I 100% would recommend the Troy location to move our home again and again. By far the most pleasant experience moving and interacting with another company and business owner. They stopped short of leaving mints on our pillows when they left. Our move was so effortless and easy it’s hard for me to articulate it correctly.

If you could pick any company to move your belongings, I would opt to pick any company but this one. Besides the scheduler, who was very kind and professional, I would not recommend the movers or the management team. They refuse to take responsibility for my broken bed. After reporting the damage claim, it took a week for the Operations Manager to come and assess the damage. Then, after phone calls and email asking for a resolution on the matter, I finally received a response from the GM that they refuse to take responsibility. Time was certainly not of the essence. As a professional in this area who works with movers often, I would categorize this company as unethical. It was evident from my experience with them that they lack the ability to do the right thing. Certainly not a place I would recommend.

Very unprofessional. I had a consultation scheduled for today with move scheduled for October 2. Last week I emailed to confirm all was in order. Scheduler confirmed by email yes to both in home consultation and move dates. Today no one showed for 11am consultation. When I called I was told I was never on their books because I never paid my deposit. When I asked why that wasnt addressed in the confirmation email last week I was told a mistake had been made. When I asked to speak with manager I was told the manager would call me back, but no one has.I usually let poor service go, and only comment positive reviews. However, in my opinion this level of incompetence with something as important as moving, and the amount of inconvenience it has caused me is too much to ignore.

I contacted them for a quote, returned timely. I reduced the amount of the items to be moved so it could be done within the time frame I was working with to be out of my apartment. That is where the good stopped.. The guys that showed up were very nice but they were not movers. The didnt protect the items from damage as they were moving them down the stairs. Since most of the items were shrunk wrapped, by me, I wasnt able to see the extent of damage until I unwrapped them days later. Someone called to follow up on my satisfaction and I told them about the damage, the reply Ill talk to my general manager and see if there is something he will do.. A week later, no follow up. They badly damaged a leather recliner, dinning room table (which I took apart to make it easier to move), a dresser and some other items. My suggestion, if you use them watch every item being loaded and get it handled before you sign the ppwk or make the final payment.

The movers dinged a lot of the furniture and broke a lamp. They didnt seem to care too much and even tried to have us sign off on the walk through after they loaded the truck without actually doing the walk through. There were still items that needed to be loaded! Not sure Id recommend this location. Ive had better experiences elsewhere.

The movers damaged a bedroom set, admitted they did not bubble wrap it. I was told the manager would come to the house and fix the damage. I called, emailed EVERY DAY for 1 month in order to get a response back from the manager. They build their 15 page contracts so the customer always loses out. I received $50 from them to pay for the damage. Would never use or recommend them again.

Friendly guys who did a great job moving my belongings to the new place. Pleased with service.

First of all, the morning of my originally scheduled move, I received a phone call telling me they needed to cancel due to one of their drivers being in QUARANTINE and another calling off for a death in the family. Things, I understand, that are completely out of their control. However, you can understand why I would be so shocked when the two movers then showed up at my door two days later with NO masks on. Worse, when I asked if they had masks, I was unequivocally told no and had to ask them to actually go get them, at which time they disappeared for 20 minutes. I live in a one bedroom apartment and only hired them to move the large furniture items from two rooms, my living room and my bedroom. In the process they damaged both of my marble nightstands and my mattress. They tore one of the handles completely off of my mattress, ripped another and created three very large holes that are irreparable. It was also raining the day of my move and I had paid for a mattress protector yet my mattress was still wet when they brought it in. They also put multiple marks on my walls bringing items into my new apartment and I had to ask them to place a floor runner down which, according to their contract, they are supposed to supply. I watched one of the movers drag my couch cushions on the ground through the water and felt they were more interested in just getting the job done quickly as opposed to getting the job done carefully and professionally. This was my first experience with a moving company and was unfortunately, very disappointed. The only reason I gave them two stars as opposed to one was because the woman on the phone who booked my move for me was incredibly professional (and obviously their biggest asset) and because the two movers were young gentlemen who have a lot to learn but were at least very polite.

Honestly this couldn’t have been a worse experience. Reached out multiple times before finally getting in contact with someone. The person we spoke with was incredibly rude and condescending, acted shocked we were asking for moving help.Multiple times spoke down to both myself and wife about how “they couldn’t move” certain items or as much as we had requested due to lack of room on the truck. Acted like they were gifting us a specific day after they denied multiple days we had previously requested.Finally the day before the move they reached out saying their only available driver was injured and cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled move. My wife and I had to them work to get our refund back and upon asking for available dates we were told the earliest available was 3 weeks away.This could not have been a more disappointing experience all around.

15 minutes before our pre-move appointment to walk through our home that my wife had scheduled a week ago, Justin called to cancel because someone in the office has to go to a funeral today. We were leery to reschedule at that point (seriously? A funeral is terrible, but was it something that came up so suddenly he had to cancel 15 minutes before our appointment?). He asked to reschedule for the next morning. My wife asked if that would impact our moving date, and he was confused about when she had said we wanted to move. We tentatively rescheduled the walkthrough so my wife and I could think it over, but we decided this morning that this all felt too disorganized and untrustworthy to continue with. My wife called the office to cancel the appointment, and the female who answered the phone said, oh, okay. That was it. No why are you canceling, would you like to reschedule, how else can we help you, etc. Two hours later Justin showed up at the house -- without a mask or any PPE of any kind-- and he was clueless that wed cancelled the appointment. If these guys are this unprofessional and disorganized BEFORE the move, what would it have been like on moving day? Hire with caution or just dont hire.

I have used Two Men and a Truck for a few moves and have had great experiences every time. They are very efficient and hard workers which I appreciate having the move being done so quickly.

DO NOT USE TWO MEN AND A TRUCK - ESPECIALLY THIS LOCATIONI had them booked for almost two months. They showed up to my apartment, told me there was nowhere to park, hung up on me when I tried to tell them there was in fact parking, and then cancelled my job.No one listened to me when I tried to tell them there was parking and instead I got a rude condescending tone telling me the driver knew better. Well, considering Id lived in that apartment for almost a year, Im pretty sure that I would know. There was an empty lot not 15 feet from the apartment they could have used.I never even saw the driver. He was parked at the end of my street and drove off while I was on the phone with the manager. The manager was absolutely rude to me and told me were not the moving company for you and cancelled my job.I had to be out that day. It was the one of the most stressful situations Ive ever been through. Thankfully, my friends and family rallied around me and we moved everything BY OURSELVES.There are pictures of all the parking space and the empty lot. My apartment is on the right of the house.This was just simply unacceptable and outrageous customer service.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYThey will back out on you last minute and leave you with nothing.EDIT: The manager below literally is still not listening. I said THERE WAS AN EMPTY LOT YOU COULD USE WHICH WAS VIABLE PARKING. YOU ARE LITERALLY STILL NOT LISTENING TO ME. Not only that, but you did not try to help me out. You did nothing. You rudely hung up on me and gave me no viable options as to what I could do. The driver left and didnt even try to drive around or explain.By the way, it wasnt busy. I was STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH YOU. Not only that, but you could have parked in the back as well, which you would have known if your drive drove around and talked to me face to face.If you dont accommodate apartments, you need to say that.Everyone else- Heres your perfect example of what they are going to do to you. They will not listen. Have fun.

They are sloppy. Go with Affordable Moving Company of Rochester Hills, Michigan if you are moving within the area or a different company for long distance.If you do go with this company, make sure that you get everything fixed from their mistakes and then pay the money. Dont pay till they have fixed all the mistakes they did while moving. They will charge you for mattress bags and not tell you about it, make sure you keep a check on that. Keep your own time and verify it to what they say. Or simply go with a different company.Some of the incidences from my experience.1. When I called to book, I was told that an email with all the details will be sent for review and signature. Never got that. Called again to confirm that was sent, didnt hear back.2. On the day of the move, the arrival window they gave me was between 8 am to 9 am. The truck showed up at 9.45 am but didnt have the movers in them; just the manager. The movers came 15 mins after.3. On the phone, I had given them a list of furniture items and knew some of it may have to be disassembled. But the manager did not bring any tools to do so. Then he went away for a good 55 mins to get the tools and didnt show up until one of the movers called him. Thank goodness I had a power tool otherwise a lot of time would have been wasted.4. In the house we were moving to, the carpet got stained by mud. I asked to fix it or refund the amount and the manager started suggesting ways as to how I can remove the stain. I didnt hire them to make suggestions; just fix it or refund some money.5. Towards the end, when I asked how I can report any damage if I discovered it later, the manager got aggressive saying: I didnt see any damage. Did you?.6. When I gave a bad review to the email they send out, the manager called and was trying to defend saying they sent three movers instead of the two they had originally promised. I didnt ask for three, did I? There was no effort in correcting the mistakes in anyway, just more of we did this for you, for no extra charge. What about the stained carpet and the wall damage?

Owner conducts his business in a very unprofessional and unethical manner. Even if you opt in for insurance, your damages will not be covered. Customer satisfaction is the least of his concerns. If you absolutely have to use them, make sure you inspect your furniture before signing or paying the remaining amount.

I dont leave negative reviews very often, but my interaction with this company compelled me to share my experience.I started filling out the form for a quote on their website and specified that email was my preferred method of communication. While I was in the middle of filling out the form for a quote, I realized I would be too busy to complete it until later today, so I closed it out and planned to come back later.Within an hour of closing the website, I received a call from an associate here even though I specified my preferred method of communication was email. Oh well, no biggie. I sent an email in response to the call letting the associate know I had planned to fill out the form later and not to contact me until that time.To which she replied:Do not worry about returning the form, we wont be able to be the service for you now or going forward.So apparently, all it takes to get banned from this business is to request they not contact you on the method of communication you already told them you preferred not to be contacted on.Very unprofessional and petty; if this is how they treat potential customers, Im grateful I was given this early warning.

Nicole in troy office is the most dishonest individual, they didnt deliver what was promised. Would never consider these guys for future move.

The team were professional courteous and most important they were fast and you want that when you are paying a rate per hour for their services.

The dudes were super nice and went super fast. My only complaint is one of my items got chipped during the move. Aside from that I would say it was a 5 star experience.

WARNING: STAY AWAY!!!My wife and I used this branch to move a little over a month ago and had a horrible experience. They claim to be Movers Who Care, but they were anything but. Here are a few of the more major issues we ran into with them:-They estimated that ALL of our stuff would fit just fine in a single truck. One truck could only fit about 2/3 of what we wanted it to, let alone the things we were moving ourselves or leaving (including 3 appliances). The contract also included (and charged us for) furniture bags for couches and mattresses. The movers did not come with any of the things we asked for.-Poor box packing: They showed no compassion for our items as we saw them carelessly toss things around. The worst was a box that had valuable glassware (wine bottles from wedding, personalized glassware, and that sort of thing). We made them aware of this, yet they were all packed loosely together with no paper, bubble wrap, or padding to protect any of it.-Careless handling: Things were tossed and slid around carelessly. They showed no compassion for our things and handled them much like you would expect from airport luggage services. Several boxes that were brand new the day before the move were tattered and torn by the time they were done. INCLUDING SEVERAL THAT ARE CLEARLY MARKED AS FRAGILE!!!-Poor truck packing: Boxes were packed inefficiently and very high with no consideration for loading. As a result; the several boxes on the bottom collapsed and nearly caused the entire load to topple, breaking two more pieces of furniture and who knows what in the boxes (we have not been able to go through it all yet, since it all went to storage).-Poor unloading: We got two very large storage units and asked them to pack things so that there was room to get around and access as much as possible. Instead, they spread it out haphazardly and took up the entire space so that we cant get to most of our stuff.I have tried to make contact with them to discuss our issues with them personally. I was turned away at the door for not having an appointment, now all my calls and emails go un-returned, so it appears that my only course of action is to share this horrible experience as much as possible so that others can learn from it and work with other movers who actually do care.

These guys were seriously great, got everything done quickly, carefully, and were super friendly! They understand the stress of moving and clearly care about making the experience as painless as possible. Their quotes are accurate and I was able to communicate with the office team by email, which helped with my work schedule. The EASIEST move I have ever done!!!!

I’ve used two men and a truck twice now and both times they were outstanding! They took special care to wrap my furniture prior to moving so it didn’t get scratched. This last move I used them for I moved from an apartment to a town house. They had to carry heavy furniture up two flights of stairs to get to the upper level of my town house. They never complained about all the stairs. They were pleasant and professional the entire time. Would definitely recommend them and would use them again without hesitation.

We used Two Men and a Truck to move some of our bigger and awkward sized furniture today (1/26/21) and while the actual move was super and the team super courteous - the caution and care was a different story as we discovered while unpacking. We paid for a mattress to be moved and a cover from them and they had the wrong one and then didn’t use one or anything at all and there are dirt and grime on it, didn’t wrap or anything for the bed frame and and that was all scratched up and not fully assembled. The most frustrating thing is that we just got our floors refinished and there was zero care with covering or padding and we are coming across countless scratches and gouges in the floors.

I have never written a bad review but feel compelled to do so because it was a major rip-off and they took advantage of my mother who was moving in to a senior housing apartment. We told the movers we werent happy and I called and left a message for manager last week and no reply. It took them 7 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment without any appliances and approximately 50 boxes. The cost and amount of time was almost triple what they quoted! The movers had a hard time finding her place which is just one street down off Crooks Road and they messed up on the new location even though they assured me they knew where they were going. They moved very slow but miraculously they started moving faster and bringing bigger loads when we were approaching the evening of the move and they wanted to get home. Ive moved several times with a full house in the past in less than this amount of time. Additionally the previous movers for my mom two years ago with the same amount did it in 4 hours including 1 hour transport. This was just plain nuts! Be careful and be warned if you use them. Very disappointing!

The movers scratched my new hardwood floors that were just installed 8 months ago and they still have yet to resolve my issue. Every time I call they say they’re going to have their manager that deal with these issues call me back but that never happens. These are the worst people to do business with..NEVER USE THEM THEY ARE TERRIBLE!

I had a family member use Two Men and a Truck when he moved and said he had a good experience. I wish we could say the same... What a total bomb!!!! First, the two workers they sent were very courteous young men, but inexperienced. Why the management of the Troy location thought it was okay to send to rookies for a complete house move is beyond me. We had several pieces of furniture - some of them antiques - damaged. Two of them are damaged beyond repair! And despite having purchased the expensive insurance plan, the company will not pay the replacement price of the two antiques that are ruined. They did send a very knowledgeable repairman out and he did a great job on the repairs that he could fix. But we are being taken to the cleaners regarding the antiques! They are balking at paying, even though we had the insurance. I called and told the manager, Jerid, that it wasnt smart to send out to rookies on a job together. I told him that instead of firing them, he should split them up and put them with experienced guys so they can really learn the trade. But, they got canned anyway. Now, we have our lawyers involved and are determining if we will go after them for full replacement value and/or replacement value and breach of contract. This will go far beyond small claims court. Two antiques over 105 years old are permanently ruined. My advice? STAY AWAY!!!! At least from this location. We were assured that they were bonded and assured, but this is the result - lies, lies, and more lies. Again - STAY AWAY from this location!!!!!!! Look at this photo - the glass and hand-crafted wooden lattice work are completely destroyed!!! Cant be replaced.

I was extremely satisfied with the entire moving experience thanks to Two Men and a Truck. They actually sent three guys due to some of the heavy furniture. The guys they sent were professional, polite and got the job done in extremely hot weather. I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck!

Great experience! Autumn set everything up correctly and promptly. The Moving guys (Harman and Mike) were efficient and handled my items with care. They had to disassemble and reassemble my bedframe and also handle and move some bulky items. They did everything with a smile and Im happy with this service.

Our movers were awesome, this is no fault of the company, but I didnt even realize it was possible to have more than 2 movers and our job really would have gone a lot more smoothly if wed had 3-4 movers instead of just 2. It took the full 7 hours and everyone was exhausted - especially our movers, but also us as well. I wish that our coordinator had asked us if we would need more than 2 movers for the job, would have saved a lot of time and trouble.

I wanted to use a company that was local and I called “Two Men and a Truck”. They were able to work with my schedule. After a little hiccup on my end they were very accommodating with a reschedule that was in our time frame. They were able to move my furniture on three different days, due to the rooms being worked on.The guys were so nice and were able to move everything efficiently with no problem. They were kind and courteous each time. We had two different teams. Everyone was polite and very nice to work with!Thank you!

These guys worked really hard to make the move as quickly as possible only one piece was broken and the company is going to replace that for us. Theyre super helpful, courteous, hard-working and the value of their service was excellent. I was charged $300 under the price point that I thought it would be!

The day they loaded up my contents went smooth and the delivery was just as smooth. Nothing was broken. I highly recommend them and shared my great experience to friends and colleagues.

Fantastic and very efficient. I recently moved cross state and they were great. No issues arranging a time and date with the office, and they explained everything needed before and during moving day. The moving guys arrived on time, quickly loaded everything, and had me unloaded at my new apartment a short time after arrival. 10/10 would recommend.

A great experience from the start to finish! I spoke with Steve on the phone, who was friendly, efficient and sharp. I needed a mover at a specific time, rather than a window of time, and he told me they would make that happen. The movers were great, as well; they were on time, got to work immediately, and took great care with the furniture Id just purchased that they were moving to my house. Once at my house, they moved the new furniture in, and got the old furniture from our house and garage quickly, neatly and nicely! :-) They understood what I wanted immediately, and even asked a few questions to make sure I hadnt missed anything. They then took everything to a charity. The price was a bit steep, but it was worth it to get this complicated job done! I recommend!

This was a phenomenal experience with your company. I have used you in the past but this time felt so easy and smooth. The two man team that packed me (who were also part of the move) were efficient, professional and friendly- overall a delight to work with. Darrin was especially great, he kept things flowing and kept me informed every step of the way. Both men and the office seemed to go above and beyond to help me and I really appreciated that.

The whole process of reserving the truck to the end of the move was smooth and simple. Movers were very friendly and worked hard to finish the job as quickly as possible, while at the same time being careful with our items. We will for sure use Two Men and a Truck again in the future.

The two men from this company did a great job moving furniture and boxes from an office into a home office. We also had them move some home furniture around. They were quick, organized and courteous. They wrapped the office furniture in plastic. They put the furniture and boxes where I asked them, too. We had a huge desk and they were able to move it by removing an office door!I would hire this company again. Christina, who organized the logistics, was quick to respond to my phone calls and emails. Sam & Chris, the movers, were great and I would request them again for any moving needs we have. They had reasonable rates, had an estimate written (which I prefer for business purposes), and used docusign for booking the move. All around great experience. Thank you Two Men and a Truck!

Burrell and Daniel JR were awesome! They had great communication between themselves, and me. They were cheerful and friendly, and very knowledgeable. Moving is such a stressful time for anybody, but their professionalism kept me organized and on task. They were extremely efficient in all of their movements, and had me out of my home in one hour! They were fine with the 1 Hr drive AND 2 stops. The first stop we were there for 15 minutes. The second stop, right around the corner, they unloaded the rest to my storage unit in 45 min! I was so pleased with their performance that I took them out to lunch. I appreciate the fact that they do things every day, that the rest of us cant do ourselves. I would not hesitate to hire them again and two men and a truck. Thank you so much guys!​

The actual service on the day of the move was outstanding, with Will and Lory performing exceptionally. They are great employees and ambassadors to Two Men and a Truck. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was, unfortunately, the office staff and their unprofessional handling of this process. It was not mentioned by the salesperson/Estimator on Feb 7th that there would be a deposit asked for; although it was not a total surprise, it was unusual to not be specifically told about it. In fact, it was a week later on Feb 14th when an office staff person called for my credit card. Then it was THE DAY BEFORE THE MOVE when I was sent the actual contract to sign, and it was comical, the contract stated they needed 72 hours notice in order for ME to cancel. How does that happen when it was less than 24 hours before the start time of the crew when I got the contract? I was given an hour window that the crew would arrive on the agreed day. They arrived 2 minutes before that window ended. Not sure what that was about since the location was 1.1 miles away from the starting point of the move. Once the crew arrived, they immediately introduced themselves and got to work packing my contents. They were not provided tape guns, which would have prevented them fighting with the rolls of tape while putting moving boxes together.This may all seem minor, and to someone else it probably is; however, this ineptitude from the office staff only increased my anxiety and stress over what is an already stressful time, a pack-out and move. After their handling of paperwork, lack of communication with the client from the first encounter with the estimator, and then not sending the crew with the proper tools to do their job (also they need a toolbox on their truck; ask Will and Lory - thank goodness I had some tools still left in the house) did not instill confidence in me that the day would go smoothly. It is only with the professionalism and work ethic of Will and Lory that made the day go smoothly from there. Will I call them again? Maybe. Will and Lory saved the day and is the only reason I would call them again.

My move went very smooth because of the movers. I had an upright piano that needed to be moved up a steep flight of stairs. Lester, Damon, and Josh did an excellent job. They were organized, courteous, and professional. I will highly recommend 2 men and a truck to everyone I know. Thank you for making my move a good experience!​

My overall experience was easy and great from start to finish but the movers Bud and Jose did a phenomenal job overcoming all the issues that we had to deal with.It started pouring rain as soon as they started moving and everything was covered up and the moved quickly. We had to make a stop at a storage unit which was a breeze.Upon reaching the location we moved to, there was a power line at the roadside drooping over my driveway that was to low for the truck to go under so the guys had to park out on the street. My house is easily 50+ yards back from the road so the guys unfortunately had to dolly and carry everything from the road. On top of that, it started pouring rain again as soon as they got started unloading.They had no issues with the situation and kept great attitudes despite all of this!

I had a terrible experience with this company. Mary Fisher is a rude, lying, and incompetent person that seems to hate her job. From the beginning, in my dealings with her, her communication with my wife and I was abysmal. The 2 young movers they brought to us were nice, but they did damage a few items in our home. Further complicating things was the fact that when I set up the move, the person (Stephanie) told me the movers could help us pack as long as we knew wed pay by the hour. That was fine with me. I was paying them to handle this move. She wanted to make it seem like she was doing me a favor so I wouldnt ring up a $3,000 moving bill, but I was more than willing to pay that much for someone else to handle this. When the day of the move arrived, Mary Fisher, the incompetent rude liar, told us we werent prepared and postponed our move for 24 hours. This caused my wife and I to scramble around to find someone to watch our 6-week old for the day while we packed everything. On the day the movers came back, Mary and I talked about the fact that having someone like a consultant come out and help first-time movers would benefit both the customer and company. She actually agreed with me on that point. That was only positive interaction I had with Mary. From there, the movers promised me they wouldnt charge me for the boxes we had to get from this company that we needed to pack. Mary Fisher, the incompetent rude liar told me I was still being charged. The funny thing about all of this is, the movers told me they think it would be a good idea for a consultant to come out and help first-time movers get an understanding of everything that needs to happen. They told me it would make their job easier. In an unsolicited fashion, they also told me they hate working for Mary Fisher and used a couple very unkind words to describe her. I can now see why they used the words they did to describe her. I will never use this company again and I implore you to not use them as well.

Absolutely the best movers I’ve ever had, I am 74 years and have moved a lot so that is really saying something! They made sure that everything we needed to have done was done, that everything was placed where we wanted and that everything was reassembled properly. I highly recommend them to do your next move!

I had a great experience with Two Men and a Truck! I had to move a very fragile cabinet (an antique, so irreplaceable!) and three pieces of art. Jose and Jacob were friendly, hardworking, and had positive attitudes. They were very careful with my items and respectful of me and my time. Thank you for excellent service!

I could not imagine a worse moving company to spend your money with. I have moved several times over the past few years for my job and have used other companies, all of which were good experiences. Two Men and a Truck out of Troy, MI was the complete opposite. Beyond the fact the movers asked for Red Bull to try to get some energy to move in a semi quick manner(not sure if hung over or just very tired because it was at 8:00 A.M.), they also damaged my home in multiple places and did not report any of it. I had to bring it to their attention before they agreed to document the damages. From that point on it only got worse. The follow up with management to try to get the damages repaired was almost non-existent and took numerous phone calls and emails to even get a response. Once we finally got something set up to have the repairs done we then had to take off work numerous days to meet the repair vendor they use and accommodate his schedule, which is 8:00-4:00 Monday through Friday. If you’re like most people that’s when you’re at your workplace and it’s not always easy to just take time off work and lose wages in order to accommodate repair for a service you paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars for. When I asked the “manager” Mary Fisher about some type of compensation for the experience she basically said “well the move could have taken 6 hours and we did it in 4 so sorry about your luck.” That was the response after weeks of trying to get some type of follow up and losing wages and time to accommodate their company’s mistakes. My move was performed nearly a month ago and still don’t have drywall repairs completed and have yet to have my light fixture repaired as well. This company is horrible and I would strongly recommend using someone else.

I did not actually even get to a point where this company moved my things. I was trying to hire movers to move me from the Detroit area to Columbus OH. I put in a request online several weeks in advance and did not hear back from them. I called several times and left voicemails and did not get a response.The week of my move they called me back. The had the audacity to tell me that the move was last minute even though I had been trying to get a hold of them for weeks. I finally did set up a date for the move (later than intended) and was told that someone would be in touch with me to set up a consult and finalize prices.The day before when the last option for the consult was supposed to be, I reached out to them to confirm the time. They then asked if they could come do the consult a few hours from when they got back to me, rather than the following day.Every email that I received from them had typos in it. They lack some seriously important communication skills and often do not even respond to you. You would have thought they did not want my business at all even though I would have been paying them several thousands of dollars for the move.I finally decided to just recruit some friends and do the move myself since now it is last minute and I wouldnt be able to hire another company to help me. I sent them an email explaining why i no longer wanted their services and no one ever even responded to me. Dont waist you time or let them back you into a corner. Hire literally anyone else to help you with your move.***I think that it goes to show how little this company cares about their customers that the only response I ever got from them was someone reading my post and saying that it must not have been their location. Do not use this moving company they arent at all reputable.

Mike also went the extra mile to be sure that there was never a moment I did not have 100% confidence that my glass cabinets were in any danger during the move. I would use your service again, and if/when I do would be happy to see Mike and his co-worker again if it worked out that way. Great job all around!

Lester Smart and Nick Waggoner did an amazing job with my move. It was like having two good friends taking care of my move, just stronger and more careful than my friends. They were so efficient and maintained an incredibly positive, upbeat attitude throughout the move. I am still amazed at the care for my belonging they were able to exhibit while completing the job so quickly. Weve usually used Two Men and a Truck for our moving experiences throughout Michigan. The one time that we didnt, ended up being a total disaster. In the middle of that move, we contacted this Two Men and a Truck franchise. Kevin took it upon himself, to not only make sure our contents were safe and secure, but he reassured us every step of the way, as what to expect and when to expect it. Kevin and his staff went above and beyond, bringing much needed relief to the two of us, in what started out as a very stressful move. Its encouraging to find a businessman so concerned with our satisfaction, and the reputation of his company.

I had a bad experience with this company. The only reason Im giving two stars instead of one is because the guys who did the moving were courteous.I told the company when I scheduled the move how much stuff there was. I was still in the process of packing when I scheduled it, so I estimated that there would be around 20 boxes in addition to all of my furniture. I grossly underestimated the number of boxes I would have, but that is beside the point.The movers showed up on time. I had all of the beds and furniture broken down in advance. The movers evaluated everything I had and indicated that they would not have time to move everything. They stated that they would move as much of it as possible in the time they had available, starting with the largest pieces of furniture.They ended up moving most (but not all) of my furniture. They did not move a single box. The move took a total of 7 hours, and I paid them over $1000 for that. The driving time between the two houses was less than 15 minutes.I had to rent a truck from U-Haul in Waterford (who are great, by the way) the following day to move the rest of my furniture and all of my boxes. I had help from three people and got everything moved the following day.I feel like I was ripped off, and I would not recommend this company to anyone who does not have money to burn.

What a waste of time and money. They literally did not move all of our stuff!When the movers arrived, their documentation was all incorrect as to how many couches and boxes to move. They said it happens all the time and it was not a problem. They started packing the truck. Halfway through the move, a manager stopped by, said everything appeared fine, and then left. We thought everything must be fine. Finally, the movers declared they were out of room and we were on our own as to the rest of our stuff. We were stunned. The manager had just left and he had not said anything to us. I had to rent a 15-foot U-Haul that I filled - twice - with the rest of our stuff, including a couch, multiple tables and several big boxes.When I asked to be reimbursed for my U-Haul expenses, the franchise manager, Mary Fisher, said the documentation showed we only reported three boxes and one couch to move. She sent the documentation to me via email, and it showed three couches and 12 boxes were to be moved.! So she either did not read the documentation or she was simply being dishonest. Again, do not expect any help from customer service, as Mary is the franchise manager. They are very unprofessional people at this location who do not put the customer first.

They came on time at 13:30 and started to move at 13:45. They moved everything very quickly and didnt waste any time. The entire moving process only took 2 and 1/2 hours, that is a little amazing.:) I will definitely recommend TWO MEN AND A TRUCK to my friends who need moving service.​

I moved from one building to another in the same complex. Based on past experience, the move should have taken about an hour. It took two hours. It seemed that the movers were deliberately moving slowly. (E.g., it took the movers more than twenty minutes to drive to a building a stones throw away.) I complained to the office who then tried to run my credit card without permission. I will not use them again.

Two Men and A Truck did an awesome job of moving my 1800s dining room set. They took great care and wrapped it against the elements and travel! Definitely plan on using them again.

The 2 young men that arrived were very professional at all times. They took great care with my furniture. They worked efficiently and did not waste anyones time which I appreciated. The movers called to say that their earlier job was running late and when they were on their way. The communication by Lester and Donavan was excellent. They were extremely professional, worked quickly and carefully while being personable and friendly. They did a great job and didnt bang things up rushing to finish as it was getting late due to the previous job running over. In addition, Sam in the office was very helpful and thorough when explaining the procedures and what to expect. All in all, an excellent experience! Will highly recommend this company and moving crew!​

Lester and my moving team were great.. They arrived on time, were extremely courteous, and respectful to me and my property! It was a cold, snowy day when i moved. They made multiple stops and they did have to go up and down several flights of stairs at 2 different destinations. These guys worked quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use the Troy-based Two Men and a Truck again!

Steve provided very friendly customer service by phone. The movers, Haley and Nick were also friendly and professional. Their attitude was positive despite having to lift several very heavy pieces. I have used Two Men and a Truck many times. They have moved me from one house to another, moved furniture around for me in the house and done smaller relocation projects. I have always found them to be kind, polite and hard working and men I was comforatable with having in my home. I would use them again without hesitation.

Overall I was quite satisfied with the experience. I like how they wrapped everything, secured everything, and took good care of my belongings. The movers were very cordial, pleasant, and easy to work with. I would use your service again, except next time Im having you guys to everything including the packing and unpacking!!​

I would never used this company again to move.!!! One of the movers drop my dresser which I seen him do with my own 2 eyes and damage it.. I talk to someone from the office the day of the moved and the man said that someone will be emailing me.. but I never received one. I gave the office a call back a few days later and that time the lady that answer the phone said someone would call me in 72 hours I still haven’t received a called or a email.. and to add insult to injury the movers messed up the grass and moved one of the big rocks at my apartment complex leaving it the middle of the street.

These guys were fantastic!Arrived on time as they said they would, careful with property, walked through the house with me on what was going on the truck.Once at the new location, told them which rooms the furniture was going, they set everything up. Super nice and respectful guys, with a sense of humor. Would use this company again.

Had this company move items from my business to my home end of january 2019. They DESTROYED my rosewood dining table and l-shaped desk and hutch( that couldnt be fixed as admitted by their manager). Dozens of documented phone calls and emails were largely ignored to resolve this matter. Calls to corporate were unsuccessful since every location is independently operated. Six months later I was forced to hire an attorney. Please do not consider this company if you value your property..

Their customer service is very bad. I had to move missouri and my employer agreed for moving expense. Somebody recommended me this service. I was very disappointed. As my employer was paying so I dint bother for money wise. They charged me 2 times more than any good moving service. There were broken items after moving and I keep calling them for compensation for 3 months. 90% of times they wont pick up the phone and once they do then typical answer we will get back to you in few days and they never did. Dont go to this service.

First time using Two Men and A Truck, didnt know what to expect, service exceptional. My team Bell and Morgan were very courteous, professional, attentive to my needs thereby reducing moving anxiety. There was a slight snafu with an arrogantasphalt subcontractor for the buildings management who swore at them and told them they had to move their truck, from the front of the building, then to hurry up. The team maintained continued professionalism, kept their sense of humor, stayed the course, had me moved to my new residence in record time. Furniture set up to my liking. I rate my team DeAndre and Morgan AAA & 5 stars.

We recently moved and used Two Men and a Truck for our move. A friend of ours highly recommended them. They arrived promptly on time, and were very professional and efficient. The move was done in less time than estimated and everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. We strongly recommend them to anyone who is planning on moving.

Polite, respectful, fast, and on-time. Had to move bedroom set to 1 location then pickup bedroom set from another location. Finished in a reasonable time. Plenty of heavy furniture, no complaints.
