Asked for a thermostat took the guy nearly 15 minutes to get it and turns out its the wrong one. Dont waste your time or money with these guys. Pretty slow store every time I go there the cashiers are always having overly long conversations with people

Former 3 1/2 year employee at this location.Great place to shop for random vehicle accessories and auto parts.However, due to the anti customer attitude behind the scenes, lack of moving up in the company, as well as the picking favorites(example: An employee who sits on his behind all day and waits for someone else to handle a customer before he does so he doesnt have to is more likely to get a Parts manager position than someone who works hard) it is not a great place to work for.Good news is that if you decide to work at this location and need to warranty a part for a vehicle you no longer own, they will do a cash refund, price match it, use that money on the new part, than put the old part in the box regardless if its for the vehicle you dont own any longer or not(same goes if you bought the same vehicle years later and the parts on the new vehicle are not autozone parts).Also not to mention the fact the commercial manager constantly goes out and smokes rather than doing her job and could care less about her customers like Erda Auto Shop or even Clars auto/Royal Auto and likes to make empty promises to those customers just to make them happy.NOTE: This review DOES NOT in any way reflect autozone as a whole and should only be seen as a review for this location and this location ONLY.

AutoZone is the place to go if you need something right away. however you will be paying a lot more than you would if you were to order the part online from different competitors Ive saved hundreds of dollars finding better deals online. the reason why Im writing this review is because I had a bad experience with the employees who refused to give me a receipt for product that I purchased I had to call the district manager to get my problem resolved Plus the in store manager wasnt even wearing a face mask during the covid-19 pandemic absolutely irresponsible!!!! Replace your manager.
This Auto Zone is the best, I have been looking for headlights for my car and everwhere else was out of stock. Kyle went out of his way to replace both of my headlights and my daytime running lights. I 100% recommend this Auto Zone.

Paid $81 + tax for Bosch O2 sensor. When I opened it at home, it was a generic $15 part. NOT Bosch. Staff refused to exchange. I’m thinking, they knowingly gave me a counterfeit part. For reference: Bosch part 15152. The part I received at the store does not have etched part number on it.
Really helps to have an AutoParts store that employs people who know what they are talking about. I went into Autozone in Tooele on Thursday and was going to buy fuel injector cleaner and some other various items to fix my ignition issue and James helped me and instead of letting me waste my money on things that possibly wouldnt fix my issue he instead offered a resolution from his personal experience and it actually fixed my vehicle and now Im back on the road and this parts store has earned my trust and a life long customer from here on out. Used to avoid Autozone and go to Oreillys or NAPA instead but that changed the moment my vehicle was fixed due to that mans knowledge.Much respect. Thank you.

Today, I went to Autozone between approximately 7:30-8:00PM . I went to get my rear passenger light replaced. When I told the two representatives at the front desk that needed a rear passenger light and asked if someone could look at it, I was told they didnt have enough people in the store and to come back tomorrow. But... I did not immediately go away. My father came to replace my light because he was in the area and he spoke with the young man who worked there and was told it is company policy for the employees not to go outside to check any vehicles if there are only two people in the store. I saw this young man go to two separate vehicles to help them with their issue. I have attached the following photos. Yes, the man bent over in the photo in front of the black car is the same employee of Autozone walking from the orange car. If someone is going to offer service, it seems fair to offer the same quality to all customers. I believe it would have taken less time to help me with a rear light than it took help the other customers with their issue.

So I bought a battery with a 5 year warranty they changed it to a 3-year warranty on since they dont offer it anymore and they wont honor their five-year that I bought it with.
I needed new windshield wipers, not only did they look up the size, they took me to where there were stocked & explained the difference to me & once I was done with my purchase they installed them for me. Very pleased with their service.

They really went above and beyond for me and my father when we came into AutoZone. We had just had a bad experience at Jiffy Lube and they tried to up sell us for a bunch of things we didnt need. So we come into AutoZone and not only are the prices great for what we needed, The two ladies working there Jackie and Laura (or Lauren?) were really helpful and found us parts and tools to help my dad fix the top of our air filter. Very understanding, patient, and very friendly staff. Great customer service!!

Get to know your name kinda place, when you walk in and someone calls out your name you feel good about spending your money there. Very knowledgeable team working there so you dont have to know everything about what your trying to do theyll help you figure it out and make sure you get the right part even if it takes a couple returns they wont leave you hanging.
Took in my tax I’d form so they wouldn’t charge me tax. The evening manager said they don’t know what to do with the paper and I needed to send the paper to the IRS. On the paper I handed her witch I filled out and printed from Utah.gov says do not send this to IRS. Today I called about a part they said they had it, i asked them to hold it. I drove 15 miles to get it they couldn’t find the part. I think AutoZone needs to train their employees a little better at least have one knowledgeable person in the store at all times.

I have had several good visits since my bad one at this store. So I changed my review. I got awesome customer service. They let me press on a power steering pulley there in the store so I avoided the rental fee. I bought some sockets and wrenches here. They work great! Especially in tight spaces. Fair prices. They seem to be able to get most parts same day of you order early enough or next day. Overall a good auto store.

Great service! I headed to Auto Zone when someone recommended it after they jumped started my car in the Walmart parking lot. Auto Zone determined that my battery and alternator were both fine. All I needed was a new battery clamp and a good cleaning of the terminals. The store employee cleaned the terminals and replaced the clamp for me. I appreciate the honesty that he did not try to sell me a new battery and told me the cleaning and the clamp was all that was needed. Sure enough, my car started right up! Thank you Auto Zone!

Current Employee, boss chooses sides. I’ve tried multiple times to get Human Resources to take notice but they do not. Seems like I get along with everyone but Bill and his 2 henchman Kyle, and Kristian. Sometimes I’ll send photos to Bill to better notify him of current employees putting items in the wrong places on the shelves. It’s getting so bad that I called in and had Bill find someone else to cover me because I didn’t want to deal with him. I will not fix the stores mess-ups any longer.
I called TODAY at 1:59 pm and spoke with a woman . Told her what I need and stated I would be here to pick up products she gave me price and said she would set aside! My son showed up wrong product and wrong price . I will never use this company again. People need their vehicles and can’t have mistakes like this Auto zone is NOT a reliable company in quotes and or products! Now we have to go all the way to SLC! When I called to speak with a supervisor I got hung up on too! NICE
Its only a few times during our lifetime that we meet exceptionally incredible human beings that go out of there way to do everything possible to make sure you have the best experience as a customer. I am honored to say that, at this Auto Zone, I had the opportunity to meet one of these individuals. His name is Keyton P. And he made sure to go above and beyond and help me with multiple problems I was having with my car. He is incredibly knowledgeable and serviceable. After trying to use a $20 rewards credit and being told that you had to have the physical card, the clerk then processed my purchase and failed to apply the purchase to my rewards account. She then told me that I could correct the problem by going online and entering the receipt number. Seems that she could have been more helpful.

Bought a car battery here at 160.00 want sure if I needed it or if I had an alternator issue. The guy working the counter said if I didnt need it as long as I didnt install it then I could return it no problem. Well I didnt need it and didnt install it. two days after purchase I tried to return it and they wouldnt take it back because if a small scratch on the post witch was there when I purchased it as stated NEVER INSTALLED! So $160 bucks for something I dont need and was assured when I bought it that I could return it. Very unfriendly, and damn rude they all but called me a liar! Worst experience Ive ever had with an auto parts store!! will never shop AutoZone again, and will never recommend this company to anyone.
Each time I have been here for parts and other things the employees are always very helpful. They are generally quick about engaging and helping customers and are fairly knowledgeable.

We went to Auto Zone in Tooele. Our vehicle broke down a quarter a mile away. We had our 3 kids with us in the vehicle and it was 32 degrees outside. I had to walk to Auto Zone. When I arrived I was confronted by Jackie. She was so friendly and caring and understanding about our situation. Jackie was so helpful in finding out what battery I needed for the vehicle. She looked to see if it was on a warranty which it was. She then arranged for me to get a ride back to my vehicle. When I got back to the vehicle we changed the battery out. It kept breaking down. When then ended up back at Jackies store. And Jackie checked the alternator and that ended up being bad. She then sold me a alternator and with the assistance from a mechanic that assisted us changing the battery he also changed the alternator at the store. Jackie was so kind to the children she talked with them as the alternator was being changed out. She always had a smile and very comfortable to talk to. At the end Jackie made sure we could get back to West Jordan by checking the system again. The employees that was working that night were amazing especially Jackie.Thanks again Jackie and staff

Each time I have come the gentleman working have always helped me with the items I bought for my car. Today was a little different, I needed to change a fuse and the gal assisting my check out did not offer to help. I came in 2 more times asking questions how to change the fuse and she only told me she didnt offer to bone out to do it. I have had better service, but she was friendly.

I am very picky about what parts I put on vehicles AutoZone stands by their warranty like they should their parts are good quality and last the only problem Ive had with AutoZone and it seems to be a new one they are a little understaffed and have a hard time answering the phone but if you go in there and be patient they will get you the parts that you need back there warranty up and youll do well with them and their tool loaning program is fantastic

I had to get my battery replaced. I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado. I normally have no problem changing a battery, but chevy put a ton of stuff on top of the battery. So I asked the guys for help and they came out and. Changed it for me! It was awesome.

If I could give a lower star I would. The employees are very ill- trained and unhelpful. Everytime I have gone in, I have been given the wrong parts or they do not put my purchase under my name so I was unable to return a loaner tool. The employees that helped with the purchase were there and hid in the back and claimed they were off the clock and refused to offer any help and the employee helping me refused to look it up by other parts I purchased. I will not be giving this location any more business or any good reviews until they have a change of staff or better train their employees. I DO NOT recommend this location to anyone if you want good customer service or parts. Go to Napa or Oriellys.
I called in and told them what part I needed and what make and model of car i had. Was quoted a price. When my daughter got home with the part they had given her the right part but for a different make and model of car. When I returned it for the right part they refunded the money to my card and then told me my card was denied for the right part. The wrong part was more expensive. Instead of exchanging the parts as refunding the difference I was told I would get the money on my card in 3-4 days. I needed the part for my vehicle to run. Then they told me thatthey only had one part left in stock and it might be sold before i got my money refunded.Poor customer service.
This place is a joke. Most of the staff are clueless and will argue with you over what you need. I dont trust their tests at all. Everything they test seems to need to be replaced when I can take it somewhere else and it will pass a test and still run for a long time. It really sucks as Autozone is usually the best place to go but this particular store is terrible.

Went here to get an ignition coil as the auto zone in west Valley said thats what my check engine light said I needed. Well itd been a few weeks so we decided to have the light checked again just incase. The lady that was to help us immediately had an attitude when we asked for this, then when the code read it was my catalytic converter (which is a much more expensive part then what I came to get) my husband simply mentioned the last check read the ignition coil but before he could finish with his sentence she cut him off with a snappy attitude saying well this is the only code on here,do you want the part. The ignorance of this womens attitude will have us going to orileys from now on.
Terrible service at this store. After spending thousands of dollars at Autozone, the camels back finally broke after yet another horrible experience in an autozone. I will not be bringing my business back and am writing this after leaving O’riellys with my first purchase. It was a further drive but at least I didn’t leave feeling livid. Adios Autozone
