We bought our new forever home from Smith Homes and we highly recommend them. We had shopped around and prices were either way higher or the people just wouldn’t talk to us.We brought them exactly what we wanted and all of my questions were answered promptly and correctly. They never made me feel like I was asking to many questions...and I asked a lot. They even reached out to the manufacturer well after we had signed the contract to help get something we were told wasn’t an option and they fought to get it for us.The setup was awesome and everyone on the crew was very professional. The owner was even there to help get it set up.They made the process smooth and easy from day 1.

Ashley and Glen are great to work with. They ordered the exact home my wife and I wanted and delivered it to our location. We really appreciate the process they helped guide us through in owning our first home!

We have purchased our Home from Smith’s back in May 2021. Minor cracks, and leaks from the transport were corrected in a fair timely fashion – this is Alabama and it won’t happen in a New York minute. We expected worse as they had to pull this large home through a rough forest road - but they were very gentle. The customer service is outstanding and any complaints were addressed right away, and all questions were answered – we had a lot. I wished the stairs provided were of better quality and larger to fit the look of our home. The financial process is a little antiquated and could be updated to offer more options for cash buyers. In all, we are very happy with our new home and would highly recommend Smith Mobile Homes.

Absolutely love working with Smith Mobile Homes and their crew! They have been absolutely amazing throughout the entire process from finding the perfect home, paperwork, and making sure things were done right for us!

Roof leaks, floors squeaking, siding falling off, appliances did not work, ac problems, windows leaking, doors leak, shower leaks leaking in walls, skirting falling off, carpets where destroyed in move, doors have gaps, shingles missing and laid wrong. The factory will not honor the warranty nor will Bobby/Glen at sales lot. We recommend you take your business to somewhere else so you don’t get a home that is literally falling apart. Look at the photos and you will see the mess that this house is in. Take a look at just some of the photos that are posted. This is unacceptable and we are holding the factory and Smith Mobile Homes accountable for not having these issues fixed correctly and in a timely manner. The home was purchased in January of 2020 and still as of today eight months later the issue have not been fixed or they have been made worse by the handymen they send out. This has been a never ending battle and apparently we are not any closer to a resolution. If you purchase a home from here you will also need a contractor and a lawyer. So please budget that in your home buying if you chose Smith Mobile Homes of Troy Al.

If I could give 0 stars I would. You do not get ANYTHING done in a timely manner. You also get shotty work. The shower wasnt put together flush, molding not put flush, house not put level so the wall cracked, they tore up part of a brand new septic system(which they said wasnt their problem to pay to fix), and the list goes on and on and on.When the home was paid in full almost 4 months ago, they took their time in not getting the titles applied for. When we threatened legal action, then and only then were we told they had been mailed. And when our legal representative said hopefully our business was concluded with them, they had the audacity to cop an attitude with her. My mothers estate had nothing to do with prior dealings. But they took advantage of her prior to her death, they saw an elderly woman and thought they could get by with not completing work or not doing it right. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE if want something good.

I give smith mobile homes a 5 star rating they where so quick to fix little things that needed to be addressed always kept me in the loop on everything I recommend them to everyone.
