I go to this UPS store location several times a month. There is usually not a long line, the store is clean & well organized, the employees are very courteous & friendly, and the store is just overall efficiently run. My returns are always posted immediately, which is so helpful.So the Troy stores terrific level of service is what I expected when I stopped into a different UPS store in a different town while running errands, where I encountered an employee who never made eye contact with me, seemed surly, and barely spoke. My package wasnt entered into the tracking database for several days either (although this could have been due to the recent holiday). After googling the problematic store in an attempt to determine where in transit my package was, I found it had a very low customer rating. This made me realize that the awesome Troy store deserved a shout-out.I am very grateful for the competence and courtesy that is provided by the Troy Ohio UPS Store employees. Thank you!!
I dropped off a small package to be sent and was helped to package it so that it would not break in transit. Arriving home, I discovered that the delivery signature was not included as I had requested. I immediately called the store, but the phone was not answered. There was a voicemail box, but it stated that it was full. I called the store 6 times that day, and finally reached someone who remembered me that day and responded that it would be added to the package and asked for my email address, explaining that I would be emailed the receipt. I received no receipt, so I called two days later and again, the phone was not answered. I left a message asking for verification that the delivery signature was included. Two days later, I had not received a phone call or email. Therefore, I called again and no one answered the phone and again I left a message. I know the store is very busy for several reasons, but it is frustrating when no one answers the phone even though I called 9 times and received no email or return phone call. Since this package is very important, I will no longer use this store and will go to FedEx across the street.
I had the best customer service in a long time when I came in today and Lilly helped me with a particularly difficult order. Id like her manager to know what a great employee UPS has in Lilly. She knew what she was doing and she did it fast. What more could you want! Thank you again and Ill be back!

The management is very nice and believe they are doing their best. As a customer who tried shipping a laptop to Italy, lost all my $133 since US customs wouldnt allow on flight due to a hazardous packaging sticker that was claimed to have come off (I had this store package everything, so not in customer control). Package was returned to home US address (never made it out of country). Knowing it may have been a partial USPS issue was asking for partial refund, but nothing of the $133 sepnt with this store.
I was told that I could check my mail and get my mail 24/7 by employees at the Troy store but I cant everytime I go if its closing time I cant get my mail I could have had a PO box at the post office in at least got my mail everyday
I had to return something to Amazon. They helped me print the return label and were super nice and helpful! They affixed it and sent it, no problem, snd I was out of there in no time! Super helpful!
10/13/2020Employees were NOT wearing masks! How should that be reported!? I should have left the store but I had to mail my packages!

Wanted to overnight a letter to NC - they quoted $38 for USPS and $58 for UPS! The post office flat rate for express mail is only $22. Their overhead & profit margin is nuts - good luck.

Bad customer service! I shipped an heavy weight item through this UPS store, paid for the store to package the item to get it there safely, and the item arrived destroyed and unusable! They placed this fragile 115lb item in a single box with brown paper for padding!I paid for insurance on this expensive item, and both UPS Corporate and the UPS store refused to refund or honor the insurance because it was Not packaged up to standard!I used to use this store a lot to ship items for my eBay store, but I cannot trust them anymore. Ill stick with FedEx, thanks.Be wary of this store.
Frequent here to drop off shipments from work. Always immediately greeted. Very nice staff who are helpful and informative.

Outrageously expensive. Fedex is way cheaper. They will rip you off if you buy stamps there too.
Ive gone a couple time to send packages to brothers who were deployed. The staff was helpful and my brothers got their packages.
