The attitude from the workers is ridiculous. They are always rushing their customers out, I had just gone in for some help with my new phone. However one of the workers said I needed an appointment, so I looked around the store to see it was only myself and one other customer, and quite a few employees. I said, I need some quick help but instead she made me an appointment that I will NOT be attending since it doesn’t really work with my schedule and I was rushed out. I don’t understand how they can be “low staff” yet have five employees walking aimlessly around the store on their own phones and still claim that they cannot help me without an appointment. Another pointless trip to this store, definitely going to a new location with better reviews. Always read the reviews, people! Even if the store is empty, make an appointment so they can actually make YOU the priority.

I had such a great customer service at that location. I went there twice and had two different employees help me I Can’t remember both employees names are (I think of their names was Ron?). The other employees’ name was Donald, he went above and beyond for me. The manager was Professional kind and very informative. I definitely recommend this location, I can’t stress enough how kind and professional they were to me.

So I came to this location to return a hotspot device I bought through the Verizon mobile app and the person I spoke with told me that I had to pay a 50 dollar repackaging fee since I already opened it and used it and stated it was policy, I kindly went to another store and they took my return no problem. For returns stay away from this location crooked crooked people in my opinion.

Verizon is just the worst. I called the store repeatedly practically begging for help. They transferred me to a line that kept disconnecting. I just gave up. The last rep actually laughed when I asked to please transfer me to a real person. Beyond frustrating and upsetting.

According to verizon one of this store sales associate lied to me about the promotion they have on 12/6/2019. I bought a phone there on 12/6/2019 buy one add a line and get one free. Verizon was charging me for my free phone and I didnt noticed because I had automatic payment. When I called to complain, I had to call 4 times. They said that by that time they didnt had any promotions and the promotion started at middle of December. This is wrong in all possible ways!

I went to this store to update my phone. Customer service in this store is very poor. They have only three representatives on the floor. While I was waiting two customers came with phone issues and representatives mentioned that they have to go to Best buy because they have Samsung stand there. This doesnt make any sense. Why I have to buy phone from Verizon wireless if they dont support it. Also I ask customer service representative where is the bathroom she told me to go to Dunkin donut next door.

I showed up at this store with 3 questions and concerns. I was greeted with professionalism, Covid protocols completely on point and a client advisor “MR MIGUEL” who was knowledgeable in every aspect of his job. He was professional and efficient and reminded me why I would never tradeMy Verizon service for any other inferior product. The process inside of the store was like a well oiled machine. I observed the manager juggling multiple things at the same time and didn’t think he noticed me, but I was amazed when it was my turn he was fully in control and new whose turn it was to be serviced and delegated gracefully. Now that guy is definitely an asset to the organization. Don’t know his name, but if I had to describe him I would say he’s got some great taste in sneakers! Verizon Totowa you are the dream team.

Terrible service.. spent 2 hours just to buy a phone that couldnt even be activated in the store.. was told to do it by myself at home. after opening the box, the color was wrong. exchange took over an hour... then I was told to ship it to Verizon myself.. terrible experience, never going back. dont even waste your time.

Upon entering, the general manager Chris greeted us and asked what we needed. I told him we purchased a flip phone this past December (not even a year old and the same model was on the shelf). I had turned it off because it was for my grandma when she was in rehab. She’s back there so we wanted to reactivate it. Off the bat Chris was rude and said the phone probably couldn’t be activated but they can try when it’s our turn. Upon our turn, the guy tells us even though the same model is on the shelf it has been discontinued and they couldn’t take it off the display because Verizon hasn’t fully done away with it. That being said, the phone could not be activated on my account or even with a separate prepaid account either. So I bought this $50 phone, used it for a couple months. I only shut it off a couple months ago. Meanwhile the GM Chris is talking with another employee less than 5 feet from us explaining that it’s not going to work. Our salesman was nice, I dealt with him before. Chris starting taking personal phone calls while we were there too. I’m just glad our salesman was more professional and accommodating than the general manager. Maybe that’s why I see other reviews complaining about the staff since they don’t have strong management to learn from.

Best customer service Ive gotten from a Verizon store in a long time. Ive been to three other stores trying to return a phone with no luck and managers trying to give me the runaround and saying that I cant return it in store but have to mail it back and pay for shipping since they wont print a label for me. The workers here were understanding of my needs and successfully helped out. This Verizon store definitely stands out compared to others Ive been to.

Went there this morning. Wanted to downgrade to a basic phone. Have iPhone 5s. Getting laid off, so trying to cut my bills in half. The women sales representative. Would not sell me a basic phone at retail price. And except my iPhone for buyback. Said I was still in contract. Told her I spoke to customer service and they said I could do this. She just said sorry cant help you. Called customer service and ordered over the phone with no problem And their sending me a buyback box. Ill get $165.00 for iPhone and $50.00 rebate for purchase of new basic phone. Was told they should have been able to do this at store.

Its a Verizon store. Youll get pretty standard customer service, and a fairly wide selection of devices to choose from. Most of the high end devices from this year as well as last year are available for you to swipe around on. Its definitely a great place to try out a phones camera, but i would definitely suggest having narrowed down your choice of phones before coming to the store. Reading online beforehand will definitely help you stay informed in your purchasing decisions

This is honestly the worst Verizon location. I come here out of convenience because it is closer, but I don’t know why I even bother. I might as well just make the 20 minute drive to the Garfield location where they actually acknowledge that I’m even in the store. Nobody even spoke to us for nearly 25 minutes, and the only reason I was even checked in was because I did it myself through my phone. EVERY TIME I’m here they take a ridiculously long amount of time even though it looks like most of the available staff is doing absolutely nothing. I won’t be coming here again.

I went to this Verizon store after being sorely disappointed at another location due to ineptness of that salesperson. In this Totowa store, I had the exact opposite experience. A gentleman named German helped me. He was knowledgeable, professional and super polite which is sadly lacking these days. He took time explaining the options and showing me additional items with no pressure to buy. Once I decided on the phone I wanted, he set it up and make sure everything was working before I left the store. A truly positive experience!

Manager I was eventually able to talk to fixed the situation easily. The junior team member was unprofessional in language, posture, gestures, and his pants were sagging so I had to look at his boxer briefs. This is supposed to be a professional establishment. Store was super nice. Waiting area was cozy! Will go back, just not to see that young man that needs a few lessons in professionalism.

Worst customer service ever. I had an order placed over the phone.. walk into the store, with no phone to pick up so they suggested that I cancel my over the phone order and then buy from them in the store right away. This process took me one hour, and then when I went to buy my phone they tried to charge me twice as much as the original offer I had initially placed that they TOLD me to cancel. Worst customer service ever. Walked right out. Stay away from a girl named Jasmine. She is disgusting. Does not know how to work in retail. I hate this location. Disgusting people.

Have a variety of phones to choose from. You can pay in full or in payment plans. The staff is knowledgeable and will try to help you as best they can. They do get crowded on certain days and the wait can be long. Also, some of there stuff is expensive like the phone cases.

NEGATIVES:a) We were added to the customer queue by the Manager as soon as we walked in & then asked to wait over there. Somehow we got lost in the queue (even though it was Xmas Eve and only 10 people were in the store in total *including staff*) and so we waited longer than appropriate. Our salesguy who finally waited on us was polite, but he was sending the vibe that the sooner we stop bothering him and exit the store, the better it would be for him.b) We returned a defective phone purchased from Verizon (VZ) *online* and it seemed like it was the biggest favor in the world that this store allowed a lowly VZ *online* return to happen there. Verizon is Verizon and they stand by their customers purchases regardless of whether those purchases originated online or in a physical store, right?c) A few common Apple iphone models (XR, 8+) we picked out to buy as a replacement for our defective returned phone were not in stock. We had to ask Salesguy if any other nearby VZ stores did have it in stock. I felt like we shouldnt have had to suggest this to him. Doesnt he want us to buy a phone somewhere within the Verizon group, even if its not from his particular store?d) I asked Salesguy several times during the return process to make sure he returned my SIMM card from the defective phone once the transaction was completed. He forgot and he walked away into the back room/customer forbidden zone. When he resurfaced and I finally got my SIMM card (its tiny & the size of a pinky fingernail), Salesguy gave me a discarded plastic scrap bag (from the trash) to use to hold the SIMM card. He explained that the clean ziploc bags were for another purpose so he couldnt give me one. Really? No complimentary ziploc bags for customers?e) The parking lot in this location has two giant light poles in the middle of the small lot located exactly where most cars back up in order to exit. The poles already have plastic covers around them at the bottom, so apparently there have been past vehicle mishaps. Its annoying to navigate around these so you dont smash up the back of your car.THE POSITIVE (not plural):a) Part of the giant return favor from this store was the waiver of the $50 restocking fee, which I was supposed to be charged for my return. I didnt feel like I should have been responsible for this fee anyway, since the iphone we received was defective, but since it got waived we were both on the same page.IN SUMMARYIf you are a Verizon customer, there are plenty of other Verizon stores in the Wayne NJ area, so there is NO reason for you to visit this particular location (at 540-548 US Route 46 East in Wayne).If, however, you are part of the Verizon Corporate Sales Team Customer Service Training staff - you should jet over here ASAP.

Saw a better deal at a local best buy. So I figured I would give Verizon a shot to match it (50 dollar difference). I went into this location. No one greeted me. None of the sales associates would even make eye contact. Store was not that busy. I eventually was able to ask a salesman, can we match this price at Best Buy for the same phone. This place sucks! I was the first person when they opened to walk in. Third person to be acknowledged. I got here at 9:45. They open at 10 it is now 10:37. The man helping me walked away to help another customer and I asked Dana Im assuming the manager (who was playing on her phone) for help and she said I had to wait for the other guy to help me. Then they couldnt help me when Ive done this three times before. Im going to the down the road and watch them help me in a second. DONT WAIST YOUR TIME!!!! (I went to the mall. Bought a new iPhone X and my store only had it in white, they told me the Verizon in Totowa had one left in black. My Verizon store told me to call and they can put the phone on hold for me. I called and they told me “we don’t do that”. So I drove an extra 25 mins to go to the Totowa store and when I get there they tell me it’s 50 dollars to switch it, a “restocking fee”, because the box was already open. I told them I didn’t open it, the guy at the first Verizon store opened it without asking me to put my screen protector on for me (which was very nice). But still nothing they could do. This is ridiculous because I never would have drove out of my way to be told it’s 50 dollars to switch a phone I never even turned on. They didn’t even stand up when they were talking to me when I walked in and one worker was sitting on his phone. No wonder this store has awful reviews. They easily could have helped me or at least told me on the phone that’s its 50 dollars. Waste of my time.

I went days ago at another outlet miles away during work and along the way I found a Verizon Store. I asked him for a car charger Verizon USB C. $35.plus tax. In a hurry I left and waited for an opportune time to plug it in. It does nothing to my phone,Android S8+. Not wanting to be late for my next appointment I continue on.When I arrive at the Limo base they checked and found that the limos 3 outlets work but not on my phone.I slept in a hotel near my base and when I left I didnt notice my home charger was missing.Tonight I go to the Little Falls Rt46 Verizon he asks for my name and phone number.I give it to him. Someone will take care of you shortly (dark man with a large stomach) and he goes on and I wait. I see the man and hes going from customer to customer all of which had their sales reps helping them after his roundup with everyone he starts drumming his pen, looks at his personal phone talks to others now with both hands in his pocket like he had nothing to do. He begins rolling down the window gates near where Im sitting and walks right past me.In his walking around he avoids looking my way and I stand up facing at him then he goes to the back room.Minutes later he comes around and again avoids eye contact.Finally a sales rep is escorting his customer out and I make sure he sees me. ALL I need is a phone charger please thank you.We go to the back NEXT TO THE ORIGINAL MAN AVOIDING EYE CONTACT.My attendant quickly inserts one end Im looking and trusting him I say ok. $40 plus tax.Wait a minute.A home charger cost more than a car charger? He escorts me out with a HUGE SMILE and shuts the door behind me.I get home and a message from the hotel said they found my charger in the room.I get it thank them and leave.My original charger is slow because its slightly bent but now I have a new charger right?The new home charger BIGGER than the original doesnt reach in all the way to charge my phone. WHAT IS GOING ON IN THAT STORE?So now for $80 dollars spent Im told I have the right car charger and it doesnt work on my phone. And a home charger that doesnt fit into the the plug inlet.Am I happy? Did I get what I paid over $80 for?

I went back to the Verizon store because I bought a new phone off eBay and wanted to transfer info from my old phone to the new one and to get it set up as required. Needless to say one of the sales people asked a few questions to verify I was indeed a Verizon customer and then proceeded to help me with all my issues. He was polite and very professional. Any questions I had were answered and everything was done free of charge. It ended up being a much better experience than I thought it would be. Even though Ive had a sore spot for Verizon over the years (for things I wont get into) I have to give it to them. They rose to the occasion.

Avoid this store if you can!! I came in just before closing looking to buy a replacement battery for my Samsung phone. The guy gave me a dirty look and said thats not even a product we carry. I said, What!?! How is that even possible?! He pointed to a wall and said all we carry are battery chargers and turned away from me. Didnt offer to walk me over to them, or answer any other questions I had. Just rude! There is no excuse for laziness and poor customer service!! All of the chargers were 2 or 3 times the cost of a replacement battery so I walked out, even had to unlock the door myself since none of the lazy employees bothered to walk over to let me out.

Walk I at 8:20 pm on a Monday and there are 6 people waiting to be served, only 4 employees, and 2 of the employees are helping 1 customer, all I want to do is exchange my car charger that isnt working but since verizon stores dont have a regular cashier that could handle simple tasks such as this I have to wait for at least 30 minutes to make a simple retail exchange.

I dont know what to call this but on more than one occasions I was told to call customer service because they say they couldnt help me in the store. I love Verizon and their services but the fees will kill you. They are always trying to upsale and they never tell you about all their hidden fees. Bought a smart watch and it kept dying within 8 hrs. I wanted to returned it and there is a $35 fee that they never tell you about it. Manager ok but not too friendly.Ask about all of their fees.

My first experience on 12/23 went well. I upgraded 2 phones. Went from I Phone 7 to a Google Pixel 3.Within a few days I decided I did not like the Google and exactly one week later I brought the phone back to exchange for a new I Phone which lead to the worst experience ever. First no one acknowledged me upon entering the store and not every sales rep was busy and that included the General Manager, Chris.I get a young man who doesnt introduce himself. I explain what I want to do and the first thing he says is he is low on stock so why dont you just keep the phone until 1/15, which would be the deadline for me to exchange it. I told him I want to take care of it today and may I please look at the I Phones. I asked him the basic differences and he proceeded to tell me to take a class. I basically picked any phone and miraciously it was in stock. He tells me to put my pass code in the phone to erace all the info and I said wait a minute arent you going to transfer the information to the new phone and he tells me no be we dont do that. I lost it and asked for the manager.I waited near 10 minutes for him to come over and tell me me the same thing but they would do me a favor and this one time and teach me how to do it.How come when I purchased the phones last week there was no talk about me doing it myself? The manager said because the seller rep was probably doing me a favor. Well I lost my cool, didnt know if I was going to explode or cry. I said give me my stuff, I have been to a lot of Verizon stores and this one just sucked. I think I was cutting into their lunch hour. I would have left Verizon and gone with another carrier but I spoke with a professional representative from Verizon today and I will return the phone to another store, hopefully they will be the professional I hsvh come to expect from Verizon. Terrtible service Would never go in there again. Was told we had to buy the phones and take them home and activate them ourselves. All this guy kept doing was trying to do was sell acessories and an ipad,even after I told him I had already purchased a case. He told us again and again you have to go to Apple for that. I just think the whole set up in the way of helping the customer is not a great experience at this place. I also bought a phone protector and they put it on incorrectly so I had a huge smudge on it and then when I went to a kiosk at the mall they were like yeah Verizon never put these on right. It was the curved screen for the Google pixel XL and they just didnt put it on right and there was a big smudge mark on the inside that I couldnt do anything about

Left Verizon for one week and went to Consumer cellular. CC coverage was awful. Back on Verizon! Have been a Verizon wireless customer for 22 years.
