We came to their shop and they immediately took a car off the lift to access my damage. They quickly resolved and had us back on the road. Incredibly nice people, I would go back if I lived near them. Thank you for being our vacation hero!!!

KC was awesome. We blew a wheel bearing on the Ohio turnpike. Called these guys, hooked up with a tow, got all of us off the freeway, got the parts fixed and got us back on the road! I highly recommend summit auto. KC is great and so were his co-workers!

Wanted to throw expensive parts in it, not knowing if that would fix it, was going to have to wait over a week to even start working on it. I spoke to several knowledgeable car people they told me that what Summit Auto wanted to do to fix my car seemed like they were trying to jack up a large bill and most likely would not be necessary to repair my vehicle. I had my car towed to a honest car shop .Location is unsavory, owner said my car would be robbed if I left it there overnight.

From the get-go KC was upfront and honest, lifted my car and showed me the extent of damage to my muffler system. Stated exactly what I needed to make things right. I had gone to another place prior which was also more of a drive from my home, I try to keep places local. The other place had a huge markup in what the parts cost along with the labor. KC told me exactly what to order to get the job done. I also went with a little more pricey of options because I want things to last.I ordered my parts and a week later returned with what I was told I needed. Without disappointment he had my car fixed within an hour. I was very impressed. Also was sure to put my car on lift, and showed me what exactly was replaced. I appreciate being shown this, because with being a new place and a woman, I like to know exactly what was done.He was professional, very to the point! I was very satisfied with past services until recently. I took my car back to the dealership for my oil change this time (I usually come here because I love the professionalism and good work but I was closer to Honda) I was told that an after market part was used on my oil filter causing rethreading to be done and extra money to be paid. This fix saved me from at least $500 worth of repairs. Not sure what happened with my prior oil changes but I dont want that to ever happen again.

They were great had to get my car towed in it wasnt wanting to start they picked it up and found out what was wrong I also went out of town that weekend so wasnt able to pick it up right away but it was no problem. Very friendly and even offered to look at my next vehicle to make sure it was safe and nothing was wrong with it. Thank you guys

They tried to double charge for a couple things...

Truck broke down Tuesday, brought it here hoping they could get me back on the road same day. Couldnt find parts, not their fault, left it there. Wednesday they send an email around 12:45 showing it needed more than they expected, fine, when can you have it done? They tell us Thursday. So Thursday before I leave to head down there (I live in Northern Michigan, about 4 hours away) we call and say I can be down there around noon to pick the truck up. She tells us thats fine and it should be ready by then. I get down here at 12:15 and they havent even touched the damn thing. Literally in the same exact condition as the pictures they sent us the day before. Tells me its going to be another 2-3 HOURS to finish because you cant rush things like this (their mechanic). I dont have 3 hours to wait on you guys. Its an 8 hour round trip, or more depending on traffic and I have kids to get home to. Total waste of a day and what was their resolution? Offer me a ride to the rental car place...... So I had to come BACK down again to pick it up today. No one could give a courtesy call that it wouldnt be done when they said it would? Ill make sure to take my $2700 elsewhere next time. What a joke..

Summit Auto helped me beyond what I couldve expected. My car decided to give me all sorts of problems and KC (the owner), and his team made sure to get all that was needed done very honestly. They explained everything about my car very well, and showed me the work they completed. They are great with communicating with you, and assuring that the job will be done in a timely manner. They also helped me with getting refunded from a shop that scammed me prior to bringing my car into Summit Auto. I believe this is a great shop and everyone should bring their car issues here! As a business owner myself, I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I feel completely scammed by this auto shop. At the beginning of the year I had my check engine light come on so I took it here to see what the issue was. Being a young lady not from the area or knowing anything about cars I feel like I was taken advantage of. I paid over $1700 to get a bunch things fixed on my car (that I didn’t even need). KC convinced me that I needed new brakes, new transmission lines, and a new thermostat when I didn’t need any of it my car had been running perfectly fine. So me not knowing anything about cars I believed him and paid for $1700 of work only to finally get my car back after 3 days with my check engine light still on. The same issue that I brought my car in for wasn’t even fixed but yet I was talked into giving this business over $1700. When I brought my car back to KC he then “figured out the problem” (after I already paid for unnecessary work) and then offered to give me a “free light tune up & oil change” for my trouble. He also believed one of the coils in my engine was going bad so recommend me to continue to drive my car until the problem revealed itself and to bring my car back and he would fix 1 coil for free. The staff here was very friendly and professional, but I feel like I was taken advantage of. This was a lesson learned and I will not be returning to this shop.

Ive been a customer at this shop twice so far, from muffler repair, to window motor, to ball joints, control arms, wheel bearings, you name it i needed done on my old truck. They were same day fast, shuttled me to and from home, took the time to explain ALL charges of parts and labor and show you problems first hand and explain how and why they are important. Staff is so friendly and atmosphere is so comfortable. Now i found this little hidden gem I wont let anyone else touch my truck!

So i brought my car in to replace trans lines...i was told the radiator was leaking..which it wasnt..and told me to take it back to who did the radiator...he found no coolant leaks..threw in a free coolant flush and brand new translines..no coolant leaks like he said...just rust inside the block...so the other shop made over 300 that i was willing to pay yall..got 2 stars cause he is a good mechanic..maybe it was just a bad day cause the guy had brake fluid in his eye

If I could give less than 1 star I would. They dont deserve it. I purchased a groupon from this shop that was a deal on an oil change and tire rotation. I called for one week straight persistent to set up an appointment as the gorupon states only to be consistently told that they dont have an open bay. After agreeing with the mechanic to meet first thing Monday morning of the next week I was told that he still didnt have a bay open. I was there in the parking lot waiting for 30 minutes because their information online gave inaccurate opening hours. I was not offered a refund but told to contact GroupOn and request a refund. The problem is that GroupOn doesnt refund after 7 days, which the mechanic conveniently led me on through 7 days. Im currently disputing the charge with my bank because I feel that it is unfair for this business to collect my hard earned money and weasel people into this philosophy that they are too busy for other customers who need quick service and instead focus on the large repairs that lock vehicles in their 2 bays, yes, they only have 2 bays, but feel they can sell groupons to the local populous, garner a high demand for sales, but in the end not be able to meet the demand of what they supply. Terrible. Avoid the nightmares and find a real shop like a Valvoline, you may pay more but the satisfaction of having it done right away and avoiding the headaches and frustration will be well worth it.
