I want to mention a sales associate at the Sheridan Dr. Amherst NY store that impressed me today. Its not the small brake light bulb I needed. It was an associate named Steve S that waited on me. Im an older gal in my 70s that was very impressed with the personality, friendliness, and assistance I was given. The biggest impression Steve made was the positive way he talked about his employer, Auto Zone. Was nice to hear that he believes in the Auto Zone name, and mentioned, thats what they are all about...helping their customers. Thanks Steve.

This is a great parts spot. The folks behind the counter are great about helping find affordable/compatible parts and, if they don’t have it, will direct you to someplace that does (usually North Tonawanda location).Almost always have what I need and are genuinely helpful.

I purchased a battery this time. I brought in my old battery from home and they were able to exchange it right out. Its nice to be able to trust a store to have what you need when you need it. I took the new one home, installed it within a few minutes and we were off! The car started right up! The whole process took less than 45 minutes!

Amazing! Wish I would have gotten the cashiers name. He was very knowledgeable. Eventhough they didnt have the bulk headlights (2 pack) I wanted, he gave me a 10% discount for two individual packets to make up the difference. Excellent customer service!!

Usually good deals on oil and filters. Staff is pretty knowledgeable on some basic things, but not great with overly technical info. Theyre always out of meguiars cutting compounds when I need them. Overall, not a bad store. Staff is friendly

Passenger headlight went out. Went in because i heard that with the purchase of a headlamp, they will install for free. Sounds perfect to me. When i got in, I waited about 10 min at the register to be acknowledged. Not because they were busy. I was the only one in the store and no one was around. strike one. I purchased the headlight and we went out to get it installed. I was told that they might break the plastic cover blocking the install of the lamp, so they wont install it. Strike two. The attendant did however give me instructions on how to remove it myself. Fair enough. I do as he says and low and behold, you cannot get to the headlight that way. There is a cover blocking the back electronic panel. After some searching on the web i found that you can only install the headlight from the complete opposite side, from the wheel well. Strike three. This Autozone failed at every step along the way. I will not be going here for anything in the future.
