Average selection of resale items, some nice, some not. Leaving a reviewi because I bought several items, two of which were for other people, daughter and mother and neither of them fit. Within 24 hours I called and asked if I could come back and get a store credit. I was told that, no, they can’t give refunds because they pay out their consigners. I guess that’s great if you’re a consigner, awfully quick compensation, not so much if you are a customer.

We found this gem during our thrift store hunt while in town from Ohio. There was a great variety of items! The owner was very nice and even recommended a few dinner spots we should try. This is the type of store where you have to buy the item if you fall in love because it might not be there tomorrow! We would definitely return!

Absolutley over packed. The owner said they have been been in business 30 years and the stuff in there looks like it has been sitting for 30 years too.Like everything i touched left me wanting to wash my hands afterwards it waa all so dusty and old.

Im from out of town, and I love coming to Traverse City. My favorite resale store is Ebb Tide. The owner always has on a friendly smile and makes each shopping experience amazing! Great place to buy name brand, clean, quality clothes!

What a cool store! Had some great stuff for the prices they were selling for! It is consignment, but prices were very good. If the item on the rack was there over 3 months (it shows dates on the tag) it was 50% off. It’s a little packed, but for the most part a really fun shopping experience! The ladies that were working were extremely nice as well. Spent way too long in there!

Excellent resale shop! Today was my first visit, I was very happy with the variety and quality of the items purchased. Clothing was clean, clearly marked, and easy to go through. As a plus sized individual, it is rather difficult to find second hand clothing in my size. Ebb Tide had a decent selection of clothing my size. I was amazed. Thank you to those that brought in items for consignment.. You are amazing. Ebb Tide is my new guilty pleasure.

Theres a reason why THIS resale store has been around over 10+ years .... friendly, clean, well marked items priced to SELL! You can find Art, kids stuff, American made clothes(you have to check tags, but there were more than normal), books (on CD even), guys stuff like helmets, boots, belts and sports gear. We love our Scrabble game we bought there. Oh, and NO stinky grandmas closet clothes...those are at Goodwill up the road lol. A small business in TC worth supporting!

She is soooo friendly and helpful! Great stuff, something for everyone. I think some of the shoes are a bit pricey but really all in all its a great resale shop, one of my favorites!

[Update: 1 year later, prices are high and inventory rotates fairly slow]Ive gone here about a half dozen times in the past two years. This store generally has items that are slightly better condition that the other thrift stores in town. Prices are good to high; housewares are generally good, clothing is generally good to average, books are generally high, etc. Inventory rotation is slow, they must not get many donations. Employees generally nice when you talk to them, but usually just keep to themselves. Overall, its worth the occasional stop in.

Another EPIC visit to Ebb Tide Resale in Traverse City. From the eclectic finds, to the awesome owner, to the steals you get if an item has been there longer than 3 months, in my opinion, you dont want to miss this TC gem. I never leave without purchasing a one-of-a-kind item in excellent condition. The only complaint that could be had about this shop is that there is so much eye candy to peruse, its easy to lose track of time!

Clean helpful and interesting shop

Good concept, poor execution. Store is so full of items that it is hard to look through the racks. Some items are over a year old. This overcrowded atmosphere must also make it difficult to clean because it is dusty and dirty. Also, selling Avon out of a store such as this is odd and the Avon items they have look like they have been there for years.

This shop is truly amazing, she is compassionate and caring she has dresses that will make your fairytale wedding come true her prices are. Amazing I would recommend this shop to all future brides

She has quite the selection, although some prices are a tad too high, especially considering its a resale shop! Then again an item I found was priced a tad low for the brand and condition... And what a sweet couple of gals!

Broke the terms of our consignment contract by not contacting us if our things did not sell after the expiration date. Basically stole our stuff then denied it.

Its really nothing special. Theres not a large selection of clothes, but you might luck out. Its decently priced, and they carry name brands but there are better places to spend your shopping time.

Very clean, organized, large selection of womens clothes and coats, they also sell Avon products here!

Some or their stuff is actually cheaper on eBay. If I am going to a resale shop its usually to get a deal but there are none to be had here.

This place is great, I love the discounts on older items!

This is a fantastic Traverse City Resale and Consignment Shop. Everything is clean and well-organized making it very easy to shop and browse for ladies, mens, teens and childrens clothing, accessories, toys and home decor.
