My main issue with the store is if I go in with a list of ten items, 1 or 2 of those items will be out of stock. This has been this way for years, long before the current state of the supply chain. They have also recently started to remove several of my favorite brands or varieties to make room for their own Bowl and Basket brand. Also you need to check the expiration date on everything. Its not uncommon to come home with butter set to expire in a week because they werent rotating their stock consistently. The workers are very nice and helpful and the store is clean.
Nice and simple with good owners and good people, has mostly everything you need tho some shortages due to covid which is understandable!
Great store. Very clean. Has a lot to offer.
10/23/21- went to pick up a few things for dinner as well as a pumpkin pie. I was not happy when I saw what looks to be mold on EVERY pumpkin pie I picked upUpdate- I had went back to the store and my cashier was a young man named Evan I believe. i also spoke with a manager, a blonde woman with glasses and let me say they were the sweetest people ever! Will definitely go back. Just wont ever use Brett as a cashier. The store was very clean and very well organized. My cashier was a young man name Brett in the handicap check out. He was rude and had absolutely no customer service skills. He said nothing but have a good night. He did not help me bag a single item and continued to scan everything while my bread and chips got smashed. He huffed and puffed when he saw his line getting long and I was not moving fast enough for him. I will go back to the store only because it is right up the street from my new home, but if I see him I absolutely will not be in his line again.
Its shoprite nothing special, place is clean and always stocked everytime I walk in, the only thing that is bad is the aisle and product is crammed so close that you feel like a sardine when you walk through the store. But in any situation shoprite has great pricing and is better stocked than anybody esle.. the aisles never have freight all over the place compared to there competitors who are always a mess and always short staffed..
Nice place to buy food and other stuff for the house 🏠. N . The people that work there. That if you have a question. They can help you out. Or find what you need.
I love this place, this ShopRite has everything. This store coupled w the dollar tree, makes a great shopping experience
Great store, good prices, clean aisles.
Please, p;ease, please bring back whoever you had making the sushi. He was great. Whoever is making it now needs to go back to school it is terrible. Stop with all the rolls and bring back the basics in sushi.
Went to get some cake from the dessert department. The lady there was very friendly and the tuxedo cake was the best cake Ive ever had!❤😊👍
Awesome store!! Everything you need in one location. Very clean and well organized.
Just love shopping there, cant say anything more♥️
Very pleasant experience but the pharmacy is a hole other beast the shelf sticker is helping the pharmacy fill perception and messed mine up bad 2 days ago I had a seuzier from running. Out
This is a mixed review. The girls/guys at the deli are wonderful, especially Ducky. The one star is for a certain deli worker, who I wont call out personally, but if you have ever ordered here, you likely know who I mean. I do whatever I can to avoid getting her. She is unpleasant, angry and mutters to herself when you order. She makes me feel uncomfortable. If I get her when my number is called, I walk away.
Joe sharkey is the goat of managers in this business this is my Hometown local store rest in peace Joel p
They have everything you need at good prices. Workers are very friendly and very accommodating
Strong management, good workers, comparable prices. Can enter from either Fischer Blvd or Bay Ave.
The staff friendly however the prices have been a allot higher than even your normal summer time costs.. its worth traveling a little further 37 West, super shoprite has much better prices
I love Shop Rite the one on 37 in toms river is magnificent
Great clean well stocked store. Pleasant employees.
Not corporate so they carry different items in various categories. My reason for the 3 stars is the MASSIVE PIA they were during the Covid lockdown in 2020. It was like being in a communst country standing on line waiting for my ration of TP.I only go here ti shop when I am pressed to do so.
Large shoprite, very well stocked, I forgot I was in new jersey, no alcohol in here lol.
This place makes my Publix dwn south look horrible!!! CANT wait 2 come back
Found everything I wanted. Clean and convenient.
Used to live in the area and stopped in while in the neighborhood. I.miss this store..its clean and organized and stocked.
Great staff from front to back and of course cart staff!
Always the best prices and helpful staff. Sometimes out of specials.
Full parking lot some people have no regard for people.
Produce is 50/50, some good days, some bad days. They have a good assortment and decent prices. I just wish that quit with the 25-cent for shopping carts. Who carries coins anymore? Especially in covid-19 times?
They dont stock enough for the business they get... its not just a local supermarket.
Wonderful and smiling friendly staff. Clean and well stocked
This particular store is clean and reasonably well-run. I dont know why, but their bagels are better than other Shoprite franchises and supermarket chains.Shoprite in general has gone downhill and checking out feels like a trap with who knows what the price will be? Maybe theres a minimum total in the fine print. Occasionally you get the wrong sign up in the produce department. But the real trick theyre playing - and this cant be by accident - is with digital coupons. When you see an advertised price in the circular or in the store, youre probably going to pay more unless you already signed in with your account on phone or computer and checked off the coupon for that product. Its very easy to miss one because theyre not in any particular order. And the coupon only says that particular savings, not the final price. So you cant look at the coupons and know whats a good deal. You basically have to check everything which is dozens of clicks. And thats only if it works right. Their servers are inconsistent so sometimes you get errors when you click. Its entirely possible to think you set up the coupon, get the item in the store, and then pay several dollars more when you check out.Again this isnt the policy of ShopRite of Fischer Bay so much as the whole chain. But it has taken Shoprite from my favorite place for groceries to something that feels shady. If youre counting on the advertised prices, memorize them and keep an eye out at checkout. Or just shop somewhere else, because Trader Joes, Lidl and Aldi are in the area now and none of them play this bait-and-switch garbage.
Very large store, high prices on most items, very expensive meat prices, not a large selection of meats.
Very busy pushy rude people not very nice took an hour to get milk and bread dont come here at 3 o clock on a weekend you might get trampled!
Good place to shop but it is always very crowded. I dont go there too often because of covid.
One of the best supermarkets around.
A store is always clean. Pleasant staff. Management kind and helpful.Always a Pleasant experienceKathy. Mallory. Eli, Devon, Luke,Nancy Aunna. Dan, very Pleasant and professional!!! Great store wonderful staff
Got what I needed and left. Not too crowded
Nice for a supermarket. Staff is friendly. All customers are not stringent covering their noses.
Wish I had a store like this in FL
This has been my go-to grocery store all my life. Good variety of items. Inexpensive prices. Always clean. Staff is eager to assist. A lot of vegan options available.Make sure to use a price-plus card which will significantly lower the prices compared to not using one. Also, Chris is the best guy in the freezer section.
Shoprite is a great food store, however, I much prefer the Wall and Brick stores over this Fisher Blvd. Store as they both have much better discounts and selection of products, esp. In Wall. Went to customer service at Fisher Blvd. Store and they said they just dont offer the extras as the store is owned by a different family. So Shoprite is good, but Id prefer shopping in Wall or Brick when I can.
Not as busy as I remembered when I was younger. Found all our items. Well lit. Will limit number of shoppers due to Covid19 restriction.
I was just at ShopRite on Fischer boulevard last week and from now on I think Ill be going to the one on 37 I witnessed one of the managers yelling at one of his employees in front of a whole bunch of customers to me that is uncalled for and if it was my son I would have went to the manager and told him what for and called up the main office. This kind of behavior from a manager is uncalled for an unprofessional
This place is disgusting, they are not friendly to their workers, I overheard one of the older workers asking extremely sexual questions to a minor. On top of that they do not follow standard COVID protocol, and it is unsafe to be in the store.
Always a great experience...Shelves fully stocked. So many choices.
One of the best food stores that I have visited. Great lighting, food selection, well organized and very clean.
Very nice to shop. Staff very helpful
Food shopping not busy... not bad for a grocery store
The cashiers are always friendly, And a man from produce went out of his way to help me. And the woman who did my cold cuts was an absolute sweetheart. I wish I would have gotten her name.
Quick visit, found what I wanted and used self checkout
David is such an outstanding man. I remember David since he was a teenager working there. He is aiways friendly with every customer. Every workplace should have a David working for them. I left my phone in my cart today which contained my credit card and cash. David found it and search the parking lot looking for me to be sure it was returned to me. Thank you David. I hope he gets employee recognition. He deserves it plus more.
Store is outdated and they try to pack way too much in too small of a place. Navigating is difficult and finding what you are looking for can be tedious. I would recommend the ShopRite on 37 near the parkway if you have the ability to make it over there.
The best place to go shopping
Its a good place to shop its not l8ke ShopRite World Class but its good. They still make you put a quarter in the cart to use a cart. The other ShopRite doesnt do that. Can be an inconvenience if you arrive without a quarter. Its September and they have Zero paper towels and limits on Toilet paper. Thats not so good. Watch when you buy Purdue Chicken Cutlets. It happened twice that a couple of slices in the package were weird on the underside of the cutlet. They meat texture was like Jell-O and it wasnt the day....it was the meat. I had to through the weird slices away.
I dont like it.Lighting is terrible makes me feel like I was in the TWILIGHT ZONE. Not set up like the other Shoprites. Brick Shoprite ROCKS!!!
Enjoy this store and the employees in it.
What really was cool about the store is as I walked through for the first time ever having come to go to the bathroom and get a few pops for a trip visiting from out of town I walked through the isles and is a 65 inch Samsung television for like 449 and I thought thats probably a good price if not its definitely worth the 449 to me I dont know what it sells for other places but and they had like maybe eight of them right in Ohio grocery store has big giant TVs I mean maybe a 20 4/20 or a 32 but this is a 65 inch 4K television in the middle Areil so it is not even like something bring them to Samsung I thought that was pretty cool so I didnt see the entire store I can honestly tell you about everything everywhere but it was bright it was nice that the people were very nice we found plenty of things we needed the prices were reasonable and I just like the cool neighborhood store in the bathroom right up front so that was cool Im great place I think so check it out and support them theyre really nice theyre
Great variety. Clean and polite staff. Store beverages than the one we go.to in Philly
Great store!
I shop here occasionally. Nice store spacious. Great meat and produce
They have everything I need staff is so nice pharmacy staff is so helpful
Yup. They had broccoli. So yea, if you were wondering if they had broccoli....they do. At least they did when I went there. It was on a Sunday. December 6, 2020. I cant be sure that theyll have it when you go...cuz, you know...I dont work there. I dont know when they do their produce ordering so I cant be sure when theyll have it in stock, ya know? Plus other variables such as supplier...and then theres this corona virus going around that could affect whether it is there or not. But it was when I went.
Love shop rite enjoy shopping on Fisher Blvd, workers are very friendly,Just a great place.
Today, I was in the florist department and met a wonderful woman named Maya. I needed a special bouquet for a friend. Maya was working in the produce department and was willing to help me. She did a wonderful job and even put a bow around the vase. She was friendly and went out of her way . I would have never known she wasnt a florist. Thanks so much Maya!!!
Store was packed but got in and out surprisingly fast. Great selection as well
Quality products at a good price better than super stop and shop people here are more accommodating.
I went there today because I had and engagement to go to wont be going back shoprite on 37 is my store cleaner and much much better prepared foods are the best there Fisher store very disappointed.
Recently purchased a fireplace heater to be used in my own fireplace $109.00. My husband and I paid for it at customer service because of the size of the box. We said to the young woman ringing it up hope it fits. We got it home used the measurements on the outside of the box and compared them to our fireplace. Needless to say it was too big. Took it back and an older woman at customer service said they do not take returns. First we dont shop in this shoprite, the girl who originally rang it up heard us say hope it fits and never told us no returns. The older women said in NJ no returns since March because of Covid. No where was a sign posted that said no returns how were we to know.First it was not opened and second it was not something personal and after researching Other stores except Shoprite have lifted their no return policy. Lost $109.00
Great store and very clean and have the products you need.
The store is clean. Employees always willing to help. Store is usually extra busy on Sunday.
Good sales usually. And close by. Not happy with one of the ladies who works at self checkout most the time. She has a HORRIBLE vibe and attitude. When I ask her simple questions she gives me a snippy response and is constantly eyeballing me as if i am stealing. I assume cause i am Puerto Rican with jordans and tattoos . I already have dealt with her behavior on more then THREE occasions and called the store manager. I OWN a beautiful house with my wife and kids and I am a township employee. I assume she thinks im some little kid who is on welfare but I am living better than her I guarantee. I have worked for saker shoprite before i got into the government field up north and i know the sakers, and i was a manager . I would never have anyone with that type of attitude dealing with customers directly like that.
Nice store!
This is the best Shoprite in Toms River. Great Deli and Butcher. They have everything stocked early. This is one of the best Shoprite in NJ
A great shopping experience for anyone with any food needs. If you want great prices and market averages as far as food goes this is the place... however I have gone to other places and they have had lower prices for SOME of the items I bought but in the end the time and amount saved isnt worth going to the extra store.
I live in Florida and I was in New Jersey on vacation I went to ShopRite and bought five boxes of their tea bags they are the best you cant get hot tea in in Florida.
Great service at pharmacy
Not as well-stocked as other Shop Rites. Green peppers had wrinkled skin. Shoppers disregarded aisle directional arrows and social distancing.
Their produce is not very good and rots rather quickly, it used to be much better years ago. Also for those of us who still like to write a check their machines always eat them. Time to upgrade your terminals! The parking stinks, not because they dont have enough of it but because of the way it is set up...the spots are so close and theres no pedestrian walking room. The store desperately needs some competition in the area to shake them awake.
I have to say this Shop rite was off the hook. They had everything we were looking for, neat and fresh. Socially distanced and bright ready to serve!
Never enough organic selection or enough healthy options. The gluten free isle is small and offers minimal choices. The store is constantly over crowded. They dont practice safety measures due to Covid 19. They stopped counting how many can enter the store. The stores always out of paper products.
My go to grocery store
Good selection of meats and quality seafood. I just wish they had a fresh oyster bar.
Great, friendly service and clean even though it is almost always busy.
Wouldn’t honor the advertised sales without me providing my phone number. I don’t think so.Next time I’m going to stop n shop
The Perlmutter Shop Rites always a great food shopping experience!
Good people
Do most my shopping here pretty clean and well kept cant complain will continue to shop here
Has everything a person wants food wise, no long lines to wait on cashier line.
Always find all i need at this Shop Rite
Its a good grocery store. I use the Pharmacy, its ok but they are somewhat disorganized. When your prescription is ready, you still have to wait on the line even though your medicine is ready.
A little sad about the lack of count chocula, but otherwise im throughly pleased with this shoprite.
Very Good Mkt, but supply of paper towels limited to very large size, $13.98.
Its a decent store. Good prices and well stocked. The kids like the cartoon paintings. They lose one star for the horrible parking lot and big crowds.
This store is one that carries a large variety of whatever items it is that you were looking for. Its clean the produce and meat department along with the deli is fresh. The staff are genuinely friendly as I believe many have been there for many many years. They work together as a team and it trickles out to the customer service which I believe is excellent. They are always willing to help with whatever need you have.
I have always liked this Shoprite on Fischer Blvd the best. Has been hard for employees during COVID. Just a thank you emoyees as I see them makes their day.
