Took car in. Didnt have an appointment so have to wait 2.5 hours for the tire inspection to be done. Wait is expected but the front desk person is pretty impatient and had an attitude. There was a customer after me and had no appointment, he complained how long it was taking and he got service before me. So I guess being nice and polite is not appreciated but complaining will get job done fast. Not all employees are like that in this location. I got my tire replacement with them 2 months ago. I had to deal with the same front desk person and had similar experience. However, other employees are pretty nice. Dont let one person bring down the whole business.I have got tires and service from other discount tires and was never treated rudely like that. Other stores usually have a person dedicated to air check. People dont need to get out of car, go to front desk and wait in line with people with longer service time. This way, air check people come in and get out in less than 10 minutes and other customers get service faster as well. Lastly, if the store is short on staff, get more people. Many Discount tire customers choose to replace tires here because they offer free inspection, tire rotation and good service. If thats gone, so will the customers.

Discount tire never lets me down. I’ve done business with them for 20 years and at multiple locations and this one fit right in. The place is very clean and they did a good job with covid regulations first of all. Second of all the staff was very nice, I believe Andrew was the gentleman that checked me in, and they finished the job faster then they said. They also packed my winter wheels up clean for me to transport. Good job guys.

It was a good place to take my cars there to get tires until the last time ( 07/2021) I took my friend car to replace 1 tire and when the salesman ( Corey ) checked her vehicle out and stated all the tires need to replace, the all tires still have at least 20k mile on the tread, he sold us 1 tire and put extra charges on we didn’t even know. I stood there and observed he pressured other customers to buy.

To do Air Check. A guy told me to wait and he would be right back. After more than 20-min wait, another guy came and asked me to leave, because they need to have a lunch break and nobody could help me. Seriously?!

Had a great experience back last winter when I needed four new tires for car. They made the service fast and friendly and most importantly they seemed to have done good work as well.

Got back from a trip up north and found a screw in my tire. I’m nit much of a car person so I panicked thinking I wouldn’t be able to go anywhere for the holiday. I tried a couple other tire places but they were closed for the holiday. I came to discount and they squeezed me in even though I didn’t have an appointment. They repaired my tire in about 20 minutes no charge. I’ve never been more impressed, especially considering the fact that it is a holiday weekend. I would highly recommend.

Been there several times paid with a check no problem went today and it was declined I’ve had the account for over 30 years and over 10 times the amount went to Firestone got the tires with a check no problem and great service will never go back to discount tire again they lost a good customer have more cars to get tires on there loss

After being a loyal customer of the Rochester rd location for 20 plus years before it closed, I have called and even shown up to the new location and the service is less than what I have come to expect. The two guys working at the time where doing their best but it is clear to see that there is not enough staff to handle the added people from the Rochester rd location in Troy.

If youve got time to waste, this is the shop for you.I bought new tires here a year ago and was pleased with the experience.But this morning I waited over 20 minutes for a free air check.How is it so impossible for any of the 6 techs and salesman in the building to pause what theyre doing for 45 seconds to check four tires air?Why offer the service if you dont intend on providing it in a remotely professional or timely manner?

I bought tires here for a customers 66 biscayne white painted steel wheels. Not only did they damage the wheels during install, they installed a weight on the outside of the wheel. That also cause damage to the painted wheel. Thanks for nothing.

I had an eight oclock appointment. I gota tire installation of my front tires. I was driving off the lot thirty minutes later. Love it.

This used to be my go to location but unfortunately the service has gotten really bad. I have been to this location 3 times in just in December and have had a terrible experience every time. All three times I had an appointment and scheduled and showed up on time and STILL had to wait over an hour just to get the car in every time. All three visits were regarding the same issue and all three times they told me that it was resolved when it not. I finally decided to go to a different Discount Tire location and it was a night and day difference. They were timely and got me in an out within an hour and were finally able to resolve the issue in one visit that this location couldnt resolve in three visits. I highly recommend going to a different location.

Decided to order tires from them when I first moved to Michigan. Everything seemed fine, they did a great job distancing for covid. Sadly that’s where the compliments end. Once my car was done they mentioned that I had a tpm on my front tire that wasn’t working and that I can get all 4 replaced for $200. I was like sure. After that they realized they didn’t have any stock but would give me a call when they did. Okay sure, I lived with the tpm warning for awhile until I couldn’t take it anymore. I never got a call back from them either. So I took it to another shop, and I come to find out the tire with the bad tpm, didn’t have the tpm installed. $100 later I had the missing tpm installed and haven’t had any issues with the others. Not sure on the scheme they’re playing at this discount tires location, but I definitely cannot recommend them.

I and the company work for bring all of our vehicles here for full tire replacements, rotations, and or for flats or issues. Corey and the team seem to always make sure that everything is correct and to our liking if something comes up the insure that the situation is taken care of hour or less. This past visit Corey was to the point and professional and took care of an issue i had brought to his attention and made sure it was taken care of.

Had an appointment at 1pm. Got there at 12:52 and was checked in immediately. Got a full set of new tires and two rebates and was out of there by 1:45. I also appreciate all the precautions they are taking re: COVID-19. Thanks, Discount Tire!

The managers know me pretty well here and they are extremely professional. However the workers here Suck. I drive a focus st and they have damaged my rims 3 times here. Unacceptable, my previous car they forgot to put the hub caps back on. My beautiful focus rim is now damage. Never shopping here again and Ive spent a lot of money here.

I’ve been going to this Discount Tire for the last 12 years or so. They’re customer service is great and they’re prices seem reasonable. Whenever I have a minor issue like a slow leak, they fix it for free. On my latest visit I was impressed with the COVID-19 safety procedures they had in place. Everyone was wearing a mask. The employees I interacted with were courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend this place.

As an early Christmas present for my Millennial son I ordered and paid for a set of 4 Hankook Kinnergy ST H735 tires for his 2006 Equinox. I scheduled our appointment for 2 weeks later. I was notified the tires were ordered. I choose these tires based on price along with the 70,000 mile warranty. Our appointment was at 9:00 on a Saturday. I signed the work order and was told it would take 1 1/2 hrs to complete. My Son waited while I left him alone thinking everything was all set. I didn’t find out until 3 weeks later that they talked him into what they called an “Up Grade” to their private label tire called Arizonan SilverEdition III tires for the same price. These have a 55,000 mile rating. I’m not happy that this took place. To me this sounds like a “Bate & Switch” thus taking advantage of a kid.. I realize they are all about making a profit and private label tires are more profitable for their bottom line. I will struggle to go back to Discount Tire for any future purchases. Buyer Beware.....

I have never been to this location before and I must say if I can help it, I will never come back! I came in for a free Air Check, I didn’t know where to get in line for it and I was trying to get the attention of the staff and they don’t even have the decency to walk up to my car and direct me to where the line is, instead the guy yells at me to tell me to get behind a car who was in line, who btw wasn’t there when I got there, but because they can’t be bothered to walk up to me, now I have to wait for the guy to be done. 25mins later and they still haven’t called on the car in front of me!! Mind you, there was nobody else in the Air Check area. I get that they’re busy or probably short staffed but not everyone has the luxury to wait for an hour to get their tires checked. They could’ve acknowledged us and gave us an estimate of how long the wait time might be. I was on my lunch break, and didn’t think the air check would take an hour especially coz there wasn’t a line!!Given that the attendant who ended up helping me was polite but this was by far the worst experience I have had.

Service was so awesome that I had to write a review to let others know my experience.I arrived shortly after opening hours and didnt wait too long in line for the next available service person. When I did, I met with a gentleman name Matt who provided me with exceptional service. He gave me options, explained my choices and made me feel very confident and comfortable with MY decision.There were customers in front of me so I wasnt expecting to leave anytime soon but I was very surprised after about 45 minutes, my name was being called. I thought they were getting ready to tell me there was a problem but instead they were telling me my car was completed. WOW!The other gentleman who completed the work also named Matt. I am very impressed and very much pleased with tires. My go to store for all my tire needs.Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

This location us top notch for customer service! Earlier today I had a flat tire due to a nail puncture. The air escaped my tire so quickly that I had to install my spare immediately. I then drove straight to Discount Tire in Troy where Andrew was very courteous, wrote me up and had the tire patched & rebalanced in less than an hour. I highly recommend this Discount Tire location!

One of the best experiences buying tires. Guys there are so helpful and very honest. They have recommended cheaper tires than the once i wanted to buy and explained why its better deal for me also showed me different in quality. I will keep going back there for sure.

One of the best tire services Ive ever experienced. Staff are helpful and professional. Price is competitive, and I wanted the specific tires which other service will take 2 weeks for shipping, yet here, I was able to get tires in a day. One thing is that this place is busy than you can imagine. There are 6 to 8 garages, but including myself, there are 16 customers already. This location will have text message service so either drop off the car and go somewhere or, bring movie/TV series / book for wait time. Highly recommended

Greg and Matt at the front desk were 2 of the most unprofessional guys Ive ever met. They tried scamming me out of $500+ dollars for a tire. Said it couldnt be fixed, without even looking at it. Whatever one said the other just rolled with even if initially one of them said otherwise. You can tell they were trying very hard to make their end of month quotas taking advantage of a woman and her kids.

We only go here for our vehicles and encourage others as well.

They said they performed the service but they did not. Tire lugs were over torqued by 100sof ft lbs last service. I broke tools trying to change a tire. I took my vehicle in to have the bolts properly set and to get tires rotated. Later, They said they did it but they did not. They said they will correct the issue but honestly, that was all I came here for. I complained to them this is not right. They rolled their eyes and walked away. No appology. I have questioned their work, to myself, in the past but now I seeI cannot trust them. I will not be coming back.

Got a set of Cooper winter tires for my s10. Saved over $150 compared to belle tire. My truck went from the worst vehicle I have ever driven in the snow to one of the best.

After hitting a pothole I had to get a new tire and I suspected maybe a new rim. I left $600.00 lighter with four new tires and four new rims! (They found me a $100.00 debate to take some of the sting away, lol.) In all seriousness, the pothole did a number on my car and they guys working gave me a great deal, too. I got there just before closing time, and they still took the time to be patient, curtious, and helpful. Great service!

I’ve been coming to this discount tire since living in the Detroit area. I came here for the first time 2-3 years ago and they took care of at least 2 tire leaks for free and did it quickly. When I told them I hadn’t paid yet, they simply told me “come back when I needed a new set of tires.” Well I went back a year or so later and the service at this place is nothing short of awesome. I made an appointment, got in and out with an awesome new set of Bridgestone tires in under an hour and a half. As someone who manages a business, I can easily say this place values the consumer and will absolutely take care of anyone who walks through their door to the fullest extent. I will be back!

They can be good depending on who you get. Great that they do free tire rotation but missed both tires I asked to have looked at that had holes and needed plugged. I had to take it somewhere else to be checked same day.

Prompt service and work was completed in a timely manner. HOWEVERWas in for routine tire replacement, a tech came out and informed me I had a bad tpms and that it needed to be replaced. The sensor was almost the same price as the tire, I told them I didnt want it. Their response was it was a safety issue and that it had to be replaced or my vehicle could not leave...which is 100% false because I have had them remove them before on multiple vehicles and put a standard non tpms valve on. Again I told them no, and at this point they said they would pay half, again I said no and now the sensor was being covered for free. Seems kind of shady that they would bend so easily. Got my vehicle back and the old sensor was in a bag on the seat...snapped in half. I think when they removed the tire they broke it and wanted to push the cost of a new one on me. I have been a customer for many years and this left a sour taste in my mouth. Just be honest...Have to spend 2k next month for new truck tires, thinking about going somewhere else.

Worst Customer service in Detroit, I took my car in they replaced 2 rear tires and they broke one of my coil springs. Been waiting for more then 2 weeks for a call from claims never called me back, Gregery moon the store manager promises to call me back everyday and he never does. Avoid the expenses and the headache. Would not recommend. 0 stars for customer service.

I really didnt like how when we tried to get a hole fixed in one of our tires, they said that they didnt have our tire in stock. Then, when I said well buy new ones, they suddenly had 12 in stock. I also didnt like how they mislead me about the type of tires that were going on my car. I thought I was getting one type of Michelin tire, only to find out that I got another after I inserted my credit card to pay. I dont know if Ill return.

Free tire repairs for one, as long as it is not in the sidewalk. Very attractive staff. Josh, stunning. JR was alright as well. They wear these great work pants that really make their butts look fantastic. Anyways, total professionals, comfortable chairs in the waiting room. Only thing missing is some coffee ....wait, I just seen the coffee. Perfect. So if you want great service and scenic views this is your place. One more suggestion, they should do a discount tire shirtless calendar for all their fans.

Probably the nicest group of guys that operate this shop. Always friendly and wanting to help figure out your best option without trying to consistently pressure the upsell. I can tell that they want to provide fast service as the guys doing the hard work can actually be seen jogging/running to get the next car!

First time coming here and Andrew was literally the best, the quickest, and most efficient in helping me setup a new wheel and tire after damaging my old wheel from a pot hole.We spoke over the phone first, and he was very straight forward, honest, and concise with the information he was relaying to me. Im satisfied because he was able to answer every one of my questions without issue.Given the timely response, I went ahead and setup an appointment on the spot to replace another tire the next day.All in all, quite happy with my choice of service. Definitely worth 5 stars, and Ill be returning for any future needs 👌👍

My complaint isn’t with the service. They were pleasant and helpful.However, before I gave them my keys, I took my quarters out where I keep them, and left over two dollars of silver change. When I got my car back there is now only 50 cents of silver change. I know it’s not a lot of money, but it’s the principal. That’s wrong, and I don’t envision myself going back there.

Amazing staff. We were in a huge bind, 300 miles from home and in a need for 4 tires after a blowout. The size was not common and we needed it done in a day. They came through for us. We had 4 new tires installed 17 hours from the time I called. They even waved the delivery fees. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Fantastic experience. Paul assisted me via phone and said they could take me in even when they were minutes from closing. JR worked on my flat tire and discovered the side wall was blew out. He was fast, communicated well, and was efficient. Thanks guys!
