I absolutely loved working with the team at Garnish Boutique! It was my first bridal store when shopping for my wedding dress, and I was shocked that I found it and didnt have to go to any other appointments. The boutique is the perfect size -- has a large and diverse selection, but not so large that youre immediately overwhelmed by options. The consultant lets you pick a few and then shell gauge what to grab as you try them on and give feedback. It was completely stress-less and easy, and the prices were more than reasonable in my opinion. While they dont do tailoring in the shop, the tailor they recommend and work with regularly is absolutely amazing and she did a beautiful job with my dress. 10000% would recommend shopping here!

I cant say enough positive things about this boutique. The customer service was outstanding! They were very knowledgeable about their wedding dresses and veils. I was introduced to a designer that I truly love. All of the staff work collaboratively and are very patient and kind. The owner Mia checked with me to ensure that I was happy with my service and the sales representative was great as well. I would recommend anyone to this boutique because they have many dresses to offer and the service is amazing!

In this whole mess of being a Covid bride, Garnish Boutique was the *one* absolutely flawless experience I had! I fell in love with the designer Anna Campbell and drove down from Philly to find “the dress.” Well not only did I find the dress, I also found the Veil, Earrings and most attentive, wonderful and thoughtful staff you could imagine. If you are or know a Covid bride you know the planning and prep has been a non-stop rollercoaster of emotions and changed plans, but any time I reached out to Mia at Garnish Boutique to stress about whether my dress would arrive on time, she was so polite, sweet and honest with any updates she could provide. She even face timed me when I decided last minute that I wanted a certain veil after searching high and low to find it. To say I am truly impressed and grateful to Garnish Boutique would be the understatement of 2020. I would give them 10 stars if I could ❤️

Mia really went above and beyond to do everything she could to make sure my dress arrived in time (during a global pandemic...). She communicated with the designer and with me throughout the whole process and my dress arrived just over a week before my tiny wedding! The shop has beautiful dresses and of course excellent customer service! I recommend Garnish to friends (and people I don’t even know) whenever possible.

I just got back from my appointment today and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Mia was a wonderful consultant who went above and beyond to make me feel valued and beautiful. The room was set up so I had multiple angles to see myself from. She took my feedback and was able to pull gowns that aligned with my vision. She was not pushy whatsoever but also honest about delivery times as many of them are delayed due to COVID-19. Safety is clearly a priority on these crazy times. We were asked to wash our hands before entering and we were the only customers there.I’m so thankful that I chose this shop for my bridal experience and I’m so thankful to Mia for making it special. Their selection is top notch and customer service was flawless.

Just bought my gown!!! Katie and Mia are wonderful and the selection of gowns are sure to make any bride smile. A much better experience than the bigger, more commercial place we visited earlier in the day.

I had a horrible, horrible experience at another bridal shop in the area, and was very much dreading continuing to look for a dress. Within moments of stepping into Garnish, that fear evaporated. Katie and Mia were so encouraging and helpful, and I had no issues fitting into the samples after being told at the other place, “they just don’t come in your size.” I will be sending everyone I know to Garnish in the future!

WOW! I had the most amazing experience at Garnish Boutique. Mia, the owner, was one of the best bridal dress consultants I have experienced in my journey of choosing a wedding dress thus far. Her knowledge of each dress, designer, and style made choosing a dress so easy. Garnish has some of the most beautiful dresses I have seen (and a HUGE selection). Mia welcomed my family and I in with open arms and answered all of our questions and concerns with ease and patience. I am so pleased and excited to be a Garnish Boutique Bride!

My experience with Garnish was outstanding! I am a plus size bride and had zero issues trying on samples here. When I wanted a larger sample to try on before making a decision Mia made sure I could get one. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable- she even initially picked out the dress I ended up wearing! She helped me get the small adjustments I wanted even FaceTiming the designer so I could talk with him about them. When COVID hit I had to move my wedding date up and she responded to every one of my “is it here yet” emails with an update and made sure my dress made it to me in time. So grateful to Mia and the Garnish team!

I went to four bridal boutiques before finding Garnish and at Garnish I finally saw and entire store of dresses that belonged in this decade. Everything was so stylish, on trend yet timeless, and organized in a way that made it simple to locate dozens of dresses all within my desired style. I was given the opportunity to try on so many dresses, had the easiest time in the dressing room, felt like my consultant just clicked with me and knew instantly what I was going for, and never felt pressured into anything. There were so many gorgeous dresses here to choose from that while in other stores I went home empty handed, here I found three that easily could have all been THE dress. I loved the lighting in the store, the configuration of mirrors, and the overall experience couldnt have been more positive. Full disclosure, I am a size 2 and at other stores I had a hard time trying on sample sizes because they were all far too big to look right pinned and pulled, but here they had a range of sample sizes and the consultant did an excellent job making them look incredible on me. She was fast and efficient and didnt waste time if I said I didnt love something. I wish I could give this place 10 stars.

I had my Wedding Dress consultation today, and had an amazing experience with Megan and Mia. Both ladies had an absolute positive and welcoming personality/attitude throughout the entire ordeal. The boutique is packed with a great, diverse, and unique style of dresses. Megan offered plenty of insight into choosing the perfect dress - as I had no clue what it was, that I was looking for. After browsing the selection, I began pointing to dresses that I really liked. Based on those preferences, Megan knew exactly where to direct me to, towards dresses that were similar. The boutique itself is clean, modern, well-light, quiet, beautiful, and truly - chic.I reserved an appointment, so I definitely appreciated the one-on-one service, and never felt rushed. Both ladies even offered great recommendations for having the dress tailored and then preserved after the wedding. I definitely appreciated the to-go gift that I was provided with. FYI - They also have a great selection of of veils, hair clips, sashes as well. Please reserve an appointment! You wont be disappointed. Definitely my favorite place after going to numerous boutiques. I have been a number of times for family and friends and every time it was a great experience. Everyone is friendly and the place is super cute. I always recommend it to all of my friends.

I truly cant say enough about what an amazing experience I had at Garnish. I went there to try on dresses for the first time and told myself that I would absolutely not buy anything and just wanted to get a sense of what I liked. Once there and trying on, I immediately fell in love with a dress. Both Mia and Jen were so wonderful and did not pressure me in any way to purchase the dress. They understood what a big decision it was and kept telling me to take the time I needed to think it over. After leaving and trying a few other bridal boutiques, I knew I had to go back to Garnish and purchase the dress I fell in love with. Since then, Mia has continued to be so amazing to work with. She is so helpful and responsive and immediately emails me back whenever questions come up. Having had such an incredible experience buying my wedding dress there, I also went back to pick out my bridesmaids dresses. Once again, they were so helpful and answered all of my questions and at no time pressured me to make any decisions. All of the people who work there are so wonderful and it is such a comfortable atmosphere to find your dream dress. I will be recommending Garnish to everyone I know. It has truly been an amazing experience!

Over 3 months ago, right as COVID hit the Maryland, I went wedding dress shopping, alone because of COVID. I had my sister & my mama on Skype and we picked out my wedding dress. Garnish Boutique was amazing. The owner, Mia, was so fabulous in helping me select my dress. She helped ease all of our minds. Was so informative about the designers, totally transparent and upfront about costs. Her boutique was immaculately clean and was following CDC guidelines before there were any, greeting me with a mask and gloves at the door. She answered all of questions with comfort and grace- and made an experience, that I personally was dreading- a dream. It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to one day return to try on my actual wedding dress.If anyone is planning on getting married anytime soon Garnish is where it’s at.

This shop is magical! The owner, Mia, has AMAZING taste and every dress is gorgeous and special. The selection totally blows standard dress shops out of the water. Cant say enough great things about Mia and her team! I had a bridal appointment and ended up finding my dress and to my surprise it was a sample sale! My consultant was so personable and was willing to do whatever it took to make sure I was happy with the dress I fell in love with. I highly recommend this boutique to any bride! Fabulous staff who are eager to help and provide a relaxing environment with no pressure and even helped me take pictures with my phone to send to my family who live out of state. I wasnt able to call during their normal hours, but there were more than eager and willing to help me set up an appointment by email and were VERY prompt with their e-responses. The boutique is impeccable with such a whimsical feel about it and it was a totally relaxing experience. Mia the owner was so professional and friendly and my consultant Jessica was the sweetest!

Although my gown came in on time, I only bought from them because they had the dress I loved- I did not feel that customer service was positive. During appointments, I felt ignored, at times rushed, or like I was being an inconvenience. Not personable at all. They do have nice gowns, but don’t be surprised if you don’t feel like it’s an overall positive experience.

There is no sales pressure whatsoever and they truly have a magical array of handpicked dresses to suit every taste. Do yourself a favor and shop here first, before you waste time elsewhere. I booked my bridal appointment at Garnish Boutique because it was one of two stores in the state of MD that carry Jim Hjelm dresses and I was DYING to try them on. Mia did not have a few of the specific dresses I wanted to try, so she ordered samples so that I could try them on when I came in. (For a nominal fee). When I arrived, I was surprised to see that it was a small, elegant boutique. They do ONE bride at a time, meaning, during your appointment (one hour) you and your party are literally the only ones in there....getting all the attention! Mia and her staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable! The store is big enough to have variety, but not big enough to overwhelm you. For me, (who can be a tad indecisive) it was PERFECT. Plus, everything in the store is reasonably priced! I seriously cant stress enough how lovely my day dress shopping was. There was NO SALES PRESSURE. Mia genuinely seemed to just love helping brides find beautiful dresses. I would recommend this boutique to any bride looking for an intimate bonding day of dress shopping with her bridal party/mom/family. Truly unique experience compared to other big bridal salons. And, I ended up finding my absolute dream dress!

Mia and her associates are so awesome and helpful! They have a gorgeous assortment of bridal and bridesmaid dresses. They are very down-to-earth and much more personable than any other bridal shops I visited.

In a word: pretentious. This shop is larger than it seems but if you dont go in with the right sense of entitlement and attitude, you wont get the time of day. Visited with a friend who was dress shopping and found a very very overpriced selection of designer gowns, all basically the same with minor variations. My friend was offered a beat up floor sample with a small digging discount or that same gown order for her. The salesperson who assisted our friend basically ignored her for the first 20 minutes we were there offering no suggestions or orientation to the stores organization, at a few minutes after her hour-long appointment time ended, she was told that her appointment has run over and someone else can take care of her if she wants to make a decision. Fittings for our friend were being done in a small dressing room with a mirror whereas other more important customers had a dressing room, a place for their guests to sit and more attentive service that actually worked to fit dresses rather than just apply a few clips and let it hang. I wouldnt recommend this place to friends on their wedding dress shopping journeys given the exorbitant prices and poor service.

I had come into Garnish Boutique, wanting to really try on this dress by Stella York. It was not the first store I had gone to. I went to another store in NJ. On the inside Garnish is beautiful, however I never felt so sad or upset about my body/my weight/image. Once I got engaged, I started working out with a personal trainer, and started getting more in shape and healthier. The store owner said, the sample dress I wanted, was on sale, and if I wanted to buy it, I could buy it, and lose weight in time for my wedding, November 3, 2018, and that some brides use it as motivation to lose weight. She also stated that they do not carry sizes larger than a 12 (So, if you know you are busty, or curvaceous, I would not recommend coming to this store to try dresses on, because who would buy a dress without actually trying it on??!!) I had been emailing the owner, Mia, and asked what size the dress was, prior to going to the boutique, knowing that I would not be able to fit in a 10 or smaller in bridal dresses. I made the 35 minute trip out there, not knowing prior, that it was a size 10. She went on to say, “They do not carry plus size dresses, even though she said, I was not plus size, and to try out another store called Amanda Ritchey, where they will have more dresses in my size and budget.” I just started shopping for dresses and I had no real budget in mind, but if I LOVED a dress, I would not have hesitated buying it, no matter what the price for it. My reception outfit is an Indian outfit, so at this point, I am not shell shocked with pricing, since my reception outfit is going to cost way more than my gown, because of all the beadwork, and work going into it. Mia then recommended that they can order the dress in my size, but why would I pay for a dress not knowing how it would look on me, or a general idea of how it would look? Very upset with this store, and basically being told I am not skinny enough for their dresses, unless I lose weight. I will be taking my business elsewhere and will not recommend this store to anyone, I know.

I had an AMAZING experience with Mia and her team!! The moment I walked in with my sister and mom she greeted us and sat us down in a gorgeous open room, making us feel right at home. I was very nervous before the appointment and wasnt sure if I was going to find anything cause I am a little body concious. But she was so kind and helpful. And we together found a dress that looked amazing on me and complemented with my shape. I feel so much more at ease and am in LOVE with my new Romona Keveza gown. I recommend this boutique to everyone I run into who is recently engaged. You can’t find better service, energy or friendliness anywhere else. I cant wait to come back and get my bridesmaid dresses!

My experience at Garnish Boutique was absolutely a dream come true!!! This was actually my very first wedding dress fitting EVER and I walked out on cloud nine.There was plenty of parking at the building - both in front and back. *Note- the store sign is on the front of the building but you have to walk to the side and up the stairs to get to the store entrance. My bridesmaids and I were greeted right away by the store owner Mia. She showed us to a beautifully decorated room with a comfy couch and table to put down our coats and bags. Mia then showed us each section of the store which was organized by designer and dress style which made it SO easy to look through! She even showed us that the tags had the prices clearly marked so that I would easily be able to stay in budget. I had no idea what I was really looking for when I came in but Katie (our dress consultant) made the experience the best I could ask for! Katie made me feel so comfortable with getting in and out of dresses and never rushed me. She was really so sweet and respectful! She laughed along with my bridesmaids and would listen to their advice while also making sure that I was really happy with what I was wearing. I thought I wanted a more fitted dress but Katie suggested I try on a Blue Willow by Ann Barge dress that was in a ballgown style. I was hesitant at first but as soon as I tried it on and walked out of the fitting room- a hush came over everyone followed by loud squeals of delight! This was the one!! The dress even had a gorgeous long veil that came with it and both the dress and veil were 50% off because they were on the sample sale rack! I was blown away by the fact that even though my bridesmaids pressured me to buy the dress, Mia and Katie did not once pressure me to make a decision right away. In fact, they urged me to put the dress on hold and consult my fiance and mother regarding the finances first. I was so thankful for that! I have not yet purchased my dress but am convinced that I will soon be a Garnish bride! **Also my appointment was scheduled for 11-12 pm but Mia let me stay to try on dresses until 1 PM!!! Mia is a sweet, genuine person. The dress I wanted wasnt in her boutique but she ordered the sample for me so I could come in and try it on. My mom wasnt able to go with me so Mia let me FaceTime my parents and take as many pictures I wanted. She isnt pushy and doesnt try to sell you something. Even though she had other clients coming in, she took her time with me and didnt make my appointment feel rushed! I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for wedding/bridesmaid dresses!

This is comical at this point – the shop has now disputed my review on WeddingWire so that it wont be shown. Because we (the bridesmaids) paid the bride and then the bride was the one who paid for the dresses, they know that I wont be able to prove that I was a client of theirs. All that I can hope is that they treat their customers with more respect and professionalism in the future.Update* The shop did not appreciate my honest review of my experience and called the bride about their concerns. This is so beyond unprofessional that I cannot wrap my head around it. My review in no way should affect the bride, and this definitely does not call for upsetting the bride a month before the wedding.I will say that my friend (the bride) had nothing but fantastic things to say about the service that Mia and her team offered while she was looking for, and eventually bought, a wedding gown. This is why she decided to continue working with them while ordering bridesmaid dresses for the big day.I found out that I was pregnant right around the time that my friend put in the order for all of the dresses and then the shop was on a three week vacation with no access to email or phone (evidently they did not have access to phone prior to vacation either because none of my calls were returned). In the meantime, I realized that I would need a few sizes larger so I reached out to the shop and asked if it would be possible to size-up. After two weeks, I finally got an unprofessional response stating that I would not be able to change the size because it was too late after the order was put in. Unfortunately, had they not taken a month off with no availability for their customers I would have had the chance to change the size. In addition, they have a no refund policy because the dresses are handmade in China and made-to-order.Long story short, you can buy the same Amsale dresses from Nordstroms website and not go through the hassle that they may or may not put you through. I wouldnt recommend going here if youre looking for any flexibility at all.
