I have been considering buying a Ferrari California for some time and finally everything lined up for me with the icing on the cake being a 2011 model coming into the used inventory at South Bay Ferrari, just down the street from me.I contacted them and they explained it was being prepped and would be available the following Friday or Saturday and promised to call me back to confirm.Eddie called me as promised and we arranged for me to test drive the car on Saturday, he noted he would not be available himself but would have his associate look after me. This was already a good experience and it was about to get better.My wife and I arrived a little early and were warmly welcomed and offered coffee and water while we waited in the lounge. Along came Harmony who took the usual details needed for a test drive then walked us out to the car. She was very genuine and interested in why we were considering the car and was very helpful in explaining were all the controls were. She even hopped in the back seat such as it is and off we went.I fell in love with it, who wouldnt but again, no fuss, no drama, no pressure. She took my details and proposed payment information and promised that Eddie would call back Monday, then showed us around the top floor and some of the vehicles storied there.I am not sure if this is typical of Ferrari dealers but I have to say its different from all my other car buying experiences.Long story short, Eddie turned out to be the GM of South Bay and had sold the car to its original owner, we struck a deal, mostly via email and got all the paperwork done. The car needed some minor additional prep and would likely be ready the following Friday or Saturday.Much to my delight the car was ready Friday and in we went and Harmony took me through the paperwork while I sipped on an Espresso, then it was on to go over the car which was in the main showroom. Again this surprised me since its a used vehicle but its these extra details that made it really special.And now I own my first Ferrari, it was the nicest and easiest vehicle purchase ever and I really do feel like I was welcomed into the family by people who are just simply passionate about the brand.Thank you everyone at South Bay Ferrari, see you when my 1st service is due!
Shane was an excellent sales representative. We were looking for a Ferrari California preowned. We liked one but already sold. He educated a lot about the vehicles. We are still looking and will follow up next week to see if they get anymore
I walked into their store today to see the Roma and Portofino.I was greeted very warmly by the receptionist. She was very nice and referred me to Brendan for my questions regarding the cars.Brendan was very helpful and answered all of my questions, including informing me that the Roma would be released at a later time.He was very hospitable, patient and kind.I didnt walk in looking like $$$$$$$, yet I believe he treated me just as kindly as he would have if he thought Id buy the car right on the spot.I would recommend anyone looking at the Ferrari ask for Brendan.

The staff is always very friendly, efficient, and professional. The service bay is clean and well organized. Visit upstairs if you want to see more selection than the few cars that are downstairs in the showroom window.
