Can not say enough good things about these guys! Called this morning to see if i could bring my car in to get looked at, and dropped it off at 10. Within 4 hours they had given me a quote, ordered the parts needed to fix my exhaust, and had the work finished! Feels like i was driving home in a brand new car with how quiet it was. I was told if any lights came on to bring car back in less than 24 hours.i bought it back the man assistant manager said he didnot say that a nd told me I had someone set manual before we came.He told us to leave and said if we left the car I would be recharged for work that was already paid for.

I think this place is great. A few comments i have is first i bought a Vehicle from SG auto around 6 months ago and Ive had problems with it since i bought it. The owner Sal told me i paid almost double what it should have cost me to get my truck repaired. I use Value Auto because they are usually good with pricing sometimes there time frame is good other times it takes a couple days. It seems like they have had a few different managers in the past couple years. Is been a few years but i miss when Mike was running the place he would work with you on prices and help you with coupons you did not know were available

Offered transport to my work place for future work to be done being that its my only means of transportation. Basically its a 1 stop fix for a variety of your auto needs.

I don’t think I’ll be back. They are nice and professional except when they make a mistake they take absolutely no responsibility for it. I got my alternator replaced there and a 100 miles later my car breaks down. We were too far to tow it back to them and they said that we should have towed it back 80 miles to them. They also said it could have been a faulty alternator. So we towed it to a nearby mechanic and found out they forgot to plug the alternator in. We called them to let them know and they said well we did all the work. I don’t think I’ll be back to a place that I can’t trust to take responsibility for their mistake and because if it had been something bigger I would have been stuck paying for it. Sad because they seemed really nice

I was a WOULD BE new customer but after calling just now (2/3/21 at 11:55p at the NF blvd location) I will NEVER BE A CUSTOMER. The unprofessionalism of the miserable individual that answered the phone was OUTSTANDING. I didnt think it was possible for someone to lose a potential customer and be so unprofessional, inept and incompetent in less than 30 seconds! What a joke. Thanks for making it easy! I came in for an oil change and when it was finished I asked about the 30 point inspection and how was my brakes percent wise, The guy shook his head and Unsurely said okay. That’s not a big deal then when I got my car it said my oil should be changed in 3000 miles on the sticker above which is standard for conventional but I paid for synthetic. When I told the lady at the desk she didn’t seem unphased of the mechanics negligence, and asked him in this specific manner so they don’t have to resolve the issue “ you filled the car with synthetic oil right“ obviously he’s gonna say yes. If you truly care about your car take it somewhere else or don’t pay for synthetic because you’re going to get conventional

I would have given them a better rating but there was a few odd unpleasant things. First you cant make an appointment which to me is very disappointing. I had to drop my car off for a day for an oil change, that is crazy. The receptionist was pleasant while dropping and picking up my car so that was nice. Additionally odd was the fact that I paid tax when I purchased my groupon so I am just wondering why I needed to pay a second time to them. With any of the millions of groupon purchases I have NEVER paid tax to the facility.

I had a Groupon for an oil change. Staff were polite and accommodating. Did show active concern for covid protocol and my car was ready very quickly.

The receptionist was extremely unpleasant and rude. He got mad because I got there at 5:03 PM while online says they close at 6:00pm..They charged me $350 for new front brakes. Never going back!!

Just find another shop. They charged me $60 for only tightening the wipers and told me that the battery also needs service. I got my car to another shop right after I picked it up and I found that the battery is in great condition. I will never go to this shop again.

Evan does a great job servicing my vehicle every time I bring it in! This shop is reliable and the mechanics are very knowledgeable. I have gotten my breaks, pads, routers and shocks fixed on my car here, as well as a few oil changes. I am more than happy with their repair work every time I receive my vehicle back. My family and I all take our vehicles here and are always satisfied!

I took my vehicle there for a brake job because my normal mechanic was a bit overwhelmed at the time. What really impressed me though was how prompt my vehicle was taken to be looked at. After diagnosis, I was given a written estimate, after which, I approved the job to take place. Excellent customer service/value, but I only give 4 stars, because I anticipated the repairs being done before closing after being taken there early that morning. Really no big deal, but a status update should be given to the if the car is to be held overnight🙂

I took my car there and never again they did an oil change didnt tighten the cap and I got to ferdonia and lost every drop of oil again and they towed it on there fixed it supposedly then I picked it up I got 2 miles down the road and lost all oil again now I have to wait for 2 hours for a tow they will not let me talk to anyone higher up the woman at the desk says she dont have the owners or managers number and if there was an emergency at the shop she would not have no one to I call bull s...t.

For breaks and the like I will return here no problem. However, major work, Im less likely too. I brought my car in for breaks and a check engine light. the light code had them puzzled for what it could be in regards to the cooling system. At one point they asked if I had noticed a temperature spike as my hoses appeared to be collapsed. I said no and they seemed to go about with fixing it. I was then told they needed to order the part and that I could go and bring the car back Monday (this was Saturday). By the time I drove the 4 miles home, the temp light DID spike and I ended up having the car towed back to the garage.When I called this morning to ensure they got the car, they said well remember we asked if the temp was causing problems because we saw the hoses were collapsed? If that could have been an issue, then why did they not replace the hoses and why did they let me drive home and risk my engine overheating? I am now waiting to see how much this is all going to cost me.

But that was not the case at all. what I found was friendly mechanics who really like cars. And took care of my car and only did what I asked for without the usual upsell. Car was brought in with 12,628 miles, I needed front brake pads and rotors, also an oil change and tire rotation, in total $344, Id like to see any place else in Buffalo, NY beat that price. The car runs great now, and on top of that, the pads are warranted for lifetime and rotors for one year. Fantastic job and great employees.

AAA+ ExperienceUsed a Groupon for an oil change, 30 point inspection and tire rotation. I also used their coupon for a $6.95 inspection. When I called for an appointment, they were able get me in the very next day. Service was completed in a timely manner and there were no catches or strings attached when I cashed out. I wouldnt hesitate to bring my car for service here even without the Groupon. AAA+!

Price was good because of Groupon but got my wife’s oil change with Synthetic oil and they put a sticker on her window for 3000 miles instead of 5000 miles. I went back the next day to get my oil changed and they didn’t put a sticker at all when I went back and brought it up they wrote some random number on the sticker that wasn’t even my mileage

Poor customer service and communication. I purchased a Groupon for an oil change that said an appointment was required. However, when I called to schedule an appointment, I was told it was not necessary and that I could just bring my car in. When I got there he told me that he could fit me in in 2 days. He then told me that they do not have appointments and it is first come first serve. While I understand this, I think he could have been more upfront in the first place. Also, the Groupon needs to be updated.

These guys will nickel and dime you for everything. Dont go here for an inspection, or anything for that matter. Found everything possibly wrong with my car, quoted me at $2100. My car is a 2002 but only has 90,000 miles. They dont make money on inspections so they will find anything and everything wrong with your vehicle to make money.

Very unprofessional. Save yourself, never go there, even if you have a coupon. I had a groupon for oil change, tire rotation and complete vehicle check-up. They changed the oil, but did not do tire rotation and when I asked for vehicle inspection report, they said verbally whats wrong with my and what needs replacement, but did not give any printed report or anything. When I asked them why didnt they rotate the tires, they said my tire needs to be changed. I had just inspected 3 months before and it passed the NY State inspection, so I told them, I dont want to change them, could you please just rotate it. They first argued that they dont touch the bald tires, then after argument they asked me to come again. I had to go there three times leaving my work, and finally they rotated the tires.Here comes the worst part. They used power tools on studs of my wheels and broke2 out of five studs. When I took my car to a different mechanic for brake problems, he showed me that and told that this because of not careful while installing tires and using power tools to get their job quickly. I was driving a vehicle with wheel in which there were only 3 studs! How can they play with safety of people. Never go there, I dont know about their prices, but they just want to get everything done quickly so that they can make more money and will screw you up.

Been bringing my car to these guys for a year or two now. They always seem to be in the know of what is going wrong (I always check before I bring the car in) and they never seem to pander about fixing things that dont need fixing. Most of the time I will just do the work myself after getting an appraisal, which does not seem to bother them (...hopefully). As they know that the few things that Im uncomfortable with fixing, such as engine internals or welding, will promptly be booked to be fixed by their more than competent mechanics. And even in cases where I could have fixed the problem, such as when my oil pan gasket needed to be replaced, their price for parts and labor was too good to even pass up. I think some of these negative reviews are from the car dreamers: people who rarely maintain their cars and then are dumbfounded that multiple issues are assessed when they bring in their car for their once-ever-2-year checkup. Oh, and one last thing, the turnaround time here is phenomenal, expect to drop off your car an have it looked at and fixed in an hour or two.

I went in for a inspection and they said I need all new brakes when my brakes were fine. They are scam artist. I unfortunately did the repairs because I needed the inspection done. What a mistake! They are worse now than before!! I wish I read all these poor reviews first! They are scam artist!!

I had a terrible experience with Valu.I went to them with a problem which they said they solved and costed me a lot of money.I had to go back next day with the problem still in place, which they said they will fix it and costed me money again.Unfortunately the problem still exists and I lost a fortune.Never seen something like this before.

Me and my boyfriend bought 2 of these deals thinking that we would get an oil change, tire rotation, and a 30 point inspection. We left my car with them until they were done and then switched to my boyfriends vehicle after. However when we came back for my car I asked them about my tires and they said that they didnt bother doing the tire rotation because people dont like when we touch their tires, so we only do it when the person asks. Being a new customer I had no idea that i was supposed to ask for something that was supposed to be already included in the Groupon. I then asked how the 30 point inspection was and they told me that the 30 point inspection usually includes the breaks and fluids and what not so I asked well how were the breaks? They ended up saying they were fine and my fluids were good. I knew they were lying because my break light was on and I figured it was my break fluid, so when I confronted them about it they started to act like they didnt remember what was good or not, (which is a problem in the first place because professionals usually print out a sheet with all the information on it) so they obviously didnt do the 30 point inspection either. I also know they didnt do it because after I mentioned my break fluid, they ran out there and topped it off, they should have known this if they checked the fluids beforehand like they were supposed to. I was very annoyed and disappointed, and it made the Groupon pretty much pointless because I wanted the tire rotation and 30 point inspection, which I didnt get. I will NEVER go back there again. I wouldnt want to go back there again even if they apologized and offered a free service because the people there seemed shady and I wouldnt trust them with my car again.Overall they didnt know what was going on, what they were supposed to do, had terrible social interactions (they just walked out of the room without letting us know we can go or asking us if we had any questions, which we did.) they lied, they didnt tell us we were supposed to let them know if we wanted the tire rotation or not even though they knew we were new customer because they had to put our information into their computers. They didnt act professional at all! They probably just didnt bother doing the tires and inspection because they are lazy or dont care. It was not busy when we went and even the guy sitting at the computer was almost falling asleep when we went to switch vehicles.I advise anyone who bought Groupons for this place to return them! and if youre just going because you need an oil change or inspection, go somewhere else!

Expect the guy behind the desk to ask you to come into the garage, where he will start telling you that some other part of your vehicle needs to be replaced or fixed to attempt to get more money out of you. Their car parts are garbage and they do not stand by their warranty at all. I got front brakes and rotors installed. After 1 month I brought my Jeep back because they were sticking, getting hot, and making scrating noises. The brake pads were corroded and they told me the rotors needed to be replaced along with the brake pads. They refused to cover the brakes and rotors and told me that it was a faulty caliber that caused the problem. They said only if I buy a caliber from them, that they will cover the parts under warranty.. I had 2 other REAL shops check out my brakes and calipers after this and was told that the brakes and rotors were garbage and need to be replaced, and that the caliper was perfectly fine. After hours of arguing and demanding a manager who wasnt there and on vacation I got the them to agree to replace the rotors and brakes if I agree to sign off that these parts will not be under warranty (which it seems like they werent from the beginning, and I graduated from UB so I was moving back to Long Island so the warranty didnt matter anyways.) Two months later I had problems again with my brakes and my local shop back in Long Island told me that the front brakes and rotors were garbage and needed to be replaced. Dont waste your time, energy, and money at this scam of an auto shop!! Just spend a little more and go to a real shop!!! There is a reason they are the cheapest around...

Do not go to this garage, especially for the NYS inspection. I am a UB International student and bought a Groupon online which gave me 3 free oil change and 1 free NYS inspection at the Valu Auto Care. Though I didnt like this garage, but with the coupon for a free inspection, I went to the garage anyways which turned out to be a beginning of a series of troubles. So the inspection result came out to be that my brake failed to pass and they asked me to change both the brake pads and rotors for my front tire. And I agreed, but then another customer in the waiting room told me the fact that my rotor was still thick enough and its crazy that the garage asked me to replace it. So I went to talk with the boss Scott and asked him to change the brake pads only, which irritated him a lot. He lost his temper and gave a big talk that I had to change it and threatened me that he would failed my inspection if I didnt change both parts. I felt very angry about his impoliteness, but since I was afraid that he would not let me pass the inspection, so I compromised. Anyways, its a new brake, and the price is decent, 300 dollars for the brake. And its understandable all garage wants to make some money. So finally they changed the brake and they also gave my front tire a flat repair since it had a small leakage. I would say this is quite an unsatisfied experience, however, things turned out to be much worse. Just one day after the repair, I found the same tire leaked again and the brake had a squeezing sound. And I could not fill the air into the tire by the air pump like I did before. In conclusion, before the repair, my car is running quite well, the brake is good, the tire has slight leakage but at least I can inflate it by myself. And after this so called repair of more than 300 bucks, they gave my brake a squeezing sound, and made the tire not inflatable. So I went to the garage 2 days later and asked them to fix this problem. But they told me that the tire machine is down and asked me to come another day. So I went there the second time, while they told me they were very busy and had no time to fix the problem. So the third time when I went there very early and left my key there and asked them to call me after they fix it. So at the end of the day, they finally called me and told me they couldnt fix the tire but they adjusted the brake. And the story didnt just end here, right after I left the garage on my way back home, the brake had the noisy squeezing sound again. I was so angry and totally disappointed at the garage, after they wasted me so much time and money, they made my car much worse. And I know I would never go back to this garage again. They never repair your car, instead, they broke it. Highly unprofessional, impolite, no concept of time at all. Somebody may say its cheap, but in this case, they wasted me more money.
