Mcabee’s coordinated my car rental and communications with my insurance company. I had very short waiting times, and everything went very smoothly.

I brought my car here after being in my first accident! And Bryan took great care of me! Super great customer service and 100% cares about his customers! Always keeping me updated and true to his words! They had my car a month which was excepted with the repairs that needed done! And I couldn’t be more happy with this location! I won’t take my car any where else for repairs !

I had struck 2 deer and had my car towed here. Early the next day I received a call letting me know it had been totalled out. They walked me through what would happen when my insurance would call. Staff was extremely nice and i would definately use them again if needed. But here is hoping I dont need them any ti.e soon

My car was sent to McAbee CARSTAR after it was in a wreck. They did an excellent job fixing the damage. The paint job was right on as well. I was also given courtesy calls as well as text messages giving me updates on how the repair progress was going for my car and gave me an estimated time for my car to be ready and it was even ready a day early. I was very mu recommend this place to everyone. I don’t know what their prices are because the other party in my wreck was responsible and their insurance paid. I dont really know about value but since insurance paid both times Im sure it was appropriate. They do quality work. They are always done on time or early. My car has been hit 2x in the last year and both times were repaired by McAbee. I wouldnt go anywhere else. The communication is really good. If additional damage is found they call and send the new estimates to insurance. Office staff is fantastic, very professional. They take better care of my car than I do and it always comes out cleaner than when it went in.

Israel did a fantastic job of communicating with me through the repair process. Even when specific parts had to be ordered in for my vehicle, he and the Carstar team kept me informed and worked hard to get my vehicle back to me as soon as possible.

Everything about this place was awesome. Great friendly staff, excellent repairs, fast service, easy estimate process, and over the top service. They even cleaned and detailed the interior of my car when they were just fixing a front and rear fender damage. They provided updates along the way for the repair. Entire staff did a great job.

The crew was very professional. They got the the truck done on the date they said it would be done. When receiving the truck back I found that the truck had been completely detailed inside and out. I’ve been to several body shops and have never had this level of detail and quality. This is a shop that cares about the quality of their work and the customer they serve and it shows.

This place is fantastic. I had insurance repairs done and got my hood painted. They checked all options to get me the best price. They are also very friendly and keep you informed on the status of your vehicle until its done.

I feel like they did a good quality repair as for fit and finish. They were in my opinion fair in price, and inline with quotes I received elsewhere, and I checked almost all local Topeka shops. The truck had some misses in the finish cleaning detail, dust under the hood, fingerprints. Emblem installed crooked but they agreed to fix it. The personal touch left a little to be desired after an encounter I had with their representative going over the repairs upon picking the vehicle up. The crooked emblem mentioned earlier opened the door on an issue about paint work that was originally underestimated by the representative. He was indicating it took more work than he originally thought, and he felt like he did me a favor by repainting a complete tailgate as opposed to spot painting and blending. We were both upset and had an exchange, I also could have used better words during the exchange, so I took my share of blame, but he wasnt having it when I pointed this out and apologized. I escalated the issue to the service manager who was very professional and said simply that the emblem was crooked and he would fix it without question. All things considered, I am satisfied and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them, but when you are handling a customer spending just under 4k dollars, DONT ARGUE OVER PEANUTS! I know this is long but I wanted to be fair and accurate. Friendly service is the perfect compliment to a quality repair 😉👍

I was like a kid screaming about getting a hair cut. I didnt think what I has to settle forwas what I wanted, but it turned out to be what I needed. The beige driver seat in my Trooper needed replacing; it had busted springs in the seat and skirting around seat was badly broken. Because of a mis communication about time: a gray seat was put in. I was prepared to be extremely irritated. But...when I saw it I was surprised and didnt realize it was gray until I got closer. Then I noticed my tires were gleaming and the dirt around the door openings was gone. The Trooper looked cleaner than when I dropped it off. The price was fair. More than fair considering ths service I received. Thank you McAbee.

If your looking for people that treat you and your vehicle like family this is the place. They take care of everything start to finish. The communication is top notch. They explain every detail well and make sure you and your vehicle are taken care of with every respect ad they would treat their mothers.They are also a preferred and trusted location for my insurance (state farm) so I dont have to have an adjuster out separately to look at my truck for an estimate. I really hate being without my vehicle but the last 3 times its been here when Ive gotten it back its been detailed and shiney like the day I got it. Best part almost id say.

I havent used McAbee CARSTAR in years because I havent lived here in a number of years, and I havent needed them since Ive been back. Thanks to a recent incident and a back-up accident at my nieces elementary school (starting to think those parking spots are jinxed), I needed repairs. Still have that 2nd repair pending, too. Anyway, I just picked up my car today, and the repair looks as good as it did when I first bought the car brand new some years ago. Im so impressed! I will definitely have the accident repair done there as well. Worked with Israel Marquez. Hes great to work with and an awesome person to talk to. Friendly service, they made sure everything was done right after I was sideswiped in KC. They kept me updated on the status of the repairs and when we couldnt make it until 10 minutes after Friday closing time to pick up the vehicle, one of the guys stayed late so we wouldnt get charged for our rental over the weekend. Our van was nearly destroyed by a huge buck. It required numerous engine component and body replacements.The service rep Israel, was updating us on repairs nearly everyday. They finished the job a week early and the work was outstanding. The van was spotless. We bought it brand new and they returned it to us a little better than brand new. Wow!

Took 2 hours for 5 minutes. While waiting I tried to make conversation with the receptionist who was being friendly with her co-workers.. She was rude and acted like she was too good to talk to me. Little does she know I probably know more about cars then 87% of the people in there especially her. A friendly face is usually what employers look for when filling a receptionist position.

The day before we left for our two week vacation to Ireland my wife was in a car accident. I called Mcabee and spoke with the General Manager, Kory, about what he could do to help me out. Kory first asked if everyone was ok, which I thought was very thoughtful. Next he offered to get me a wrecker to tow the vehicle to his shop. The tow was not necessary. I drove it down there and dropped it off. We flew out on vacation the next day. After receiving my email, Kory proceeded to deal with the insurance company directly. I recieved updates on how the progress was going while we were away. My wife was very concerned, but thanks to the regular communication she was able to enjoy her vacation. When we returned the vehicle was clean, and all repairs were done. I now am a regular customer at the shop. When I go in to the shop everyone from the General Manager, Appraiser, Detailer, Office Manager, and even the Owner call me by my first name as well as ask how everything is going. While you can give your business to anyone, I prefer to give my dollars to people who care about me, personally, as much as my business. I highly recomend this shop to anyone who asks.
