Great bike options available for a great price! People here are really helpful and friendly. Highly suggest if your looking for a bike, but cant afford the expensive ones in the stores.
I asked questions and got the right answers. Since my bike 🚲 was second handed there was a lot of little things wrong with it. I asked if they could give the bike a front to rear work over. We discussed what had to be done and checked ✔ I left it there and will receive a call 📞 from them when it is done. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work that has to be done
Amazing bike shop!! Went in for the first time today & Geoff helped me out! Ive owned my bike for the past 10 years, but had no idea how to change out even a tube until today. We were quoted $300-400 from several other bike shops for a new wheel & tune ups. Today I was able to get what I needed used & new for $72!!! 🙌❤️ Such a wonderful relief with current finances! If you are wanting a bike, to fix up what you have, or looking for education on how to best use your bike, I give my highest recommendation to Toledo Bikes! Truly fantastic & educational service from professionals who know their stuff & are willing to graciously impart their knowledge!! ❤️ Thanks Toledo Bikes!! We will be back!
Great place to get your bike repaired. Polite, fast, and reasonable priced work! Will be going back again soon.
Awesome bike shop! Has a free workshop and even an educational program. Not to mention the crazy variety of bikes. This place is really community driven and loves to give back too. Definitely one of the better hidden gems of Toledo.Management was great in helping me find something that suited my needs, and the prices are amazing too. 10/10 would recommend.
A very nice selection of perfectly good used bikes at great prices. (At least right now) it includes a range of kids bikes. Theres even chances for people to earn a free bike by putting in a very short amount of volunteer time.
They have knowledgeable staff and bike mechanics.
Im happy I have my bicycle fixed!
First time there lady told me it wouldnt cost nothing just to hook up my brakes I waited for about 15 minutes and a man come over and he was like well keep it here for 2 days and Ill have it ready for you... take in mind it was a Friday so I said come back Sunday he said no Wednesday we dont work on the weekends thats 5 days I dont got time to wait plus you trying to rip me out of my money when the lady said free but you trying to charge me money I hate places like that
Excellent resource for inexpensive wheels in downtown Toledo. Getting folks back on their feet by putting them on a bike!
Shout out to Toledo Bikes! If you are looking for a bicycle or need parts/repairs contact Toledo Bikes on Washington street. They also take bicycle donations and teach classes. The volunteers there are wonderful and take the extra time to help you out to get your bike working again. They also teach classes if your interested! We just donated a bike that fell off the back of our car when the bike rack broke. The wheels could not be repaired and the front tire had disc breaks. We couldn’t find any replacements anywhere that were reasonable in price for a 24 inch mountain bike. So we decided to donate it. Two hours later the volunteer there texted me with a solution. He said he could re-spoke a new rim onto the disk brake hub. Since we already have the bike replaced and they teach troubled youth we asked him to keep it and teach others how to re-spoke it.
Excellent work they got my bike up and running you fix my stripped handlebars I will recommend them to anyone thank you guys
Dude! You could learn how to fix your bike
4 Stars. Good Place.
Great staff, very helpful
Very great customer service educated my son regarding his bike price for tire repair was very reasonable
This shop is awesome. They have a wide range of used bikes, both ready-to-ride and fix-em-ups at affordable prices. Theres a good selection of used wheels/tires, forks, frames, bars and drivetrain parts can be picked from. The staff are super helpful and happy to show you how to fix issues with your bike, and the shop is open for anyone to drop in and borrow a repair stand/tools/expertise. As the majority of the bikes are donated and the staff are volunteers, its a great place to buy a bike or fix one up without having a salesperson trying to get you to drop $2K on a new one.
Great place that provides extremely valuable service to Toledo. I was happy we found my husband a quality bike on our first try, and the service was impressive as well. Their mission is meaningful to me as a social worker, for the service to the downtown community, too.
Super cool non profit volunteer run bike co-op. Great place to buy a used bike, get your bike repaired, or repair it yourself using their shop and tools for free (please donate if you can). Check their schedule before you go - they have very limited hours and are often short staffed with volunteers, so you might have to wait a minute. Its worth it though.
Great co-op and great staffs and volunteers. Affordable price on rebuilt great condition bikes and parts. Bikes repair at affordable price, way cheaper than LBS.
Great place to drop off old or broken bikes. They sell use bikes for really cheap too!
Such friendly, helpful customer service! I went in not knowing anything about biking. Hadnt ridden since I was a tiny boy. Now, Im big and fat, so I was worried about causing structural damage to a bike and hurting myself. These helpful bike nerds got me all the way informed and fully equipped to hit the streets. All for like THE most reasonable price. They also fixed up my girlfriends long neglected bike for a great price too! 10/10 hours are a little wonky, but its definitely worth fitting a visit into your schedule.
They taught me how to true a wheel. There is an amazing selection of used parts and a limited selection of new parts. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Im never going to a traditional bike shop again. Help this organization by spending your dollars here and by donating bikes, parts, time, and/or cash.
Toledo Bikes! is the best bike shop Ive encountered in 60 years of riding. Super helpful, incredibly fair and professional. My grungy tired old bike rides like a dream now. Thanks guys :-)
Nice people, nice bikes, excellent service!
Great place for the community to learn about biking and an awesome program to give back to those in need. Its a great program. Thanks Eric youre an awesome guy for this project!
Cool operation with lots of good bikes and lots of parts just give yourself plenty of time to search
Wonderful people with a wonderful mission
They had just the parts I needed and at a great price.
Friendly staff, the prices and other patrons were very helpful.
Awesome 😎👍
Really awesome people that were able to help pick out a couple kids bikes
Took my boys there such a nice atmosphere
Anytime I have a problem with it I take my bike here. The staff doesnt just fix the bike, but takes the time to teach me how to do it on my own. The workshop is great and has all the tools and parts you need. Great place.
Very friendly staff and amazing deals on used bikes! I went there last week and picked up a bike for $130, go home and Google it to find it sells for $300 at least used! Definitely would recommend checking this place out before going to any other bike shop nearby.
Nothing about this bike shop is normal. I have been to some fine bike shops but this place takes the cake. 1) If you are looking for a good used bike at a great price, go here. 2) If you need your bike fixed, go here. They give the best prices on parts and labor, by far. 3) And most importantly, the staff is a combination of experts and technicians in training that make it their habit to teach you about your bike and what they are doing to your bike and what you should do with your bike when you leave. I learned a ton from a half dozen people there today. Unbelievable. I wish I could give this place 6 stars...
Not an ordinary bike shop. The tools are here for the public to work on their bikes. The staff is here to help you work on your bike. They also have low-cost refurbished bicycles for sale plus tons of used parts. They also have some more commonly needed new parts. Even if you never buy anything here they are always ready to answer any questions about cycling.
Great community bike shop that specializes in education and recycling. A great place to get any type of bike work done from a full tune-up to changing a tire and theyll show you how to do it yourself. They do sales of all types of used parts and bikes along with some new parts. Memberships are very affordable and their community rides are a whole lot of fun.
This place re furbishes, re uses, and recycles bicycles. Thats cool, but honestly, its expensive, so dont think youll get garage sale prices if your looking for a bicycle.I think the cooler thing they do is help you become a bicycle mechanic. Theyll help you fix your brakes, upgrade your shifter, and whatever else you want to do. This is also, to be honest, an expensive thing to do, but its not overpriced, its just an expensive thing to do.If you can afford it, you can support them with no regrets, theyre doing great things with the money. They travel to all the schools in the spring and give every kid a FREE bicycle tune up and replace broken parts. They also have a scholarship program for people who cant afford a bike. You can volunteer time, learn to be a bike mechanic, and earn a bicycle.
Buy used, buy parts, pay for repairs, learn how to repair for price of parts, donate!
Its really a great place to get your bike repaired at a very reasonable price...
Awesome service! Toledo Bikes feels much more like a community than a shop. They are a strong advocate for cyclists in our community and offer great products at low prices!
_fantasticThis is my fifth year commuting on my bicycle, I take the equipment parts and labor very seriously. This place is like a dream come true. Whatever your needs are this place is Fully outfitted.
I get my scrap art parts from here. They recycle almost anything bicycle related. A great place to work on DIY bike projects.
My bike got stolen so I looked online to find bike shops. I found Toledo bikes and they are amazing! The people that work there are great, and I came out with an awesome bike that only cost me $30.00 for the bike and a tune up!
My fiance brought his bike in to be fixed on 6/13/18. And the guy who fixed it was great. We will definitely be back.
One of those Transformative community organizations. I attended a maintenance workshop and it was awesome. If Toledo ever decides to become a Bike Friendly town, it will surely be because of the role Toledo Bikes plays in the community, enabling residents to own, repair and maintain their own personal transportation. Keep up the good work TB!
Toledo Bikes is a great treasure for Toledo cyclists old and new thank you.
Best place for bicycle users... If you like DIY jobs then u can visit this place and fix it yourself... U can volunteer and fix some other bikes if u want
Went on a community bike ride to teach the importance of group and how to safely ride on commuting routes. Very informative and Jason is a great teacher and group leader.
Replaced the front and rear wheel rim s as well as the brake pads on my Schwinn the same day
The main problem with this place is that its not open all the time. I hang around here and learn about bikes just about every day theyre open. There are a lot of cool people and they have even the most obscure tools, such as a press to remove cranks with French threads. This is a great community resource and they have helped me so much. Apparently I have a good taste in bikes because people kept stealing mine. Anyways, you can be completely broke, come in off the street and do some volunteer work for a few days and learn a bit along the way, and end up with an awesome vintage bike. Then you can keep coming back to volunteer more and get more parts for it to make it your own. Even if you can afford a new bike it is worth it to come down here and fix one up just for the experience. I enjoy riding my custom built bike that I made with a little help from my friends down here way more than I would a standard new bike shop bike.
Donated my bikes for charity. Great place. Great people. They helped us carry them inside.
Loved the friendliness and they service they introduced prices were affordable plus they even had a volunteer plan for those who wanna build a bike and not have to pay
Helpful volunteer staff, community environment. Least how to take care of your bike.
Great place to teach kids to work on bikes and great staff very helpful
Great food, fast service
I have gone here since this place opened. I always loved the store and staff, i have donated over 50 bicycles to them and i have bought over 20 bicycles from them. Since the management changed i have had nothing but. Problems. Today makes the 3rd time i was there with cash in hand trying to buy items from them. Just like the last 2 times i was told i cant buy the item it wasnt supposed to be here for sale or i cant sell this until i talk to boss then why is the product out?? Needless to say i will not be back and i will donate all the bikes i get from the scrappers to Michigan bike co-op. Its a shame their running off all their regular customers like my friends and i.
Really cool place with very nice and helpful staff especially a guy named Dan
Not just the spirit & service. In addition to being a bike repair & resale, this is a ministry (secular) training young people & preparing them for life!
Great place. People that work there are great.
Great place to get a like-new bike and learn how to keep your current bike riding like new.
Great place to learn about bicycle repairs and maintenance for free!
Great place to repair your bike, get a new bike, or get bike parts.
