Great store! Beautiful leather bags from Brazil as well as tons of Unsalted Coast apparel, shoes and more. The gentleman who was there this morning from Petoskey was so friendly and helpful.

WOW. Talk about customer service!!! I am helping my grandpa shop for my grandma this year. I was recommended to this shop for the items I am looking for by another downtown store employee, and they were so right! I called ahead to make sure they had what we were looking for before sending my grandpa in after work. Joe was extremely kind and helpful right away, he gave me very detailed descriptions of what they had in stock, made sure they had something in my grandmas size, and even used his personal phone number to text me pictures of the products so I could be absolutely sure my grandpa could have a one stop shopping experience. He then even offered to hold the items for me since tonight is mens night (which means grandpa will also get a free beer, pretzels, and a chance to win discounts...plus a one stop shop thanks to joe!? What more could a man want?!) and he wanted to be sure they wouldnt sell out before grandpa got there. They have high quality brand name products, a GREAT variety for all ages, and you just cannot beat the service! Thanks so much, Robert Frost, and Merry Christmas!!!

Joe Frost is one of the kindest people I know! I enjoy walking in his store because you are always greeted by his friendly staff!! He has a great selection of shoes and clothing plus the decor makes the store unique. I highly recommend stopping in for a visit while in Traverse City!

Not just a shoe store! Its a Traverse City experience! When you walk in its hard to decide which is better; the beautiful merchandise or the unique northern Michigan decor. Joe was incredible in making my boot buying experience a breeze when I live 4 hours away and was able to do the purchase over the phone. He knew exactly what I wanted and the customer service was great. I had the boots delivered at my house next day. The Johnson Murphy’s are awesome and very comfortable. My favorite shoe store ever! I was DEVASTATED after finding out the Petoskey location closed since thats where our vacation home is. I now drive to Traverse and its beyond worth the trip! If you only invest in one thing there, and dont go crazy with loads of bags like I do, get some ericmichael boots! They are by far and away the absolute best boots Ive ever owned and I have been buying them at Robert Frost for years!!!!!
