I didnt get what I wanted but the people were nice. You better speak Spanish!
Quiet and it has everything you need from a Latino Hispanic market.
You like horchata?This is the place to get it.In a cup with ice....got it.In a cartón name brand..... got it.In a gallon for a man.....G. O. T. it.
Yummy chocoflan.. First time trying and it was delicious. Definitely recommend.
Covid19 compliant/considerate. Always stocked. Friendly staff. Good products, good prices 👍
Located in West Carson Street. Has a good enough parking lot with two bank of America atm machines. They were always following the pandemic saftey precautions. Has a huge collection of vegetables and fruit section. They even has green chille in small size. They also have a very good meat bakery section. Shelves are always full and stacked with merchandise. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. If you are looking for some latino only ittems this is the place to go around Carson and Torrance. Staff is bery friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff, bi lingual workers who take the time to help you get groceries. There were friendly people waiting outside to help you with your home projects if you had any. Very nice store.
A typical and well stocked hispanic market. Friendly and helpful associates !
MY FIRST TIME HERE AND I DIDNT LIKE IT IS REALLY DURTY AND IS A MESS HERE
Real good quality in the produce department specially the avocados and papaya him in a couple of days.
Love this place its better to shop there rather than shop some expensive name brand store and pay twice as much. At Numero uno the staff are awesome and helpful. If you want great food with a great price and number 1 staff then this is your place!!
Theyre very helpful they help you in the store especially when youre a senior citizen and I like that
I love this place..I shop here often!!
Not bad, but I liked it better when they were sanitizing the shopping.cart handles and handing out disposable gloves. Also I really find it disgusting when shoppers pinch the fruit, and or take samples of the grape bags.
My mom today went into the store to shop for some groceries she had just gotten out of work and my moms card was denied because her card was blocked and got her problem solved and one of the employees told her “if you don’t have any money then why bother to come” I did not appreciate your employee saying that. As a person that works in customer service that is so unprofessional and so rude. If she simply doesn’t like her she should just quit or get fired. She’s lucky I didn’t catch her name.
Well you see. They good. 😂
Local typical chain Mexican market but owned by what looks like an Indian or Middle Easterner. Produce is usually about to expire, not the greatest. I bought a pack of fresh garlic once and when I used them for cooking that evening they had no aroma and were dried up. The meat department is not so appetizing. It smells bad like death and rotten. Sometimes the meat has odd colors. Some products on the shelves look old and like 99 cent store quality but they hike up the prices. The bakery department looks ok but Im still too scared to eat it. They do offer hot foods to eat but again Im not ready to try anything because the store just looks like bad quality and unsafe. They usually have 1 cashier and a long line. But if they have more than 1 cashier they are still really slow and the wait can be really long to checkout.
Seems ok but had security gaurd on several occations fefusevto let me bring wheelchair in to store i use as walker and need it withme very inconvenient im disabled by anyins definition and cant walk far or stand very long pricing only ok but cashers very helpfull and returned my phone i left at checkstand will go again snd have been msby times but the secuity guards always have a probkem with wheelchair DVid Harbertson
The Numero Uno market on Carson in Torrance was nice, good selection clean, good smell even in the meat dept. Good sanitation on baskets and sanitizer conveniently placed. Very courteous and had everything I need.(Note: I didnt like the Numero Uno on Figueroa and 91st street market, very smelly, bad ventilation, not very clean, and had to go to the other above-mentioned market to get all items needed i.e. a box on tilapia, raisens, dixie fry, ginger ale)
Love this place. From friendly people who work there too great meats and produce. If you live to BBQ, yes live not love theres a difference this place is for you.
Meats r great good price fish 🐟is fresh
They took like 15.minutes to serve menudo.
They water down the schrimpSelling Water for $9.00 a pound. I boycott them.
One female employee was very rude. I Took my mask down to answer my phone she got in my face and ran to report me to the manager. Very embarrassing.
👍
Love the fresh fruit & vegetables and butcher variety at reasonable prices for all my Asian & Mexican dishes.
Spanish market, but they have Asian products too.the place is clean, employees are helpful, they smile when you enter the door...
Exellent serviceSuper clean
Good deals
Good service lots of fresh Mexican ingredients for Mexican delicious dishes.
Great produce selection. Delicious cooked Foods. And theyre taking extra precautions during these times and making you wear masks and gloves.
I like this market a lot, fruits and vegetables are very fresh, variety, and the prices are very good, they have very nice personal and the place is always clean, also plenty of parking.Prices are very affordable. 👍
Nice place to get what u need
They have good prices
It was a good experience. Katy and all the staff are helpful and friendly.
And usually always have what youre looking for and everythings fresh
Im only giving this place a 2 star because of their meat and produce. Not the best, but itll do for a quick run.
A little dirty & the refrigerators smell old or like theres food going bad... we still shop here when we need Latino produce.
Too expensive for essential items
All people that attend wear masks, you get free gloves when you enter, and everything I needed was there. All people are respectful and the employees are nice.
Good market they have good products. I noticed a small rise on the prices but still a good choice
I always find what I need at great a price.
Gave me gloves before entering, very cautious staff, and fantastic selection. I was surprised at the amount of effort this place is giving.
The store layout was pretty organized. I was able to find what Im looking very easily. Great meat selection. The produce section was very good, really fresh. Prices are very cheap, cheaper than all of the major supermarket chains. The cashier were efficient and friendly.
Place is stuffed👍
I love shopping there and the Employees is very Polite🤗🤗
Meat section is great and fresh produce section. Easy pricing.
Nice place everyone friendly. Only white guy in place felt uneasy at first but everyone said hi and made feel ok. Talked to a lot of shoppers about food and Prices good and customer service great.
I like the produce at very reasonable prices. Summer berries are yum-fresh and cheaper than the bigger retailers. Staff are nice and store is clean. Very busy parking lot, be careful.
Workers and corporate not friendly or helpful. I will drive alittle out of my way to shop at superiors grocery going forward. The meat and produce quality seem to even be better there! Bought 4 lbs of boneless skinless leg meat only to find out the next day they gave me boneless skinless breast. How do u work the meat counter and Not know the difference?????
Very nice and clean market.
Why are the cakes that are smaller so expensive when they sell the bigger cakes way less?
Many choices, reasonable prices. Prices for fruit are pretty good here. There are also a variety of Mexican desserts and snacks that look yummy.
Super market catering to mainly Latino customer base large amount of products. Meat counter with fresh meat. Cooked food for sale and baked goods.
Very well stocked and great prices
Professional. Clean. Good people
In and out pretty easy, parking a little crowded.
Good Latin store to shop you can not find else where.
Very clean and always have what I need
Nice place to visit in save some money on produce. Never overcrowded and a reasonable prices. They have a very good sweet bread display
Nice employers 😃
Great alternative to big chain grocery stores. Pros: Excellent fresh produce and fruit pricing every day as well as meat prices. Does not have a rewards card or program and is all the better for it. Cons: smaller than big chain grocery stores and during peak hours parking can be impossible. All in all, definitely worth it.
Slow service
Very clean store. Has great variety. Staff and manager are helpful.
Good selection in the meat market, everything looks fresh. Produce is fresh and really good. The hot food on the other hand did not look as appetizing as Im used to in other carniceria type markets.Edit August 2019, Ive gone back a few times and have been disappointed. The salsa I bought on one occasion went bad by the next day, and on another occasion separated into about 80% water which has never happened with any salsa purchase at any other mexican supermarket. They keep fresh fish on ice outside the meat market to allow customers to self service, but it is very unappetizing and creates a foul odor.
I always have a good experience shopping here.
Better than Ralphs in some aspects. Definitely better priced.
Great Customer ServiceGood ProductsVery Pleased 😃
Love this place food and portion of it was great taste like fresh seafood straight from the sea and beef tacos so good
Awesome prepared food section.
Very cold(BRRRRR), Nice. Friendly and multicultural literally.
Ok cashiers are very rude
Great store but man the new security guard she stays following people around like if they were gonna steal something they have to fire her ! The other guy the had was better ! Not going back till they get a new security guard
Nice place to buy vegetables for a bargain..
The manager at Numo Uno Yerli is rude an i spend$30 to $60 a week at this store on Carson St. . I returned meat that was out of date on the package an just wanted to replace. This manager refused an also put the security on me. Go to peoplesfreepress.com for full story.
It has all the foods you will need. It always has your back if there no more of somehting they have more of it in the back. They are so polite, nice, and care about others.
Awesome people ☺️
Good Service.. Prices are High.. 😐
Meh it was ok, dont look for pesto or exotic spices.
THERE PRICES ARE HIGHER THEN MOST STORES I GO TO BUT ITS CLOSE TO MOM AND DADS AND I LIKE THE FRESH ALREADY MADE STUFF
I got followed twice while shopping
Shopping in peace without being perturbed by subliminal messages and wispers was surreal.
Lowest pricing of any market. Outstanding produce.
Great store. Had a lot of product.
Found all the typical items needed that are most popular and needed. I specially like the pan dulce. There is a large size parking lot right out front and although is shared with the rest of the stores in the shopping center there never is a lack of parking. The staff was friendly. During the time of my first visit one of them noticed I was wondering around and offered to help me find what I needed.
Would always ask for an ID even if you only buy $2 using your credit card.
Love the fresh Chicharonnes...
Good latino market. You can find almost anything in here.
Best fruits and veggies in town. Friendly staff
I can always find hisbicus flower. They even had fresh soursop and chirmoya
Good service
Normally good prices not the best quality in vegetables but other than that everything will be good they have a bakery Mexican style very good
Great Latin produce and good prices.
As a white man I feel like this place is a secret that has been kept from my people for too long
The casher was very kind. I am thankful to her.
Fresh veggies and low prices
Best meat market.
The employees the manager youre very helpful very kind the stores always kept clean and if you need a question to be answered they can do it especially when it comes to fruits and vegetables and their bread is awesome freshly made every morning and evening I recommend this for a hundred percent
Conveniently located close to the job. It served its purpose.
