Came here to get my alternator replaced a few months ago after seeing a lot of great reviews. I got a good quote and went in and was told I needed a new battery, which I knew. They offered to put in a new battery, which I refused, since my old battery was still under warranty at autozone. After I went to exchange the battery myself down the street at Autozone, LK said they were going to charge me $45 to install the battery, when I could have just taken my car to autozone and have them install it for free... whatever. After getting the new battery installed, LK tells me my alternator was fine and there was nothing wrong with the car. There is obviously something wrong with the car if I’m having to change out my battery every 4-6 months.This was the third time I’ve to change out my battery in 1.5 years. I have had starting problems for a while when I don’t use my car for more than 3-4 days, and have had the free diagnostic scans at autozone tell me that my alternator was bad (more than once). So I felt pretty confident I need my alternator replaced.I explain this all to them and they say next time it happens to bring my car back...I don’t think so. I just brought it to you when it happened this time. After saving up the money to get this problem fixed, I was not happy having to be charged $45 just to install my battery which I could have done myself or have autozone done for free then be told my car is fine.And guess what, 4-5 months later I have the same problem starting up my car but have taken it elsewhere, where I was told I did in fact have a bad alternator. So no thanks LK.

LK Auto has done great quality work on 3 of my vehicles. Jobs such as clutch master cylinder, brakes, shocks, tie rods, transmission gasket and fluid change. Thier shop isnt the nicest but dont let that influence you. They always charge me a reasonable fair price, they get it done fast, and they get it fixed right.
