Been several times and will go back. Great coffee drinks carefully prepared by the owners themselves. Its local, homey, unpretentious, and genuinely pleasant and relaxing. Plus its next to Bookmans, a perfect pairing.
A very nice local coffee shop.Staff are friendly. Several traditional espresso selections and a few creative seasonal options. Bakery items are limited, but fresh and tasty.
This coffee shop os amazing. Everything inside makes you fall in love right away. I tried for the first time and I cannot believe how cute this place is. I think it will be my favorite from now on and I will tell all my friends about it.I loved the couches on the corner and the book shelves especially.
Excellent coffee......created with knowledge & care. . ..not just thrown together like at chain coffee places.
Truly the best coffee i’ve ever had. love the staff and love the art
We stopped in for a coffee during a bike ride on the loop. I had a hot mocha and my wife had an iced chai latte. Both drinks were very good. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. service was outstanding. He put a lot of personal attention in to making our drinks just right. Highly recommend and we will be back.
Great service and delicious chai drink! Keep up the good work.
My girlfriend and I have been frequenting this fine establishment since August and it was one of the best things weve ever done! The husband (Aaron) and wife (Amy) duo always welcome us in with a genuine smile and great service. The drinks are amazing and I feel safe as a patron as theyre constantly cleaning tables after guests leave. They have installed plexiglass borders and wash their hands before and after everything they do (I cant speak on the same for other coffee shops). Aaron takes pride in his craft in dialing in each shot to ensure quality. I take pride in supporting a locally owned business almost every day! This place is a great way to start your morning
I enjoyed the tea of the day, ginger peach. I loved the super sized ice cubes.
Small but nice little coffee shop in strip mall. I had a small hot latte that was excellent. Also a blueberry scone that was good. Locally made. Prices just a touch higher than Starbucks, but in line with other gourmet shops. Only down side was the seating. Just generic table and chairs with a couple loveseats in the rear. Dampens the atmosphere one would expect in this type of coffee shop. Perhaps if business is good they’ll upgrade at some point.
I love small, local coffee shops and this one is close to home, so a bonus for me! The shop has plenty of room, the staff is friendly and the drinks are great! I also like that it is next to Bookmans so I can grab a cup and then find a book or vice versa!
Quaint and cozy. Despite only being open three months this place already has a lot of regulars. The coffee is great and the atmosphere is mellow and simplistic. As a student I certainly will be stopping by Crema often. The staff is friendly and informative. While sparsely decorated the consignment art they have adorning the walls is beautiful and tasteful. My first experience was early on a Monday morning and it was delightful to slowly wake up. Closest feeling to your own cup of coffee in your own kitchen. Love this place! ****The shop has a deal with Bookmans where you can get a discount at Bookmans if you bring your receipt from Crema and visa versa****
Great coffee but mid morning and no breakfast/pastry choices! Disappointing!
I am a latte connoisseur, and I tried all the fancy coffee shops on my trip to Tucson. Crema was hands down the best in Tucson and one of the best lattes Ive ever had anywhere. They use high quality bean and take pride in the process of making a wonderful cup of coffee.
Pay no attention to the negative Nancy posting negative comments, hes probably a Starbucks Gold member anyway. This little coffee shop is our favorite! Locally owned, the owners are awesome, and the drinks excellent! The cold brew coffee is STRONG folks, so beware.
Always amazing here. Simple.perfect coffee. Always recommend.
BEST decaf americano I’ve ever had!!
This place is locally owned. Owner has been there every time Ive gone. The Chai is to die for. Hell ask you if you want it sweet or spicy because he has two different kinds. Me being the pain in the a** I am asked for half and half and oh man is it tasty. He also has soy and almond milk for us lactose causes extreme pain people. I will be back! Also if you need some reasonably-priced local art, check out the west facing wall and support a local artist while supporting your local coffee shop.
Love this place, great espresso and coffee. Enhanced safety with plastic walls in place to protect the workers and you!
Great Espresso, quiet study and work environment, the friendliest owners that make you feel known and appreciated, and a expansive menu that is updated to constantly help you expand your coffee horizons. A must for locals and a no brainer for passersby heading down I-10 who want the convenience of proximity to the interstate but want to drink a local cup.
Excellent exhibit of local artists works for sale. And, excellent coffee drinks.
Great iced chai and gallery of local artists.
Didnt make my drink right. But what do I expect
(As of Jan 2021) the staff don’t wear masks and they don’t enforce mask wearing for the customers so none of the regulars wear masks either! The staff are friendly but I can’t respect a place that doesn’t care about public health while AZ literally has the highest number of COVID cases per capita...
Astounding.I walked in to Crema Coffee this morning with low expectations, having in the past few months been traveling in California and had no luck with coffee shops. One of them even being their own roasting company. But its okay, not everyone is on the ball all the time. But not Crema Coffee, they were on the ball like nobodys business.I ordered a shot of espresso and a cortado. The staff was more than happy to take my order and I was maybe a little too excited when I saw what coffee they were serving (Mexico, Chiapas San Carlos). Not only do they get their coffee roasted locally by Exo Coffee they prepare a delicious espresso. It had a thick crema, very smooth and creamy, with a bit of a tartness like grapefruit. Very delicious.I hope to be back very soon, thanks again to the amazing Baristas!!!
Great place, great environment, and even better owners. Coffee is roasted at EXO downtown and does very well on espresso here. Service has only been wonderful. Especially during these times I recommend supporting local. Come hangout or get coffee to-go. Id love to see this business grow.
Very very good iced latte!
Came in on a weds. certainly worth a return visit. it has a good feel to it. feeling here is similar to a cafe in san jose i liked.
Awesome coffee shop! Down to earth and home feel. Great quality espresso and cold brew! Even have good tea options if you are not into coffee. Couches and seating available along with the option to take your purchases to go or relax there with music and available books. Would definitely recommend supporting this wonderful local family owned coffee spot!
Staff was very friendly and help us us pick out menu items. Coffee was delicious!
Best coffee place in town and the pumpkin spice latte is delicious. Such a cozy spot to unwind.
We tried out Crema today for the Ina Block Party. BLOWN AWAY!!!! The coffee was amazing! Me and my husband got the vanilla latte. One hot and one iced. Very impressed with the taste and quality of the coffee. The best coffee we have had in Tucson!! Equally impressed with the owners too. The woman working the front was very sweet and sold me on the oat milk for my latte. Was delicious! The gentleman making the coffee knew his stuff and was very nice as well. We will definitely be returning! My husband even wants me to go back tomorrow morning 😊
Great 3rd place away from home and work
Good coffee, great service
Very nice coffee shop. It was quiet and relaxing on this Saturday morning. Staff are friendly. Pricing is reasonable. Not much in munchies, but the coffee selections were very good.I tend to go to Starbucks, but its nice to stop in at independent shops, now and then. This is a very good option.
My hubby and I are so glad we recently discovered Crema! Aaron and Amy are awesome. Aaron really takes his time crafting the perfect cup of coffee.
Cold Brew did not disappoint! Potent and smooth...just like I like it. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. My kids even picked up on the welcoming, relaxed vibe. Well definitely be back!
This coffee shop is the best in Tucson. It has great ambience, and our coffees are always perfect. Its always spotless, tooThe owner is so nice and kind.
Wonderful coffee, convenient location, fast & friendly service, with a consistent product. My husband and I like the coffee so much, we started buying my whole beans here for our home espresso machine. Would choose to go to Crema over any chain shop!
ABSOLUTE FAVORITE COFFEE SHOP! Aaron and Amy are not only WONDERFUL but they have delicious coffee and great prices. They also have events every week including: kids morning and board game day. We love them! If I could give a 6 star review I would!
Top tier coffee shop! A hidden gem in the desert of starbucks. Im not a coffee connoisseur but my sister is and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. My sister rated the espresso highly!
Great place to get COVID and moldy diarrhea flavored coffee.
I absolutely LOVE this place! The coffee taste amazing & the owners are sweet! I recommend going if you havent done so...
Its okay, coffee was good but not great. Prices are certainly good. Decor was kind of basic. Certainly there are better executed coffee places around.
Very cute local spot. It was actually nice and quite on a weekday afternoon and a friend and I could actually talk and relax in the nice atmosphere. Their iced tea of the day, ginger peach, was quite yummy.
Excellent espresso. Great atmosphere, cool art decor for sale too.
Aaron and his wife are awesome! They really know their coffee and are always happy to serve! Recommend as a local coffee option!
Favorite coffee shop in Tucson by far! This is a hidden gem with consistent drinks and a great atmosphere. The team here is the best of the best!
Store was closed at 9:45am. Sign outside of Bookmans said to bring receipt for 10% & door was locked. People inside but ignored us & sign said hours were open until 6pm, but no service today apparently.
Great local start up spot! The shop is clean, great selections of espresso and latte. Comfy and cozy with board games and couches! Highly recommend this coffee shop!
Super cozy little spot with amazing coffee! So smooth and delicious! I guzzled mine quickly because it was so good! Highly recommended!
Great little coffee shop. Our cold brew was amazing! Good prices and love that it’s locally owned. Highly recommend.
Very nice new place, they make your coffee just how you would like it. My coffee I like very, very hot and thats exactly how they made it, excellent. If its not on their menu make sure you ask cause they will make it. They are just starting out and they have really good coffee, and their scones are to die for, they are very good.
Very yummy and creamier than Starbucks lattes ! Yummm!!And local pasties very reasonable prices and friendly service! Nice, clean atmosphere and cute games to play while hanging out! Also, good reading too- Books about Tucson! Local art for purchase too!Really like this place!
Nice kid friendly coffee shop. Cold brew is delicious! Love the large ice cube!
Hidden gem coffee shop. Delicious lattes and friendly staff. Also has cool local artwork on the walls👍
Crema Coffee is great! I just moved to Tucson from Portland and am excited to have found a local coffee shop that feels like home with great coffee, non-dairy options, and a laid back atmosphere.I often meet my clients at coffee shops and Crema Coffee is my first choice!
Love this little niche coffee shop- best latte! I always support locally owned businesses whenever possible and this is my new go to place for meetings. Try it!
Really nice staff, coffee is quality and the tables are nice for getting work done or sitting and chatting. Nothing too fancy or assuming just a comfortable place with good music and ambiance.
Nice new place! I hope they are successful because its the only place of its kind anywhere near here. Could use a patio.
Excellent high quality coffee.Local owned businessAll beans and pastries are locally sourced.Owners are really good people.Nice atmosphere.
First time in, I got the cold brew and its delicious! Strong, but in a good way and kinda sweet! Ill definitely be back! Thank you :)
I highly recommend this place! Cute atmosphere, beautiful art on the walls, DELICIOUS coffee. I had an americano, my mom had a latte. Both were awesome.
Delicious!!! I had an amazing iced chai latte with almond milk, plus you have your choice of a sweeter chai or spicier chai (spicy here). Smooth, delicious, flavorful, aesthetically pleasing with the beautiful ice block that also kept the coffees flavor by not watering it down while keeping it cold. Gorgeous artwork by local artists gives a nice touch, plus the artwork is for sale. We will absolutely be back!
Nice shop, friendly service. The cold brew was atrocious. Tasted like it was made using pool water and used a ball sack and pennies to filter out the grounds.
Nice atmosphere, quiet, friendly, helpful in providing info on beverages. Tasty Latte with my choice of a coffee of Mexico
I came here for the first time on Saturday April 13 and decided to try this place out for myself. Great little coffee shop. I ordered the mocha latte hot and it was excellent, the espresso they used was really good. You can taste the quality of the beans as soon as you take the first sip.Really good place, hoping it starts to pick up. They did just open, but I’m sure positive word of mouth will get them going. I’m going to start coming over here from now on for my coffee fix instead of going to Starbucks. They’re in the little plaza between Ina and Thornydale close to the Bookman’s if you wanna want to find it.
Very accommodating customer service
My coworker suggested crema coffee to me because I’m a huge fan of macchiatos and this shop is right near my house. A few weeks later, I go to crema, I wait for my macchiato in their super comfy couches, and I receive my masterpiece of a drink. The cup it was served in allowed me to watch the beautiful swirls of the milk mixing with the espresso, the milk was delicious and sweet, it was the best macchiato I’ve ever had. The next day I brought my whole crew to experience it with me, and it was just as good as the day before. Aaron and Amy are so sweet, their shop is so welcoming, and their coffee is really amazing.
Very low key, lovely space, great coffee! Live independent coffee shops. Go be nice and grab a cuppa.
One of the best chai tea lattes Ive ever had! Great coffee shop for meetings and hangin four with friends. I went to their kids events where I received a free pastry with the purchase of a coffee or tea. My son thoroughly loved the blueberry scone and I thoroughly enjoyed my chai tea. Thanks so much! What a little gem that I cant wait to visit again and again!
Basic coffee shop with good customer service. Love that they are using local teas by Maya. My cohort was also thrilled with the EXO coffee.
Was pretty disappointed to see the staff and most costumers not wearing masks. Staff didn’t even wear gloves. While putting a unwrapped straw in my drink the employee just used their hand which was just gross. Hope they can adapt and pick up some cleaner habits.
Excellent service and quality!!
2 espresso and a pastry makes the world go round. They were great! Theres a good board game selection for caffeinated squabbles of Sorry, Uno, and Scrabble, just to name a few
Super delish coffee. Wonderful service. My new favorite coffee stop
Great coffee, super friendly staff, and chill atmosphere. Definitely check out it!
Customers and staff are not wearing masks, meaning this place doesnt care about customers. So, never going back. Which is too bad because I really love supporting small businesses.
Edit*** I recently went in and the staff were not wearing masks. I cannot support a company that does not take people’s safety seriously. I wish they would’ve shown better precautions because the drinks are amazing and I would love to support a local business.
There coffee Is very smooth. They grind if fresh everyday.
Great atmosphere, lilting music, delicious mochas, and fresh donuts. The staff is nice, the internet is 140mbps (fast.com), and seating is abundant. We stopped in on a road trip to get some WiFi and were pleasantly surprised. Well be back!
Cozy little shop, with delicious coffee and amazing pastries! Would definitely recommend over the larger chains like Starbucks for the price and taste!
Love the flavor of their lattes. The exo beans they use are awesome.
This place is a new favorite of mine, and Ill probably spend quite a bit of money here over the next few months, if not years. The store:The atmosphere was very relaxed and casual, and the store itself was clean. There wasnt much in the way of decoration, but that actually helps to make the place feel more warm and welcoming, like going over to a friends house. The owner and his wife, who are the only current employees, are both rather nice people, and know what theyre doing. Its also relatively quiet, so its a nice place to be with a book, which can conveniently be purchased from the Bookmans three shops over. The menu:At the moment, they only have one type of coffee bean on hand, but they plan to expand into other beans soon. They offer the standard that is drip coffee and cold brew, as well as espresso and the related drinks of cafe americano, latte, and cappuccino, and when they get better beans for it, they have equipment for pour over coffee. They also have a small, but rather nice variety of teas on hand. The coffee is of high quality, as are other items on the menu. When I was there, I had what is probably the best cappuccino Ive had in the last three years. What makes it even better is that if your drink is for there, they have stoneware and glassware cups for the hot and cold drinks respectively. The scones, which come from a local bakery, are delicious, especially the blueberry lemon. What sets it apart? For one, Cremas drinks are served without sugar in them, and have sugar, as well as simple syrup for cold drinks, on hand to mix in yourself to taste, that way you get just as much sweetener as you want. I dont care for sugar in my coffee, but having the option to do it myself, rather than request a number of portions of sugar like most other places do is a far superior choice, especially since they have simple syrup for cold drinks, meaning that you dont have to deal with those sugar crystals just sitting at the bottom of your drink. They also dont charge as much as their competitors, with most of their drinks costing 3.50, and extra espresso shots costing only a dollar extra, though ordering just an espresso costs 2.The only thing I would want would be more options for coffee and, as theyre working on that, nothing else comes to mind.
Great coffee, excellent service, and a quiet place to grab a cup of Joe :)
Excellent coffee! Much better than Starbucks!
Good prices, nice people, relaxed atmosphere, but dont count on finding an available table.
I put in my drink order yet the 4 people after me got their drinks first, the espresso is meh. I wont be returning
Great coffee, the owners are so friendly
The ice latte and blueberry scone was delish 👌🏽
