Every single time I go to Chadowboxx I have great time. My hair (extensions) are always on point...ALWAYS. The conversations are hilarious and fun. The product are top notch, and they smell sssssooo delicious. (I might have tasted a seasonal cream 1x...dont judge!)...thank GOD for filters because I look a mess today...but this hair is STILL on point when I look raggedy. 👌❤

From the first time I tried the product line I fell head over heels🤗🤗🤗🤗. The effectiveness of the cleaning of my hair to the conditioning of the hair is Amazing. You feel the change immediately when rinsing out the conditioner. I looked in the mirror after wrapping and allowing to dry on its own. The shine, the smoothness made me excited to style next!! Every experience I have had at the salon has been nothing short of professional.

My 10 year old daughter has been fighting seborrheic dermatitis on and off for a year now.....my natural home treatments/remedieswere not permanent. Nizoral did help, but I took her to see Charlisa for a scalp treatment and silk press. She used a sugar scrub and products that contained ingredients to stimulate the scalp and fight against dandruff.....like peppermint. Her hair came out amazing. Almost 2 weeks later and still no patching or flaking. My daughter loves her hair so much I see her taking more care of her hair this time by wearing a bonnet every night and combing it throughout the day. Charlisa is very friendly, talented and she educates. I recommend her to anyone looking for a regular stylist with a positive personality and friendly salon vibe.

I spoke to the owner Charlisa and she was informative, professional and friendly.Since my need was for my daughters job interview in 3 days her availability wasnt working for me. So, she made a recommendation to another salon and added if they didnt work out for me she would see if she could work out a late time.Very kind spoken. I hope to try her services in person. I called to offer a product suggestion and was rudely treated on the phone. Even if youre not interested, you dont have to hang up abruptly. I will never have my hair done there again despite their talented stylists because of the rudeness. sad!

Im a pain of a customer. My schedule is somewhat inconsistent, I am particular about my hair and will even put my hand on my scalp with chemicals in it, generally arrive half asleep and do not like to wait. At all. That being said, theres a reason why it takes so long to schedule an appointment here. Coming from the NYC area, I knew there were going to be few business that were going to be able to care for me and my needs. While Im still adjusting to scheduling appointments far in advance, this salon is on par if not better than any of the my other salon visits on the east coast. Happy to be a client, will be back.

Charlissa is a great person and business owner. Stopped in for a quick haircut in a time crunch and she was able to accommodate me (quick visit since Im a guy). Feiendly and comfortable atmosphere here. She does offer other services here to boost health, like foot detox. If you need your hair done go here and you will be well taken care of!

I started off going here every 2 weeks. Initially, evrything went well, my only complaint was that there was always a very strong burn smell in my hair, left from the iron right after I would get my hair done and it would slowly fade over a week or so. No complaints about the service itself or customer treatment. At every 2 weeks, it was never a problem getting a spot if I called a week or so ahead. As time went on, I tried to save money and empower myself since I travel for leisure and business, a lot, and I made appointments when it was relaxer time only (learning to wash and straighten my relaxed hair own my own). All if a sudden, my texts, calls, and voice messages went unanswered by the shop (my stylist specifically). It was well past relaxer time at that point in April/May, then one day I called randomly, just to see and one of the hair stylists answered the phone with a name I had never heard (there was only one to my knowledge, the owner bc everyone had quit), and said the soonest I could get in was a month and a half away. At that point I felt disregarded as a customer but was also liberated to move on with my next hair-chapter, if you will! I cut all my relaxed hair off, donated a foot of it, and started down the natural path, and I wouldnt change a thing! I had wanted to all along but was somewhat forced to at that point because I dont like random people giving me relaxers and I didnt do them myself. My advice if youre looking to go here would be to be persistent if you need service, be prepared to relax your own hair if necessary, or be prepped to go G.I. Jane style like I did. There was a high turnover rate with stylists but they all seemed to do a good job and were polite, while you were there at least. To this day I havent received a text or call (December), good luck for those looking for long term stability!

This was the worst salon I have ever been too. I had recently just moved from Atlanta(hair Capitol) and needed to get my hair washed and pressed. When I first arrived the staff was nice and friendly. Fast forward, the stylist half washed my hair(I could still tell it was dirty) but i was desperate to get my hair pressed so I didnt say anything. When it was time to blow dry my hair the stylist picked up a brissile brush to try and brush my hair straight. If you have natural hair or are familiar with natural hair then you know that youre supposed to section off the hair and use a blow dryer with a brush on the end to get the hair straight. So I told the stylist that my hair needed to be sectioned off she tried to argue with me. I mean its my hair and Im paying you. Long story short I paid for the half ass washed and left. I wouldnt recommend this hair salon to anyone and Im not the only one that feels like that. A couple of my coworkers have also visited the salon and feel the same way.

The experience wit her was amazing I wont lie.. But one thing that the owner might want to correct is her policy and let it be known before hand. While making the appointments with clients so that we know.. But this right here was not ok I didnt understand why and all I get was this. To me this is unprofessional and shows me who you really as a business woman. But thank you for your time.. And I hope you take this as a life lesson. Good day

I have never had someone be so rude over the phone to me! I left multiple messages over a 3 week span and never received a call back but I kept calling because the reviews were so great. When I finally got ahold of someone today, they we not apologetic at all for not responding after weeks and all the girl said was well were not open on Mondays and it typically takes us 24 - 48 hours to call you back. I originally called at the end of April...

Charlisa did my first sew in weave and I could not be happier. She explained about caring for it, proper hair products and maintanence. She was also available by phone if I had any questions or concerns. Her hair and style has let me keep my extensions lasting over 6 months. You have GOT to have her as your stylist.

They are amazing! Iman did my hair, color and flat iron, she made sure to keep it healthy and gave me tips on how to keep it healthy. She also trimmed my ends, which I hate to get done because some stylist take too much, she took the perfect amount and I am glad to say just after one visit and using some of her tips at home My hair looks and feels so healthy again! I will definitely be back. I am all the way in Hillsboro and it is so worth the drive!!!

I was nervous to get my hair cut here because I’m always nervous new places are gonna screw up my curls. But Tashanna (hope I spelt it right) did a great job, knew exactly what problema curly haired girls Can have, and gave me exactly what I wanted. They were very polite when I called to make the appointment and as well when I was in there getting my hair cut this morning! Cute little place too!Will definitely be going back!

I have been in Portland for about a year now and I learned quickly there aren’t many places that specialize in black hair. I had my appointment with the owner Charlisa. Every step of my experience was efficient, professional, and she made me feel very comfortable and treated me as if I’ve been a client for years. I started off with just a basic extension maintenance, wash, and curl. I am fully satisfied with her work, and I also am digging her hair care products.. That edge control is amazing. I have 4C type hair so some of you are aware how Important our edges need to laid and slayed properly. I come from the south so I’m very picky about who touches my hair. I have been going to Chadowboxx Salon for almost 5 years now and every time I leave the salon I feel as great as I did the first time. Charlisa the owner is extremely professional and takes a genuine interest in understanding her clients lifestyle and how that pertains to the individuals hair care needs. She is extremely organized, diligent and punctual. Immediately upon booking an appointment you receive a text reminder as to the date and time you schedule so there is no confusing about appointment times. Most importantly the woman just knows hairs! Every time I go in I learn something different about my hair and her knowledge extends to at home care and maintenance so I can recreate styles myself. Her staff is warm and friendly creating a peaceful environment. Im a model so my hair gets put through the ringer from curly to straight, short to long and constantly being drenched in harmful product by stylists at shoots. Even still with Charlisas help my hair has grown long and healthy without compromising style and practicality. I would highly recommend people with all hair types to check out Chaddowboox Salon.

Horrible customer service! My god all I wanted was to find a salon close to me to maintenance my locs though my lock journey and I had called once to come in to have them fix a couple locs I was not pleased with from another salon but sadly I was not able to make my appointment so I called chadowboxx as soon as a learned I would not be able to make my appointment about 30 minutes before my appointment due to personal matters, the woman I was scheduled with with fine with that and told me I could contact her to reschedule. Well this time about two week later I call to make a appointment and he woman who answered was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! she chewed me out because I could not make my last appointment even though I called to cancel it and I was told she might not see me because i did not make my last appointment! She was talking over me and told me maybe her salon would not be best for me I was very Unsatisfied with how she spoke to me I will never step foot in that salon!

Chadowboxx is definitely my new salon. I value the level of knowledge, professionalism, and expertise that I receive from stylist Charlisa. She listens to what service/style that you want, she then gives you just that...beautifully done. What is important to me is healthy, good-looking hair...and after being serviced there, my third time, I can honestly say that my hair is healthier. Charlisa gave me a really cute cut & style, that I totally love... a mini-makeover! Chaddowboxx is well versed in all types of hair services. A superb place to go for all of your hair care needs. Charlisa and her staff are amazing!
