We installed protection1 system almost two years ago. We have not been able to use the system 90 percent of the time because it malfunctions on daily basis. Their technicians have been here 5 times in last one year but have been able to fix my problem. I have changed batteries (lithium batteries) multiple times. Twice within last week. Yesterday they reset the system..this morning it started beeping again saying loss of sensor supervision. My dog gets panic attacks when it suddenly malfunctions. Last time while I was in Toronto, my relative had to move the dogs to a kennel. This happened in spite of the fact that system is never turned on. We are afraid to set it when we go because it will kill my dog.I have two businesses and both have security system (owned by the same company that now owns protection1) ...those places I never had an issue..not once.I have exhausted all my options by talking to technical support, supervisors, managers..they always want to send a tech and techs are unable to fix the problem. Flaw lies with the electronics of these sensors and system.Staff was always ready to help when I called but they could not. So I do not have problem with front desk.For potential new customers please avoid their protection1 system. You will not be able to sleep with their system

We sold our house in in Sept, but the service we had from Protection 1 for 10 plus years was excellent.
