I had nothing but a great experience from family firearms. From the purchase to the shipment to the delivery to my ffl. They had a lot to communicate in the order process but are very thorough. Then the shipment process was very well communicated and the shipment was very speedy within two days. They had the gun I wanted and for a really great price. I would definitely go with them again!

There was a slight misunderstanding about the gun when I went to pick it up from my FFL. I contacted this company through email after hours and received a very timely response. In short, they were willing to work with me to solve the situation satisfactorily. Wow cant say enough about Family firearms they had the hard to find firearm I was looking for in stock and also at the best price. I ordered on the site after business hours and got a personalized email early the next day that my item was all packed up and on its way thanks ladies! Not impressed by this place at all. Tried to do business with them was going to do an initial cheap purchase for an ar end plate. The only problem is its 25 dollars everywhere else and 29 here. They also charge you shipping which is fine, but its 15 dollars! This was the only place I could find that said in stock so I assumed I could call them and they would say theyre out of stock anyway or if they do have it the price is just an error. I tried calling but they lead you through a long phone system only to tell you they arent answering the phone at this time. I then tried to email them asking them to check if its in stock and to call me but the reply I got is if its online then its there. I then replied right away asking why the 15 dollars when its a tiny piece of metal. I got no response. Im going to chalk this up to lesson learned when you see its overpriced dont even waste your time. I did find it at another place which is great. Too bad they didnt want to help I spend a lot on guns.EDIT to respond to his reply:This is a fact. I called multiple times and it does NOT ring until you answer. It ultimately stops and gives some soft of message not allowing me or another potential money spender to continue to hold until you supposedly pick up. Another fact. You are overpriced! I was able to find it elsewhere so I was wrong on nobody else being in stock. Another fact is you emailed me back like you didnt care when I specifically asked you to call me. I then emailed you back asking about the product right away and you didnt reply back. I can also see other reviews on here that align with my opinion of your place so its not just me. And trust me Im not embarrassing myself. I only write reviews based on factual experiences. If anything this should embarrass you that you do this to customers.

If i could give this place 7 stars i would!! Absolutely best online price you can find no other retailer sells for less! I was also amazed how fast it shipped and how quickly my P226 SAO Legion arrived at my FFL dealer!! Upon inspection the firearm was mint you could tell nobody touched or opened it. I couldnt be more pleased! Ive been searching for a great deal on the Springfield Hellcat for three months. I found it at Family Firearms. I was so pleased when they notified me it had shipped. Another company took my order and then notified me it might be 5 months before they shipped. Great price, fast service and superior communications. Thanks Family Firearms!!!

So the price was good one of the best I found online. I purchased an AR and the next day the price on Family Firearms website dropped $10. So, I emailed and asked if Sonnie would credit my purchase since it was less than 24 hours from my purchase and he said it was supposed to be $10 more and not $10 less and would be glad to charge my cc an additional $10 if I’d like. Like really?! If it wasn’t for me you wouldn’t have known and I wasn’t trying to scam like he was I paid $600. Another reason is being charged $25 shipping and when asked for cheaper shipping he said he can’t ship for less b/c he’s already losing money shipping and prices low blah blah “poor me attitude.” A lot of retailers ship $500-700 guns for free or less than $25 so that is a lie too. Won’t shop there again cause of his attitude and this was after I told him thanks for being a legit business man when a lot of gun shops try to screw over everyday Americans, well guess I was wrong, he’s just like the rest. Buy from Northwest Armory cheapest right now for an AR. Glad my company had a lifetime warranty if anything happens to the gun. The gun had a few scratches on it “brand new” but whatever. Three stars for the gun but 0 stars for Sonnie and his self absorbed attitude.

I purchased a Kimber 1911 online from Family Firearms because of the price, lower than any shops local and they had it in stock. What I wasnt expecting was the incredible service I also received. In a time when a lot of shops are saying everything is delayed, Family Firearms had my pistol in the mail 2 hours after I paid for it and I received it 2 days later. Online it states some orders come from distributors, called about a status, couldn’t give me one, but made an excuse that the phones were not working... go figure. Beware before you order, check for place likes buds or somewhere like that before you order. Sonny is very off putting, I’ll be contacting my CC company regarding no updates as far as tracking, status, etc. BEWARE

They have a 25% restocking fee for online purchases, even when I tried to return an unopened item. Its crazy that these stores still pull this stuff to keep a sale instead of thinking long term. Totally regret purchasing from here and advise you to shop somewhere else since they are pretty unaccommodating.Edit after reply: The owner quoted me a 25% restocking fee over email, he either does not know his own store policies or he was purposefully dissuading me from returning the item. Its pretty clear theyre unprofessional from their reply, hope this helps someone considering this store.

Stop shopping around, youve found the best of the best. Prices here are better than anywhere around, variety is great and customer service is unmatched. I made my first online firearm purchase through them for an ATI 1911 and it was hands down the smoothest, easiest, and most enjoyable way to purchase a firearm. Originally my FFL wasnt on their list, but that was no problem at all! I just called the Family Firearms store directly and once they had a copy of my FFLs license, they added them to their list and transferred it to my FFL super fast and I had my firearm in probably less than 10 or so minutes after background check. Thank you so much for your help, my gun is absolutely beautiful, I will definitely be back for any future needs and recommend any one else looking for a great firearms purchasing experience.

Not gonna lie I was mildly skeptical of a store 1200 miles away in Alabama offering a Kimber Custom II for 170 dollars off its going price and free shipping. But I figured worst case scenario if it was a scam Id just request a charge back from my credit card company. At any rate I placed the order on March 12 around 4PM CST and around 4:30 got an email stating my firearm was being shipped. The FFL holder here in Wichita received it on Thursday the 14th and completed the transfer and paperwork and I walked out of the store a proud owner of a Kimber Custom II. The gun was perfect, exactly what I wanted and ordered.To make this clear...I got a brand new gun that retails for 799.99 for 628.99. it was shipped same day as purchased and shipped two day delivery at no additional cost. Where can you find a deal better than that? Ill tell you where. No where.If you live anywhere in the continental US and are looking at buying a gun from Family Firearms, whether locally or online, do it. You wont regret it, youll be completely satisfied, and youll probably even save yourself some money on the purchase because Family Firearms has some damn good prices!
