This place is amazing not only is it the only place that could replace my Audi windshield with a OE one beside the dealer but they replaced some broken pieces that attached to the windshield like a year later after they fell off because the clips broke during the initial install. I’ll never go anywhere again for a window replacement. These ppl went over and beyond expectations.

The technician was awesome! I brought my vehicle in around 1:30 my appt was scheduled for 2, I expressed my concern in how long it might take due to having children that needed to be picked up after school/work and he said no problem, let me get your vehicle in the shop now so we should hopefully be done no later than 4:30 the tech called me at 3! Thats right 3!! And not only did he replace my windshield, he had to re-calibrate my front camera for lane assist and all of this was done so quickly, now not everyone may experience that and things can go wrong, but I was extremely impressed with how quickly the work was done and thankful I wasnt running behind to pick up my children! Thank you David and Safelite for replacing my windshield in record time!! AND DONT LET ME FORGET, the tech also cleaned all my windows AND vacuumed the driver side floor board!!!!!

I had my windshield replaced May 2919. The reason I am writing this review is recently I am replacing my driver side wiper arm. The only reason the wiper arm would be removed or loosened was for this windshield replacement. On August 14, 2021 the wiper arm quitting working. I was so surprised at first thought a wiper motor. I then inspected the wiper arm. The arm was loose and seemed to be floating above the mounting area on the motor. I then pulled the dust cover on the wiper area mounting nut. I found the nut to be finger tight and the wiper arm was loose and floating above the mounting area on the motor. I then removed the wiper arm noticing there was bare metal where their should have been splines. I then looked to make sure the splines were still intact on the motor mount for the wiper. The splines on the mount were completely intact. The wiper arm metal where splines and contact area were bare metal. I checked the passenger wiper arm it was installed and secured correctly. It was raining I was stranded. I had to wait for about the rain to abate. I waited for 2 hours for the rain to stop it was late evening by the time I was able to get home. I then had to see how much it was going to cost to replace the driver side wiper arm. I researched online and since it is a Kia Soul. I researched and found only factory replacement. I then ordered the Driver Side Replacement for a total of 77.81 this includes the shipping required to get it to my house. This part is usually he life of you vehicle. This failure of the wiper arm was because of the failure of the technician to ensure the job was completely properly. This is the only work conducted on my vehicle that would require the windshield wiper arm to be removed. I am very upset this inconvenience of not be able to drive my vehicle at this time of monsoon. I feel that reading some of the other complaints against this location. The ability of the technician to be competent in completing tasks in in question. Please if you are considering this business to replace your Auto Glass look into other options. I am fair in assessing businesses when writing a review. I will point out the good things in this case the positive things on the day of repair was later to be found lacking at the final outcome. The added expense and inconvenience far outweigh the initial satisfaction of thinking the business had done a good job. Look for alternative Automotive glass services read all the reviews and weigh your options.

Great, warm customer service from the moment I made my appointment until my car was returned. When I arrived, the bays were completely full and so I thought my car would take several hours *no big deal. It only took 1.5 hours! I was pleased. Thanks to the team for being awesome!! My boyfriend was pleased with his windshield.

I took my truck in to have my windshield replaced on 4/16/2021, and was told it could be as long as three hours, but more likely slightly over an hour. I went next door to Brushfire, and by the time I got back an hour later, the work was done. New windshield looked great, and the vacuumed the truck and cleaned the other windows.

I needed a new windshield and it would need to be reprogramed. They were able to do that in the same day. David was very professional, did a great job. Even did extra cleaning. He saved my stickers and emblem from my old windshield and put it on my new windshield. He reviewed all the paper work. It was done quickly and was a pleasure to do business with. I have had no problems with the new windshield. I would recommend this business.

Had an appointment. The day and time came and went with no contact as to why. After a frustrating time trying to get someone on the phone I was told they didn’t have my windshield in stock. I went to the car dealer and got it done the next week. Will never use Safelite…ever.

Horrible experience! Unwilling to do the right thing to honor my request to have a different glass company install my windshield. Technician installed defective windshield glass in vehicle. Returned vehicle for inspection and he verified it was defective and needed to be removed and replaced again but I had to wait about two weeks for the glue to dry. I call USAA to report the problem and request to have a different glass company install the new windshield. After over five calls and being cut off and misleading information, I finally contacted Safelite Customer Care Center and spoke to a condescending customer uncaring employee and was told that I hand to take my vehicle back to the same shop and have them install it again under their warranty are they would not cover the replacement cost which was the decision of the manager tat the shop that originally installed it. I was told I had to return to the shop and they would create a warranty form to take to the glass installer of my choice and have them complete an invoice of their cost and return that invoice to the the Safelite manager for approval or disapproval. To make a long story short the Safelite manager denied the other glass company to install the windshield. After three weeks of Safelite stone walling and trying to dictate that I could only have my vehicle windshield replace by them, I said enough. I recontact USAA to get permission to pay for the glass company of my choice and be reimbursed by USAA and they would deal with Safelite. I would rate them minus 5 stars if available. Worst experience in my 70 years of life.

This place is a scam.... they charged my insurance company $100 just to do nothing..... I have a small chip in my windshield... they came out and took a quick look at it and said theres nothing they can do for it... and that was it... a few minutes later I got the receipt and it shows they charged $25 for parts... what parts I dont know they didnt put anything on the car.... $65 in labor.... I guess thats how much it costs them to walk to the car look at it and go sit back down...so people look out for scams like this... not right at all..

They have also been my go to since they work with my insurance company. But this last time I had to come in someone broken into my car so there was glass everywhere. Thankfully they vacuumed my car clean and offered to install a new window regulator. I really appreciate the work they do here and they go above and beyond. Thank you so much!

They ordered the wrong windshield

This is my favorite Safelite. Great service and nice people.

This place is a scam, a joke, and a ripoff. I called to schedule an appointment to have the windshield on my BMW 328i 4 door sedan replaced because a tow truck kicked up a rock and cracked my windshield.This was the first time I’ve had a cracked windshield, so I was stressing out. I called Safelite because my insurance recommended them to me. First off, I was on hold for 45 minutes, and then the agent gave me a quote for $390 and scheduled an appointment for early the next morning. I saw reviews online about people showing up to their appointment just to have Safelite cancel or not have the windshield, so I decided to call to verify my appt. When I called, the agent asked me if I was calling about a windshield about a BMW 328i 2 door convertible. That’s not the car I told the first agent, and there’s no way he can get the two mixed up. On top of that, the first agent gave me a quote for a windshield without rain sensors, but I clearly told him that my car had a rain sensor. After the agent corrected my information, the price coincidentally went up to $470. This is actually the cash price and not through my insurance. After reading the reviews, I wasn’t surprised that they did that to me. Their plan was most likely to give me a quote for the wrong and cheaper windshield and then wait to tell me that they ordered the wrong windshield until after they took off my windshield that way I’m forced to buy the more expensive one.Since they ruined my trust, I canceled my appointment and decided to take my car somewhere else. I have a friend that owns a car dealership and he recommended a place to me. I called them up, and they gave me a Quote for $175 out the door. Since Safelite was more expensive, I figured that they were going to give me a BMW windshield, but nope, that was the price for an aftermarket windshield. They were charging me $300 more than the other shop just to make money off of me. Most places charge more when you use insurance because the insurance often sets the price, but the cash price is cheaper. Not with Safelite; they rip you off with or without insurance...And get this: the place that I got my windshield fixed for $175, actually gets their windshields at the exact same place as Safelite, so they can’t claim that they have to pay a lot more for their windshields.The windshield for my BMW 328i was only $120, and that’s with the rain sensors.Just so everyone knows, the average car windshield is only around $100. If Safelite, or any other repair shop, tells you that your windshield cost $300, they’re lying; run to another shop.Edit: I forgot to mention, if you live in Tucson, and you don’t want to get ripped off, go to Auto glass Distributors. They also take insurance, but they still won’t charge you as much as Safelite. These windshield companies think that they can charge you high fee just because the insurance company is the one paying for it, but it’s still shady business.I also got my windshield done the same day and didn’t have to wait multiple days like Safelite.

Disappointed. Annoyed. Fed up. I came to this location for a window replacement 4 months ago. Showed up for my appointment and they don’t even have the glass. What exactly did they do in the 2 weeks between making the appointment and showing up? Clearly not checking inventory for an upcoming install. When I showed up for the second appointment I witnessed them do the same thing to another customer however it had been her THIRD time showing up to the appointment with no inventory. I had to go again today for another replacement. I decided to be proactive this time and called ahead the day before to ensure glass was in stock. Was put on hold for 20 minutes and told ‘YEP! Glass is in stock!’ I showed up for my appointment today and NO GLASS IN STOCK!!! This place has some serious issues. 1. No concern for customer’s time. 2. Inventory system. 3. Communication etc.Update***review began as a 1 star. However, I do believe they went out of their way to help me, after seeing the review. I do appreciate the efforts put forth by the quality manager, David!

Initially, I wanted to go local. However, the local shop didnt have what I needed in time. I arranged a same-day appt on Safelites website. The site asks about your car before it even lets you make the appt. I needed a few more minutes than the 60 min drop off to get the car there and didnt want to lose the appt, so I used the websites chat. The rep said it wouldnt be a problem.At the Kolb location, everything went to hell. You should have dropped off the car between 7 and 10. ( I didnt even make the appointment online until 10:30!) Then, I hear not my problem. Then I hear, We dont have the windshield. Then, its We dont have a tech to do the work. (It was NOON!) Which is it? Rude. Unprofessional. Disinterested in customers. At least do me the courtesy of sticking with one lie. The appointment was rescheduled for 3 days later. I contacted customer service again and got the same rep who was upset by how I was treated. I mentioned being turned away and told I needed to be there at a time BEFORE I made the appointment. The rep said I had an all-day drop off, so I never should have been turned away or told no one was available to work on the car. I reached out to another location, (who also couldnt believe the treatment I got) before I got proper service. In the end, it took 2 days, 4 different appointments and driving to 3 locations before I got the repair. This was my first experience with Safelite and the Kolb location. It will also be my last.

I had a MINOR chip and the tech stated he thought he did a good job but couldnt stand by it.. 2 days later after my car sitting in my garage I see a giant crack across my windshield. I of coarse went back down there. I went in and the extremely heavy set woman started hysterically laughing at me.

My window had shattered suddenly and unexpectedly on my way home from work on a saturday. By Monday morning, through Geicos glass policy, Technician Andy came to the rescue and replaced the window during inclement weather. He even came back after he had been let off shift when I expressed that the locking mechanism wasnt working for the door that was repaired. He followed through till the job was done and my vehicle was safe again!

Our driver side door glass panel fell inside and we were not able to put the window up. Stafelite put the window up and made it so we cant put the window down for FREE. It is a temporary fix until we can order the $50 part to fix it and about $80 for them to install it. The waiting room and the restroom was really nice. Great customer service.Highly recommend this place.

Dont use this company to repair your windshield. I had a tiny chip about the size of a quarter in my windshield. The technician that came to repair it actually tripled the size of the chip and now they say they can replace it but I have to pay the deductible. Total scam. Yes its free to repair but our guy made it worse so now you can pay $500 outta pocket. Thanks!

The entire process was so easy! I dropped off my car with them as I had to be at work and the back windshield was shattered, the rinestone sticker that was still in the corner of the window. They took the time to remove all of the tiny glass squares off of it and put it back on the new glass. Literally like it never happened! It was awesome!

Better customer service communications needed

Just got home from Safelite and am very happy with my experience. When I called the 1800 number to make my appointment, I couldnt clearly describe the issue and was quoted aprox 200 dollars. When I went to my appointment, the gentleman who looked at my car told me that it was just the cosmetic molding that was coming off and that they could use adhesive to lay it back down - saving me 200 dollars! They didnt even charge for the work because I have replaced my windshield w them before. Super happy with their honesty and willingness to help me and save me money!! Definitely will go in the future for windshield needs!

Came to my work and did a great job changing out my windshield.

Terrible experience. The guy that came out to do a chip repair did not do it right. I asked for it to be done properly and i was told that it was. The chip was not completed properly, the chip is still visible and not completely filled in. I called the office and gave them a chance to fix the issue. They said they would replace the glass. The problem then lays with the iasue that i have a tint strip with ceramic tint that they will not cover. So, because their repair person messed up and did not do the job properly i am out of pocket to hire someone to fix the crack again or replace the windshield ($350) and the tint strip ($300, ceramic tint). Dont waste your time call a professional company.

Most expensive glass company in Az. Very bad automated system. Extremely long hold times. Rep told me no other glass company warranties their work and that should justify their much higher price, Wrong! Swat was 125.00 cheaper with no extra fees and full guarantee.

The finished product here is good, and the people performing the work know what they are doing. With that said, the scheduling and prework effort is shaky. My initial appointment was disappointing. I showed up on time. They took the car and went through the warm fuzzy feeling introductory stuff. Two hours later I was told that they didnt have a windshield for my car and I need to come back. We set another appointment for 4-5 days later and the correct windshield wo uh ld be delivered by then. I showed up on time, and gave them the car. They put in the new windshield. It took about 2 hours and everything was fine.If you use these people, just keep in mind the front end of things is loosey-goosey. Check and verify whats going on.

One call verified my insurance and scheduled my appointment. I received a text message with a photo of the technician and a narrow time-frame a half an hour before the technician arrived at my work. The technician was polite and professional, and most importantly competent.

Had an appointment scheduled several days in advance for a mobile install on 6/22/19. Was given a window of 10:30-3:30 for the install. Missed out on a D-backs game with my wife and kids so I could get the windshield fixed. Received an email from safelite the day prior confirming the appointment, and stated I would receive an email in the morning with the technician information. Never received this email and Safelite was a no-call/no-show for the scheduled appointment. I called to see what was up and was told “the technician left a voicemail this morning to reschedule due to overbooking.” Nobody called or left a voicemail. They said the best they could do was reschedule for a later date. I wasted a whole Saturday waiting around for these guys and still have a broken windshield. Would not recommend this joke of a company.

Made an appointment to get my windshield replaced and David was my technician. He was very friendly and professional. I had my sun shades attached to my windshield and he was able to detach them and surprised me when he reapplied them for me without my asking. Plus it’s been rainy and muddy and my driver side mat was filled with rocks and he vacuumed. He’s very thoughtful and takes care of his customers. Anytime I need glass repair I’ll be going back to David. 👍🏻👍🏻 Thank you!

Had a windshield repair, they did a great job just took about forty minutes longer than was told it would take.

The WORST experience I have ever had TRYING to get a windshield replacement! I DO NOT recommend them. I scheduled a mobile replacement with Safelite and a guy shows for a repair! I needed a replacement so I got on the phone again, had to get the insurance to approve it again and another guys shows for a REPAIR! Are you kidding me? Then after the THIRD time a repair guys shows up with no windshield, I said nope I refuse to use Safelite.

They turned a bad experience into a positive one. The back window they had was damaged and I had to return for another appt to get it replaced. They compensated me for my time which I really did appreciate and the staff was very professional.

** HORRIBLE** They came out twice and brought the wrong glass BOTH times!!! After that is was extremely difficult to get a finalized date on when they would actually get my glass in... needles to say, after TWO WEEKS with out having my glass fixed I went to a different provider and had it fixed the next day. Dont waste you time on this place

After installing the same windshield three different times because of a buzzing noise I would get at highway speeds, they finally came to the conclusion that it was my cowl. I asked them to fix what they had done to the cowl since there was no buzzing noise before they replaced my windshield. The manager accused me of trying to get something for free. All I wanted is for my vehicle to be in the same condition that they found it in, thats it. Save yourself a lot of time and take you business elsewhere, where it is appreciated.

Had one of their techs come out try repair star crack in windshield he broke it more. So called geico about it they wont help nor will safelite even though their tech said if break it more they are responsible now wanna charge me $379 for a windshield. Ill go to my old window replacement company Aag much better and cheaper. Never use safelite again. Or Geico.
