This was my first time trying Japanese Cheesecakes. Service was fast and friendly. The store is inside the mall and very clean. We gave the Chocolate and Original a shot.The original kind of tastes like an angel food cake. Flavor is not strong so it’s like a bland cake with a nice flavor. Nothing overpowering and nothing creamy. The texture is fantastic and melts in your mouth. The top part is a bit sticky.All in all very addictive.It’s something that I liked but not sure I would be eating more of it anytime soon. Once in a while maybe.

I’m only giving them a 4 because it would be nice if the cheese cakes came with instructions on how to store them and for how long? But I’m sure they wouldn’t last 1 hr! These things are so darn good! The texture and flavors are amazing, melt in your mouth kinda goodness! Wish I would had bought 1 of each flavor. Will definitely be back here when I come back to town.

7/28/2021This is a cheesecake paradise!!!! Can I just say beside the Taiwanese cheesecake that I had a couple years back; this Japanese cheesecakes are game changer. My sis and I ended up buying all the flavors they have, and for $11 and some change it’s worth the wait and drive. It was so moist, fluffy and to die for!!! There was only one person working and she did an amazing job at everything. She explained everything very well and how to store them bc I have to bring them babies all the way to Atlanta. There’s not enough words that can explain how good these cheesecakes are. Please give it a try and judge them for yourself. Until next time!!! Peace

Such fluff!! An extremely airy cheesecake that is like a hearty and more fulfilling sponge or angel cake! This is one of two locations in Los Angeles. This one is inside the Del Amo Fashion Center so you can shop and end things sweet with this dessert!You really cant go wrong with any of their flavors and they also feature seasonal flavors too! They had Black Sesame when I went, but were sold out! Instead, I got the Ube flavor and was happy with it. A nice subtle ube flavor with the airy cheesecake texture. Not as decadent, but delicious in its own way!

The lightest, most delicious cake you will ever put in your mouth. Buy a whole one. Pretend youre sharing it later with your friends, then eat it yourself.Pumpkin or matcha are favorites of mine.

Yes!!! After a failed attempt to actually get jiggly Japanese cheesecake in Japan, I was elated to find Uncle Tetsu in Del Amo Mall.They only had ube and strawberry flavors this afternoon, so I went with the ube. At $12, this ain’t cheap... but after the taste test... THIS IS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!The cheesecake was light and fluffy and moist with a very delicate ube flavor. So subtle that you can barely taste it (or the cheese) at all. I got a hint of egg in the cake, which is probably what helps make it so fluffy. The cake is a bit oily, which probably contributes to the moistness.Two thumbs up from me for this decadent splurge. Can’t wait to try other flavors in the future. 😋

Cake is good but not creamy like most cheese cakes. Could go buy 2 NY style cakes at trader Joes for price of one small here. Not good value.

Ive had Japanese cheesecake before from other places. Got the original flavor and this place is good and really fluffy. The fluffiness is what sets this place apart from the others Ive had. Im really interested in trying the other flavors they have, strawberry, chocolate and coffee. Will definitely be back.

Their regular cheese cake is so light it’s almost like a sponge cake while the burnt basque is still light but closer to conventional cheese cake in texture. Both are very good. The Oreo one has a cream filling and is probably the best cheesecake I ever had.

I’ve been a fan of Uncle Tetsu cheesecake for many years. However, I was disappointed that they do not honor the loyalty cards they gave out. I was there last week and wished to redeem a cheesecake but the staff told me they no longer accept it. Although I was there just a week before and no one mentioned anything about it when the staff punched the card. I have also reached out to them online and there’s no response.This whole experience makes me reconsider. There are other Japanese bakeries that make really good cheesecake, I’d rather support them.

A place for delicious Japanese cheesecake. If youve never had Japanese cheesecake, then its a must try (at least once). Its light, fluffy, airy and not too sweet (unlike traditional cheesecake that can be pretty heavy). They have good drinks here as well. They have many different flavor cheesecakes but my favorite would still be the original.

Came here cause a lot of people had hyped up the place..Place is located in the Mall at Delamo, so if you want to do a quick pick up its not going to happen.The pie was ready quick and that was cool that we didnt have to wait long to get it.Flavor was cool was worth the hype but its not a bad desert to pick up while shopping.Prices are fair and not crazy.Overall its good, fair price, no long lines so its worth a try.

Memorial Day Weekend 2019Located inside of the mall, we expected long lines, and we got just that. However, to our surprise the line shrunk very quickly.We ordered the traditional cake.Within seconds we paid, were handed the case, and were on our way. All-in-all, we were there for less than 10 minutes.The cake though. None of us thought it was as good as advertised. In fact, we all felt that some individually wrapped Japanese cheesecakes that we tried at the same time, had just as much flavor and quite a bit less money.

I drove all the way from Mexico just for this cake. However, on the website it says opening hour from 10 am -10 pm, when I got to the shop was like 9.30pm and it was closed. I rushed it to the shop from Mexico border but came back with disappointment. Hope u would keep the trading hours based on the website described otherwise I do not know how many people would be fooled by this misstatement.

I dont know what they put in that coffee cheesecake, but it tastes soooooo good! Im addicted!

This cheesecake is more like a fluffy cake. Super tasty and light. Its not a refrigerated cheesecake you get at the Cheesecake factory. I could eat the whole cake in on setting because it is that small. 11/5 would buy because you need to eat this cheese cake that melts in your mouth like a krispy kreme doughnut compared to cake style doughnuts.

Japanese cheesecake. Inside the Del Amo Fashion Center shopping mall. It was delicious with my first chocolate challenge. It was sold out the second time, so when I ate the original cheesecake, the original was still delicious. It can be eaten lightly and fluffy. It is expensive and the service so slow. Have a coffee so cold that while waiting for other orders.
