Had an amazing experience. Jose was wonderful and helped me get scheduled last minute. He explained what was going on so clearly and even went and got nick ( very knowledgeable guy) they were very friendly and explained things very well to me. They found something wrong with my Jeep 3 shops have missed over 5 times.

Shaun was really thorough and friendly! He provided me with a detailed listing of repairs that he recommends that I get done. They were very fast and did a really great job today I plan on going back very soon to get the repairs I need done.

My daughter was having trouble with her brakes and a engine light. The staff was helpful and promised to figure the situation out. Minutes later Maurice fixed the entire issue with a simple adjustment. I recommend this friendly business and will be using them on future issues.

I got an oil change done here a few days ago. Immediately after I took my car, I noticed it reeked of oil. Yesterday, I went with my gut and took my car in to another shop where they informed me that the cap for the oil tank was never put back on and was sitting below my windshield wipers. Thank god I wasn’t driving in the rain, but due to them not placing the cap back on, the inside of my hood was drenched in oil. I had to end up paying for more oil days after they worked on it due to a good amount coming out of my tank. I can’t imagine what would have even happened to my car if I hadn’t went with my gut and taken it to another shop. Will never recommend this place.

Brakemax always treats me well. They are always upfront about costs, repairs that need immediate attention, things to keep in mind for the future, and any other info that I should know. Their prices are reasonable and there are always coupons/specials that can help reduce costs. They offer financing that is reasonable for those in a pinch. I like their online appointment option as well. The shuttle service is also nice since its best to get my car worked on while at work. Theyre nice guys who do quality work. Ive been a customer for about 10 years and have never once regretted it. If you havent already, give these guys a try when your car next needs an oil change, fluid flush or any surprise issue your car may have.

Highly recommend the Marketplace location ONLY. I tried several times to get appointments at other two locations on SW part of town and neither called me back not did they respond to online appt requests. Their new phone system is a joke. The gentleman at Marketplace location got back to me immediately.

Extremely nice staff, but very unprofessional, let me explain. I go in for a simple oil change and they tell me the engine oil pan is going to have to be replaced and that itll be $500. I after went to another oil shop thats way more reputable, they mentioned nothing, and did everything just fine. I feel like breakmax tried getting more money out of me, tried to lie, but luckily they arent the only company around.

Took my truck in for alignment and got it back right before they closed only to see that it is worse then how it was when I took it in. This was on Saturday so I called back right away and was told to take it back Monday so now I will have to leave work early to take it in.

Had an uber inspection done. In and out, as a walk in with no appt, in less than 10 minutes on a Friday afternoon. Cant beat that.

I had some nosies coming from my SUV. So i went to brake max to check it out. So they told me that the lower control arms need to be changed and that they would change it for $2103.35. The second day i went to brakemaster and they told me that the control arms are bad however the noise is due to the sturts being worn out. And brake masters changed my control arms for $670.Is that serious from 2000 to 700 for the same service. Thats crazy. I have nothing against the company and the staff were so nice but when there is around $1200 difference in the price for the same service, I believe thats considered to be taking advantage of people specially those who do not have time to be looking around or have an emergency.BTW $2103 if i bring the parts. It would be $3000 if they provide the parts.I wish i knew how to post the picturs for the estimate from brake max and the repair cost at brake masters. I will post them as soon as i figure it out.

Very disappointed with this place.I took my vehicle to get an alignment I was told that they couldnt do my alignment because I needed some work like a ball joint and a tierod so they couldnt do it, they give me an estimate to do it but I decided to go somewhere else.So I had to pay $30 for the check and I was told once I come back even if I got the work done somewhere else that they would put that money towards my alignment. I came back a week later with everything replaced and fixed yet was told again that they couldnt do my alignment because I needed work done, and that it wasnt properly installed, I was charged an additional $30 again, just for them to tell me they couldnt do it but that they could fix it. At that point I told them I wanted to take my vehicle and I went somewhere else for the alignment, the alignment was done at the other business with no issues.

They just made a review of my car for free, and Erik gave a clear explanation about my car issues so i’m grateful with him . . .

Went to take my 2018 Chevy in .... 2018 ... two years old, I just bought it from the dealer a week before I took it in.... I got it back and it feels different. When I start the car, the engine makes a weird humming noise that it’s never made before.. they also showed me my brake pads and the rotor ... the rotor had a scratch on it that the manager (I believe) said was probably caused by a rock.. last I checked though metal on metal will scratch the rotor.. not a rock... so he was trying to tell me it would be I believe 170-180 to resurface them which you can get done for $30 at oreilys... told him no so they only charged me for the oil change .. I did get it discounted at a decent price cause I signed up for a card but I won’t be going back. The guy too that test drove my car after it was serviced, he was driving it a little too crazy... making hard turns... not satisfied you’re better off at pep boys or Firestone

Staff was very friendly and attentive. We bought a car through a rental car sales company and did not have the vehicle checked out first. The manager caught a very expensive issue and was able to get it fixed quick before any serious damage was done. This BrakeMax will be the only place I let work kn my vehicle!! Overall I came in for an oil change and on the receipt it said tire rotation was performed I noticed when I got home that the tires were not rotated due to I have 1 mix matched tire in the sam position it was installed 6 months ago kinda shady.

Charged me 800 for engion mounts and spark plugs but were nice people

In a pinch needed a oil change. Called the store at 4pm, asking if I could get there by 430pm if they could do a basic oil change. Worked out great, they even rotated the tires.

These people are scammers they are going to tell you that a very little problem with your car will cost thousands they tried to charge me $2800 for “a whole new ac system “ is what they said I needed but I took my Car to Arizona Auto Refrigeration and they got my car blowing cold ac and it was small problem to fix it only cost me $87.52 so please don’t waste your time with Brakemax

Wow! Very new location near Costco at Tucson Marketplace helped me with an oil change and check-up. Superior customer service got me in and out fast so I could meet other commitments for the day. Lots of parking and comfortable waiting room. Reasonable rates and an array of car care services. I would go again and recommend this location to my friends.

Service preformed as requested, however, carpet on driver side was left with oily, greasy footprints which required extensive scrubbing to clean.

They are friendly got me in did a Assessment and did two repairs in two hours.

The team was prompt to answer my question and although I didnt get the service I needed it was still very informative.

This place was very bad went in for a oil change that was suppose to be free cause I had a coupon ended up paying 100 and then they did a whole tire rotation and put in a clean air filter when I left my car was making a noise that was not before and went back in they checked it and said sorry we must of got dust or dirt when we changed it. Then a couple of days later I went to Phoenix and on my way back my tire came completely off and lucky I was able to control the car. I went to go complain to them and of course they said they would review the video and get back to me. And of course they didn’t so I went back 3 days later and luckily the general manager was there even though it wasent any better cause he was not very professional well the 2nd one cause there was 2. They went out to check my car and said it wasent their fault and they refused to fix it. And refused to show me the video’s

This Brake Max overcharged me for an oil change almost $100. Did not give me a discount for using my Brake Max card. Charged me for a new tire that was quoted for $70; I said I did not want it; but yet they ran my card without my authorization and charged me $130.96. I have a call in with the corporate office. Hope to hear from them on Monday. This was without a doubt the worse experience I have ever had for any auto service.

Stopped in mid day without an appointment for an alignment and oil change. Even though they were busy front desk was friendly, took their time with me. They did an amazing job on my car. Cant recommend them enough!

I do not recommend this place I paid to have my front breaks pad and rotors done, my break are still making noise they told me that its my back break . I hear it coming from the front I am not pleased with there job on my breaks.

Tried to charge me for diagnosis on my truck but couldnt tell me what was actually the problem

I dropped my vehicle off at 11am for an oil change and to have my A/C looked at which the menu says $30 I explained that I was told by a friend it might be the compressor or the relay switch thats causing it to not blow cold. They flush my system and refilled it without calling me charged me $195 to tell me my compressor was bad and that I didnt have enough fluid to check the compressor first. They completely forgot to mark my oil change. I wasnt able to pick my car up until 230 and they wanted to charge another $35 to do the oil change right then if I had time since they forgot to mark it and thats the main reason I took my car in was for the oil change. The manager did do my oil change for free after complaining but they messed up my shield underneath my car that keeps rocks and crop from bouncing up into my engine compartment. Out of that 195 that they charged only 35 was for fluid and disposal 115 on it was for labor. Highway robbery. I highly recommend finding somewhere else to have your work done.

I made an appt for 10:30. They didn’t even start on my car until after 1:00 I was the very last customer of the day. Why make an appt if I had to wait literally all day?

Made an appointment and arrived only to be told I was not on the schedule. I made an appointment for the following day and waited 2 and 1/2 hours and returned to find the vehicle unmoved. Thats not how appointments are supposed to work. I would not give any stars but it wont post that way.now have an appointment with a small local shop.

I was going to get my tire fixed at Discount Tire however they were going to take an hour and a half to take care of us. So I decided to go to Brake Max and it was the best decision I could of made there was no wait time. I was able to get new tires with a similar warranty like Discount Tires and in the same place I got an alignment and the brakes fixed. It was all taken care of in one place and they gave me discounts. In my case the tires were cheaper than at DT. They also offer a credit card with 6 mths free interest for those unexpected car problems. The guys were very courteous and vary very good customer service. They are very recommended.

Had an issue with a screw in the tire that could not be fixed. James offered to swap my spare rather than me do it myself. That led me to return to them to buy the replacement tire. Small issue with a wheel weight on new tire. James and staff corrected it quickly.These guys add Customer and Service, which has somehow been lost in the current business ideology.Would definitely recommend them for your tire and service needs.
