Kyle was the best.I frequently buy pops here but never had someone care enough to check my pops to make sure they werent damaged.He was friendly and warm.Finally a reason to come back to this store.Thanks Kyle.

Great place for animals, candy, videos and music. I didnt think there were many places left that sold large amounts of music but here we are! Great ambient music and a wonderful staff. If you like movie memorabilia this is your new home!

Pretty cool to see a place like this still in existence in 2021. I feel like Im shopping in a mall from 2000 when I visit this store, which isnt a bad thing. Prices are a bit expensive but if you do some digging you may find yourself something good for a good price.

Physical movies? Where can I get them? Well, this is really it. Will you find what you’re looking for? Will you get the movie you didn’t know you were looking for? Some days you will have an associate greet you and ask if you want help and other days you will be ignored. It’s fun to go and see what happens. This gets five stars because they sell movies. Don’t stop selling movies. There would be no reason to come back.

Walked in here to check out the Movies. They have some great deals got dvds of some really great classics for only $5! Its a really sweet nice small store. Great spot to find a bargain

I love this store i buy most of my kpop albums from there but recently they havent really had a big selection of albums and it makes me sad 😢 like i was going to spend alot of money in that store but they dont have all the albums that i want. They mainly have bts sometimes youll get lucky and find stray kids or like oneus or something but not all the time.

Ben was very friendly and helpful. My friend and I were discussing Funko Pop figures with him, and he was kind enough to tell us to call the store before coming in so we can find out if he has it in store or not and the ask for him specifically. Not many people go out of their way these days, so it was nice to see someone so friendly and helpful.

FYE still stands in the Ocean County Mall, focusing on selling collectables and other oddities. Theres something nice and nostalgic about combing through their DVDs for sale, and Ive even found some gems in their record boxes.They also sell a wide variety of interesting snacks! I always make it a point to stop by and see if theres anything interesting to add to my own collections. The prices, however, can be a little high... But if its something rare youre looking for in movies or music, they just might have what youve been looking for.

They have so much Japanese Candy and Drinks, also pumping music with CDs and Vinyls.

Used to be a good place to shop but pretty much pointless now as the only carry the most current stuff and whats most popular but the staff is great

Not bad has alot of superhero and movie memorabilia just didnt have Spiderman stuff that we wanted only a hat and blanket but they had some really cool Bob Ross stuff lol

I like being able to bring my kids through this store. All kinds of neat odd things, but nothing inappropriate to worry about them seeing. Prices are fair, stock is fun and presented well.

I appreciate FYE evolving to compete with other hyper-focused geek stores, but their unique merchandise cant escape the general grimey-ness of the location. The floor is filthy, the stuffed animals have dirt and dust on them, and when I walked in, I felt sticky. The entire poorly lit store had a faint moldy smell, and I left without purchasing anything. Im not sure of the aesthetic FYE is trying for, but its absolutely losing potential customers due to its discount, garage sale atmosphere.

Used to be a lot better and cleaner. The floors now were very dirty, and the lighting made the shop feel dingy. The overall amount of merchandise also decreased, including what used to be a fantastic selection of anime DVDs reduced to a few ostensibly expensive box sets. I will say the selection of CDs felt solid, but otherwise, the store is a shell of its former self.

This store has a lot of stuff to satisfy the geek in you. There are shirts, sweaters, keychains and socks. Theres even DVDs. I love this store and its very nicely set up.

I love FYE! Everytime I go to the Ocean County Mall I always stop in to check out what they have at FYE. You can get some pretty good deals on their used movies and such, only issue is that some of the new movies are expensive, but I guess that is to be expected when you are buying something not used. I also really love their candy and ramune soda section and all the nerd stuff they have here! Great store!

Im really torn on this location. On one hand, its large with plenty of content and many bargain bins. On the other hand, the movie section is organized atrociously at best. I wouldnt say the genre organization is out of whack but theres minimal alphabetization.I dont blame the employees for the customers moving things around (Ive worked in several FYEs before), but I do blame them for not properly cleaning the sections up. During my time with the company my manager stressed piece by piece sections and making sure things were mostly organanized. If something was found out of place, take it and return it. Its clear that this isnt being done here which makes finding a specific item a nightmare. If youre looking to just flip through films and see what crosses your path, however, it works well.

Watch what they offer you as reward members. When checking out I was asked if I wanted to save an extra 10% off by getting a rewards membership. I asked if it was free and was told it was and could be used at a variety of stores, how could you turn that down? Well, after ringing me up I swipe my card to pay and a TOS pop up appeared and asked for me to confirm membership, thankfully I read it because it said that I gave permission to save and charge my cc the fee which of course didnt say how much or anything for that matter. When I asked, they still insisted it was free and that I just need to hit yes to continue. Um,.No! I had them cancel the order out, and redo it minus their free 10% off. They told everyone that came up to pay the same thing, people signed on their word which is false and misleading. They rushed people thru they can keep their 10% and after this, their business

Seems to have shifted focus away from music to accessories and collectibles. I suppose thats the nature of the music industry today, but its still a bit sad. Good selection of headphones and earbuds, typically.

They improved alot since my last review. Saddly everything is still 10 - 30 dollars more expensive than online. Quick buy for the most part.

The FYE in Ocean County Mall is so dark and cramped, I dont enjoy going in. That criticism is just at that one store. One other thing is there is a really poor selection of 4k movies. If youre looking for any 4k movies, dont go there.

This is one of my favorite places to go in the mall. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to both classic and modern pop culture. Not only is the store my go to for Blu-Ray DVDs and music (vinyl and CDS). But it also provides really sublime geek paraphernalia such as Rick and Morty, Harry Potter, Funko pops and popular anime memorabilia.

The store used to be great! It was the ONLY place in the area where you could purchase DVDs and BluRays anymore; suddenly they did a huge (poor) makeover.. And now there is an extremely small DVD/BLURAY selection, and now the store is mainly novelty items. Some from shows like the Walking Dead or Hello Kitty (what that had to do with movies Ill never know. Better off goin to a RedBox h renting old, and new releases. FYE? 👎

Welp after a recent visit i was in shock.... wheres all their stuff!? I mean i cant find any movies or specific dvds that I wanted after the rearrange the store looks all disheveled.... I mean the time between when suncoast closed down and this recent rearrange the store had atleast what I wantged theres no anime, special interest, sci-fi no nothing not even holiday specific.... Simon you fouled up annother store... and soo this mall may be a dead mall... :(.....
