We recently moved my senior parent from her retirement home. Coastal Door provided such great, professional service from beginning to end. We needed to install a new door and have operating equipment installed properly for inspection. They handled everything for us and were very fairly priced. The owner is hands on and the service technician was very professional, on time, hard working, good at communicating, etc. . We highly recommend this company.

I have used Coastal several times in the past, for repairs on my old garage door. John always arrived promptly and repaired it correctly. Since my old garage door was 31 yrs old, I decided it was time for a new door... and I wanted something with style, to replace the big old boring one. John ordered my dream door and installed it yesterday. He did a fantastic job -- I couldnt be any happier! He and his helper were professional from start to finish: prompt, meticulous, knowledgeable, hard workers. I absolutely LOVE my new door -- and so do all my neighbors ;) I highly recommend Coastal, whether you need repairs or a whole new door.

Contacted John at Coastal Garage Doors late yesterday afternoon and he immediately returned my call. He called this morning to confirm that I would be home and to advise me he would be within an hour. He showed up in 45 minutes.I have a 2 bay garage and one of the lift units had stop operating. He was willing to reset the unit in an attempt to get it to work, but advised that he could not guarantee for how long it would operate. I asked about changing out the unit as it was over 20 years old and he advised that he had the necessary parts with him. I then asked him about replacing both units so that they would operate under the same control. John offered me several cost saving options, however, I just felt more comfortable replacing both units and having a single remote for both doors. Additionally, he showed me how the doors would now operate off an app on our phones.The entire project took him less than an hour and even replaced the damaged weather stripping around one of doors.Excellent service and very confident that I was given the best deal.

Called Coastal Garage at 9AM regarding a broken torsion spring and damaged cables. Tom and Mark arrived at 3:15 that afternoon and were done by 4! Meticulously and efficiently removed the old stubborn hardware like the pros they are and installed a new spring and custom made new cables. Lubricated all existing hardware and suggested improvements.Competitively priced for this top-shelf installation.Courteous and very able pros. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Woke up this morning with a broken garage door. I knew I needed a new one so not knowing who to call I went on line and found 4 businesses in my area. I called Coastal at 8:30 am, spoke to John, he squeezed me in for an estimate because I told him my car is in garage and need to get it out. He came at 10:30 gave me a price, I asked when he could install it and he said now and I said how. He said he has 1 in his truck. He comes well prepared. Everything was finished by 11:45. Dont call anyone else, Coastal Garage Door is great! My OLD garage door quit working. John F came to advise me of options although I knew it was replacement time. A few days later John came back, did a quick and clean installation. He explained and demonstrated everthing and Answered all my questions. I highly recommend.

We were dead in the water - door jammed, car trapped - manual operation not possible. Called Coastal - explained our situation and they promised to come out before noon. John arrived well before noon and within 30 minutes the rail was reattached securely to the wall. John checked all operations, lubricated the rollers, rails and pulleys. We were back in business. It is such a good feeling to know that if we have a problem with the door opener that Coastal can be relied upon to come quickly, fix the problem and charge a very reasonable fee. I wish all other maintenance firms operated with the professionalism, integrity, responsiveness and fairness of Coastal Garage Doors.

Great service. I woke up in the morning and my door would not go up. Ill called coastal door and they answered right away. I spoke to the owner John who was informative and had a great sense of humor. He came out that morning and had me all fixed up in just an hour. Its hard to find service like that nowadays. I learned that his business is a family operation and had been running for over 30 years. I would highly recommend him to others because his prices are great as well. Horrible service. Hired them to fix my garage door and they didn’t fix it, gave us garage door openers that are both defective, and left a broken garage code pad unreplaced!!!! I placed multiple calls out to them and none of them are acknowledged or returned. Completely took my money and ran. I would never recommend to anyone.

The owner is quick to answer the phone and definitely knows garage doors. He was able to figure out the problem over the phone and scheduled an appointment at a time that was convenient for me. Thanks again!

ITS APPARENT THAT THIS COMPANY DOES NOT WANT TO RETURN A CALL ABOUT A PROBLEM. THEE UNIT WAS INSTALLED 7/28/2014 .I CALL THEM A TECK CAME TO THE HOUSE TIGHTEN THE UNIT. IT STILL MAKE NOISE. THE LAST ONE THEY INSTALL ON THE SECOND IN 2013 WORKS BETTER THAN THE ONE THAT WAS JUST INSTALLED.
