These folks are the best. I walked in off the street with a difficult problem and they took interest right away, and followed through to the end. Robert Perkins is a wizard. I did my comparison shopping when it came down to install time, and the prices were extremely reasonable. The quality of the installation is second to none. Fast response when I had questions, and fair treatment throughout. I will not hesitate to recommend Stereo Pad to anyone, and will surely use them again in the future.

These guys are absolutely amazing! I originally went in to get a little more bass out of my car and got a 10” sub/amp combo. I’m super pleased with that purchase and came back today and ended up buying a new deck and a pair of 6x9’s. Jason is super honest and doesn’t push to make a sale. This is the ONLY place I will come for car audio equipment for any of my cars current or in the future! Juice (one of the installers) installed my deck and 6x9’s and then tuned my deck and my car sounds awesome!Edit 7/30/2021: I’ve now had a 12” sub and a 500w amp installed and all of my cabin speakers have been replaced and I’ve had sound deadening added as well. My car sounds phenomenal now. The amazing and unexpected thing about Jason is that he will give you some credit for recently purchased equipment if you change your mind and want more sound than what you originally decided to pay for to get installed.

Jason and his team are the greatest! I have had them install several systems, so this is not just a review on one experience. Every time they did an outstanding job. The last time they were retrofitting a vintage vehicle with updated technology. They ran into problems. That often happens with retrofits, because they are complicated. They went the extra mile and got it done, and done well. Add to that their fair prices, outstanding work ethic, and friendly service.

I came back today and got a new Viper car alarm here. The alarm is loud as heck. The shock sensor works very well and now my 96 Accord has remote start. Jason was awesome with his recommendation of this alarm, gave me a great deal on it and I couldn’t be happier with this car alarm. Robert was also great with the installation taking only about an hour time and explanation of how to use the alarm’s features was well explained.

These guys did a fantastic job hooking my old truck up with a great audio system. Four speakers, amp and sub, delivered quicker, friendlier, and more cost effectively than I expected. Id give them repeat business in a heartbeat and you should work with them, too.

I love this place and how nice the guys are. I got a subwoofer for my girlfriend and they took care of her right away, showed her how to use it and did a super clean job. She is still happy to this day and that was back in December or January. They are very helpful. I had a lot of questions and the owner was so patient with me (I think that was the owner I talked to). He helped me understand which subwoofer would be a good fit for her and the price was perfect. I will definitely be going back for all stereosound and light installations that I need. Ive also had stereo questions because Ive though of upgraded mine and they were very knowledgeable.

Recently wrote two bad reviews and thought of somewhere I could write a good review. My experience with Jason at Stereo Pad was very good. I had he and Robert do a retro install in a Jeep grand wagoner. They put in a sub, amp and head unit. All came out very good and it plays as good as it looks. I recommend a Stereo Pad for price, quality and selection. The install was good too.

Great experience. I talked with the owner and told him I wanted a quality system and didn’t mind paying for quality. Still gave me a affordable quote and went the extra mile tuning my radio and system. He told me exactly what would give me the bass I wanted and it blew me away. They had be an appointment in two days for installation and it only took them 4 hours. Great service and professionalism. THE go to car audio place in Tucson!! Go here first, not last like I did.Needed an amp/sub for my Honda Accord. Audio Express = $950 for 10 JL amp/sub installed. Specialists = $1200 for same JL amp/sub installed.Went to Stereo Pad and bought a 10 Phoenix Gold amp/sub for $336 INSTALLED. I know its not JL but for ⅔ the price it was a no-brainer. Professionally installed in 2hrs. Very happy and it sounds great.

Custom Auto Sound is the worst ever if i would have known how it was i would have never came to this stereo place. I bought two touch screens with cameras in the back one for me and my wife. On my wifes car the stereo would not turn on after a month so i called tried to make an appointment and he was rude and said i couldnt i would just have to go in and see if he was not busy. He would not work with my schedule. It took like another month for him to replace my wifes stereo. That stereo worked for a couple months and now it does not work ones again. Now my stereo that I got dose not work now it would be useless to go and get another one because it will probably take another month i would rather go to a different stereo place.

This shop is unlike many car audio shops in that it is staffed with people that are actually helpful. Its rare, but much appreciated, to be told useful information. I dont need to know what Pioneers latest head unit has as far as features go if all I am looking for is an amp install. Fast, efficient, informative retail and service.

I needed two speakers for my 2007 Nissan Armada. They had me out in about an hour and the Bose system sounds brand new. I recommend them.

Stopped by to purchase a system for my car during business hours the door was lock. Could see multiple people in the back. Called and knocked but got no response. Waited about 5 mins to see if maybe they would assist but nope. No customer service at all. While I was there two others also came but got no service as well.

Jason and his team are awesome! - Stereo Pad met all preferred tweaks and adjustments that I requested and it was done professionally and on schedule. Jason hooked me up with good deals in installing car stereo, backup camera and driving lights - Im so happy with the deal that I end up buying a couple more multimedia stereo receivers and backup cameras for my other two vehicles. They even hooked up Father by making special setup for his backup camera and replacing both of his vehicles headliner (a service that I didnt know at the time they also provide) and the team went above and beyond on behalf of my fathers old but with sentimental value vehicles. Start to finish, an absolutely great and professional experience!I bought a remote starter and one of my friends who is great with cars said that he would help me install it. After two evenings and seven hours of work invested, he could not get the remote start system to work. Left with a mess on my hands, I sheepishly went to Custom Auto Sound by Stereo Pad to figure out what it would take to get my system up and running.I walked in the door expecting to get a lecture on what a bad idea it was and how it was a big mistake and how it was going to cost all kinds of extra money. Instead I was greeted with a friendly smile and a chuckle. The owner was very understanding and didnt make me feel like a fool for our failed attempt at self installation.I explained that I had a limited budget and that the installation was causing my battery to be drained to the point my car wouldnt start so a fix was urgent. We agreed on a fair price and they got to work. What impressed me most is even when the scope of the job was larger than expected, he kept his word and didnt charge me a penny more! Now the remote starter is in and functioning perfectly.I will definitely be coming back whenever I have any installation needs for my vehicles. Staff was friendly and professional. All of their staff was approachable and knowledgeable about the products they were selling. This is the second time that I have purchased and had them install a product. I was satisfied the first time and second time the product was installed. Also very satisfied with the work done and the warrwent they gave me. If I had to recommend an audio shop in town it would be this one. Very happy with both the product, install and staff at this shop.

If you have all the time in the world, go there. Jason the owner acts like he has a ton of customers and will make you practically beg for an appointment. THEN, he will give you a set time and be prepared to wait ALL DAY!!He has no business ethics. He had us take in my car to install speakers at 9 AM . At 1:30 PM I went in to check on my car. The car was still in the front parking lot, unlocked and my new speakers on the seat. he blamed me for that and said he was not liable. Once he gets my car keys he is. I got my car back at 4:30 PM!! He also sold my sister a car alarm that will disable the motor in case of a theft. Then he gave her a BS story saying her car is equipped with a non-theft feature. WHY did he sell her a Alarm?!! Women take your husband, brother or homeless so you will not get crappy service like us.

Pretty good shop, got my speakers installed for a great price and it was done pretty quickly. Im very happy with my new speakers.Couple issues though: I got home and realized my door cables broke on both sides of my coupe from the install, so I had to open my doors using the exterior handles while inside the car. No problem - they paid for and installed brand new door cables just a few days after, and all was good. Im sure they broke because they were old. It would have been nice for them to inspect my doors before sending me out so I was at least aware, but all is well now.Second issue: a few days after the install, I noticed there was a rip in my window tint, right above where one of the new decklid speakers was installed. Im going to guess the installer accidentally did that, but Ill never know for sure. Its not that expensive to get the window retinted, so Im not going to bother pursuing the shop again.Just make sure to thoroughly inspect your car before leaving.

I bought my very first stereo from them back in 1998. Im still a repeat customer because they treat me like a person and not a paycheck. Took the time to discuss the multiple issues I was having with devices in my car (most prominently: BlueTooth, and Auxillary connections as separate issues), and helped me find the most reasonable solution with a minimum of time and cost. Able to give honest descriptions and comparisons of all their products and services. Spent further time walking me through use of a new product I purchased (after the hassle-free installation). Would very highly recommend for any in-car repair or purchase.

Brought in a double din head unit that I bought online. They only charge $35 to install a din unit and an extra $15 for double din. This is a great deal as I priced Audio Express who wanted $75, and The Specialists who wanted $100! Went in and only waited 40 mins. Once done the technician even sat and ran me by a lot of the features and hooked up my phones Bluetooth to it. Good stuff!

I took my car here and so far so good, the quality of work appears to be worth every penny.

Owner is an asshat. Completely ruined my car after spending $2500 here plus another $1000 dollars for the damages done to my vehicle. I WILL NEVER BRING ANOTHER VEHICLE HERE EVER. I took my car in to get front and back speakers, tweeters, touch screen deck, a sub, amp and crossover. Pretty much a full setup. Upon installation everything was working fine. The owner told me it would take the subwoofer a week or two to set in and to come back if I needed any more *juice*. So about a week went by and my subwoofer actually blew out.(L7 Kicker) I went back thinking I was screwed and it took him looking it up in a book to see when I bought it for him to install another one. So I went out back and they had an installer swap it out in about 30 minutes. It was all very shady if you ask me but I got it fixed and was back on the road. All is well, right? Wrong. So about a month goes by, Im driving down the road and my car dies without warning. Everything on the dash dropped out and went to zero or not reading and my car wouldnt accelerate. At the time in total now it has been about 2 months since my purchase and install. After taking my car in to find out my alternator was shot from there being too much power pulled from it, I was quite annoyed. So I contacted the owner to see where we could take it from here. He was very rude and even laughed while saying there is no way it could have been from something they had done. He suggested that my car was old (2003) and the starter side of the alternator could have been the problem. I got in a conference call with the mechanic and the owner and had him(mechanic) explain that the only possible reason my car failed was an overloaded pull of power from the alternator. Needless to say the owner didnt want to own up to his negligence and ended up costing me a new alternator. As much as Id like to take them to small claims court and waste more of my time it is not worth it so I will leave this here as a warning to everyone reading. I came here as a referral from a buddy of mine and Ive never been so disappointed in the customer service or behavior of a owner. He acted like an absolute child. Oh, and whatever black gooey substance they used to seal the speaker or seal my door constantly leaks out of the side of the door. Leaving a black tar like substance in my car. Needless to say this was a nightmare of an experience and I dont wish this upon anybody. I am writing this review now about a year or so after all this took place and I still cant even drive by this place without my blood boiling. Everyone learn from my mistake and please avoid this place at all cost.Oh I forgot to add, his argument and reasoning in which it couldnt have been his guys was why didnt it fail right away? Hmm, because it took a month and a half of driving it to melt away the electrical wiring and completely kill my alternator. Genius.$3500 later and Im out an alternator and have yet to hook the system back up. If you want to waste your time and money, be disrespected and undervalued as a customer I highly suggest you go here. Theyll do a great job at making you feel worthless and blindly robbing you for whatever youre willing to shell out. Considering they make you pay for the work before its even been done. This review would not be here if there would have been a motion to make things right or a simple apology but if you value your vehicle take your car any place but here.

Terrible experience, all their products are marked up at least 50-75%. When confronted about it the owner simply shrugged his shoulders. Obviously no intention to please or make things right with their customers. Tried to upsell me, claiming I NEEDED certain parts even though it worked without them. Just take a look at walmart, they carry the same products at 50% the price.

Just had a amp installed here no more than 3 weeks ago and they told my gf they didnt install and they will charge her to remount it crazy

Initially went to Audio Express thinking theyd be a good place... Needless to say after they kept my truck overnight and half the next day and didnt even touch it I was pissed especially considering the price they quoted went from 500 to 950 to 1180 to 1350 and they hadnt even started...They also used my $4000 custom sub box as a shop table (noticed when I went back to get my truck)I picked up my truck and called Jason at Custom Auto Sound and he was courteous and professional from the first second. Brought him the truck and system and his expertise was immediately evident. They scheduled me for the coming Monday and said it would take 2-3 days, not terrible considering the amount of work. They quoted me at $700-900 again not bad.A few hours after dropping off the truck Jason called and let me know that alterations were needed to make stuff fit... Again he called me to let me know that they were going to build a custom box to house my battery, I checked that this would keep us in our price and he said yes.Today (day 2) Jason called to say the installation was complete. I drove up and again was greeted professionally and he kept the shop open after hours since I had to come up from green valley. Immediately after hooking up my phone and hitting play the bass pounded like a fleet of jackhammers in my chest... The workmanship was superior.....We are back and just had an inverter installed in an new motorhome and we are coming back to have a Trik-L-Start installed on the truck battery ...
