Amazing place to go for gear or even just to walk around and see whats new say hey to the family there. I havent been going there too long a few years off and on an I always loved the atmosphere there nobody breathing down your neck of course they will ask you if your looking for something in particular or what have you but thats just good service. I would choose to go here than Guitar Center I was always treated rude because I wasnt a guitar god or in a band, It was like pulling teeth to get any help around there after 2017 maybe before okay this is about Music Go Round. Truthfully if you have never been check them out I know youll go back time and time again! The gear thats there and the gear that shows up there there is no telling what gem youll walk out of there with. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Music Go Round is the best place for all of your music needs! The staff is very friendly and informative! Last time I was there I got to jam out with the staff, it was a blast! We played Give it to Me Baby by Rick James! I will definitely be coming back soon to play Somebody’s Watching Me by Sam Rockwell to get into the Halloween spirit 😈

This good music store and inexpensive, but this store will be closing soon because of the pandemic business has been slow.

This place! I happened upon it by accident while running a lengthy list of scripted errands, whose last stop was a place where I could get guitar parts. I noticed Music Go Rounds modest storefront by sheer accident, and debated going in because I had so much to do that day and wasnt sure if they had what I needed. I nearly drove off, but thankfully I didnt. I walked in holding the pick guard and attached electronics from a vintage Musicmaster bass, seeking a new input jack and pots. A young person behind the counter immediately identified the guitar by the pick guard, and asked if he could perhaps look at the electronics and see if soldering might help. After a couple of goes, he completely eliminated the humming and crackling, and charged a quite modest fee for his work. While he was restoring the gear I had a conversation with the person who must have been the manager/owner, who was most cool. Customers came in and they were great. This is now my place to go whenever I want new (to me) gear or advice!

Friendly honest staff. They were nice enough to steer me away from what would have been a bad delay pedal purchase. They knew it had gotten bad feedback from others and were cool enough to share that with me. It could have cost them a sale but they would rather have integrity. They also had a donner fallout delay that was a great deal and ended up being amazing. They pointed it out to me and it was definitely the better choice. I walked out thinking I dodged a bullet and I love the pedal I got. Considering how bad the service is at places like guitar center, I came to really appreciate their honesty. Good lookin out!

This is the best music shop Ive found in my area. While I was debating my purchase I spoke to other customers that had nothing but good things to say. Hands down, a better atmosphere and experience than Ive ever had at a big box retailer. The owner definitely cares about the music as well as the musician.

We were referred here by someone who teaches band and orchestra instruments. I liked the fact that they sell you what you need not a bunch of extra things that your child may not need for a while. I appreciate that kind of service. Id recommend this store to anyone who is looking for an instrument for their child.

The staff is amazing here. Bought a used foot switch online that had an issue and these guys resolved the issue immediately. Very quick to reply to emails and even faster to resolve issues. Would highly recommend and I will continue to look here for more gear. :)

What a gem. It’s more of a recycled music store than a used store. There are some real finds here. The staff are fantastic, Chris, the owner knows me by name no matter how long between visits, answers all of my questions - sometimes more than once and is very quick to respond. I’ve made this my trade and go location and always feel I am getting a fair deal. I’ve never left disappointed and am comfortable with their recommendations regarding their equipment. I’ll never make them rich but I enjoy friendly environment, honesty, and good people. Great store. You’re missing out if you’ve never been.

TOP NOTCH accountability. I bought a piece of equipment here that failed and caused two subs to blow. Without any hassle and with full responsibility the owner took the device back and paid to have the subs fixed. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and I will be back to buy gear here again because of their display of integrity.

I had an exceptionally great experience with Chris at this Music Go Round store. I was looking for a quality acoustic guitar and found one on their website that looked very nice. But, I was very hesitant to spend > $1,000 on something that I could not hold or hear since I am in Minnesota. Chris sent me a ton of extra pictures, from all angles, so I could get a really good look at the guitar. Then, he sent me several sound clips, in both standard and DADGAD tuning, and also plugged into an amplifier, so I could hear it for myself. Finally, he went the extra mile to have it shipped to a local store here Minnesota so it would not be left outside in the cold of winter. It was packed extra carefully and arrived without a single scratch.I am thrilled with the guitar and the service and my only regret is that I cant thank Chris in person. But I can give him my best recommendation. Absolutely a first class person, and store, to work with.

I have both bought and sold equipment and guitars from music go round, and have always had a great experience. Chris the manager has been great to deal with when talking to online, and very friendly in the store. His staff is always willing to help, but they do not smother you as a customer. Prices are very reasonable, trade in prices are better than what guitar center would offer. Selection is not what you would see at guitar center, but it is all used gear so they dont necessarily control what is in their inventory. But I would look here before looking at guitar center any day. Chris does a great job running the store and has a great supporting staff.

Never going there again, young guy behind the desk practically lunged at me when I told them that their asking price for a guitar was unfair and insufficient. Got screwed over but they can have it all, it wont change what is in their heart. I advise anyone to just go directly to a guitar center or some other establishment.

This is the local store to start with if youre looking for something. Helpful staff. Check back often as their inventory is constantly changing. If youre thinking of buying something, you better buy it or itll be gone the next day.

I was just there today and I agree with all of the positive reviews here about this location. Both of the guys that were working today were very nice and extremely helpful (cant remember there names tho). I traded in an old combo amp and picked up a new (used) one… very satisfied with the deal they gave me. Fair value on the trade-in (pretty much on par with what GC wouldve given me… and I got to avoid dealing with GC, which is always a plus!), and very reasonable sticker price on the amp I left with. The only other MGR Ive been to is the one in Ann Arbor, and this one definitely seemed to have a better selection was just an all-around nicer store… merch and staff included.

They have some really nice stuff for a really good price, and the people are really nice and helpful.
