This store has been very amazing! This store has given us a safe and complete experience. We went to one yesterday and bought the toothless and Lightfury and two Nightlights. We called this store and they had the third one. They set one aside for me. I came in today and they gave us the nightlight. Plus upon entering this store we discovered that the bears are supposed to come with a birth certificate. When we told this location we didnt receive them for our other two dragons we were told to make them here and its not fair to get the animal without the certificate. They made us tags and had us create a certificate for them. It was really interactive. This store had us jumping and making wishes on our hearts. They really made a difference in todays world. With the pandemic going on finding somewhere that gives you an interactive and safe experience is almost impossible to find. We love this store and will be coming back! This is the Ocean county mall location. The one that failed us was the Freehold Raceway Mall location.

Best way to burn money - especially with your children! The experience is cute, and the kids love it. The bears are relatively inexpensive - they catch you with all the accessories and clothing. Youll spend 2-3 times as much on those than the bear itself. But the kids have a good time and they come out with a new friend/keepsake that will last them for years.

Bought bear #119 today for a stranger and her 4 year old grand daughter in memory of my grandson Gavin. Always a great experience and the staff loves what they do.

Very kind staff. They had patience when my daughter was hesitant to pick out a bear to stuff. The store is very CLEAN AND NEAT!

This is an awesome place, we visited here a few months ago while in New Jersey. Its just as much fun for the adults as it is the kids creating your own stuffed animals and choosing everything right down to their outfits! Its just a very fun place with a great atmosphere!!

Expensive but worth it for the kids. Suggest to go during you childs birthday month and get the birthday bear that you pay for by age.

Jennifer has to be the nicest employee in the mall. The amount of patience she has for my kids is unbelievable! They love going to BAB, and she just made the experience so much better. Thank you Jennifer!

Took my Daughter for a mall day and of course you cant just walk by build a bear with a 3 year old. Faith helped us and she was WONDERFUL. You dont just go for the stuffed animal, you go for the experience and faith had my daughter smiling ear to ear the whole time. We have been there many times and had the generic visits but I had to leave faith a review because she deserves it. Thank you! You made my day!

Dissappointed. I came here yesterday with my daughter and while the worker who helped us was nice, he didn’t do any of the typical things you would do here with her..like making a wish with the heart, jumping up and down etc. He just stuffed it and sewed it up. I take her for the fun experience of making it and that didn’t happen. I didn’t think to ask for him to do that because I thought it was protocol since we’ve gone to build-a-bear more than 5 times. You would think for the money we spend on a stuffed animal they would make sure every experience is fun.

I love the concept of build a bear however this was our 2nd visit and we had the same problem. While they have a great selection of stuffed animals, they do not for the clothes. We got cookie monster who is larger than your traditional bear and he is in a skin tight jumpsuit. Then we got Olaf and they had a custom shirt and hat for him except the hat doesnt fit with the branches on top of his head. You think someone in design wouldve noticed that.

Great place for the kids. Cute toys and very exciting stuff to make and buy. Just a nice place.

Both the employees that work here that we met were really nice and take pride in their jobs. I really enjoyed my visit here and plan to go back.

You can get your kids a variety of stuffed animals. They will fill it and allow your child to add a heart to put inside the animal, then fill the rest of it up and will even allow your child to close it up by tugging on the strings.The prices are not bad for the stuffed animals, however, this will change once you want accessories for them. We have over 20 of these at home and each of them, we’ve gotten accessories for. The final price is usually about $50-60 each with accessories. Once, my son got a Batman and it ran about $75! Because he got a Batman suit, shoes, face mask, and belt. Who knows what my wife paid for my daughters’ many dolls with dresses with sequins and wands and whatnot!

My daughter is teenager and we both still have fun going in there picking out different stuffed animals and clothes.

Cute offerings for the little ones ... but watch out for the accessories!! A ten to fifteen dollar toy can end up costing 85 to ninety dollars.

Everybody was super friendly! The guy manning the stuffing station (didnt catch his name but he had a tattoo on his forearm) was really nice and he got my shy son to jump around and talk and have a great time😁
