assist.
I found my household needs. For my closet and storage. I never shop at Home Depot but now I will. I enjoyed it.
