We do love Robbins Brothers, but I wouldnt feel comfortable taking pictures, they might think I am casing the place. We upgraded the Mrs Diamond and this was a ring cleaning and inspection. But I had to use the restroom. And this was on the back of the door, read it, too funny. Great place definitely amazing customer service, far above.
My boyfriend Alex and I came here two weeks ago to look for engagement rings. We had an appointment with Johanna, she was very patient with me as I tried on about 20 different rings. I had emailed her my wishlist and she had all the rings in store ready for me to look at. It felt like we were talking with a friend rather than a sales person and it took the pressure off of us and made us feel comfortable. I ended up finding a ring I fell in love with, and Johanna was able to find us a beautiful diamond within our price range. It took around 3.5 hours total and it was a great afternoon spent with my future husband. Thank you to Johanna for helping us!

I can’t tell you much about buying from here since I wasn’t involved in that part, but post-purchase, this store has been great. I come here regularly (maybe 2x/year) to clean/service my ring. All employees I’ve encountered are super friendly and helpful. Pre-COVID, there was a coffee machine in the waiting area.

I am updating my review because the sales representative called me personally and apologized. The person was not having a great day. Not many people apologize for their wrong doings and I truly appreciate the persons extra mile. I have erased the persons name out of courtesy. I will still be keeping the original story up but changing my stars.I’ve been a customer for 7 years and they have lost me as a customer!! I’m literally in the parking lot waiting for my items. I’m too upset to leave until I get my items back. It’s Father’s Day and the rep is terrible at customer service talked down to me. Telling me that my peace of mind was entered incorrectly and will fix it this time. I’m appalled at the customer service how is it my problem that their associates entered my information wrong ?! I paid for everything. person was annoyed I didn’t have my pamphlet I called in advanced to make that was ok, person said it was ok they can look me up. Now the person told me if they are any diamonds missing from my wife’s ring that I will have to pay out of pocket because I waited too long to come down for a cleaning. It was covid for an entire year ++ then person said they were open. Sorry person I have a newborn I wasn’t going to risk going to stores when I have a young baby at home it wasn’t essential to come get a cleaning. Then person said I could have mailed it. Mailed expensive diamonds in the mail?!?! Have they lost their mind?! While I remember when I was going to the store everyone was so friendly and even a lady came by that hasn’t been at the store for 10 years and they accommodated her and didn’t give her any problems no restrictions. I can’t believe this person. needs to be replaced. Or re-trained because of I will this person l no longer be shopping here. I will also be telling my friends and family to avoid this company..and I will also be reposting this review to any outlet that lets me post this. People need to know how horrible customer service is treating their customers after such an awful year with covid.

We will treasure those memories forever and we can really attribute that to Matthew who looked after us. He made it such a special experience for us. Expensive but worth it. We can see rings in person and the staff taught us a lot about rings, gems etc. The process was really smooth, they walk you through all the steps easily and tell you everything you need to know.
Diamonds r beautiful & the box but when you get sales people nit listening or making you feel their better then yrself, its not the ace I like to or go, I love my ring because its given n♥love by my husband. Other then that I stay with Zales👰

Initially a 5 star as they were very helpful but watch out for the sales tactics. I gave them my budget and they were constantly pushing me towards a higher price point. Ended up spending a lot more than I wanted to.When I went back to pick up the ring they couldnt find the wedding band. I waited 20 minutes and then when they did find it they hadnt even sized it! now I have to wait a few more days. Very disappointing service from a company that I thought was better than this!

I initially went around October since they had an event with Verragio. My fiancée made the appointment to go to the event weeks ahead with Brandon. We arrived and everything worked out perfectly. Brandon related to us as a couple because I wanted my fiancée to have her ring to her liking. When my ring arrived I returned and I wasnt able to work with Brandon because he was moved to another store. At that point we started to deal with Valerie. She didnt know what we had discussed with Brandon and my fiancée had to start order all over because Valerie didnt understand what was discussed with Brandon. I had a terrible experience with Valerie Spencer and Matthew Brown. I wanted for my fiancées bands to be perfect but I had to settle since they came late and Valerie took FOREVER to get a picture of the cad we wanted. Not only that, she charged us $300 more for the picture to see how the ring was going to look like. Then when she finally sent the picture it was not visible and when I asked for her to send me another picture she ignored me and did not respond to my email. Thats when I meet Matthew Brown since Valerie couldnt help us Matthew took over the most important day came when I had to go pick up the bands. They were not to my liking with a face of dissatisfaction and disappointment. Matthew instead of helping me, he just rushed me to take the bands and said he would call me or text me if they didnt work out with my fiancée. The next day and never called me back or texted me. I spent 13k for these rings and I got the worst experience when it was supposed to be a great experience since Im getting married. Thank you for ruining something memorable. I DO NOT recommend this store to purchase an engagement ring for the special day. Go somewhere else.

Great place to get your rings, fix, cleaned, or resized. They did a fantastic job restoring and resizing a vintage ring that was passed down from my mom. Would definitely recommend their services compared to Morgan jewelers. I paid $130 to get a small ring sized up from 4 1/2 to 5 7/8. Morgan Jewelers in Rancho Palos verdes peninsula center quoted me $350 for the same service. Robbins bros way better over all!
I was engaged on 2/8/20 and my fiancée let me pick my own ring from Robbins Brothers. We went in and we were helped by Matt he was absolutely amazing to work with and would only want to work with him in the future, he was so kind and compassionate and we were blessed to have been referred to him. He truly cared about us as a couple and not making a sale, but genuinely treated us like we were his family and helped find me the most perfect, beautiful ring. I love the ambiance of the Robbins Brothers Torrance store all staff were smiling and friendly and made us feel comfortable.. We had so many options and choices of their top quality settings and stones, but shout out to Matt because he made our special moment happen, and would recommend anyone going in to look for great service and someone that honestly cares and gets to know you to ask for Matt! I first met Robbins Brothers at the Hunters Point Open Studios. Her work is incredible. Her jewelry is inspired by nature (sprout, pod, leaf, eucalyptus...) without being crafty and has an organic quality that really appeals to me.Shes also a super nice person.

My fiance purchased my engagement ring from Robbins Brothers, and I am writing this review on both of our behalves. He chose Robbins Brothers because the salespeople were friendly and helpful, specialized in antique jewelry, and did not put pressure on him at all to buy any specific ring. My ring is beautiful and unique - and the store was able to have it re-sized for me in a very reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend Robbins Brothers.

Extremely pleased with Robbins Brothers commitment to customer satisfaction. I purchased a wedding band from Robbins Brothers in 2010 and have been pleased with the purchase to date. Recently I had a warranty issue arise with the ring (due to a lost diamond). Both Adam, at the Torrance location, and Matt, at Corporate, were very pleasant to work with and helped me to get the issue resolved quickly and fairly. In this particular case they exceeded their obligations to insure that my wife and I were pleased with our ring repair and that we received the ring back quickly. I would repeat business with both Robbins Brothers and the Torrance location.
We went in for a routine ring cleaning, our first at this location and by chance we got paired with Socorro. By the end of the night, I was getting a wedding band and we planned some upgrades to my ring. And Socorro was a complete master when it came to answering our questions, showing us options and overall making what might be a crazy visit to a ring store, a dream experience.Socorro knew exactly what we were envisioning and while it was a week without my ring, it was well-worth it--my ring feels like the ring I was supposed to be wearing all along (we had a budget wedding, and at the last minute picked up a ring for the service, protected by the peace of mind guarantee). Wow! This Robbins brothers is amazing. Today is my 11 year wedding anniversary and with all the craziness of the day I forgot to get my rings cleaned. On our way to dinner I called to find out what time they closed and it was 7, I was calling at 6:35 explaining to a nice gentleman named Brandon that I had to get my ring cleaned before our celebration he said not to worry hed speak to his manager and let them know I was coming in and they would help me when I got there. Long overdue for my review. But I remembered so well like it was just yesterday. I was here with my husband before we got married to purchase our wedding bands. The sales associate who helped us, barely recognized my presence. Two female caucasian associates are completely flirting with my husband. They talk to my husband more, instead of acknowledging that I am the bride to be. They hardly look at me, they are so busy flirting and taking to my husband, they even told him they are hiring they want him to be a part of their team.Geez....they have the nerve to do it right in front of me. How rude!I felt left out and ignored. Didnt expected that type of behavior and poor treatment as a customer. I expected them to be more focus on the bride instead of the groom. Specially a girl to girl talk even they have to pretend for a little while.Not so happy with my entire experienced here.

My husband & I went into the Torrance location. Started off with Matt. Then we got passed over to Lumi to help us further our search. This was a special wedding ring as we’ve been married 12 years & it was time for an upgrade. I am very picky & indecisive, so Lumi’s patience & knowledge was so helpful. She explained things we’ve never heard before about diamonds in particular. She was very very knowledgeable. She stayed with us past closing, until I finally found “the one”. We picked my actual diamond to go into the setting. And had to leave it there overnight & picked up the next day. It is absolutely gorgeous! It made me teary eyed as it was much better than expected! Socorro, our sales lady, was patient and very helpful in our ring selection, providing me several styles to try on, and really got to know my taste and style. They have a waiting area for the little ones with toys and a TV, and refreshments. The sales process was quick and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely return.

I recently purchased an engagement ring through this location and from my first visit to my last I was treated with honesty, respect, care and understanding and they helped me to create an absolutely beautiful engagement ring. Barbara, Brandon and Alex all had to deal with my very specific and unwavering requirements and took every challenge in stride, doing whatever they could to help. Being a bit of a perfectionist and wanting to give my future life partner nothing short of the very best, it was for me, extremely stressful. I did weeks of research visited several different Jewelry stores and bought different diamonds in order to compare them side by side. When I picked up the ring for the first time, I examined it in the daylight next to the other diamond I was about to return. I was almost sick to my stomach. It was painfully clear to me that the other diamond was far superior and it wouldve haunted me for the rest of my life everytime I saw it on her hand. I could not give it to her knowing I had compromised in any way. So, 3 hours after I picked up my ring, I got in my car and drove about 50 miles in 30 minutes back to Robbins Brothers. I walked up to the manager Barbara and asked her to switch out the diamonds, expecting to pay some hefty fees. Instead, she got me a drink and said lets see if we can switch it out right now. I was able to watch as they switched out the diamonds and she accepted the return with no additional fees. I walked out an hour later with the perfect ring. All in all Robbins Brothers of Torrance took what was for me, an incredibly stressful experience and made it as painless as it could possibly be. Bravo.

We went to Robbins Brothers over a year ago because my wife, girlfriend at the time, and I have been talking getting married. We met with Lumi and she was great. She helped us find a nice engagement ring for my wife that she absolutely loved. Lumi was so great that we ended up becoming friends and continue to go to her whenever we need anything.

Very poor customer service. They had 2 months to prepare my wifes wedding ring for our wedding in May.... now saying it wont be ready until July. No compensation offered and the excuses keep coming... dont go here if you want a ring on time.

I have to speak up for those couples that think they are getting a good deal. Elizabeth Tapia was our representative she calls herself Liz PLEASE whatever you do DO NOT go to her. Elizabeth is manipulative and deceitful!!!! I picked out two different engagement rings that were designed very similar. Liz quoted me 2500 for one and 1300 for the other not including my wedding band which was 1350. When it came time to look at the diamonds and close the deal she switched rings thinking I wouldnt catch the switch. I had to tell her NO i picked the other ring. I originally told her I had a budget of 4-5K so she thought she could switch rings and keep me at the higher budget rather than be honest. Oh thats not it!!! I should of walked out then but I gave her a second chance once she said Oh, oh Im sorry I wasnt paying attention. Our bill came to 2800 and so I asked for a 2400 cash payout she agreed. What she DID NOT tell us was that the diamonds were like monzonite diamonds NO WAY worth 2500 but thats not the worst she printed our receipt NO RETURN/NO WARRANTY and then babbled her way through the rest of our visit so we would not understand or catch what she was doing. SHE NEVER TOLD US THE POLICY that we could not return or exchange she NEVER once said this is a final sale or anything of that nature. Who makes a 2,400.00 cash purchase with NO warranty NOT ME, but Im now stuck with this ring thats not even worth close to what I paid for it. When we called the very next day she said once again Oh oh Im sorry I thought I went over thatDO NOT GO TO HER unless you want to get ripped off!!!!
