This is a smaller version of their main store, but still has that fun surfer vibe. I enjoy walking around and seeing all of their new clothing, specifically anything Free People. I think that they have a great selection of outdoor gear as well. They have clothing for every age and personality.

I used to live in the area and loved the store. The Point Pleasant location always provided good customer service. My family now lives closer to Toms River so I went to this location when I was visiting about a month ago. The customer service was awful. They are way too many young employees and they don’t even acknowledge you coming in or ask you if you need help. My daughter loves the clothes so we went back for the midnight madness sale. I don’t know why I thought it would be any different. We went in late and there were probably only two or three other customers in the store and about six girls all working there talking and never acknowledged us. Only one employee did and she was in the men’s department and she was great but when we were looking at other departments we had no help and actually felt like we weren’t wanted there. The cashier never said a word the whole time that we were paying and seemed bored out of her mind. My daughter came to buy school clothes for the season but we were both so turned off we left. It doesn’t matter how good their selection is, somebody needs to take charge of this place and listen to the reviews from more than a year ago and train the staff or get new staff or they will continue to lose customers. Ironically, as we were leaving there was a gentleman who appeared to be the manager or the owner and he said good night to us. It was perplexing to us that he seemed to have no clue how his employees treat or rather don’t treat customers. I thought maybe it was because of the sale but it’s not. They were like that a month ago and there was hardly anybody in the store then either. What a shame. I wish it was the way it used to be.

I have been shopping here before and had a good experience but I think that was due to working with the gentleman in the surfboard area whom are very good at customer service.That said I was in today with my son whom checked out his items as I was patiently waiting to see jewelry. The girl behind the counter waited on someone else at checkout. No problem. Than proceeded to fix things around the inner counter where I was visibly looking at an item, proceeded to waited on someone else, never even acknowledged me standing there, and now my son is also standing there with me and she waits on yet someone else and still doesn’t acknowledge someone has been standing there for close to 10 minutes. I walked out.I hate to say this but once you leave the surf area the employees are terrible at assisting customers. I would probably have spent a decent amount of money on stuff I truly didn’t need but she lost her store business all because she couldn’t do her job or at least say Hi can you give me a moment. Maybe seems petty to some but I work in customer service and rule #1 is always at least recognize someone there even if you can’t get to them right away

Great customer service. Im pretty new to longboarding and went from a cheap bargain brand to this beauty. I was having a hard time deciding. I simply explained how I like to ride and this was the best match up. I just got done riding it around for almost 2 hours. I couldnt be happier. It was worth every penny.

Horrible customer service. Other places to go with lower prices and better client service. Do not shop here!

I had nothing but positive visits there besides having a young man following me through the store iam sure theft is a issue but come on you asked me 5 times are you ok I said Iam what about you seeing you have been following me through the store I love the store great selection to clothing to boards I do highly recommend the store I know the young man is just doing his job kuttos to you young man for doing your job.

Just got my fiancé and I a snowboard and the full set up! Paul was amazing with helping us find a great board for starters, and assisted me through my entire visit. The ladies were even nice enough to help me carry my items to the car and chat with me at the front. Will be back soon☺️

Came to this store for three items, a traction pad, skateboard, and base coat wax. They did not have a single employee that was able to help me set up a skateboard and did not sell base coat wax. I was able to find a traction pad, but this store ultimately turned one stop into what is now going to have to be two more stops at other stores.

This place is really cool, great selection of stuff too, some of the things are a little pricey but it is 100% worth buying them because the quality is very good.

Been shopping here for over 20 years and have spent thousands here. So tired of the teenage girls with such an attitude when you need help with something or are returning. I think the prices are high enough that the customer service could be a lot better, not that of WalMart. I love Brave, it’s a great shop with a lot of quality good and variety, but I’m tired of being given an attitude and treated like an inconvenience!!!

Awesome found just what I wanted

Selection of apparel was good and the shoes are reasonably priced. With that being said the young female working in the store was rude and treats customers with questions like an inconvenience. I will be taking my business online and pacsun for now on. If you shop here I would recommend not coming on a Sunday.

Just a warning to other shoppers, Brave New World does not refund for returned items. They only allow for store credit. Think long and hard before you purchase. Youll get stuck with store credit that expires after a year.

My sisters were looking for dresses for an upcoming wedding we had that weekend, one found a dress and we went to go buy it.. The cashier ripped the dress as she was taking the alarm tag off of it because she was too distracted talking to a boy she worked with.. Wed gone to at least 15 other stores before this one to find a dress and that was the only one that she liked. That dress ripped and it was the last one in her size. Did not purchase the dress & left extremely disappointed.. Staff is terrible, too busy chatting about drama in front of customers. Also there was trash piled on top of a wood piece attached to their building in the front. How disgusting. Ill never go back.

I have to agree with other reviews, the staff hung out and chatted with each other and didnt help us, I had to interrupt their conversation and ask for assistance. They only had size 7 1/2 in womens ski boots, of which there were only 5 boots to choose from. Almost no selection and lacking in an inventory of ski and snowboard boots and bindings. Went there hoping to get boots and bindings and ready for the mountain but ended up being a total waste of time.

Very mean worker who didn’t know what he was talking about and I will never buy from that location again
