Great little location for frozen custard(tons of mixable flavors!) and Italian ice. Custard with Italian ice on it is called a Gelati, which broadens your possible flavor combos exponentially.Staff was incredibly helpful on our first visit, took the time to explain the different products and suggested flavor combinations for our family. Definitely a great family environment and a great family business, worth the trip to visit!

Super tasty, too many choices/options! Gonna have to try them all 😋 owners are nice and if theyre not busy, get some info on the pictures that decorate the place. Worth many visits.

This is an ice-cream lovers paradise. The flavor combos are endless, with the vivid flavors of the various ices contrasting with the silky-smooth custard. Try the fresh fruit flavors--- my personal faves are the coconut and the mango ices, layered with custard. Yummmmm! The experience is made even more memorable by the attentiveness and caring of the staff. This place truly deserves to make the big-time--- its a local Troutdale treasure!

It is remarkable! The service is great. The gelati is something out of this world. It is nothing like gelato, but it is a must have because it is something that youve never had before.

Love this place! We go out of our way to stop in Troutdale at J. Gelati every time we travel from Eastern Washington to Portland and beyond. As everyone says, the staff are so personable and fun to visit. The gelati is amazing, the flavor selection of Italian ice and custard is endless. Going back very soon, cant wait.

This was very different from what I had imagined! Ive had gelato but I guess I never had gelati! It was very delicious! And I like how you can customize the flavor a for the custards! This made it a very unique experience.
