I am aghast that my son who came with us to the Verizon store to help with the purchase of my husbands new iPhone had to do all the work. The employee would not even open the box for my husband. Verizon has taken a very hands off approach with service, and I find this to be unacceptable to older people who are not familiar with advanced technology. Verizon needs to provide better customer service if they want to continue their business otherwise I will be switching to another phone network and carrier.
Let me start by saying that I NEVER write online reviews. However, after the experience I had at Verizon Trumbull Mall, I felt the need to share my experience. I was looking to transfer over from T-Mobile but was not quite sure of whether or not it was what I wanted to do. My first encounter was with a gentleman by the name of Ja. Ja was very understanding, patient and knowledgeable. Ja worked with me and showed me my options. I was really impressed with him and his competence but I wasn’t quite ready to make that change. Ja’s professionalism left an impression on me so I ended up returning the next day, this time ready to come over to the Verizon family.Unfortunately, Ja was not in the next day so I ended up being helped by Drew. Drew showed the same level of professionalism and top level customer service that had me return to the store. Apparently, there is a standard. Drew spent time carefully explaining my options, answered all my questions and when I walked out of that Verizon store I knew I had made the right decision. I just wanted to make sure that Verizon knew that this client appreciates the excellence that was displayed by these two PHENOMENAL EMPLOYEES. I am a new Verizon customer and because of Ja and Drew I know I made the right decision!
Went in today for help transfer a phone to another phone with a new line. The girl there said I can do it myself by switch out the SIM card. I said are you sure because they are different iPhone models and I was told the SIM cards are different. She said no do it yourself. So I said ok and left. Get home and guess what it can’t be done. Will be going to a different store. The people here can’t be bothered. No one was in the store and the 2 employees were just sitting there playing on their phones and acted like I was bothering them.
Fantastic staff. Exceptional service from Ja.
This was my 1st time in a Verizon store, the employees were professional and nice, they know their product. Andrew made sure I was all set with my new phone and service. I highly recommend this location.
Excellent customer service.
Great customer serviceAndrew W. went over and beyond to help my father with his 1st smartphone
Had a great experience inside this Verizon wireless store customer service was great sales associate Nick he was awesome he helped us out with everything that we need to help with he guided us onto the right plan the manager Sarah she was awesome she help me my mom and my dad out she took her time with the right plan for us as well this was the best experience I ever walked into thank you guys very much
I read the reviews of this location before heading to the store today to buy a new phone. I was skeptical as to what the service experience would be compared to the good service I’ve received in the past at this location. I decided to take a chance and visit this location in spite of the recent poor reviews.I couldnt have been more pleased with my experience. I arrived at about 11:30 and there was no wait for me to be served. Andrew handled my new phone needs. He was knowledgeable about the product I was interested in and was able to provide excellent service while he explained the products and the discounts and best deals for my needs. He explained that I could transfer my information to my new phone via the online instructions, but because the store wasn’t that busy, he was able to transfer my information for me. As he was doing so, I was able to ask additional questions about the phone and other devices that I was purchasing and he was able to provide me with the information that I needed.Customer service is extremely important to me, having many clients myself in my own business. I’d like to believe that the management at this location heard and reacted to the poor reviews they’ve received in the past. If that is the case, BRAVO to you for providing the tools necessary for your employees to do a good job for your Verizon customers!
Worst experience ever, where to begin first off the guy I talked to was very rude from the start, seemed like he didnt want us to be there kept commenting how our appointment time is limited and I understood but if my issue was never resolved am I suppose to just leave when our time is over ?without fixing the issues. I came here to buy two phones and waited until the end to tell me I couldnt buy a new phone, and ended up saying to call a number online that he couldnt help anymore, if thats the case then they honestly should not hire or have any stores and hire more people to answer phone calls. if it wasnt because I get great deals here I honestly would have stopped being a Verizon costumer. costumer service sucks here !!!
Waited one half hour on the phone at the store to get a phone, evidently they have the phones at the store but the sales people can’t sell you one until you talk with tech support.I have gone to a new cell phone company and Im much more pleased. Sorry Verizon, you need to get your act together.
This place could use a lesson in how to display products so that people can understand what they offer. Sure the main companies are displayed prominently but what about the other phones? Their lesser known phones don’t have a display to tell you what phone it is or any info. It’s just a phone on a very short cord. You have to turn the phone over and hope it’s labeled. What is this Nokia or this Motorola? Does this phone sell so cheaply it can’t be labeled?I came to check out the Palm Phone and it isn’t even set up for use. So if you wanted to ask, “could I text on this thing?” Sorry, we didn’t bother to set up the phone at all. I mean, if you want people to buy your product, maybe a little effort into your store and product displays so that I can at least see what’s for sale and try them out?Lastly, there’s an iPhone on display near the front thats locked down so tight you can barely pick it up. It gives me the impression me that theft must happen every day.
Had the best experience Ive ever heard at a Verizon store. Brought in my new note 8 for them to fire up. They did the data transfer & other things I needed done. Very friendly & helpful. Highly recommend.
Got there and there were 10 customers all waiting on 1 Worker, too busy to even take information from the people waiting...... 5 minutes later 3 other workers and manager come out from the back room and started helping us. Once there was enough staff things went smoothly and quickly.
Watch out for these guys. They are either uninformed, or liars. My father in law is deployed abroad with the State Department, and while stateside, signed up for a line at this location on my account. They said we could suspend the line with no charge, but this is untrue. You need to be under a military branch; US State Department does not count. Not sure why being posted abroad for 3 years at a time in a high risk area isnt considered serving our country abroad, but thats an issue for Verizon corporate. The issue with this branch is that they specifically said wed be able to suspend the line with no charge, which we cannot do.So, either uninformed, or lying to make a sale. Ill give the benefit of the doubt and assume its the former. I think its always best to go online directly to Verizon for anything. They have cheaper pricing and theres less likelihood of a mistake like this.
This store is by far the best store. The employees are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their products. I recently switched carriers and I am pleased with my experience with Nick and Jovon. Thanks a lot guys!!! I highly recommend. :)
The Verizon employees here deliver the WORST customer service Ive ever experienced! If I could give them negative stars I would. I bought a iPhone XS Saturday night and when I got home to activate it, I realized the employee sold me the wrong phone. I asked for a 128GB and he gave me the 64GB. By that time, Verizon was already closed. The next morning around 1pm, I went back in and explained to the manager (I wanted to include his name, but conveniently none of the employees have name tags) the situation. Even though it was entirely the employees fault HE CHARGED ME THE RESTOCK FEE OF $50 to exchange the phone to the correct one I originally wanted. I was in shock. I repeatedly told him it was his employees error and it should be waved. HE SAID IT WAS MY FAULT TOO BECAUSE I DIDNT DOUBLE CHECK THE GB BEFORE I WENT HOME. I was in disbelief. He then said the computers wont allow him to wave the restock fee even if he wanted to do it. Even the other employee next to him said the computer wont allow them. I left the store and immediately called customer service to get the fee waved. The customer service representative agreed with me 100% and said THE EMPLOYEES IN STORE COULD ABSOLUTELY WAVE THE RESTOCK FEE, but it would go against the store credit so in reality he just didnt want to do it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AT ALL! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND FRUSTRATION. THIS IS THE 2ND ENCOUNTER IVE HAD WHERE THE EMPLOYEES JUST WANT TO MAKE MONEY AND DISREGARD THEIR CUSTOMERS. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THEM. I AM NOW CONSIDERING MOVING CARRIERS.
Fast and nice people
This has been the best experience I have ever had. Necas is so knowledgeable giving me payment option plans and really explaining Im writing what is best for my business. Tony is the manager and he definitely cares about customer service. I drove all the way from Long Island to make this purchase. I couldnt be happier. Do not listen to bad reviews. They are not real. They even made me a cup of coffee!!
Service was absolutely terrible walked in and stood there waiting while reps were just sitting around doing nothing. I needed to reactivate my phone because the service was awful so someone finally acknowledged me and changed my sim card said it was activated and should take 2-5 minutes to be activate. Walked around the mall for around 45 minutes before I noticed my phone still wasnt working so went back to the store and the manager with a terrible attitude just said you have to call the number that is posted on your phone to activate and I told her they told me to come in for you guys to activate it so Im sitting there for almost an hour with them going back and forth like they have no idea what was going on. After all that time waiting no apology for the nonsense or anything so I took my phone and walked right out. Ill be leaving Verizon and never returning. If you dont have good communication skills stop working with people.
The kid who helped me upgrade my phone forgot to put the phone case I bought for my new phone in the bag and when I came back a short time later they said they had lost it and that they wouldnt do anything to help me. They treated me very suspiciously like I was trying to steal from them and did nothing to help me. Now Im out 60 bucks! Next time Im gonna go to a different store with a hopefully more competent staff.
BUYERS BEWARE. TERRIBLE customer service and EXTREMELY RUDE. Don’t go here. They’re rip offs. I got a better deal at the Verizon in Norwalk.
Terrible!!! Every time I go into this Verizon they talk to me and look at me like I’m a idiot! They don’t know what they are doing and they don’t give you all of the information you need. Instead of being attentive, their attention is focused on the music playing in the background. The team seems very unprofessional and standoffish. The associate who helped me, Victor (the solutions specialist), completely lacks any knowledge of customer service. Instead of rolling your eyes and copping an attitude, try assisting a customer in need of some help.If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
Very informative.
By far the worst customer service I have ever seen. The manager was completely rude and could careless if he helped us or not. He had an AirPod in his ear, his employees were on FaceTime with random people and basically acted in a very unprofessional way. He tried to argue with us when his store improperly sold a service. They swiped our card and charged us for something we have not received. We had called corporate and they are reviewing this mans profile as he according to higher up individuals does not suit the mission of Verizon. This was a fraudulent activity and will be made right. Save yourself some time and do not go to this store. This manager deserves to be fired and we are working on making that happen.
Called about demoing a Google daydream that they said they had, got there and they showed me a Google home. When I explained that the daydream was a vr headset they brought it out but had no controller (which is necessary to start Google daydream apps), so I guess I came here for no reason even though I called to make sure I wouldnt be. 1 star, if youre going to work here you should probably know what youre working with
VERIZON WIRELESS demanded more than $1000 for restarting cell service.VERIZON WIRELESS OWNER IS NOT APOLOGETIC FOR DEMANDING MORE THAN $1000 for restarting cell service.
Screwed up my phone badly can’t even have a usable voicemail
I recently switched to Verizon, largely in part because of how I was treated by both the sales rep and the manager I spoke to at the Trumbull Mall. I took a LOT of their time and had thousands of questions, but they never grew impatient with me (on three different days I went in/called). The manager stayed for an hour longer than he was scheduled to work, just to get everything squared away for me.
Great place to shop for new and improved phones they also have great customer service
Very nice staff and great customer service!
I have always done my upgrades at the Apple Store but this time I made the mistake and went to the Verizon store. They were able to do what I was told impossible todo! They put. 2 phones on one line., then they fixed that and put the wrong phone on the wrong line then told me I have return to the store because only a. Manager can fix this issue. Then I get the bill and what they told me was free was not free!
Rich was very very helpful he did not stop, until,he resolved all my issues .I came in very unhappy and left a very happy customer !!
I needed them to pair my new ear piece. ( bluetooth) they are alwzys very friendly and exstreamly helpfull.
They we supper busy, down one person, I still didnt wait long, andthey helped me with what I needed and then some! Super happy
They are unprofessional disgusting they charge 5$ to print your bill and they charge tax on the 5$ then when I talk about it she kick me out the store telling me not to come back I wouldn’t go back there if they were the last store on the planet they don’t even deserve a star
Needed by bluetooth paired, they are always a great help
Sales technician BJ resolved my phone issue.. This is the second time he resolved an issue in the past 2 yearsHes a stellar technician.
Worst customer experience, would never go back 2 this store. I wouldnt even give them a star. I have been a customer since 1997 and these employees treat their customers like sh.. .
Good customer service.
Got a screen protector placed quickly.
I dont like the story because stuff bad
One of the few Verizon stores where I was satisfied with the customer service.
