The only place that you can really get groceries on the peninsula (other than the general store which has very limited selections). The Peninsula Market has very friendly staff, a wide selection of local products, and reasonably priced goods. They also have a selection of products, sides, and meals made in house.
This place has a crazy good selection of wine. I loved this place. Decent prices, friendly staff, CLEAN BATHROOMS. Great selection of snacks. I really liked it.
I have been helping out at my friends grape vineyard this summer at Old Mission. I love the friendly Peninsula Market staff and service.
Our favorite store! Whenever we go to TC area we make sure to stop here!
Love this store have just the right amount of stuff and it’s just right down the road.
Nice store. Has more than youd think.
Cute country store w/old town charm.Nice little deli-good verity of snack foods
Wish they would wear masks but its a cute store
This market impressed me with its variety of healthy foods and choice in quality nutritional items . Beautiful atmosphere staff greets you with a smile very helpful and is happy to answer any questions and is well informed in each and every product..
Does not look like much from the outside but once in there it is a full-blown grocery store with a lot of gourmet items and of course an amazing wine selection. Very impressed.
We always have looked forward to coming to the market during our stay on the peninsula. I was in the wine section and my mask was below my nose. Instead of simply asking me to put it up, he SCREAMED at me. I was upset. I went to pay for the items and tried to explain that I had a note from my doctor. MORE SCREAMING! Said he didnt want to see the note. Didnt want to hear what I had to say, but was screaming so much, his mask fell below his nose. A simple kind request would have been sufficient. Can a business refuse service to visitors or customers who are not wearing a face covering?Yes. Businesses open to the public are required to refuse entry or service to those who decline to wear a face covering under Executive Order 2020-153.Are there any exceptions to who must wear a face covering?Yes. The requirement to wear a face covering does not apply to people who:* Are younger than five years old, though children two years old and older are stronglyencouraged to wear a face covering; or* Cannot medically tolerate a face covering such as people who have trouble breathing, areunconscious, incapacitated or unable to remove the covering Can a business refuse service to visitors or customers who are not wearing a face covering?Yes. Under the latest order, they also cant assume somebody without a face covering is medically exempt from wearing one, though they can accept that explanation if the customer offers it.Anyone who cannot medically tolerate a face covering is not required to wear one.Businesses can no longer assume customers without face coverings have medical justification for doing so.Now, they must get verbal confirmation from unmasked customers that they have medical reasons for entering without a mask.Screaming sir was unnecessary, though some debate whether its a violation of state and federal. Discrimination laws, certainly the SCREAMING took it to another level, especially when I showed you my note.I would advise you to speak with your attorney for a clarification on the law. And to accuse me of not being considerate of my fellow man when you clearly lacked any compassion for a woman who was standing in your store crying!
Total joke. Had a mask on and yet they are a total joke! A BUNCH OF RUDE PEOPLE! i love how our right are gone bc they have a store policy? I do not recommend this store!
Wow, after years of shopping here I just witnessed the rudest customer service by the guy in the hat. Way better ways to let people know the pumps are off and your closed; Like turning off your light up “Open” sign. Clearly screaming at them to read the sign is way more effective. Slow clap for CSR of the year.
Love there pizza.
I love Peninsula Market! They have a great selection of products and the staff is SO friendly!
My kids and i were verbally attacked at this market by the male cashier. We stopped to get snakes, the are only 6 and 2- 9 year olds. This man yelled at them, calling them germ spreaders and to get out of his store. He grabbed our snacks off the belt and through them behind him. This was a horrible thing to happen to little people, I got us to the car and called the police to make a report. No woman and children should ever have a man scare and intimidate them so they run to their car and have to call 911.
Super clean and great atmosphere! Youll find all kinds of TC goodies in here!
Clean store and friendly staff
Great wine selection with affordable prices
Large market for a small town. Has ALOT of variety and carries nearly anything you would need. Appears orderly and well kept. Pleasant to shop here. Easy to get to from town, and plenty of parking.
Great little store with friendly staff. We came to get some local wine and the winery we were going to was still closed so we stopped to wait and they had a nice selection of local wine. We did not even go to the winery because we had gotten what we wanted
Their homemade lunches are so good
Great wine selection of local wineries.
Its a great market, lots of take out meals.
Love this place, thanks for keeping it safe
Great little market. Excellent deli. If they dont have it, you dont need it.
Very rude and discriminatory. Made my father in-law leave because he didnt wear a mask. He has severe medical issues that make it not possible to wear a mask and they would not serve him.
Very nice store real good variety of goods some in store home cooked and baked goods
May not be any pizza delivery to the peninsula, but the Market makes a great pizza you can pick up without having to go into town. Bakery goods, like the cookies and things, are DELICIOUS. Smaller selection of groceries than in town, but you can certainly find all of your basics, plus some. Super convenient and really glad to have this store close to home. Another big plus - If you love Buchans ice cream, the Market carries allot of what they have left at end of season until its all sold. Great little local grocer.
Awesome little market. Great food here. Good beer selection.
Its a Great Little store! It has all the essentials! Really enjoy the people that work there. Good people
Love this one-stop-shop!
Great Little market very good selection, produce, bakery, good prices! Neat little store, especially being almost the middle of nowhere.
Super friendly people and a great selection of groceries, plus wonderful fresh made to order pizzas! Glad I decided to stop in rather than drive into Traverse City. Havent been there, stop in. Large selection of beers & wines, as well as local honeys, dried cherries and more.
Very nice convenient grocery that is located in suttons bay. They have a large variety for not being a huge chain grocery. Fresh fruit, deli - hot and cold, local coffee, various alcoholic beverages, gluten free products, dairy frozen foods and other assundry items.
Excellent pizza for carry-out. Great little market with amazing selection of grocery items, as well as beer & wine... including local varieties.
Lots of local treasures, tasty pies and vegetables.
Great place! Super fresh deli food and friendly staff
Always a pleasure. The Peninsula Market is a true value to our community.
Great selection of wines very reasonably priced, great local stuff! Friendly staff.

Really nice grocery store out here in OMP
Love this lil market, always have! Best convenience store on the peninsula - must try the pecan rolls and breakfast pizza.
Just plain Great!
Unfriendly staff from the moment I walked in.A smile and a thank you would have made my visit much more pleasant. I will never return and will advise others to avoid this inhospitable place as well.
Great selection of food. A little pricier than a normal store but that is because they are out a way on the peninsula.
Had to visit since we were right next door at Pennisula Grill for lunch and it looked like a cute country store. Upon entering we saw a large display of various local items, i.e. chocolate covered cherries, dried cherries and blueberries, salsas, etc. They have a very nice selection of items, from speciality to every day. Staff was very friendly at the check out.
Very good variety of things
