Interesting place to browse and find inexpensive tarps as well non professional Ok tools. However, I would suggest you know your prices on everyday shop items though.

Tools and more tools. Reputation for cheap Chinese tools, but they offer different quality grades and if you look at other tool suppliers they are Chinese made too. I’m satisfied with the tools I bought.

Prices dont seem as good as they once were and the lack of coupons doesnt help. You have to be a member for many sales now and pricing can be confusing because of it. It would be better to just give members 10% off at register so there didnt have to be so many confusing tags.

Went in and ordered a power tool they didnt have in stock. No problems at all. Purchased a few other things while I was there as its an hour and a half drive over and another back

Have gone thru 3 Badland ZXR 9000 electric winches in 1 month. All electrical issues. The store will sell and replace nut will not fix or install. Blind leading the blind. Like selling spoiled food without conscious.

If youre just looking to get a cheap tool to help you on your first project or looking for something youre not spending an arm and a leg for just to beat up on this is the place to go. The warranty they offer is great. I love my Milwaukee and tool truck brands but for the price you cannot beat some of their stuff.

They shouldnt have sick people at the cash register, I will not be going back.

I think they need more workers because its hard to find things sometimes in their store, which is not their fault. They dont choose the layout, the Corp does. But the staff are polite. If my item was out of stock on the shelf, theyve always told when shipment was going to arrive.

Purchased an LED light kit for my utility trailer. after 4 months the wiring casing so bad was crumbling. I could not get any copperwire that wouldnt disintegrate as I tried to cut it open to re-splice. I took it to the store they would not refund it because it was one month over there 90-day return policy. Warning; harbor freight carries a lot of junk. Better off purchasing a quality item at a little higher price and having a real warranty.

Typical Harbor Freight store. Standard variety of low cost items. Some items are durable enough, others are junk. Moving blankets and gloves are always a good deal.

Needed some trailer hitch parts this time and they carried just the right stuff for the job. The prices are not bad and the quality is fair for the price. The weight rating on the parts are not as high as I wouldve liked, but itll do the job.I just hooked it up to my Jeep and pulled a sailboat out of the snow and ice to get some work done on the trailer wheels. I noticed no issues with anything, so Im very pleased as usual with the Harbor Freight!

Harbor Freight associates are by far the most helpful and courteous folks around.

They have all sorts of tools and some things you wouldnt even think that they might have. They also have craft projects for kids and a french fry maker. Go on in and see what you might find.

Clean store, good product choice, fair pricing, friendly and helpful employees. What more could you ask for?

The Traverse City Harbor Freight store is my favorite location. Its by far the cleanest and best organized H.F. I have been in. Period...Kudos to the staff and manager for taking pride in their store. YouTube is full of videos on both sides of the tool quality. Ive had great luck with the power tools. The hand tools are more hit and miss, but that is what you can expect for the price and country of origin of the tools... I have beaten up my $10 Angle grinder for years and its still going strong... My Impact sockets are proven performers as well... Ratchets and extensions on the other hand... Well... Ill stick with my Craftsman and Kolbalt on those, they never let me down...

Generally like this place but recently tried buying a trailer however they never have any in stock. Tried to order one but thats not an option. Was told to just call every Friday to see if one came on the delivery truck. Smh.

Love me some tools. Got everything. Car jumpers from China suck. I exchanged twice, soldered electronics. Beware of cheap make sure it plugs in and works in store, before you buy it.

Tools are not the best quality, but there are also a lot of good ones here. My main concern for a good rating was one time, I had a 30.00 gift card that I lost. This awesome guy helped me look for it, and he even gave me 20.00 to replace it! I did find my card and gave him the money. Staff is awesome!

The tools that I bought there broke after one day, the guy working the register didnt have the slightest clue how to ring anything up and it took about 20 minutes to get checked out. Would not reccomend Harbor Freight to anyone, honestly do not know how they stay in business.

Found what I needed before we even got there on there website and on sale was happy to no they had what we needed even before running out there. The store was clean the staff was friendly we where in and out in a few minutes with what we came for. Would recommend to my friends.

It was fine . Im out of town, that is my home town with out my tools and the windshield squiter on our van stopped working. I walked thru harbor freight to see if I could pick up the minimal tools needed to do the job. Of course it doesnt take much of an excuse to get me to go in there. I didnt by anything this time because were short on cash, so it will wait until i get home. I wouldnt need much to by the tools but we dont have much. If you have never been there you should go.

Went to refund a saw and upgrade to a better saw. Had the pricing set with the assistant manager the day prior to making the 2 hour commute to the store in Traverse City. Arrived to find out that no such deal wa cs to happen and if I wanted to upgrade, it would be an additional $98.00. Really? I just took the refund and went shopping at Lowes and bought there. I am pretty sure that harbor freight saw the last of my money. Traverse city harbor freight has a bunch of idiots working for them. I was trying to purchase a winch for my four wheeler when I had the service plan from two years ago and was still active The cashier guy said that I had to buy another one then pay $24 more for my service plan to renew he had no idea what he was talking about then proceeded to argue with me and yell pretty much telling me to take a flying hike! Very poor customer service I would not recommend anything from that place go to Cadillac

I was glad to shop here for the first time without being hounded in every aisle for help. It would be nice if my cashier didnt slam all my items on the counter and recklessly into the bag. Tossing brittle plastic items under heavier metal ones in the bag. Im sure asking a lot, but could he at least act like he likes his job? I hate my job, but I try not to let it interfere with providing service. Mr. F. should be fired, he clearly doesnt want to be there.

I normally talk to Frank ... VERY helpful, just got done shopping there.. and paid list for a 36 solar security light, and solar rope lights .. a girl at the counter was in such a hurry because people where in line she WOULDNT even look at the coupons ...I am not happy right now .. I spend at least $100 a week here .. its only $8 or $9 bucks, but give me a break!
