Appears to be very short staffed, if calling in to find an item…No one picks up in Pharmacy or Pet products or even the General Store Information Number….It’s pretty clear that Walmart is not overly concerned about their faithful customers!😑

I was accosted at the door by their greeter asking for a receipt and when I told him no he asked again like I was some sort of criminal. I have never stole anything in my life and when I took my complaint to management they were less than helpful and sarcastic. Walmart has lost a customer for good thanks to this experience.

Vinny at the front door was rude! Today was my first visit to the store, and probably will be my last. I apparently came in by the automatic exit doors, which have “Welcome” above them, and Vinny called out loudly “Ma’am, you’re supposed to use the entrance!” I said it was confusing because of the Welcome signs. Vinny rudely said, “It says no entry right in the middle of the doors.” But you could only see that one if the doors are both closed. As I came around the “right” way, I was shocked when I heard and saw Vinny and the other male employee discussing me and other “Holiday shoppers.” I realize that you are short staffed, but Vinny is unlike any Walmart employee I’ve ever encountered. He needs retraining, as this is just the beginning of holiday hustle and bustle!

The store was clean and new merchandise was very noticeable and neatly done. They had the few things I went there for. No lines at the registers because the the right amount of registers were open. The associates were very friendly !!

Its a nice Walmart. Clean, friendly employees (as long as youre friendly to them first as you should), and good range of items. Not everything is always in stock so check first if its that important or essential.Side note: Be on your guard in the parking lot. Dont be in a super rush to a parking spot. And dont be in a blind rush walking through the paring lot. Thank you 🤙🏽

Typical Walmart. Shelves messy, stuff is cheap. But useful stop if you need something quick.

Went there for one grocery item. They were pretty much out of it. Got. Lucky and found one left tucked behind something else. Their parking lot is small compared to most others Ive been to and be chaotic. Next time I need to get something I will just go out of town to a grocery store.

While the staff seems nice, this Walmart needs a serious update and has very limited selection! Definitely feels drab. I would say it’s good to quickly pick up last minute items like ice, but it’s been out of that too! Local folks are tired of driving to Forked River for a decent Walmart shopping experience!

I have been in the store four times in one week and could not find one item that I was looking for. The shelves are never fully stocked.There are times I’ve been in the store and there’s not one carriage in the store. horrible horrible Walmart. Would not recommend anyone go in there. They are always out of stock of what you need!!!!

I like this store. Its big with many items and the self checkout location is good for my social anxiety. I like to shop at places where I dont have to talk to people too much. Friendly staff and a good place to shop with your family if you need groceries or other miscellaneous items.

Need to staff up. Really poor attendance in each department. However, the people there were awesome. Woman in Automotive very detailed in her thoughts and honest. Woman juggling by returns was superattuned as well. Obviously they really care about the people they help and are fully engaged in their work. Really nice to experience!!!

Its Walmart. You get what you need to get and thats about it.The shelves are rarely stocked, yet theyre always unloading pallets. This Walmart needs a serious revamp or something. Horrible location.. years ago they planned on moving the Walmart to another area nearby and that never panned out.

Very low stock of things no service in store to use walmart app and my phone service is Verizon. As It was my first time in this location wouldnhave been helpful if I could use the app

Ive shopped here many times, always a good experience. In and out quick, have what I want at good prices. Recently bought a bike online. Said it was in inventory. Later that day it said there was an issue. So I called and it was explained that the bike was missing parts. The manager went out of her way to search for the pieces and they rushed and got the bike together for me. She didnt have to, but went above what was the minimum. Very appreciative for that. I notice they hire people with disabilities and the people they hire are all very pleasant and do a great job. Just an all around great thing to see. Thank you for setting an example of how things should be these days. I will continue to shop from here because of how you do business and help the community.

This store was clean and well organized. I was not able to find what I was looking for but my son needed a power cord for his ps4. They did not have any but the woman in electronics told us they may have replacement power cords on the back wall and sure enough they did. Thank you so much! You saved this mama another trip! Will definitely be back!

This Walmart always seems to never have cashiers but a ton of employees walking around. Three cashiers and one is for self check out. It took 20 mins to check out and only five min to get what i needed. Half the items are always missing on location as well. Hire PPL!!

Dunno why ppl love it, shows on their website in a specific location that they have the item i was looking for and when I walked in asking for assistance I was told they never had it in stock.After asking them, why is it listed on the web of the specific location? All I got was a tiny nod.

Worst Walmart ever. I hate complaining about people because you never know what someone is going thru but at the same rate if someone is being pleasant to you be pleasant back. The cashier was extremely rude to everyone for no apparent reason.

Food section is horrifying but its better than nothing I guess. This Walmart should be upgraded and fresh produce should be added.

Great service in timely fashion! Pickup area needs to be a little better set up when carrying heavy items on cart its easily spilt over with bumps on walkway coming out to the side where pickup parks. Employees still did a great job no complaint but someone could have gotten hurt. Thank you guys for helping me with heavy pickup order you rock!

The Walmart in Toms River is such a sad place shelves are empty nothing is out what happened you go to buy milk no lie there was no milk no nothing what is going on my trip to Walmart was not a pleasant one very unhappy customer used to love to go to Walmart not anymore so sad

It’s a basic Walmart lol it’s usually clean. I was surprised I was able to find pants in my husbands size. Clothes there are usually I can’t find what I am looking for, but other departments in the store are good.

Needs updating, needs to add cashiers, if I wanted to ring my items up I would have applied for a job. Also store needs stocking and deep cleaning

This store never seems to have much in stock. When you talk to the staff there, they all same the same thing. The others Store get more product a better selection and even better equipment. Wake up Wal-mart.

They stopped selling sports cards. The chain of stores sucks but they are convenient like it or not. They gouge customers online for sports cards. 4 times the retail price. SUCKSSSSSSSSS

The staff were super helpful and nice. They went above and beyond to help me find what I needed. This is not a super Wal-Mart so the grocery section is minimal. I bought an air mattress (displayed on an end cap) that required a pump but the matching pumps were several aisles away.

I am not a huge fan of Walmart but this one is better than most. Its smaller than the super Walmarts you see around but it was clean and well stocked. Most Walmarts I go to look like they have been pillaged by roving bands of vikings, this one actually had the clothes on the racks and the stock on the shelves. I didnt see any garbage, used food, dirty napkins, etc on any of the shelves, which was a pleasant surprise. They could definitely use a few more cashiers and customer service people as the lines were bananas. Took me about a half hour to get through the check out and the customer service line was backed up to the doors, but my daughter was able to spend some of her birthday money so Im calling it a win. Parking was ample.

Terrible! I know all Walmarts are not great and have problems but this store is the worst one. Its always out of anything on the shelf and the freezer, and finding the things you need in the store is not easy because its so disorganized. The stores Management of inventory is horrible and the prices are higher here than other Walmarts. DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOURE READY TO WASTE YOUR TIME.

They have just about everything you could possibly want. The people here are polite and the store is kept clean. Its easy access for individuals with disabilities. The increase in the number of self checkouts has improved the checkout times.

I do not like the Toms River Walmart its kind of dirty its not so bad but I just like a different Walmart

I went to Walmart looking for a home security system for the most part, checking prices. I was disgusted & disappointed at the price. For the same exact system I found at BJs, it was $100.00 more at Walmart 😱🤔

They were out of a lot of things. They didnt even have a small can of white paint. They never have enough electric carts, you cant find anybody to help you and the things they do have are at inflated prices

When ppl were saposed to be wearing masks they didnt informed it when it was mandated. I was descusted buy there conduct.

Ive been to quite a few but none as clean and organized like this 1! Staff are knowledgeable and friendly! I didnt have to look for help, they were around to offer it! THATS what Im looking for!👊😎

Best rotisserie chicken Ive ever had. Best prime steaks when they arent sold out. Best mini steak rolls. Produce is above average for below average price. Cant think of a negative thing to say, all things considered.

I ordered a portable air conditioner for pickup expecting a cut and dry experience. First off when I ordered the item it didn’t indicate that Walmart decided to throw the pickup section in the home and garden during the spring time!!? So the 15 person line at customer service was blocking their 4 foot sign indicating you to call for pickup items so I walked the store and stood at the pickup section waiting for help for about 10 mins being passed by employees. Long story short I called and got attitude from a ratchet lady telling me even though it says pickup today by 8 I won’t be getting it today. Woke up this morning and my order was cancelled. Cool story. That’s fine I bought a better one at Lowe’s for 40 more bucks and didn’t have to deal with the slobs who work pickup.

This place rocks! The wait staff know their customers, treats them warmly. My good friend, also a regular diner here, has her own coffee cup. Would it be okay? Of course. Destiny poured hot tasty coffee, let us talk. She had a great smile. We ordered, food came quickly, hot & good. The place filled up & was busy.Destiny worked. Taking orders, pouring coffee, clearing dishes.And always smiling.....

Used the in-store optometrist, very good.

How is it that for such a populated area, this Walmart is not a supercenter?? No meat section, vegetable section, baked goods section or deli section. Not to mention, the shelves are half empty all the time. How lame, what a shame! I have never been to a Walmart as poorly geared to its customers as this!!!

The store was looking so much better...not so many pallets of items. I actually got assistance in 2 areas of the store. Childrens clothing areas looked so much neater.

ZERO STARS! This is absolutely the worst store OF ANY KIND that I have ever dealt with. COMPLETELY MISMANAGED! When I went to get a Pickup, all the signs with the phone number to call.. ready? ...all turned around the wrong way... This is just a SMALL, TEENSY fraction of the whole ridiculous experience I had with this store.... It is now happened more than just a few times. Its literally - too much for me to type here. AVOID! Try calling and see if anyone picks up their extension number... GOOD LUCK!

Dont go to Walmart i wait 20 minutes in line for my grocery they had one young girl a the resistor I was the 6 one in line had to be at least 5 other people behind me asked manager open another one see said go to self check out. They at least 10 self one i refuse to go self check out i told young girl this isnt right your doing all the work, while others one watched everyone check there own goods n bags them i this like going here, my second time in 4 months

I like Walmart for the purchase of specific items and this particular store is nice, but on this particular trip many items were not in stock. I noticed there were quite a few items not in stock that had display models on the shelf, some saying do not inventory. I also noticed price increases over what I normally paid for items in the past.

I shop at a lot of Walmarts in the US. I now expect a Walmart to be a supercenter this particular Walmart is not and its always a little disappointing but they did have what I needed they really just didnt have much grocery stuff and Im really not there for that anyway The people were friendly but the bags that self check out were installed as a big bunch so I couldnt separate out my bag I just carried all my stuff out my arms so for lack of care setting up the bags at the self check out they lost the star.

Certainly not the best Walmart mainly because it is not a Super Walmart. The shelf prices are not listed on a many items and when trying to find the price scanner ...there are none. An associate told me they want people to use the app to find the prices for themselves. Using the app makes it more difficult for the elderly,( of which there are many in the area) and that they are tracking your buying habits and whatever else!

This store I was taken by surprise. Its not a super Walmart and the majority of its staff is retirees. Although theyre very friendly they lack the alertness that from a customers point of view would expect when seeking answers where to find things and/or what aisle.:)

Terrible experience. Went to the electronics section to purchase something out of a glass cabinet. 4 employees behind the counter talking amongst themselves with complete disregard that I was standing there while they glanced over at me quickly, I guess assuming theyll finish their conversation and get back to the customer when they felt like it. There was an employee behind the register who was a little older so I expected her to at least give me a second of her time. She finished what she was doing and walked right past me as I was standing behind the glass window. I said is someone going to help me?. She said it wasnt her department. Understandable. Then shortly after I get help from someone who wasnt even behind the register when I initially approached. Every time I go to this store theres always some form of incompetence from these employees. I think Ill be shopping somewhere else or just do all my shopping online.

I guess its the best supermarket around cant compare prices and its clean and the people are good

Barely had any inventory! The shelves were a mess and even the basic necessities that Walmart usually ALWAYS has, were not available. A disappointment trip to be honest. Otherwise I usually dont have issues.... run in and out. This time.... ugh.

I purchased 4 cans of dog food with checker #3 18 minutes ago and when I got home there were only 3 in the bag! 2 bags needed And one bag has only a single can???... not the first time a single item wasnt with the order at this store. Also coupons are overlooked at this location by checkers and you have to watch and remind them... and would you believe no one has answered the phone when I call for the last 15 minutes. I tried 3 times and let it ring til it shuts down of its own. Worst Walmart store anywhere, sad its closest to my house.

Been here multiple times and have been let down every single time. The employees are downright rude and act as if they are inconvenienced by your very existence. Waited for an employee to assist me in the outdoor department for 45 minutes today. Three other employees refused to call for assistance over the intercom, and one employee rolled her eyes at me and said she was off the clock and needed a cigarette. This type of treatment is indicitve of the systemic incompetence of Walmarts managent and training program. I am finally taking my money elsewhere and recommend that others get some self respect and do the same.

Walmart is my favorite store! Can never go wrong with Walmart!
