Used the showers and attempted to sleep in our van here for two nights. First night was great. There was a security guard walking around, showers were clean, we felt comfortable sleeping- no issues. The second night did not go as well. Showers were still great, but we didnt see security around the second night and there were some questionable people in the lot acting really erratically. As we settled in to go to sleep, they started banging on our windows looking for someone. It made us take uncomfortable and we ended up leaving to park somewhere else. Seems like a coin toss what youll get.

This place is great. Christian services offered mornings on Sunday. Toilets in the shower rooms. Soap and even mints.The store isnt missing a thing anyone on the road could want. From beer to cut up fresh fruit and everything in between.This definitely beats jubitz

Very nice staff working here. Shower rooms are so clean. Thomas is the guy who keep the showers cleaned. They do provide towels, hair dryer, body wash is soo good with orange fragrance. Having a barbershop 💈.

It all right but they need to clean up the floor in the restroom but the other wise the store is excellent

Fueled here and did not get the shower credits. Tried to use my ultra One credit a mere 6 hours after fueling only to be told there wasnt any. Showed my receipt to the cashier, she said it was only valid at the place that I had fueled. To hell with TA Ill never fuel here again

As a former travel centers of America employee at site 183 in troutdale Oregon I DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING for their company. The service shop General Manager and the Assistant Manager and the Site Manager at site 183 dont care and they do not take written formal complaints seriously. The basically encourage certain employees negative disrespectful behaviors. The General Manager told me at one point it was my fault for the way a technician was trying to inttimidate me/yelling at me. She also informed me at one point that she doesnt get paid to help the TSAs out at the counter. If management doesnt like you for whatever reason then you might as well look for another job because they will treat you like your nothing and speak to you like your nothing. I REPEAT I DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING FOR TRAVEL CENTERS OF AMERCICA... Unless you like being taken advantage of or you enjoy being intimidated and yelled at by technicians and by management.

Cool and clean TA, there are many parking spots available as this place has a bigger parking, also you don’t have to wait for the shower on line, clean showers are available any time of the day. Recommended 💯

One of the better TA locations. Cheap fuel that pumps fast, SHOWER #6 HAS THE MOST WATER PRESSURE OF ANY SHOWER I’VE EVER USED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! 👍

This is a nicer TAPlenty of amenities. Not a ton of free parking. Set your eggtimer for a shower 5min of hot water. Movie room,bar, subway, Popeyes, laundry, arcade.

Pit stopped here for restroom and Popeyes. Clean restrooms and place. Staff at restaurants are still wearing masks which is cool. One minor thing is that the stall doors arent very secure. I had just gone potty and had just stood up to pull up me pants, and the door swung open. I let maint know of the issue. Showers and laundry available for us. Subway located right next to Popeyes. Plenty of parking available. Gas station attached.

Won’t let you use some points to pay for part of your parking; it’s all or nothing. I know it’s company policy, but still I can’t in good conscience give any business days with such a policy more than one star. I won’t give these people my money ever.

I especially like the shower. 2 bath towels, a hand towel, wash cloth and shower mat. Also cups, candy and bar soap, and a hair dryer.

Got a shower for $15 dollars and they give you enough time to really use it even if you share it with a partner. They provide wash rags, soap and towels, in-room hair dryer as well.I do recommend bringing your own soap, shampoo and conditioner because their soap does not lather up well.We were treated well, respectful staff.Ill definitely be back because other places that offer showers dont meet the same standards.

Service department doesnt honor waitlist order. Initially claimed a 4 to 5 hour wait and 5 trucks ahead of us but turned to a 10+ hour wait and who knows how many trucks skipped ahead.

Always good here. Place is a bit strangely setup, but once you get your barings its all good. Its always clean, and the staff is great. Shower is hot and powerful. They have everything you need, and some good food around. I miss it when we are gone.

It used to be a nice place Run down and dirty. The truck parking is a glorified junk yard with some trucks that havent moved in months/years.

Its amazing how they keep up with this place. Nice showers and the CSRs are amazing as well. It becoming a routine coming to these places and I have not been disappointed get.

A lot better than the slimy trash fire next door known as Loves. Definitely come here, avoid Loves at all costs.

Used to stay here 2-3x a week. But lately been more and more cars/rvs taking up more and more truck and bobtail parking. Also get panhandled and wanna buy a watch more and more. Now I just make the extra effort to cruise to Jubitz where they enforce the truck area. Not to mention their restaurant is open....

Best food a Country Pride (CP) can offer. This was by far the best CP I have ever had. A must good, the food was fresh and seasoned just right.

It was my first time going to this particular TA. I had the unpleasant experience of witnessing some of the worst customer service to date! 😳.Christina at register#42 waved me over to her register, did not speak even once, except to mention the total. She had a very stand off-ish attitude, and didnt even hand me my receipt, instead she was looking around... I literally had to reach and get my own receipt. They do have a nice variety of things in the store.... Customer service isnt one of those things though. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I was in the shop from 0900 to 1900 because these clowns took 10 hours to do a DOT Inspection and replace a leaking wheel seal. The skinny mechanic has an abrasive personality, and if i could get away with it, I wouldve knocked out a few of his teeth for him. Stay away from these incompetent assclowns. You have been warned.

We work in Portland a few nights a week, hotels get expensive so we would stop here to rest a few hours being it felt safe, well tonight we stopped in only to take a break and eat... Not even 1 minute after parking the Parking lot police started in on us having to leave even tho the food we were trying to eat during our break WAS bought there! I asked him when that started because we live pretty far and normally would get a couple hours rest there when we would come up to work, He proceeded to tell me we have never been there and rested because hes never seen our car and hes been around for years... Disappointed considering the amount of money we spend there... You WONT see another penny from us period! I do believe anyone with a brain would want to make sure customers like us come back and get the same respect and courtesy they have always made sure to have for the truck stop...

I check in at the TA from yesterday at 2 pm too fixed my truck they told at 8 am they will start fixed the problem I have and right now its at 11 am still im not in the shop wasting my time laying too me and problem I have because the TA the chang the blugs oil pan with cover but they didnt replaced very well and have oil leaks very bad company the ta i will never ever back again too any TA no more layers layers layers layers layers if i can give you 0 star

Horrible fuel setup and service..Do yourself a favor and drive 500 feet down the road to the loves where they have friendly attendants, more room, and a cleaner atmosphere.

Always stop here... laundry is getting$$$.. (beware) Subway Popeyes..hot dogs sit down restaurant.. lots of other choices well within walking distance of truck stop..lots of parking but getting carried away with the paid spots...(really TA whats next going to make it a pay lot..Lol).. showers have take your skin off water pressure...lol very nice...but water wasnt hot enough for me...

What is going on with the (much too high) water pressure in showers. Adjust handle for proper pressure and water is ice cold. Only warm at best, pressure is set for irrigation system, not shower. This is not new invention that needs to be figured out. On site management is doing a bad job in this area. Call a competent plumber out today and fix it, whatever it takes.

Inside store dirty and disorganized, mens room, half the stall doors have no way of securing them, floors are filty, smells bad. Whole place terribly in need of renovation

The older Hispanic woman that wears a viser instead of a mask. And works during the day is very rude to customers! And also bot so covid-19 procedure folowing. She caughed all over my change and tried ti hand it back to me. I said no to wash ger hands. And she just gave me the most disgusted look ever. She needs a talking to. But the woman at night with purple hair is AWESOME and also very sweet. She is great.

05-17-18 Back again.Been here many times.4-25-16. Before arrival i called the reserve parking desk and purchased reserve parking. (Im guessing they answer the phones somewhere back east for all TA reserve parking reservations).When I arrived I parked my truck in a reserve spot on back, and walked inside to get a cash receipt for my books. Travis (a manager on duty at the register) asked for my truck number, as soon as I have it to him he gave confirmed by telling me my company name. That is gold star service. And I was not wearing a company logo at the time.Travis, thank you. Job well done.

This place is dirty and doesnt follow mask mandates...maybe they do i just saw a trucker return to his truck for a mask. when I walked in the back doors 6 men with no masks were around me...I love that they kick regular people out because they cam park anywhere and usually trash the TA bad. Ontario, ca petro maken the regular people get a permit to park...

Excellent place to stop. Big parking lot. Dog areas. Nice views and walking area for exercise. Great restaurant choices around. Beautiful little town to go visit. I suggest you try Sharis for dinner.

Our tire started on fire, went to the shop and spoke to Tony Huntington a mechanic, he was great stayed late and told us what he thought caused it and also told us what needed to be replaced. Great guy.

Reviews of the restaurant - very pleasantly surprised at the little truck stop restaurant. Wasnt interested in fast food but was starving on my way home and decided to give it a try. Soup is usually bland but their pepper pot soup was fantastic and bold, and their chicken fried chicken ensured that I will stop again! The waitstaff were all pleasant, friendly, and attentive! Karen was my waitress, and she was on top of things and super friendly. Thanks for the great lunch.

This TA has one of the better shops but since it is TA, they still overprice everything and TA Corporate is the most greedy of the other major Truck Stops. More than half the lot is paid parking.

While my truck was in the shop for oil change I had a nice lunch. Friendly staff works here. Beside crowded parking this place is good for stoping.

I LOVE TA theyre cleanest showers 24hr truck shop has mobile service to go pick up your truck if it breaks down. The bobtail lot is FREE, theres a game room for families AND a bar but shop 3 restaurants and countless travel gadgets at discounted or sale prices better than wal mart. Scales, jacks, winterwear, blankets and they donate to charities. The customers are very glad to see the CSAs knowing theyre their home away from home ❤

When traveling one of my favorite spots to stop. People are friendly. Coffee is good. Ladies room is clean.

My transmission went out late in the evening, so pulled in to TA. There was no other option at the time but spending the night in my car... Well, I didnt know about the country ordinance that you can only sleep in a commercial vehicle. Their friendly security officer came over and we talked and he sent me inside to speak with the manager, Seth, just as he was about to leave... Seth was kind enough to give me a note to put in my window that would allow me to rest for the night and gave me two days to move my car. I rested as well as I could and the next morning got the car moved. Thank you, Seth... And your security officers for allowing me a safe place to rest after a loooong day at work. 😁😁😁

Came just for a shower as were car camping. Attendant was friendly and helpful. Showers were super clean and a good price (15$) Came with towels, bar soap, hair dryer, and some mints.

Not the easiest place to park and a huge abundance of reserved parking. Everything inside is spread out, with laundry facilities at one end of the building and drivers lounge at the other. Plan on a bit of walking until you learn the layout. On the plus side, food was good and the servers are super friendly

My husband is a truck driver & he told me that the trucks are pretty much stuck there because they havent plowed the snow....

Do not go here in the snow. They dont plow. Drivers been stuck for 3 days.

Good place for an extended (34) break. It gets crowded but that’s to be expected at any truck stop. Good food, bar with pool tables and games, pretty much everything you need, and walking distance to other places/eateries.

Gas attendant was polite and even washed my window. However, at my next stop I noticed the spilled gasoline down the side of my car. Probably wont return.

This place has turned into a joke. Prices have raised and the quality of service went down. The restraunt has raised their prices too and I waited almost 45 minutes before I asked about my steak and when I told them we were leaving after waiting so long and the locals coming in after us was getting their food they told me 5 more minutes and the manager wouldnt even come talk to us. Locals are more important then truck drivers at this place 😥

Dirty stop in an inconvenient location. Same could be said for any of the other travel centers on this stretch of Troutdale road. If you dont have to stop here, dont.

Love this TA. I hardly give 5 stars to this chain but where to start?! Plenty of fuel islands, plenty of parking. Clean. 3 fast foods and a big restaurant. Barber. And a bar. Saving the best for last, very friendly staff. A good place to take time off....

I think the restaurant served a very good meal. I also think its ridiculous how the truck stop eliminates more & more spots for trucks to park overnight & makes more reserved parking spots therefore charging drivers $17.00 to park in them. Most companies will not pay for that parking so it comes out of the drivers pocket and since parking is hard to find (legally) were stuck paying. This is not a tax write off it comes out of our wages. It just isnt far to the working driver & it isnt good business!

Lots of spots filled with Bob tails even though there is a big lot for them and alot of dropped trailers.

Very nice. Bathroom clean, even though the sinks were so short, they might have done well in a preschool. We had lunch and the food was tasty. The salad bar was fresh and cold, good selection. If youre feeling adventurous, theres a bar with karaoke!

If I could give them no stars I would the shop here is worthless

Ive only ever been to the restaurant part of TA. We like eating there a few times a year. The food is better than what you would think. Great salad bar and the wait staff is very good.

Terry (sp?) was an exemplary service writer!She is the gal to talk to! She was amazing in helping me set up and complete my new tire appt with ease. The guys in the shop did a great job in a timely manner!I highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

They were excellent! I called ahead to get my PM done. They said that they could get me in after 8am and they called me at 8:10 and when I pulled in they gave me a bay # and they worked quickly to get me back on the road! Also, shower staff was excellent and they even helped me punch in my code because I didnt have my glasses on me! The overall experience was exemplary!!

Great customer service... And when they figured out they had a long line for servicing my rig they actually suggested a competitor nearby for shorter wait time. Tony at the service center was EXCELLENT! Assessed my problem quickly and made very helpful suggestions.

Better than the Loves next door. But thats only until management stops caring which is the issue with Loves next door. This TA also has BT parking seperate from the other parking near the 4 wheeler lot! Lots of BT parking so leave the full spots to full Combo rigs!😁

Unfortunately my reason for stopping at this TA was for a repair I had arranged the day before...I advised the shop Id be there between 0400 and 0500!! When I arrived at 0430 I was informed that there were no techs until 0800!! Hence my one star!! I then went over to the Loves in Troutdale where they promptly repaired my trailer and down the road I went!!

I hate this place. Too busy. Hard to turn around onto 84 west. It works but barely. Good place for a truck stop. Night parking and shady creatures looming.

Their restaurant had a very good soup and salad bar, the orders we made were served promptly and we were served by a wonderful woman named Karen. Of special note, they serve some of the best lemonade that I have ever tasted.

Just go 100ft more to Loves. If you drive a car, like most, with a left hand fill, expect to bee in line for a long time.I drive this highway frequently, and have been stuck in line at this station a few times. I pulled up from the other side, as half the pumps were not being used and after several minutes, an attendant finally came to me and started yelling at me about how the pumps are one-way and told me he would not pump. So, I went Loves next door, did the exact same thing and they were prompt, courteous, and cheaper.

They are there when you need them. The facility is consistently maintained, they have vigilant security, the food is reliably satisfying and the store has good products and is pretty comprehensive. All of the staff and workers at the pumps are friendly.

Restaurant, good food and service. Staff were friendly, the cook got eggs perfect. Daily specials look good.Gas station had good service and competitive prices. Commercial truck service, but I havent any experience with this service.

There was limited mens restrooms available last Friday. First one was closed due to cleaning. At least the sign said so. No telling when they finished. Next one had a closed handicapped stall, and a stopped up toilet. So this left one toilet available and no accessibility for handicapped.

The waitresses are friendly in the restaurant but my husband ordered a meal that came with the salad bar that he doesnt eat. He was going to let me have the salad instead and the waitress said they couldnt do that and went to explain someones always watching and they would charge for the salad bar. I was shocked and neither of us got the salad bar. I dont get the big deal he wasnt using it at all but whatever. Other then that its a nice place.

Nice place to stop. Nice people, very clean. Not easy to get out of in a semi truck though. All parking for trucks was full at 3:30 in the afternoon.

Clean friendly people dont bother you if you need to stay in their parking lot for the night traveling

Have visited this TA many times over the years. Its always been a favorite of mine anytime Im in the neighborhood and Id have to say its gotten better. Just make sure you got there early because a lot of other drivers feel the same way.

Well the first night that I stayed here I had employees that wanted to play games I explained to the management what happened and hopefully the management spoke to that employee other than that day today is like my third day being here just great and I give them three stars because of that employee the management took care of the problem looks like but they all young kids and they still need to learn

Excellent place and buy what you need for your trip. Good food and nice customer service. At least on this T/A.
