This place is so much more than just a coffee shop. They have amazing food, pastries and of course, coffee! The same gentleman has helped me every time at the drive thru and he is so friendly and knowledgeable on their menu. Im so happy we gave this place a chance and have made it our new go to for food on the go and delicious drinks!

We hit the drive-thru every Sunday morning. Always excellent, quick service and delicious food. It only took a couple visits for Jonathan to remember us and our order. Hes always down to chat and ask about the kids, and the rest of the staff is wonderful and friendly as well. We love this place!

Good times sitting in with my friends and playing some great jazz. Im looking forward to playing there again.

Great service! Able to bring our German Shepard on the patio. Menu had a little of everything. We had a smoothie, chocolate chip muffin, bagel and Mediterranean chicken tacos. It was all good. They even brought out a treat for Brody!

Had a tasty cobb salad and pesto salmon sandwich. We were in about 8 pm and most of the customers were singles with laptops. Staff was friendly.

Name is misleading....its got a lot more to offer than coffee. Food! Good portions and delish. Reasonably priced for quantity and quality. I recommend the Pesto Salmon Sandwich, the Grilled Mushroom Burger, and the Big Philly. Yumness. Like, really really surprisingly good. Top contender for my favorite restaurant overall. In fact, I cant think of another restaurant right now that I would say is my favorite. I think therefore that this one is it. Congrats Coffee X Change....you da tastiest!

The manager was a complete jerk, we entered the coffee shop got settled and he came over and shoved a menu in our face. We said we needed a minute and he came back 30 seconds later saying that we need to leave right now. If I could give a lower review I would have. My friends and I thought he was a creep because he kept staring at the ladies in our group. Don’t give him business until he is fired. He did not have a name tag or I would give a name. So we left and went to a Starbucks which was a very friendly place.

Poor service. I’m a proud local that enjoys spending my hard earned money at local spots and coffee exchange was one of them until they showed their true colors. I ordered a 9$ breakfast burrito that was soggy on the spot. The description stated it included hash browns in it. There was not a single shred of potato in it and when I called because I was under the impression I received the wrong order; the guy who took my order assured me it had potatoes in it when it clearly did not. Instead it had mushrooms, onions, bell peepers and spinach, on top of it being super soggy and not edible. He didn’t apologize or offer to make me another at a later time. Plainly trying to make me feel bad or ashamed for calling and complaining about the food I received. I’ve read a few other reviews on another site with customers with similar situations. Money hungry and not a care in the world for good customer service.

Decent flavors and good menu. Sandwiches can be a bit greasy, and drinks are very sweet- however not huge problems and can be fixed with directions to the servers. Atmosphere is nice, with people working on laptops and paintings on walls.

I have tried 3 different kinds of drinks from them and they taste like water. Such expressive coffee for it to taste like water. Not worth the money.

Horrible coffee. Rude service. Owners son tried to bully me into buying a Perrier in a tiny bottle with my meal when I just wanted a club soda from the tap and then implied I wanted it for free. Who needs this? Virtually every coffee house in Tucson is better in every way.

Nice people work at CoffeeXchange. However the noise is so loud inside that it is impossible to hear your friend across the table from you speak. This is the second time Ive tried to have a meeting in the back room to know avail. Weve decided next time to have a meeting someplace else. too bad.

The Cubano with pickles is pretty tasty. If you want a spicier version, you can get the jalapenos. But if you want the traditional version, you can get the pickles. I like the pickles, the mustard is tasty too!

I ordered the small vanilla extreme espresso with whipped cream or whatever and I was surprised how good it tasted. I enjoyed it for someone who does not like coffee, my only complaint with it was that it was very liquidy... like not blended. Not sure if it is supposed to be like that, but it wasnt a deal breaker.My boyfriend got a large iced caramel mochiato and threw it away after the first sip because he said it tasted like he took a hand full of dirt and tried to drink it. Despite finding his drink to be disgusting, he is optimistic that with such a large menu that there is something he will like.Willing to give it another try.

Everyone at the office has become a regular X Changer. The service at this location is amazing. Jonathan and the staff at the drive through learned my name and order after my second visit, which makes you feel like a regular. Highly recommend you make the switch and get your coffee local.

Such a quaint little coffee house- so simple and yet so comfy. The beverages are fantastic every time. The food is great. The staff is friendly and so helpful.

Snicker xtreme frozen drink really taste like a snicker candy made with almond milk cant be beat. The staff super friendly and you can tell when everyone is being greeted by their first name, everything done on site no package salads or sandwich all handmade. The locals know but if you dont, you need something copied and sent right away this is the place to stop get your drink and go thanks for a nice visit.

Enjoyable coffee and baked goods, but the jump into food could use some improvement.Im not saying the food bad, far from it. The sandwiches here are actually pretty good! The problem is the pricing for what you get. The price of a sandwich here gets you... just a sandwich. At many other local places it wouldnt be uncommon to expect a side and drink for the same price. At least hit me with a bag of chips.This is compounded by the fact that sandwiches are served to one side on oval plates meaning the majority of your plate is empty! (Pic attached for reference)The atmosphere is nice, the outdoor seating is also pretty great, but really it still feels more like just a coffee hangout than a place to go for lunch.

Been here on multiple occasions visiting Tucson. The first time I had a much better experience. Each time I ordered a mocha, they’ve progressively gotten sweeter and sweeter. The last I had was so sweet it tasted of chocolates milk, not for my liking sorry. I can’t comment on the baked goods. Black coffee was/is good, fair trade. Service is always super, tip high here they are all students.

Their chai is amazing!! So much better than Starbucks, and they have super fast service too. Also a great lunch menu - I love their tuna salad and turkey bacon ranch melt 😋

Lets just say they need to scrub it a lot more.

I have been going to this east side shop for years, and they always remember my name and mostly what I order (though I like to mix it up to confuse people). ;) Theyre open late, nice patio for distancing and comfortable seating inside with a rotating selection of art. Family and locally owned.

Love this place for meeting up with people over a delicious drink and dessert. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Of course, the fact that the manager knows all of his customers by name makes this place a great place to visit.

Terrible. The manager was too busy to help me with the printer service and was completely disinterested in my concerns. The owner never wouldve treated a customer this way, so its surprising he would put such a careless person in charge of customer service. I didnt even want to stay and enjoy a meal after that experience.

Not sure if they have a min charge to use a credit card but they charged me $5 for a med Iced Coffee. If they do have a min charge it’s not clearly highlighted and if not, $5 for a med iced coffee is insane.

This is a favorite place for me to go either with someone or even alone.The pros:- Fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly staff.- Clean and welcoming environment with an open/airy and light atmosphere that makes it easy to sit for hours and feel at ease.- Food options are delicious, high quality, and unique for a coffee shop menu (the flavor and recipes are like youre at a restaurant). The beverage and bakery selections are also among my favorite to choose from.- Excellent location and hours.- Drive-thru option!- Many outlets throughout the place to plug in: this is AMAZING for students and professionals who enjoy working out of the house.Cons:None. You should totally go to this place often :).

This may be my new favorite coffee shop in Arizona. I came down to Tucson for the weekend to visit with some friends. Understandably, most restaurants and coffee shops were still closed due to the pandemic, but Coffee X Change was open for take out and dine in.I ordered a breakfast burrito and black coffee, both of which were delicious. The prices were lower than I expected and the staff were extremely friendly. They werent obnoxiously friendly like Dutch Bros, but just very personable and seemed to be genuinely interested in meaningful conversation while I was ordering.Plenty of room to work independently or meet with friends as well a a large patio area. The parking lot seems extremely small due to the location, but there are plenty of creative places to park.

Better carry cash for this place as their card machine never seems to work, and they wont tell you till youve waited in the drive-thru for 15 minutes.

I got a turkey sandwich with cheddar cheese and white bread with jalapeños chips on the side and it was really good. All the food was fresh and service was really quick.

Breakfast is AMAZING! I call in my order before I leave for work and its ready to go in the drive thru! Coffee is delicious as well!!!

We LOVE this place! They have long hours so we can come for breakfast, lunch, or late night coffee. The coffee here is some of my favorite in Tucson, and they offer non dairy options. I usually order vegetarian food here, as well. They also sell fresh bread and whole coffee beans to take home.The staff is always really nice, and they have great outdoor seating; its dog friendly to sit outside, too!

I asked for an extra shot and I literally got a chocolate smoothie. Paid 6+ dollars for that??? The chocolate smoothie had a good flavor tho just wished it had the espresso shots I’d asked for.

Colitis limits my food choices. Coffee XChange didnt flinch when I asked for the Hummus, Pita plate with Grilled salmon. Delicious. The Hummus is homemade. Ill be back.

Coffee X Change has great coffee as one would expect. We also enjoy their breakfast burritos. Service is friendly. However, on our visit today, we chose to take our food to go. We had hoped to dine in on the patio. However, there was no attempt to maintain social distancing; for example limiting seating space. Customers were crowding into the patio. I was also disappointed that no staff were wearing masks or gloves. For the foreseeable future, I will either use the drive thru, or take my business elsewhere.

Ive been there twice now with someone else. Therefore I tasted four drinks and four different appetizers. All of these were great. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for chit chat. The staff is very friendly and professional. They also displayed local artists which makes the visit interesting and more enjoyable. The last time I was there I had a frozen drink. Very yummy...as was the Texas Breakfast. It was a grilled cheese sandwich with a fried egg and thick crispy bacon. I cant wait to go back!

Coffee exchange is my new favorite spot. Been going there since 2nd quarter of 2020 and the staff is friendly, they even remember me and what want. The location is nice, plus the coffee is good and I dont need a bunch of sugar to get it just right!!!

Friend brought some coffee from here over to my place....she commented that it tasted watered down and asked me what I thought. Said it was the 2nd or 3rd time shes gotten weak, water downed tasting coffee from here. I tasted mine and it tasted like watered down cream with a tad of coffee taste. HORRIBLE. It also seemed like if there was coffee in the cup (which there was suppose to be!), it was stale (a day old?) and watered down, warmed up and cream put in.I wont be giving them my business and I doubt my friend and her family will move forward with going there any more either.Bring on a GOOD cup of coffee!

This place beats out Starbucks 10 out of 10 times. The owner, Jonathan, is friendly, funny, and remembers his customers. The food and the coffee is excellent to say the least, and Jonathan prides himself on the quality of it. Id come here twice a day if I could afford it! Awesome spot.

Drive thru option is helpful. Indoor area is much larger than I thought and had plenty of table room. They have a lot of coffee and tea options. A list of their flavors are set at the counter which is really helpful. Service was great, barista brought my coffee out to me, but it also wasnt very busy when I went. They have food as well, snacks and sandwiches. If you need a place to spend some time working on something, this is it.They have free wifi and also have a printer if you need one.

My partner and I saw the patio coming back from a bicycle ride down Redington, forgot our locks and figured spending $14 on 2 mediocre drinks would warrant us sitting with our bikes on their completely empty patio but the guy serving us said his “boss doesn’t really like that”. Won’t be coming back here again.

Best coffee shop in Tucson! Clean store, Delicious Drinks and food. They serve so much more than coffee. They have a full menu of great breakfast and lunch salads, sandwiches, pastries, desserts, and more. Friendly staff. WiFi available and unlike most coffee shops this place is Huge you have plenty of space to sit and hang out with friends or your pets! They even have water bowls and milk bones for you dog if you bring your fur babies to join you on the patio. If you haven’t been here yet you have to check them out. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Great coffee and food, bonus points for clean, chill atmosphere and friendly, unobtrusive staff. Well priced too, $10.71 for a tasty bagel with lox. Connected to the community, lots of people roll through. If youre coming from the west, do everyone a favor and dont hang a U turn at Indian Ridge. Its hard to see oncoming traffic and annoys the traffic turning right onto TV (they dont expect a U). The next left turn is better :)

The owners are very nice and are Persian. My husband was able to practice Farsi with them. They do have a drive through if you don’t have time to sit inside. The ice blended matcha green tea with oat milk tastes like ice cream. Highly recommend!

This place is great! I just found out they have really good food options through the drive-through. I got a Mediterranean salad and it was way better than I expected. It was even better than most sit down restaurant salads. If you want a quick healthy option, I highly recommend coffee x change.

This is such a great place - friendly staff, bright atmosphere, and a huge coffee/food menu to delight any palate. I’ve been partial to the Bulletproof coffee (where else can you get that, unless you painstakingly make it at home) - but truly everything I’ve ever had here is amazing and cooked to order. The owners are lovely, and I don’t think I’ve ever been when Jonathan isn’t here checking on tables, ringing orders, operating drive-thru, or bussing. This is definitely a local business to support. I know I will!

Not very much has changed over the years since I managed this location in early 2000 to late 2002. The drinks are still consistent, bear claw is delicious, drive thru is still backed up and dining room is packed. The signs that business is well. One of the best locally owned coffee shops Ive visited from coast to coast. Maybe its the scenery? Maybe its the coffee.

Went there for a simple cafe mocha. Had a nice short conversation with the manager for the night, who was making the drinks. Very pleasant, good coffee, and good WiFi!

I love Coffee Xchange! They have great coffee that they roast themselves, and over the years, theyve changed and added to what they offer for coffee drinks. I highly recommend the ice blended drinks. They are very yummy. They used to have more locations, but Im happy that they are still in Tucson. Great food bites are offered, too.

We love Coffee Exchange! Best Iced Americanos in town! My girlfriends drive there almost every day to see Jonathon - as soon as he hears their voices on the drive through speaker he knows their order. I generally order an Iced Mocha and when he sees or hears me with them, he knows to add it. Delicious Bear Claws, cheese danishes and more!

My favorite coffee. The blended mocah is fantastic and you can ask for skim milk to reduce calories. I go out of the way to come here for the hummus plate. Its the perfect vegetarian dish. Best hummus in town! I recommend calling ahead if you are ordering dinner and are in a hurry because they can be busy and they seem to make everything fresh. Yumm

My favorite coffee shop! Why? Because its 24hrs! Awesome for those who work swing or graveyard shifts who would like coffee or get work done in the wee hours of the morning. Lots of seating. Power plugs are a bit hard to find but still a very good place. Typical younger crowd hangout so bring some earbuds and music if you dont want hear all the craziness. Totally recommend to anyone!
