Best baked goods

So I went to paradise food market on 16 and Dequindre and my experience was bad. I bought pizza rings chips and when I bought it I ate some of it and gave some to my cousin. I had tasted a funny taste. So I checked the backside of the chips and it was expired on September, 22, 2020. Now me and my cousin are sick we can’t go to work. We both threw up and we were Just in the hospital. I don’t know what to say because if chips are Expired we don’t know if other things are too. I don’t know what to say I never had an experience like this. Wow never coming here again. If I can give this a 0 star I will. Thank you bye

Incredible store with a wide selection of goods you can’t find anywhere else. But was disappointed to find that almost all of the employees were not wearing masks.

Everyone is super friendly and the food made inside the store is always fresh and delicious! Do yourself a favor and swing in for some falafel and hummus!

CORONA VIRUS RISK- dont shop here!!!! None of the staff are wearing masks, they dont require shoppers to wear masks. I tried shopping here, but left after an unmasked employee brushed up to me while I was bagging fruit. I hope they start following State of MI guidelines. Paradise Fruit Market is a nice grocery with lots of interesting products that Id love to try. I noticed the bulk food prices were good and there fresh baked Iraqi bread. If you havent been here its definitely worth a stop inside. Youll probably find something new you want to try and maybe even find a new favorite stop. I saw pickled garlic, which Ive looked for everywhere and never found. There were also fresh dates ... I didnt really think about that even bring a thing. Lol

Best to shop there first, before any large expensive supermarket around.

Good store with good food. But unfortunately the women at the cashier are so rude. They are laughing out loud. They are making fun of people speaking arabic language. I witnessed several times. Once I was there, they were making fun of an indian man, another time of a Turkish woman, and an American woman.

Very friendly people I was just browsing and didnt buy anything but they treated me nice. They had some neat things which I would have been interested in trying but Im just in town on a quick visit and dont want to gain any more weight than I already have.

I bought some chestnut and it was all rotten inside, I call to see if they can take it back and give me credit of the amount but talking with the menager she refuse to take it back and give any credit forward. Not good customer service at all. Very disappointment.

The owner is super angry and doesnt appreciate his customers. They over charged us by accident and when I went back about 3 weeks later after I remembered I was telling him about it he told me that he doesnt believe me although I know them for few years and we always talk about food and thought he was my friend and I was really shocked. I was OK whatever, went back again after few weeks and was lucky or unlucky, lol, enough to have him cash me out as they were busy and I just told him he did me wrong last time as I felt he was my friend and man man man, I wish I never went back. He started screaming telling me to leave the store out loud infront of all customers inside the store and didnt respect himself and his customers. I was like man this guy got some serious issues. My boddy calmed me down and told me not to go down to his level. His wife is super nice but he is very bad really.

Miserable shopping experience and disrespectful customer service, my bill was $4.49; the casher said the minimum amount to use credit it $10.00!!!! and it is not posted anywhere in the market!!! The alternative solutions she provided were either pay in cash or charge me 50 cents extra!!
