Its an organized small area for getting OCC Merchandise and necessary supplies for school such as laptops and accessories, notebooks, pens, pencils, highlighters, etc.. There are more things to choose from on the online OCC Bookstore website.

Always clean and courteous staff. Not a huge selection and many things come at a premium. Generally we choose to order from the bookstore online because of expanded selection but those items are just as much a premium and the only real advantage is getting to use financial aid for the purchases weeks before your refund check is written. Even the selection of Ocean County College merchandise is limited in store without many designs to choose from.

The bookstore was amazing! I am a returning student and I could be happier with the changes made by the college by partnering with B&N. The staff was super helpful and were happy to answer all of my questions, they explained things clearly without beating around the bush. The managers were working right along side the staff and were happy to introduce themselves to me. Lisa was happy to explain to me the difference between renting new, used, and digital as well as price matching. The staff got my books quickly and happily double checked everything before I went up the the register. They seemed to have a good assortment of products that I will be back to look at. The girl at the register was very sweet and double bagged my purchase for me, she also helped me find my student ID number on my phone. Overall I had a wonderful experience and think anyone who hasnt must have went to a different store than me!

The bookstore is alright, the books are pretty overpriced. But you can get a bunch of school supplies form the store and I think that is what makes it decent. There is also candy and snacks, you cant go wrong with that. Also the cashiers are very nice and helpful, I have had a good experience everytime I have went.

Very pricey. Bought a computer was told it was the best now it doesnt run very well and only had it a few months. Feel mislead by the staff.

Beyondddddd overpriced. Better off buying them online if you can. Buying from this bookstore is my last resort if I have to. Amazon is cheaper and way better then this bookstore.

Told me I needed an online code for the course so I bought it. I email the teacher she says I dont need it. Best part is you cant return it. I will never buy anything from them again.

They are very knowledgeable, and will help you compare prices so you get the cheapest books for your classes.

The pictures online didnt represent the room I had. I expected a more updated,colorful, more streamlined look from the pictures. Maybe only part of the hotel was remodeled. My room was more 2000ish than 2017ish. Also, the air conditioning unit was freezing! I put the speed on low and it didnt make any difference. Plus the place smelled musty. Ive stayed in lots worse, but I would have preferred to stay in better digs. But, the staff was Very nice!

Cool student hub, they advertise events and sometimes have $1 meals, awesome bookstore with helpful staff, lots of occ merch. They also serve Starbucks ❤ and theres a free food bank upstairs, just show your college id!

This new venture Ocean County College has established with the Barnes and Noble company is not what it is cracked up to be. The service and management is not friendly nor are they helpful. This store sells tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy at rates that are above 80% higher than Best Buy or Amazon. A bookstore that is attached to a publically funded Community College should not be price gouging innocent students straight out of high school. The Ocean County College Bookstore is symbolic of everything that is wrong with higher education in America today: milk the students, give them things are remarkably marked up rates, and then send them off into a world where their skills are not applicable.This bookstore, in my humble opinion, would rate less than 1 star. Please, do not be suckered in by their flashy new website, go to any other alternative you can find. They know they can bilk kids out of financial aid or their parents money. It would be a joke if it wasnt a prime example of Barnes and Nobles inept response to the 21st century market place.

Always have a horrible experience with this place.. staff is rude and they will do anything to take your money. They act like they are giving you a deal when in reality they are just trying to get as much money as they can from you. Never buy anything from here, I know I will only get my books online from now on.

Do not waist your time ordering from this company. After purchasing my used algebra book online for $150 but because they over sold the book and without my knowledge at all they bumbed the price up $60. Instead of a used book I orginally ordered they changed it with a brand new book. So seeing the price jump I figured it was just an error and Ill get it fixed, but that was not the case. When I got there the lady at the desk was entirely rude and basically said that they have the right to change what I ordered being that you agreed to our terms on our checkout page. So I read the terms and there it was but the reason why Im mad because there was absolutely no confirmation or notary to this and without my permission they charged me an additional $60. Also how can you oversell something you keep in stock, it honestly sounds like they set people up for that mess. So my advice would be to order your books from Amazon and not waist your time with this sleazy company.

I would give it 0 stars if i could. every single time i step into the bookstore i have a bad experience. the workers are always rude. and the prices are ridiculous.

I called the OCC bookstore to ask about the availability and price of a textbook and the guy on the phone there was rude and said that he couldnt because he was busy. So I bought my textbook online.

Everything in here is over priced. Crazy how these kids are already in debt with tuition why over charge them with these prices. Crazy.

Didnt return my books in time so they took 256$ from my bank account 👌👌👌

How does a book store not offer the books the school offers?

Charged me 491.00 for a lab kit when the company that sells the lab kit only costs 330.00. Also Last semester I purchased an extra slide for my microscope. They raised the price up over 100.00 after I had made the order!!!! When I called in to question this I was told this is a business Stick to Amazon and The maker of the lab kits.
