Great little liquor store in Traverse City! Stocked up on whiskeys I cant find back home, like Woodinville, Stellum, Elijah Craig rye and Elijah Craig Barrel Proof. Owner was about the friendliest guy I ever met. Prices were very good - SRP, not secondary.

Great food, friendly staff! We ordered the chicken shawarma and gyro sandwiches --some of the best weve ever had! -- plus great salads, and ate at the little tables out front with a wonderful German beer from their cooler. As good as any sit-down restaurant, with perfect ambiance away from the tourist crush to the east on Front St. If you like mediterranean food this is the place to come!

These mofos rock. I ran a mile and a half to buy some beer and they stayed open until 10:00 pm. I bought a 9 pack of wide mouth coors lights at 9:58 and made my way back to the Delamar.

Omg, I am so happy I found this place! Food is absolutly delicious! Best place to get Mediterranean food in all of Traverse City. Picked up some chicken Shwarma Wraps and a salad to take home for dinner, and my husband and I are both hooked now. Staff is super friendly as well.

Just tried the pizza and I would absolutely recommend it. The crust is thick and incredible. Hand made and shaped, with fresh ingredients, the pieces are large. Liked the fact it was not drenched in cheese (though there was plenty on it) - its just it made all of the other flavors that much more delicious.

Amazing gem in downtown Traverse City! Authentic and delicious Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern food. We visit every time we come to TC and always end up with too much food because we want to try everything! Our favorites are the curried chicken, hummus, tabbouleh, and chicken schwarma. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful and goes out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. You can also pick up many specialty beers, wines and other alcohol here. Highly recommend!!

Visit this place if you enjoy whiskey. The owner has an above-average selection of bourbons and ryes, with quality offerings priced low and high. Includes under-appreciated bonded whiskeys like Old Grand-Dad and Rittenhouse, and plenty of ryes (unlike smooth bourbons, these light off little volcanoes of flavor in the mouth). And hes happy to special-order hard-to-get brands.

Traverse City is lucky to have this place! I read some of the comments, and how can you not give this place a 5?! The person who left two stars saying they won’t come back next year... they must not have evolved taste buds and don’t need to come back to TC and destroy the good vibes of local gems. This place is extremely fresh and the salads are on another level of greatness! Nada herself makes all the delicious food daily and is from Iraq! Every employee is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the food. I love the falafel and quinoa with Avocado and mango! This place should be a sit down restaurant it’s so good!

Amazing food, delicious flavors! Wraps are toasted to a slightly crispy golden brown, which makes them even more enjoyable. Tried the falafel and kale/cabbage wraps - incredible. Baklava is perfect. Staff very pleasant. What a great find. Worth the drive from Glen Arbor and every dollar spent!

This is a must stop on every visit to Traverse City! Fantastic ethnic and middle Eastern cuisines with incredibly warm and kind owners. The store also has a wide variety of specialty beer, wine and liquors.

Im definitely went overboard, I got Chicken Shawarma, and Gyros for dinner, and either one of them would have been sufficient, but I ate them both because they were so good. (and all Id had to eat today was a banana for breakfast)

I just had a DELICIOUS Gyro! My boss is addicted to the shawarma. I also love that Socos is attached. I always find a great seasonal six pack thats out of stock elsewhere.

Authentic falafel, tabouli, and other middle eastern prepared foods and deserts. Their falafel is my go-to! Its my favorite in Traverse City!

Delicious food. Bringing much needed ethnicity to this foody town. I find it a bit pricey so for us its a treat rather than a regular.

I hate to say it, but we did not enjoy. The stuffed grape leaves were poorly-filled and had way too much lemon, the spanikopita was flavorless to the point we had to add our own feta, and the entrees were not much better. Parking is next to impossible, and you can forget trying to turn left during the summer. We wont be going again.

I absolutely love the food here!! When I lived in Traverse City, I was a frequent customer. Now that Ive moved out of the area, I make it a point to come and see Nada and her husband and get some of their delicious food. I dont eat Mediterranean in my new city because nothing compares to this food. Seriously! Everything else pales in comparison. Definitely try the chicken shawarma and fattoush salad.

These people are so nice and their food is delicious! My favorites are the Tabouli and the Spanikopita. Sometimes I get out late from work and this is the combo I want because mediteranian food is a staple comfort food in my family. They allow me to call that morning and reserve what I want so they dont run out before I get there! Love that!

Ive traveled to the Middle East, Ive had Schawarma there and in several major metropolitan areas. This is the best Schawarma Ive had, utterly wonderful.

Took my mom here when she was visiting me because I just moved to TC from Chicago and I had been raving to her about the amazing chicken shawarma you can find in big cities.Well Nadas blew any Chicago shawarma out of the water. Holy cow, is it good. And Nada is as sweet as pie and super helpful. Its my new favorite lunch spot when its ok to have garlic breath the rest of the day (Note: worth it!)

Stopped in to check out the chicken shawarma (which, as I learned from Nada, is pronounced SHOWermuh, while Veena says SHUHwermuh, leaving me confused) that Id seen advertised on the sign out front for a while now. Lets just say I wasnt disappointed. Definitely authentic Mediterranean. Chicken was juicy, sauce was amazing, and I had to use two napkins from the oil (this is a good thing). I had a fun conversation with Nada and Veena while my masterpiece was being concocted - the girls are exceptionally friendly and respectful.Truth be told, Ive been in the place dozens of times, even if just for a bag of ice and a six pack on the way to the beach, and Im always treated very well. They have a great Michigan beer selection, and Im sure the wine selection is great, too (Im not a connoisseur, but theres a lot there). Food is always great. If I didnt mention it, try the shawarma.
