Somerset Zara is one of my favorite locations. The store is immaculately clean and organized. The customer service from the employees is very friendly and efficient. McKenzie help me find us a pair of pants I thought I would never find. Also there’s a store manager that has been very helpful in all my online or store needs... I think that store managers name is Morgan. Thanks to this Zara for making my shopping experience phenomenal.

They have had only 1 register open for the last 6 months. This is the most visited store in the mall, stop being cheap and hire more people to run the registers. You could be making so much more money if people didnt have to wait 1 hour to buy something.Honestly I hope someone rich sees this review so they can open up another Zara in the area and put this one out of business cause clearly they dont care about their customers.

The store did not seem to have a good selection of merchandise. The items that they did have in store looked picked over and the store in general was very messy with clothing strewn about and items in the wrong places. The only area that semed to be kept up well was the baby/childrens sections. Also, the line to check out was horrendously long (all cash registers on the 2nd level are closed). This location appears to be in desperate need of more staffing and new inventory.

Giving one star because there is no option to give zero stars. So validating to read the reviews here. Whenever I go to this store I am frustrated beyond words. Don’t understand how the staff hasn’t all been replaced. You can plan to wait at least a half hour in line and to be treated rudely.

Customer service couldn’t be worse. I was looking for an item in men section but there wasn’t any employee there and when I looked for help in the next section (kids), the girl refused to help me because it wasn’t her section. So at the end I never found the item I was looking for and I lost my time.

Employees are rude and have a very bad attitude towards costumers. Love the store but it’s just horrible service which makes me not want to come back. I really recommend changing the staff because it’s honestly disgusting, they’re just so rude.

Not buyinganything here anymore. Besides the price vs value discussion I really need to post our how dirty this particular store is. I have come to super set a lot of times and the store is not a cheap neighborhood.There is no possible reason to defend this missing cleanness. I have noticed it before and just never got to actually take pictures. The store looks like this on a regular basis. Dust on shelves, racks and floor. Clothes with big dust collectionsdraggediverthe floor. How can you expect people to pay full price for that? This is not a Black Friday phenomenon. Please see for yourself.

Wait a whole 30 minutes just to go into a store that is very unorganized. I asked the manager why the store was like this because I was curious but she got mad and called security and police just from my one question. And the manager kicked us out. The workers stand around doing nothing and tall to each other. It looks like a warehouse inside and I cant find anything. There are piles of clothes laying around. The environment is toxic and us customers need better service. I wish I could put 0 stars. I am very disappointed.

Its set to close soon in this location so everything is very frantic. They have quality clothes and the prices are lower because they are closing

The wait times to make a simple return have been ridiculous recently (especially after restrictions have been lifted). Taking over an hour even during non peak hours on weekdays. Needs to change

They dont have enough help on the registers never mine on the floor. Not enough bodies to go around. The line was to the door. They should give out refreshments. Pack a lunch. I was not happy at all

Store had a mass of people shoppi g for store wide sale. The lines were half way through the store. No shoes that I was looking for for business Corp work.

5 or 6 registers 2 had cashiers. no way to try on clothing. line 40 minutes. bring a friend to stand in line if you value your time lol. Not a lot of stock or sizes. Oh, for some reason, the cashier took the tag off of the pants I purchased??So returning the too small size will be a hassle.

My favorite brand but the worst location. The Troy location is basically an outlet, looks like a garage sale in there, stuff tossed everywhere, the worst selection of items out of any Zara store. Rude and unhelpful staff. Only 2 people working the register during the week. 25+ min wait times to check out. Why cant Michigan have nice things...

Love the clothes just line was a mile long and clothes all messy and everywhere. It was ok as with shortage of staff its tough to keep it neat.

I am completely disappointed of the exchange and return policy of this store, please beware when buying online. In the store, they wont exchange products you bought online, they would only refund. If you purchased something during a sale and it is defective or wrong sized you are screwed. You will get refund but would have to re-order at regular price. Beautiful design bad quality

Great deals but what a mess, this store gets super busy, I wish people would pick up a clothing item that drops on a ground... but the registry is also bit slow, wish they would accept people on a side who have few items and are paying with a card to make things much faster.

Terrible store. Have to go downstairs to enter the store, only to have to go upstairs for the kids section, then back down to check out. Really poor checkout process, especially when shopping with children... attempted to go twice to make a return and refuse to ever shop there again. Inconvenient making customers wait in a line up to the door when there are other registers/employees available on the upstairs level who dont seem too busy.

Service and organization are terrible. 40+ people in line for checkout and only ONE register open. And the 5 other employees got an attitude when another customer asked for help at checkout. Cute items but not worth the hassle of dealing with the bad service. Save your time and energy and shop elsewhere.

I love Zara but this store needs to hire more people.. Every time I visited the store, Ive waited in line for about an hour to checkout.

I wish negative stars were available because apparently customer service is null and void in this store. How do you apply to service customers and ignore the same people that are trying to patronize your business. This location have the worst customer service. You can’t get useful help and the staff is not friendly. Actually all the Zara’s I have been to is this way. In Illinois California Florida Michigan all the worst service. You should be replaced with robots

This store is a complete mess. It literally feels like your walking into a warehouse, nothing is organized and where it belongs. Everything is scattered all over the floors and just thrown on racks. I’ve never seen such a messy and dirty store.

Using covid as an excuse for poor and lazy service. 45 minute line to get in, 30 minute line to check out. Rude workers who wear masks below their mouth. Very messy and unorganized. Fitting rooms still closed, they suggest you buy and then go next door to Macy’s to try stuff on and if they don’t fit wait in line to return. This store is a shining example of why the company recently declared bankruptcy.

Absolutely wonderful! Love this place. Their clothes are consistently on trend and their sizing is great. Dont even have to try things on coz I know they will fit. Very fun shop!!

This was probably the messiest store I have ever been to in my life. If the store was neat and the items were where they belong then they would get a lot more sales because customers would be able to find the size/color they are looking for. At least four of the employees were sitting on or around the table by the entrance chatting while the store was in total disarray. I guess they are getting paid to socialize. They also werent friendly when I asked a question. This store needs new management.

Just expect to wait in line for a while outside the store & inside. Its good they are taking precautions but wish they would of had more than 1 person working at the register.

Honestly, I would give no stars if I could. The customer service here is awful, the girls will stand around look at you and laugh. I love Zara so it’s such shame that they don’t care about customers. I’m sure they won’t care about the negative review either. I will not spend any money here ever again.

I love Zara. This location has plenty of items which is great. I cant speak to the customer service as I didnt need help and I went here two days before Christmas, but overall you will find something you love!

The store closes at 7:00 so I tried to walk into the store at 6:45, but the door was locked. The employee standing on the inside of the door just turned away when I waved at her so I had to wait for someone to leave to lean through the door to ask if I could come in. When I was standing halfway in the door the girl started pushing it shut on me and said they werent letting people in. When I asked when the cut off was she said 6:50 which was still a few minutes away. I was polite and I wasnt trying to enter the store so it was rude and aggressive for her to push the door shut against me.

Need more employees. makes no sense to have only 2 registers open in this very busy store.

Always a long line for returns but they are quick to get online purchases and cashiers usually have nice attitudes

I waited in line for 40 minutes to be checked out, one person on register, some customer told the manger and said that they can’t do anything? While there was 5 employees by the fitting rooms literally standing doing nothing and giggling together . Worst Zara I have ever seen in my life . Also super messy store

I didnt know that you could get kicked out of the store because you asked for the managers name... it was kinda funny that you get kicked out for that. We were just asking about why the store was so messy and everything was on the floor. So when we asked for the managers name they called the police on us and security kicked us out.

The store was very messy. There was only one person checking out customers. The line to checkout was 35 people long. We quit waiting and left our clothes candy walked out!

This store was a disaster. 2 cashiers and a line that stretched to the door. No assistance on the sales floor and the fitting rooms were closed. I will br shopping online until they get themselves together.

One cashier on duty while the line stretches across the store. Another employee was asked if she could help out and rudely replied that she isnt a cashier. Going here nowadays is always a frustrating experience.

This store does not even deserve one star but I’m forced to put something...I am in disbelief that a corporation of this size would train their employees so poorly on customer service. I called the store this morning to confirm that they would be open until 7pm since I have to drive 1 hour to make. Return. I was told on the phone that they were open until 7pm, which is also listed on the mall website. I got to the mall after work and waited in line for over 45 minutes only for the RUDEST store associate to come out and say that they are closing early and that no one in line would be let in. Of course, everyone was disappointed as this was communicated terribly and the store associate showed no empathy for completely wasting people’s time. Thank you Zara Somerset for wasting 3 hours of my day!After she and another guy rudely closed the door on our faces, I approached her and mentioned how I called and I only needed to return something (since the fitting rooms are closed). She said “no we’re closed” and I mentioned how I was told that they’re open until 7pm. She said “everyone has to be out by 7pm even all employees.” So, you’re telling me you have no closing procedures? Cleaning procedures? UNREAL TREATMENT. I took a photo to document them closing the doors early.... NEVER will I shop there again. This location needs a serious visit from HQ on customer service training.I called corporate after leaving to file my complaint and have received a case number to further speak on this issue.

Does not even deserve one star. This is the worst Zara location I’ve ever been to. I stood in line 1 hour to get in. And another 30 mins in line to get to the cash register. They have 2 people working on the registers on a Sunday. They should have an employee just for returns during this time. That’s other than the fact that the store is so messy and unorganized.

Zara is my special go-to store. It will always have a style I favor. The only problem I have with it is finding the item I want in my size. It kills me on the inside

I was shopping there yesterday and found some heels I liked, I asked one of the girls that was working on the floor for a different size, she said we don’t have it, without even checking. I went to the register and asked if they had it in stock, she said yes. The cashier (Sandra) was nice enough to grab them for me with such good customer service!

Nice clothes, some items are a little pricey for the fabric quality. Ive found some great things here but it is a hit or miss shopping here.

Would not give 51¢ back because I didnt have exact change in coins and after I bought a $9.99 fragrance. And I didnt see any notice in the store regarding this matter

Employees are incredibly rude. Items had the wrong price and they ripped off the price tag and said oh this was supposed to be removed. No apology or offer to make it right even though it was their mistake. Employee at the kids register barked this is closed go downstairs or to mens.

Very nice store. I really liked the selection they had for mens. Its a bit pricey but what can you expect from a high end store like this one. Would definitely go back to purchase some more clothing items or maybe even a backpack. Would recommend if your looking for a nice flashy or fancy outfit. Altogether, its a very nice store and would 100% go again.

The store is very unorganized they just have random clothes everywhere on racks that need to be put away and they have filled the dressing rooms with clothes that spill out everywhere I went in to find a shirt because online it said they had one left but the manger huffed when I asked for help and then he did not even come back to me to tell me he could not find it ...... so I was just walking around waiting for nothing I had to go find him for him to tell me ....

Worst Zara I have ever entered. Zara is normally one of my favorite shops when I travel so I was excited to finally have one in MI. I wish I took a photo of the condition of the store. The clothes were everywhere. No two shirts were together on a rack. It literally looked like a blowout store. I asked an employee if it was an outlet and he said it wasn’t. If I hadn’t been to other Zara’s and knew this wasn’t the norm I’d probably never return.

Trendy, high end clothing store with 2 floors. Clothes for men, women and kids. The whole 1st floor is womens and men and kids are on the 2nd floor. They get new things in every month. The store is not cluttered or small. Affordable yet durable garments. Nothing cheap. Coats and jackets are the more expensive pieces. Highly recommend this place.

Pros: affordable fast fashion Cons: Store associates seem like they hate their job..all except for one I encountered there since theyve opened. The associates are unfriendly and seem annoyed to be there or to answer questions. I never see anyone smile! As far as merchandising, I always feel like its disorganized. Id much rather buy online.

I’ll never shop at a store that refuses to exchange their clothes without a receipt. My daughter received a birthday gift and she found the shirt uncomfortable, they would only allow her to get the same shirt in a different size or color. If you don’t value your customer base enough to ensure they are happy with your product then you don’t deserve my business.

I’ve been here at least 3 times and every time there is only one cashier helping a line of at least 10 customers. I end up waiting in line for half an hour. I had to pick up an online order from this store and they told me you need to pick it up from the second level after waiting in line for thirty minutes. I go to the second level and they tell me to go downstairs to grab it from there. I did not go downstairs. Let’s leave it at that.

This store is fantastic for fashion at decent prices. It could be organized better. There was quite a bit of clothing in the wrong spot and many items on racks by the fitting room that needed to be put away. The biggest gripe I have with Zara is that every time I made a purchase, their is only one person working the register and the wait is way too long. Its annoying and thats poor management. Other than that, I have enjoyed all the wonderful fashion they have there.

I have only visited the store once in the Somerset mall in troy, no doubt the store is huge and has a great collection of clothes for everyone. The price tag on clothes was in a good range too. But the store was little cluttered. Harder to look through clothes when that happens. I will definitely visit the store in future to look for more apparel.

These people at Zara should know their employees and how they price their clothes. Workers at registers don’t just pull out whole tags then say “oh it’s been priced wrong” and then put on the item another price much higher, when all along this item was priced that price because it actually had a rip on it we failed to see. The employees should of known that and not only told us but also not changed the price at the register. Not right. Please train your Employees the right way. They were also rude, try smiling people, it might be nice for yous sometime. 😁

This location was in rough shape. I was shocked that even with all of the Covid precautions taken, the store was in complete and utter disarray. It was sadly the dirtiest Zara location Ive seen. Clothes lying on the floor everywhere and shoes strung across the store. Very unsanitary and unprofessional.

Apparently having 2 clerks who move incredibly slow while there are 12 people in line is appropriate on a Saturday at 645. If son didnt want a sequin flip shirt (not many places have something like that) would have left.

Really bad customer service and management, the cashier dropped a perfume and didn’t put everything I bought, we had to drive back to the store, the “manager” was told that we left the bag but not true, we didn’t even get an apology. On our way to the store my daughter called to the store, no apology just the guy on the phone said “hurry up we are closing soon “. Really bad shopping experience.

Great store with great prices

Have been gradually shopping. Found some great pieces here. During the sale, its a mess, but very food deals if youre up to looking in the last few months Ive probably bought atleast 5 pairs of cute cute boots at a fraction of the cost! They have very unique pieces. Ive visited a few locations in different states. The online can be a lil tricky when looking for something you saw in store, so make sure you get your item numbers so that you can find it if needed online. The Somerset. MI location is not dedicated to customer service, the purchasing counter specializes in chatting/and having their own fun back and forth with other each time that Ive been in there, not very attentive to the customers, when I go I know what Im goin for cause you wont get anything extra if you dont....

I love their clothes but if you wear a size 14 or above, dont go in this store. They only make clothes for women size 12 and below. Looking at their clothes will only make you angry

Store was very messy and it was before 11 am when I went. No salesperson offered assistance or even spoke the entire time I was there. Check out was efficient so that was fine. A lot of clothing had makeup stains on it, not that its the stores fault, but the merchandise is no longer appropriate to sell at reg price at that point. I was so impressed when the store first opened because I found so much cute stuff there and the prices were great. Now some months later, not feeling like I need to return. Customer service is very important to me and it was non-existent on the sales floor.

Zara is def a fav but the don’t treat customers right. I was in dire need of a shoe that had thread coming out and they wouldn’t even discount it because it was damaged, a small discount would be cool. As much money as you spend with this company they should look out a little. They want to pocket every penny vs keep some form of loyalty.

I was really happy to finally get a Zara in the area but the lines they have available in this store are hideous. Seems they are only carrying the lowest quality of the Zara brand. Ive gotten a lot of my Zara clothes from NY, Chicago and European stores. I will not be going back to this location unless they start bringing in their better lines.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. Bought a pair of boots and the heel started falling off after one use. Was unable to get ahold of anyone for over a week and by time I did they said it was not a result of a defective item (so really was all my fault I wore them like I’m supposed to and they broke). Would not let me return and wouldn’t even give me store credit. I would think twice before buying anything and I definitely would not ever buy another pair of shoes. So disappointed. Zara has lost a frequent customer and a fan.

Never imagined seeing a Zara store with such poor quality! I mean this is a brand new store.. & upon entrance it just looks a complete mess (under statement)! I am very disappointed in management.. that they would allow the store to be conducted in such a manner. It’s almost not fair. To finally be given a store, and then end up with this (what you see in pictures)! I found a top that I loved.. surprisingly.. but had to order it inside the store because 1. The only two that I saw (size S and M) were damaged and 2. The employee said they had 3 smalls in stock but could not find me the shirt! I literally looked high and low before deciding to pay the additional $5 for shipping.. but it’s my birthday so I said why not! But trust me...... never again! Not from somerset! I will continue to shop when I visit ATL (maybe)!!

Never going back to this location. One of the employees started making fun of me while I requested to exchange an items to a bigger size and when they brought the bigger size, it was a worn returned damaged item that had no tag. When I requested a tag for it they said I don’t need it. And ALLEN started laughing about me requesting an actually tag as a new it. SO DISRESPECTFUL and the manager Morgan was even worse

Who doesnt like to shope at Zara! Sometime, they have good sales on this store which is unbelievable. Products are masterpiece.
