Knowledgeable and friendly employees. Despite this I waited over an hour to be assisted. I arrived on a Wednesday at 12:10pm and was told a 30minutes wait. It is now 1:10pm and my patience has grown thin. There were two people waiting for assistance ahead of me when I arrived. Seems as though they should have more employees on staff if they can not accommodate 3 customers within one hour.
John at the store was very helpful. These days its best to make an appointment, and do your research before you go. Knowing what you want me to get there will save you a lot of time.
The people there are friendly, I dont like that they didnt have a phone in stock, when the phone is almost a year old, and wont be for another 3 weeks. The phone is broken now, not in 3 weeks. There are 3 numbers on our plan, number 2 needed replacing, they confirmed that number, then switched it to number 3, we had to go back and spend another 30 to 45 minutes waiting to be helped, and it took another 20 to fix the mess-up. All this with a 5 year old who was trying so hard to be good. I am frustrated right now. Another person was in there, they were being helped the whole time we waited, I kept hearing, sorry about the mess up. Another set of people, both their phones rang at the same time, so they didnt know who was getting the call. They somehow connected their lines together. Maybe it was just a bad day. I sure hope this isnt a normal practice there.
Worst customer service ever. Was gonna switch to verison after being with at&t since 1999. Did whole order online, was approved . Set a store pick up . Then after they took the money out of my account they said my account t was marked for fraud????? Why take my money then tell me that. Makes no sense. In the end just went back with AT&T. Way to chase away customers. Will never recomend them to anyone. Now wait 10 days to get my money refunded. I hope they go out of business
This store not well stocked. The staff told me that I had to wait until the beginning of December to buy an iPhone 13 pro. The next day, I bought this iPhone at verizon on Silver Lake Road. Today, my friend ordered her iPhone 13 pro by calling verizon directly and was promised her iPhone 13 pro on October 11.
Walked in and was told it would be an hour wait, but when I explained I just needed to replace my broken headphones, the rep knew it would take less than 5 minutes and got me what I needed right away, no hassle, in and out in 5 minutes. Very happy with the service!
I recently got dropped from a multi line plan and their only help was a 888 number which turned into a web link that wouldnt load. Poor customer service and poor company, gladly switched back to AT&T.

Guy who helped us basically rushed us out the door. We bought a new $600 phone and set up another tablet on business account. He kind of rushed through the process and didnt even set up the new phone for us. Cut service on existing, yet sent us home with a list of phone numbers to call in order to set up new phone. Cant really do that once your phone is shut off. Guy didnt offer to put on new screen protector on new phone either. Not the best customer service Note, we were the only ones in the store for most of the time we were in there. Will probably go to different location next time.
Not because of the people but because of how long it took. We were there for almost 4 hours!
First of all this is Penni Finch and I was the one at Verizon. Everything went perfect on check in outside. I was told it would be a 35-40 minute wait but I only waited 20. The young man who assisted me was wonderful. He was very informative answering all my questions. He was also very respectful to me and that means a lot!

Visited the store earlier today, had questions about my visit, attempted to call multiple times, was redirected to customer service. Very frustrating when attempting to contact the store you were just at and you are speaking with someone 10 states away….
The guys that took care of me were went beyond and it was lunch time. I really do not like the waiting in my car for half an hour for service.
Woke up one morning to find my phone had finally and completely bit the dust. My husband went to their location immediately after work that same day to try and purchase one. Im 9 months pregnant and due any day- he was worried about me not being able to contact anyone in the event that something happened.Before he got to the door, he was stopped by a worker and informed that, because of covid, they werent allowing customers in the store. That my husband could order the phone online and if it was something they had in stock, it would be ready in a couple hours or they would have it shipped within a couple days. My husband asked if he got one in stock, if it could still be ready that day (it was super close to closing time so not cool of us). He explained that my phone had died, was due to give birth any day, and had no way to contact anyone if I went into labor. The worker asked him to wait, went inside and worked some magic, and then came out to let my husband in the store.They were super friendly, nice, and polite about the situation and didnt make him feel a bother whatsoever. That they went above and beyond given our situation was outstanding and completely unexpected. Definitely made what could have been a stressful couple days into worry-free days.

They are super friendly, and heled me immediately there was no waiting in line. unfortunately I could not go inside of the store but they took care of everything I needed outside. Verizon is very nice and very clean on the outside and I would highly recommend this store.

After having a frustrating experience at the Munson authorized dealer store, we came to this REAL Verizon store. Zack was professional and extremely helpful in taking care of setting up a new phone on our family account and answering all our questions.
Terrible Ill never go there again. Had to wait forever. Then staff Would not help me set up my new phone just got the run around. Went to the chums corner store. They set up my phone for me was in-and-out . I did not buy my phone at chums. But they were way more helpful than South airport

I am actually from the Jackson area, and we were visiting family when my daughter’s tablet died. I got online to replace it and ordered one for pick up. I walked into the store, was promptly greeted, gave my name, and was presented with my package. A quick ID check, “Do you have any questions,” and I was out the door in literally less than two minutes!WOW!!!

Stopped into Traverse City Verizon today with questions about international use while in Europe. Tyler (Timothy) was very knowledgeable and gave us great info and tips on using maps while out of the country. Showed us how it works on our phones and we bought a 30 day international package from him. Great customer service!
I used to like them, but they arent open anymore in Cadillac and I have serious issues that need taken care of. Yes, I can get a hold of customer service via phone or online to chat with a customer service rep and yes, Ive done both with absolutely nothing of my problem being resolved. I need the sales team who sold me my devices, available to me to solve my issues. I am frustrated and have an $1100 phone that I purchased through Verizon, at my local cadillac store, sitting on a shelf collecting dust because I can not use it. Why cant I use it? I have no idea, and neither does a virtual customer service representative behind a computer screen or somewhere in a telephone wire. I need a real live person and Im even more frustrated, that after the $1100 purchase and continuing, billed monthly, service I can not use that im going to have to drive to another store in another city to fix a problem that isnt even on me. I get the Covid thing, but all the other phone companies in Cadillac are open so....and if Verizon needs employees to run the Cadillac store, hey im available and this is crazy but you know my number so call me maybe.

Excellent, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable staff. Got my new Pixel 2 here and they helped me transfer all my apps and photos etc. before I walked out the door and didnt charge me extra. I have come back twice since then with questions about my phone and they have quickly solved whatever problem I had. Even better, despite the fact the store is usually pretty busy with customers they have a very efficient way of giving everyone service and help quickly.
Sale was fine but they did not activate my phones before leaving the store or transfer my info for me. Had to go to a different Verizon to be able to make calls Verizon in TC, Beitner road is where you should go!

The customer service representative I initially spoke with was consistently UNhelpful. Kept telling me I needed to get on teach coach. I was there to get help. I walked out, then talks with my son who told him four (4) times to remove something and then had to ask for manager. Manager spoke with my son and was helpful. We specifically went to a corporate store. Not impressed with the store assistance. Zilch.... Will think twice before going back.

Staff is great. Dont like the short timeframe for returns. Only to weeks allowed for returning an accessory, I was only eight days past that. Best they could do on something I never even took out of the box is an exchange.
Ive only had exceptional service here. Every sales person Ive worked with was extremely friendly, helpful, and able to provide exactly what I came in for. They treat customers like people, and its much appreciated. Keep up the great work TC Verizon team!

Terrible thinking about dropping our subscription
I really wanted to give them more for the service I have gotten here in the past but today was totally different experience, first the young lady who waited on us was just down right rude. If I ask a question Id like an answer not be talked down to, Im not stupid just needed help which I did not get. Yes I bought a used phone but I do pay 250.00 a month for my service & that should be enough to have someone answer my question. Maybe AT&T would like my 250.00 a month.
Ive never had to wait long for service.. always a few helpful employees throughout the store to assist. They have a kiosk for cash bill payments.. very convenient!

Customer service is pretty hit-and-miss.. Ive had some really helpful people and Ive also had people that were pretty unfriendly and led to dead ends as far as help.
My wait was short but I was well taken care of. I wasnt planning on purchasing a new phone or a new tablet but saw it was within my budget.

What an amazing waitress we had. She had an eidetic memory! There were five of us in the group. She wrote nothing down and all orders were perfect! And the food was good too!
This is just like other Verizon stores. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The location is somewhat difficult to find because its in an office park. Lots of traffic on S Airport road makes it difficult to turn out into traffic, especially when its dark at night.
So I want to say to Verizon thank you for your unending support in excellent service after the sale. I met your Jamie tonight, frustrated and tired of that other network that will go un named. Not only did she listen to me complain and vent, she listened, yes I said listened and proceeded to show me why her network was superior and that she also was superior in how she was the best woman for the job. Jamie your a rockstar and so is Verizon, and I can see why this network is as good as they come. Sincerely thank you for not only my first visit in satisfaction, but I was assured it wont be my last.and what 40 south dosnt want a jet pack!

The people that work here are always willing to do what is needed to get the task done.When another Verizon store says they cant do something cause of company policy.... Ignore them and go to this store!! They are much better at figuring out how to get you what you want. This is my favorite Verizon store, possibly ever?!
They made the experience very easy switching my plan to another plan on a different account and I kept all my things however I asked specifically about charger since the new S8 has changed chargers and he told me I needed to some new ones for my car and for my office aside from what comes in the package from my home however I come home and open the package to find that theres 2 adapters that come with the phone therefore I was sold two not cheap chargers that I didnt need. Not appreciated since I specifically asked this.
I have never left a one star review before, but I feel it necessary after the experience I had. I’ve never walked into a store wanting to buy something so much, just a new iPhone to update what I currently have, and left because I was treated so poorly by the sales associate. The individual I worked with made me feel extremely uncomfortable, literally raised his voice with me and got rude with me, all because I was asking questions to try and understand what he was trying to sell to me, and instead it seemed as if he would respond with anger. It was a very unfortunate event and I’m still conflicted by it.
I needed a SIM card for my phone. They completely refused to give me one, or even let me buy one without activating a new account with them. Apparently its against policy and theres nothing they could do to help a customer get a

Ive been in this store multiple times and they are always super helpful and polite. They always help me with everything I need and when I was there today the gentleman walked me to the door and held it open for us!I imagine the only reason their rating is so low is because most people only think to rate a business when they have poor service, not when they have great service.
The battery in my Verizon MIFI died so I went to this store for help.The two guys who checked me in explained why it failed and one of them found a local battery supplier and had a battery set side for me.I waa able to buy the battery and get my MIFI back up and running (remote area with no cable available and satellite iffy).Thanks for excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff!!!W Wood
First time I have been completely disappointed in Verizon in the 25 yearsI have been with them.The customer service at the South Boardmen store in Traverse city, was beyondatroshest. Much to do with the assistant manager in charge.( Not front line management material.)Verizon, you need and have done much better in your staffing.
I like to touch and feel the phone I am buying, downside is you have to convince salesperson of your choice.
These guys are AWESOME! I drive 50 miles out of my way to go to THIS specific store. If you get there first thing in the morning there isint a line but usually they are pretty busy. Will drive here before I call the 800 #.

Very busy place, not as bad as secretary of state, but they do get the job done. Best of all its a American base company. They use USA employees, unlike AT&T when you call customer service, your switched to the Philippines . I would rather wait in line to talk to someone I can understand, then wait on the phone for 30 minutes for a non USA employee of AT&T or now DirectV since AT&T bought them out. This is why I refused to continue with DirectV, because if AT&T wont stand behind America, why should we give them any of our business. Very sore spot with me.

Avoid this place if at all possible! Went there because the Verizon company told me over the phone to go there and show them my phone had no physical damage. So, I did go there and after an hour wait they finally get approached by someone that tells me they cant help me, they need to see my phone messing up. WHAT? All they had to do is look at it and they couldnt even handle that. I called Verizon back and they they appologized for these guys and are sending me a new phone.

Just had Greg Arntz set me up with a new i7 for myself and a i7plus for my daughter and was extremely impressed at the depth of knowledge and the great service. This is the Verizon store to hit if you dont like waiting in line and questionable service at the main store on Airport.
This is the only verizon i go to. I live in kalkaska, and still would rather spend the time and gas money to go to this store ..they will explain and teach you about what you need to know.
The salesmen will flat out lie to you to get you to sign a contract then leave you high and dry. They totally took advantage of me and had no remorse. If you want to go Verizon, go to Best Buy. Theyre not on Verizons payroll and wont try to screw you on purpose

When I smashed my phone they helped me make a claim on the insurance to get a new one.Why does version really have to cost so damn much money? I try to be loyal because of familiarity but every year it just gets more expensive for service that gets a teeny bit worse every year.

Sales people were very unhelpful in getting my sons work phone replacement ordered. They now cannot reactivate a phone that is only a little over a year old. Their assurion insurance says its painless to get a replacement phone replaced. It was thee most painful experience Ive ever had. My son asked the young sales lady what the website was and she laughed at him and said I dont know. When his phone arri es hell be going to a Verizon store, not the dealer on South Airport in TC.
